through the world of Pokémon.

The Legendary Pokémon, Suicune, has appeared.

-Suicune? -Where is it?

[Chrysa] Eyewitness accounts place it right around this area.

[Ren] It's said Suicune travels the world purifying polluted water.

We also heard that a big storm seriously muddied

these once pristine lake waters.

And it's there that Suicune appeared to clean up the lake.

-Pika? -Sobble?

-Suicune sounds kind of nice. -Kind of nice?

A Legendary Pokémon, "nice"?

Perhaps that's part of being a legend.

It obviously has earned lots of people's respect.

[Chrysa] But there are some oddities.

-[both gasp] -Hm?

Normally once it's cleaned a body of water,

Suicune usually goes away.

[Chrysa] But this time, it seems to be staying around the lake.

[Goh] I wonder why.

And so, that's just what I want my research fellows to find out!

[Ash, Goh] Right!

-Then it's time to go! -Pika!

[Goh] Go!

[narrator] Ash and Goh are searching deep within the mountainous countryside

where witness sightings for Suicune originated.

-Pika. -[groans]

[Pika yells]

-What's that awful odor? -It stinks!

Hm? Over this way!

[burbling]

[Ash] This is the lake where Suicune's supposed to be.

How did it get like this?

[Goh] Wasn't Suicune supposed to have cleaned up the water?

[hunter ] Muk, use Sludge b*mb!

-[Muk roars] -[both gasp]

[hunter ] Trubbish, do your worst!

[Trubbish grumbles]

What are they doing?

They look like rough characters.

We should contact Officer Jenny.

-[grunts] -Oh, wait, Ash!

[hunters snickering]

-[Ash] Knock it off! -[all gasp]

[hunter ] And who do you think you are?

[all shout]

[hunters groan]

[growling]

-[Goh gasps] -[delighted chuckle]

[roaring]

[grunts]

[hunters whimper]

You sure do have spirit,

but I think it's about time that spirit took a break.

So those are Pokémon hunters!

I get it! So they're trying to weaken Suicune,

and then catch it.

[tense music]

[Suicune grunts]

All right! Take care of this!

[all] Sludge b*mb!

-Let's go! -Sludge b*mb!

[growling]

[groaning]

-[groans] -[both] Suicune, no!

[Cinderace] Cinde!

You won't get in our way!

All right, Garbodor, use Sludge b*mb!

Garbodor.

-Pika! -Cinde!

-Pika. Pi. -[both grunt]

[muttering]

We've gotta help it. But how are we gonna do that?

[grunting]

[groans]

The future's in the palm of my hand.

All right, Poké Ball, go!

[gasps]

[whirring]

[chimes]

[Rotom phone] Suicune has been registered to your Pokédex.

-[all gasp] -[hunters] No way!

This means Suicune is now one of my friends!

So why don't you just give up and go home?

I don't appreciate someone who comes in and steals a catch.

Looks like we're gonna have to teach you some manners then,

and some rules, too.

Oh, give me a break! You were doing bad stuff!

It's our job, and that's just the way we roll.

When we want something, we get it one way or another!

-[grunts] -Pika!

-Goh, clear out! -But…

You've got to protect Suicune, now!

[gasps]

Cinderace, Sobble, let's go!

-Cinde! -Sobble!

Stop him, quick!

Oh, no, you don't!

[all grunt]

Pikachu, Quick Attack! Lucario, Aura Sphere!

[both grunt]

[Goh panting]

[Goh] Just stay safe, Ash! Please!

[dramatic music]

[whimpering]

-[groans] -[Pokémon muttering]

[growls]

[groans]

[gasps]

[snarling]

-Cinderace! -Sobble!

Okay, Suicune, first, we've gotta get you to a Pokémon Center!

-Now return-- -[gasps]

[Pokémon chatter]

[Goh] Listen, please!

We got to go before those guys get here.

[Goh groans]

[suspenseful music]

[grunts, pants]

-Sobble. -Cinde.

[grunting]

[groans, gasps]

-[Pidgey squeals] -[groans]

-Pidgey, what's up? -Pidgey.

[snarling]

[Goh] You're protecting Suicune?

Of course! Suicune's trying to purify the lake water,

so you'll be able to keep living here.

Sobble.

Wait. Uh, believe me, I'm not like those Pokémon hunters at all.

'Course, you don't understand what I'm saying.

All I can do is let Suicune heal on its own.

[chiming]

-Exegg. -[cheering]

Cinderace, I want you to protect Suicune.

-Look out for those bad guys. -[Cinderace] Cinde.

Raichu and Sobble, I want you to come with me.

[Raichu and Sobble mutter]

And you Exeggutor. Keep an eye out!

[groans]

-[hunter ] You find 'em? -[hunter ] Nah, rotten kids.

[hunter grunts]

[snarls]

[snoring]

-[Goh] I'm back. -[Raichu chitters]

[Rattatas snarling]

They're berries that can eliminate poison.

I figured you all might be hungry, so we brought a lot.

[Goh] As long as it gets back to feeling healthy.

[calm music]

[hunter] Boss, I found out where they're hiding!

[boss groans] Is that right?

We were just taken for a bunch of fools,

and there's no way we're gonna let that stand.

[Ash] Who's that Pokémon?

-Pika? -[Suicine growls]

[Rotom phone beeping]

No good. It won't connect.

-[Suicine grunts] -Hm?

[Pokémon chattering]

[gasps]

[Goh] You're wounded!

-[growls] -[gasps]

[soft chuckle]

It's all right. Just let me see.

[snarls]

-[hissing] -[groans]

I'm sorry about that.

[Goh] But I'm glad I brought this.

[all grunting]

[growls]

[grunts]

[yells]

[blasts]

-[Goh, Ash] Way to go! -[Pokémon cheering]

[all grunt]

All right, Houndoom, Flamethrower!

[grunts]

-Suicune, Ice Beam! -[Suicune growls]

[both grunting]

[groans]

-[thuds] -[all gasp]

[whimpers]

-[grunts] -Ah…

[hunters grunt]

[snarls]

Suicune, wait.

[action music]

[gasps]

[sighs]

But what are we supposed to do with them now?

We'll do this.

[waling]

[all whimpering]

[all gasp]

-[Suicine growls] -[all gasp]

I never dreamed I could see Suicune up close like this.

[Ren] That's amazing! You actually caught Suicune!

[Chrysa] It's so beautiful!

-[all gasp] -Pika?

-[howling] -Suicune, what's up?

[both gasp]

[all grunt]

[howling continues]

[howling]

[all grunting]

[both gasp]

[Ash] Where'd it go?

[Goh] It's still around.

[gasps]

It's around, even if we can't see it.

I can feel it.

Wow, really? Yeah, you're right.

[narrator] Goh and Suicune wound up forming a very real bond,

which means Goh's taken a big step toward fulfilling his dream.

But there are still many other Pokémon in the world.

When will our heroes manage to meet them all?
