Sobble, everything's fine.

Darmanitan can't seem to resist pulling a prank.

Sometimes a little payback is good.

[Goh chuckles]

That's Sobble, all right…

[door opens]

-[Ash and Goh] Hmm? -Man! Amazing.

So, while I was out for lunch,

I saw a movie being made near the warehouses.

And guess what it was? The next chapter of the Spy and Sidekick series.

No way! That's unbelievable!

-What's that? -[Goh and Ren] You don't know?

It's a movie series where the lead is a Pokémon Trainer spy

region "and her partner, Inteleon, is just the coolest ever.

[Rotom phone] Inteleon. The Secret Agent Pokémon. A Water type.

Inteleon has many capabilities hidden all over its body.

It can sh**t water from its fingers and glide using a membrane on its back.

They keep making sequels, and they're all hits.

-It looks awesome. -Told you so.

Say, it looks like Sobble's interested, too.

Makes sense because Inteleon is Sobble's final evolved form.

-I wanna see. Think they're still at it? -Let's check it out.

-Pika, pika. -Huh?

[narrator] And so, our heroes have arrived at the filming location.

According to what Ren said, it's right over--

-[Kublock] This is all wrong! -[all gasp]

I know that voice…

[narrator] This is Director Kublock, considered a master of the movie business.

Wrong! This is all wrong!

This is all wrong!

[narrator] A while back, Ash and Goh went to see him direct a movie,

thanks to arrangements made by Professor Cerise.

First, she does this, then she does that.

-Then we need a certain something… -[man clears throat]

Uh, what should we do, sir? Everybody's on set and ready to go.

[grunting]

[yells] Let's roll it!

It's about to start, Sobble.

[Kublock] Speed and action!

[panting]

[gasps]

Hand that over!

All right. Go, Murkrow.

-[all] Murkrow! -[g*nshots]

-Inteleon. -That was some nice timing, partner.

[all gasp]

-Whoa. -[Goh] Hmm.

[goon] Don't let 'em get away.

Murkrow. Murk.

-[all gasp] -Pika!

[crowd exclaim]

What's happening?

-[Meowth] Hey, you! -[Jessie] Stop…

Battling!

[Meowth] We're on your team. Dig?

[Jessie] Hop in, Inteleon, and we'll blow this pop stand.

Uh, so is this actually part of the plot?

Those gatecrashers have got to go.

-Let's cut-- -Keep the film rolling!

-Excuse me? -This could be just what I've wanted.

Keep the camera rolling!

[all scream]

-Intel. -Huh?

[both grunt]

Inteleon.

Who would've guessed it wouldn't be going with the program?

[Team Rocket whooping]

[Jessie clears throat]

Prepare for trouble, it's star time for real.

And make it a double-dramatic deal.

To protect the world from devastation!

To unite all people within our nation!

To denounce the evils of truth and love!

To extend our reach to the stars above!

-Jessie. -And James.

Team Rocket blasts off at the speed of light.

Surrender now or prepare for a cinematic fight.

-Meowth, that's right! -Wobbuffet!

[Jessie] Team Rocket is on set.

No way. It really is Team Rocket.

Pika.

Adding to the conflict. This is right. This is right.

Inteleon, we did a thorough background check on you

by watching all your movies.

Because of your clarity and talent as a spy,

we'd like to recruit you as part of Team Rocket's fighting force.

So, we expect you to come along quietly and leave your ego behind.

-[Ash] Don't tell it what to do! -[Goh] Stop interfering with all of this!

[all gasp]

-That sounds just like Twerps. -You stop interfering with us.

More strange people are showing up.

-Keep that film rolling! -[gasps]

-All right, come on down! -All right, come on down!

[singing] ♪ Pelipper, Pelipper, Pelipper ♪

-[squawks] -[rocket whooshes]

[all] And bullseye!

[all gasp]

Charm in!

[Jessie and James] Our secret Rocket Prize Master!

-Show us what we've won! -Show us what we've won!

[Jessie] The Bite Pokémon, Poochyena.

[Poochyena hisses]

[singsong] ♪ Lovely ♪

[James] And the Dark Pokémon, Houndour.

[Houndour growls]

Now, that's sleek.

-Pikachu, do it. -Pika!

And go.

Race.

[Pikachu panting]

Poochyena, use Yawn, now!

[growls]

-Dodge it! -Dodge it!

-Pika! -[crowd gasp]

This is all right… [yawns]

[all] Mr. Kublock!

-Look at what you did. -[Jessie] You did it by dodging.

Look. They've got that crybaby Pokémon again.

[Jessie] Waa, waa, waa.

[all laugh, cry]

-[Sobble wails] -[all sobbing]

I guess there's only one thing left to do.

Poochyena, use Scary Face on the blue baby.

[Sobble screams]

[grunts]

[wails]

-No way! -No way!

[Jessie] Way!

-[all crying] -Hey! That was no fair.

Nobody goofs things up like Twerps.

Nya, na boo-boo.

-Wobbuffet. -[cackles]

Now, Houndour, heat things up with Ember!

Poochyena, use Shadow Ball!

[both growl]

[Jacqueline] Inteleon, use Snipe Shot.

[both gasp]

-[crying] -[chiming music]

[upbeat music]

[exclaims]

That was sneaky.

Doing one's job without a sound is just one of the skills of being a spy.

-Right, Inteleon? -Inteleon.

-What? -No. Vanished again?

[Team Rocket babbling]

[Jacqueline] Now, use Snipe Shot.

[both gasp, yelp]

[all scream]

We may have failed big…

[all] But Inteleon still lights up the silver screen.

Wobbuffet!

[zapping]

[blows] Intel.

[all exclaim]

-[man] And that's a wrap for lunch. -[snores]

[man] Everybody please stand aside.

Inteleon was awesome, wasn't it?

For sure. And Sobble was mesmerized.

[all gasp]

Where'd it go?

[man] Hold it right there. Production members only.

-[Goh groans] -[Sobble cries]

I'm so sorry. Sobble is with me.

Well, keep a closer eye on it.

-[Sobble grunting] -[sighs]

-Oh, Sobble. -[Sobble gibbering]

You see, we've never, ever seen Inteleon in person before.

Couldn't you please just let us meet Inteleon for, like, a minute or two?

-Uh… -We're done for now, so of course you can.

-Isn't this the best, Sobble? -Sobble.

It takes me back. That's just how Inteleon used to look.

That is so cool.

Isn't it?

We're partners both on and off of the movie set.

And Inteleon wasn't always as strong as you see now.

Inteleon.

[Sobble chuckles]

[gasps]

Hmm.

Looks like Sobble might have a new role model.

[blows]

-Darman! -[whimpers]

[Sobble grumbling]

[Darmanitan chuckles]

[James exclaims]

Seeing Inteleon up close, you can really tell it's strong.

There's no doubt it should be part of our team.

Since we're up against the best, we need a mission game plan.

Then we'll truly be prepared for anything.

[Ash] Who's that Pokémon?

[mysterious music]

Now, we're going to train like never before!

That being said,

what kind of training do you think we should do?

I know what. Battles, lots. Don't forget Inteleon is super strong.

I guess it can't hurt to try.

-Now don't pull any punches, buddy. -Pika!

-Let's get this thing started, okay? -Sobble, sobble.

-All right, use Pound. -[Sobble yells]

-Now meet it head-on. -Pika!

-[Sobble whimpers] -Chu…

-[Ash] Huh? -Oh. You afraid of getting closer?

You're a target if you stand still. Pikachu, use Quick Attack.

Well, dodge it while using Water g*n.

-Sobble! -Pika?

-[Pika and Sobble gibbering] -[Ash] Where's the Water g*n?

I guess Sobble would rather protect itself then go on the offense.

[Goh] For now, it's into running away.

Yeah, I guess that it's the safest way to go.

But it doesn't make for great battling.

-[Ash] Let's take a break. -Pika.

Maybe you're just not cut out for this, Sobble.

[gasps, wails]

[Goh] I didn't mean it that way.

I meant your battling style.

Here's the deal.

You're always on the lookout for trouble.

And if things seem even a little dangerous, you run, right?

but I think being able to protect yourself is not a bad thing at all.

[Goh] But we're not taking advantage of what's good about the way you react.

that really uses the way you protect yourself.

[giggles]

-[Goh] Over there! -[Ash] It went that way!

-Sobble. -Pika!

-Cinderace. -Sobble.

[Goh] That was a lot of fun, right?

-[man] Somebody. -[all gasp]

[grunts] You okay?

-Hey, you work on the movie. -[man pants]

I simply went out with Gothita to get some lunch for everybody.

-[Meowth] Hey, ya! -[man gasps, grunts]

[Gothita exclaims]

There's nothing quite like bagging a babyish Pokémon.

[Meowth cackles]

And if you want it out of the bag…

[man] They told me to bring Inteleon there.

-Why, those jerks… -So they haven't given up yet, huh?

We'll head there first. [grunts]

Go tell everyone what's happened.

I'm on it. [screams]

[suspenseful music]

This should be right…

-Cinder. -[Ash and Goh] Hmm?

-[foreboding music] -[crickets chirping]

Let's go.

[mysterious music]

[Goh] Wow.

It's a surprise that this cave is kept up so well.

But what are those?

I thought they might be lookouts,

but they don't seem to be attacking or anything.

Still, it seems like they're looking around all over the place.

[shuddering] Sobble…

Well, they're not in the way, so let's look for Gothita.

All right.

[crying] Gothita! Gothita!

-Do you hear that? -Mm-hmm. There.

Race!

[Goh and Ash grunt]

Gothi…

-[Goh] Gothita, are you okay? -Gothi!

-[Ash] We'll get you out. -Pika.

[Ash pants]

[all gasp]

[clanking]

Sobble…

[all exclaim]

Why does it have to be you dumb Twerps?

-[grunts] -It's annoying.

We bought all of these cameras for one thing!

To get shots of Inteleon being cool.

So those weird things are cameras?

All they got were shots of you, dumb Twerps.

Knock it off already.

[all grunt]

[Ash] You're the ones who should knock it off!

-[Meowth] Stop copying me! -Wob-wobbuffet!

-Cinderace, smash those bars. -Cinder.

[grunting]

[panting] Cinder.

Too bad, they don't go down that easily.

But now that you're here, let's make it worthwhile.

[Meowth] We'll grab Pikachu and Cinderace,

and while we're at it, that crybaby Pokémon, too.

And along with Inteleon, we'll make a prize package for the Boss.

Wobbuffet.

[quivering] Sobble…

Show them the results of all your training.

Sobble…

I know it's a whole lot, but this is your battle. You can do it.

[shudders]

Sobble.

-Prepare to be caught. -Get ready.

[Wobbuffet cackles]

Sobble, Water g*n, straight up.

[Sobble yelling]

-What? It's gone. -Wobbuffet?

Sobble just used the water from Water g*n.

And now it's completely invisible.

[Goh] Now use Water g*n on Meowth.

-[Sobble shrieks] -[Meowth grunts]

[Jessie] Even if you can't see it, you know where it is.

It's right next to you.

[Wobbuffet grunts]

[trembles] Sobble…

-Quick, Sobble, Water g*n! -[Wobbuffet whimpers]

Now run away again.

-So cool. -Pika!

Get distance before attacking,

-then run away before the counterattack. -[Wobbuffet whimpers]

[Goh] That's Sobble's Hit and Run battle tactic.

Sobble. [grunts]

-[Jessie] Hey, that's not fair. -[Wobbuffet groans]

-That's how you want it? Then try this on. -[beeps]

[both screaming]

What's that?

-[all gasp] -Pika.

[all cough]

Huh?

Our plan for when Inteleon vanishes is a complete success.

-Peekaboo, I see you and you're mine. -Wobbu!

[both scream]

Forget the battle. Run away!

[whimpers]

[suspenseful music]

-[Goh] Sobble! -Huh?

-Here I come! -[Wobbuffet shrieks]

Sobble.

-Oh… -Sobble, sobble.

[all gasp]

Huh?

It returned to its Poké Ball. What was that?

[Rotom phone] It was a move called U-turn.

That's awesome!

[zaps]

Sobble?

Great move, Sobble. You learned to hit your opponent and run away.

The perfect move for your Hit and Run strategy.

Sobble.

All right, Pikachu, Sobble, and Cinderace. Work together to break out of this cage.

[Pokémon gibber]

-Are you all right, old chum? -Say something, Wobbuffet.

-[loud clanking] -[Jessie and James gasp]

Looks like we turned the tables on you.

-[whimpering] -Tables, my foot!

Time for you to wrap things up.

-Use Pyro Ball. -Cinder.

Pikachu, now use Thunderbolt.

-Pika… -Cinder… race.

-Chu! -[all scream]

-[Team Rocket] We're blasting off again. -Wobbuffet!

Gothita, I was so worried.

-[laughs] -Gothita!

We gave them a big taste of their own medicine.

[Kublock] Yeah. This is all right. This is really all right!

-You were the star, weren't you? -Sobble.

We came as fast as we could,

but it looks like we weren't needed after all.

Inteleon.

-Inteleon. -[Sobble] Hmm.

[exclaiming] Sobble.

[Goh] Hey, Sobble?

[Ash] Hey, where are you hiding, huh?

-[Ash and Goh gasp] -It's Darmanitan.

[yawns]

-[splashing] -[Darmanitan grunts]

[grumbles]

[all gasp]

[Darmanitan grumbles]

[laughs]

-So that's where Sobble was. -And that's how it's done.

[narrator] A meeting with its idol

has cause a big transformation within Sobble's heart.
