and we're just in time to see our heroes' train arrive.

-We have to transfer to another train. -Yeah, I know.

So, where's the train heading to Stow-on-Side?

-[Goh] Let's move! -[Ash] Yeah!

[man ] The Ghost Train is now departing.

Stand clear of the closing doors, please.

But it doesn't matter what it's called. It's still heading for Stow-on-Side.

Then that means it's the car way at the front of the train.

Yeah. Let's go!

Whoa! Check it out. Talk about first class.

-Pikachu! -Grookey, key.

It looks like a special car, all right.

[both chattering]

A Ghost and Flying type.

Drifloon grab children's hands as if they were going to guide them

to the Ghost World.

-The Ghost World? -Huh?

Catching them's the last thing I wanna do.

[Ash in hoarse voice] Listen, you.

-Ash? -Pika?

What's your problem with the Ghost World?

-[Goh screaming] -[Ash laughing]

[Rotom Phone] Although Drifloon tug on children's hands,

they often end up getting pulled around instead.

[laughing hysterically]

[Rotom Phone] Sableye. The Darkness Pokémon.

A Dark and Ghost type.

Sableye eat gems, jewels, and crystals.

-Ah! -Check it out!

-Something's coming out of the ground! -[Grookey shrieks]

-What's going on with them? -[Ash laughing]

Pika.

[Rotom Phone] Nincada. The Trainee Pokémon.

A Bug and Ground type.

Nincada can live underground for more than ten years,

taking in nutrients from tree roots.

[trilling]

[gasps] Wait. Don't tell me that those are…

-They're evolving? -[grumbling]

[Rotom Phone] Ninjask. The Ninja Pokémon.

A Bug and Flying type.

Ninjask are so fast, they are said to be able to dodge any attack.

-[Goh whimpers] -Here they come!

Ash! [groans]

Pika, pika! [grunting]

[all whimper]

[groans]

[mumbles]

Pikachu, thank you.

-Pikachu. -[chimes]

[Rotom Phone] Shedinja has been registered to your Pokédex.

[grunts]

Shedinja!

[Rotom Phone] Shedinja. The Shed Pokémon.

A Bug and Ghost type.

Shedinja appear in empty Poké ba*ls when Nincada evolve into Ninjask.

-Ah! -[chitters]

-Could you stop that, Ash? -Spoilsport.

[suspenseful music]

Why are people on the Ghost Train?

-[rumbles] -[all whimper]

-[Spiritomb] Spiritomb. -Pika, pika!

[rattling]

[blasts]

-The special car. -Huh?

-Spiritomb. It woke up. -Huh?

[Rotom Phone chimes] Spiritomb.

The Forbidden Pokémon. A Ghost and Dark type.

Spiritomb are Pokémon made up of spirits.

Some of those spirits can be ill-natured.

Ill-natured spirits?

It's saying, "Give me my spirit back."

You understand what Spiritomb's saying?

It's a feeling I get. But more importantly…

There's that person.

-Huh? -Pika?

[evil laughter]

-Spiritomb. -[Goh whimpering]

What's the deal?

One of Spiritomb's ill-natured spirits is possessing him.

-Pika, pi… -What are you talking about?

Is that why Ash has been acting so strange all this time?

-[Pikachu grunting] -[evil Ash quivering]

[Pikachu] Pika!

[pensive music]

I said Spiritomb!

-Pika. -[grunts]

Ash, pull yourself together! How do we get him back to normal?

-[rumbling] -[snaps]

[groans]

[whimpering]

[all cooing]

This is bad! If it keeps up, then we'll jump the track.

We're trying to get the spirit back to you as fast as we can!

[blasts]

[Grookey mutters]

Take that to Spiritomb.

[blasts]

It's no use! I just can't land an attack!

[upbeat music]

[grunts]

[suspenseful music]

[gasps]

That spirit is what Gengar's holding now.

All we need to do is stop it for a second, together.

And then we can just give it back the spirit.

[blasts]

[mysterious music]

-Gengar! -Absol.

Throw some wreckage into the air!

[both grunt]

[both giggle]

[train chugging]

[Allister] Spiritomb wanted to come to this cemetery.

After all, the Ghost Train is here to transport Ghost type Pokémon.

Ghost type Pokémon? No one else?

[indistinct chatter]

[train hissing]

-That was fun, right? -I guess so.

And we still wound up here in Stow-on-Side.

I almost forgot. I think this belongs to you.

-[Ash] What happened? -[Goh] The Ghost Train's gone!

Ash, what does this mean?

Were we really on board? I wonder.

[narrator] The Ghost Train. Odd, perhaps a bit scary.

Maybe even you, like Ash and Goh, might someday mistakenly climb aboard,

as the journey continues!
