Have you ever had a friend who was feeling a little sad

And all you wanted to do

Was put a nice big smile on their face?

Well, that was the thing with hazel.

She just wasn't herself

And we all just wanted to, you know,

Cheer her up.

We tried everything!

But it was only when we smushed

Our ideas together...

This story really begins with me and rabbit,

The day we were playing...

Well, I like scampering,

Scurrying, running, swinging, sorting -

And of course, dancing, prancing, and-

This would be perfect for my rock collection -

If I had a rock collection.

If I can't collect acorns,

I'll just collect other things instead.

We've all got to get to hazel's tree

And surprise her!

We need to cheer her up!

Rose hips, rose thorns and roses,

And the gibble goose girls are going to give her

Some pretty time.

You know, hazel's always rushin' around.

A little rest would be good for her.

I'll lend my lollygagging lily pad,

And she can lean back

And watch the clouds go by. (Chuckles)

Let's all head over to hazel's hidey hole

And get ready for the surprise!

(Stack rustles)

(Crash)

That's why I like acorns:

They're so shiny and smooth,

But mostly they stack so nicely.

When we hear hazel coming,

Everyone will hide,

Then we'll jump out and surprise her!

We'll shower her with pretty time!

And I'll roll out the lollygagging lily pad

For a little cloud gazing.

And then I do my thumpa-thumpa dance!

We were all trying to do our own thing

To cheer hazel up,

But it was only when we danced together

That she got what she really wanted -

More acorns to gather,

Polish, sort, stack, and store.

And until she gets to the storing part...

Today, my friend rabbit

Invented the best thing to play with.

We couldn't wait to try it out,

But it's a winter thing,

And it's not winter yet.

But there was no way we could wait that long!

What is it?

I call it a "snow-snapper."

We can use it to pack snow

Without getting our paws cold.

Like this, only with snow instead of sand.

That's a great snow-snapper!

I can't wait to play with it.

The only problem is...

There's no snow.

But it must be time for snow.

(Quacking)

Mousethe ducks are going to a warmer place

For the winter.

That's a for sure sign it'll snow soon!

And the biggest sign

Is that all the leaves have fallen down.

I wonder what he saw?

There's one leaf left!

'Cause first the leaves fall,

Then winter comes,

Then snow comes.

So as long as that leaf is up there,

So we found out we couldn't really make snow come.

We just had to think up new ways to use it.
