- Let's go somewhere new today Bill.

- That sounds exciting.

- Now, let's have a look on our map.

- [Corky] Which place will we go to Bill?

- [Bill] That's what we'll choose now Corky.

(doorbell rings)

- Were we expecting visitors today?

- I don't think so.

- [Corky] I wonder who it could be.

- [Bill] He looks a little strange.

- [Corky] He's from fairy land.

- He's Tricky the troll!

Hello Tricky.

What brings you here?

- Bill.

I need to speak to you and Corky.

Can I please?

- 'Course you can Tricky.

Come on in.

- Hi Tricky, what's the problem?

- I need to get some boo boo bananas.

- Boo boo bananas?

What sort of bananas are they?

- Special green and blue bananas.

And they're only found in the Jingle Jangle Jungle.

- The Jingle Jangle Jungle?

- There it is Bill.

It's the home of the Cheeky Squeaky Monkies.

- And it's far, far away.

- Which is why I need your help.

I don't know how to get there on my own.

- But why do you need boo boo bananas, Tricky?

- It's a secret.

- [Both] A secret?

- But it's very important.

And if I don't get them, something terrible will happen.

- Gosh, we wouldn't want that.

- Don't worry, you'll get them Tricky.

Corky and I will take you to the Jingle Jangle Jungle.

- (laughs) Thank you!

- [Bill] We'll need a vehicle.

- [Tricky] What sort of vehicle?

- [Corky] It's got four wheels and a place

to carry the boo boo bananas.

- It's a truck!

This looks perfect, Bill.

- Are we all ready?

- [Corky And Tricky] Ready!

- Next stop, the Jingle Jangle Jungle.

- [Corky] The map says we've got to go along

this dirt road, Bill.

- [Bill] It looks like very pretty countryside, Corky.

- [Corky] It is Bill, we can see lots of nice scenery

while we drive.

- Are we there yet?

- We only just started Tricky.

- The Jingle Jangle Jungle is far, far away.

- Then let's go faster!

- Hold on everyone, there's a few bumps ahead.

(all exclaiming)

- Watch out for that stone Bill.

(all screaming)

(clattering)

It broke our wheel Bill.

- Not to worry Corky.

We'll put the spare wheel on.

Paint me pink, we forgot to bring it.

- (exclaims) Now we'll never

get to the Jingle Jangle Jungle!

- Don't be so sure of that Tricky.

We might be in luck.

- Why Bill?

- Look up there.

- [Tricky] What is it?

- [Corky] It looks like some sort of machine.

- [Bill] Not just any machine, it's a flying machine.

- [Tricky] What use is that to us?

- [Bill] It belongs to a friend of ours.

And he can help us.

- [Corky] Who is it, Bill?

- [Bill] Look closely, Corky.

- [Corky] I see who it is.

It's Cedric the scientist.

- Come on everyone, start waving.

Cedric! - Down here!

- [Tricky] Cedric!

- Goodness me, who's that?

- [Bill] Cedric!

- [Corky] Come here.

- Help!

- It's Bill and Corky.

And it sounds like they need help.

- Good work, he's coming down.

- Let's go and meet him.

- [All] Hello Cedric.

- Hello you three, what's the matter?

- We were on our way to the Jingle Jangle Jungle

when we had an accident.

- [Cedric] Oh dear, yes that looks bad.

Bad indeed.

- Can you help us Cedric?

- I can certainly fix the wheel.

- Yeah, Cedric, do it, please.

- But it will take two days

to reach the Jingle Jangle Jungle by truck.

- Two days?

But I have to get the boo boo bananas now!

- There must be some way we can get there quicker.

- There is indeed.

You can all ride in my new flying machine.

It's as quick as a flash.

- That will be fantastic Cedric.

- We'll be in the Jingle Jangle Jungle in no time.

- Everybody in and make yourselves comfortable.

Are we all ready?

- [All] Ready.

- Then off we go!

(happy music)

- Next stop, the Jingle Jangle Jungle.

- Right you are, Bill.

- You said this was fast, Cedric?

Get me fast, I want fast!

- You want fast, Tricky?

Then fast it is.

(music accelerates) (group exclaims)

- [Tricky] Are we there yet?

- [Bill] Almost Tricky.

- [Corky] The Jingle Jangle Jungle is just ahead.

- [Tricky] I can see it.

Look at all those trees.

- Oh dear, I think they're going to be a problem for us.

- What's the matter Cedric?

- There are so many trees that there's nowhere

for us to land.

- [Tricky] But the boo boo bananas are so close!

- [Corky] What do we do?

- We'll have to use parachutes.

- Parachutes?

- [Corky] I've never used a parachute before.

- [Bill] We'll glide like birds.

- I'm not sure I want to fly like a bird.

- You'll love it Tricky.

- Follow us.

One, two, three!

Whoo!

- One, two, three.

Whoo!

- One, two, three.

Wait for me!

- This is fantastic.

- It's beautiful Bill.

- Being a bird isn't so bad after all.

- [Bill] Watch out for the trees.

We don't want to get...

stuck.

- [Corky] How do we get down?

- What happens if I press this thing?

(screams)

(Corky yells)

(Bill yells)

(loud crashing)

- I see what happens.

That was fun!

- Now what happens?

- Let's get the boo boo bananas!

- Alright Tricky.

You lead the way.

- It's....

This way.

- [Corky] Are you sure you know where you're going Tricky?

- 'Course I do.

We're going this way.

- But, what way is this way?

- Let's look at the map.

- Sorry Bill, I left it in the truck.

- We don't need a map to find boo boo bananas.

I'll follow my troll nose.

- Tricky, wait!

- Too late Bill.

We'd better follow him in, in case he gets lost.

- Tricky!

- Tricky!

Can you hear us?

- I think we've lost him, Corky.

- Oh dear.

We'll never find him in all this jungle.

- [Tricky] Bill, Corky, over here!

- That way Bill!

- [Bill] Coming Tricky!

- There you are.

- Are you alright Tricky?

- I'm better than alright.

Look.

- [Bill] What's that?

- [Corky] The boo boo bananas!

- I told you my troll nose would find them.

Let's get them!

- But Tricky, isn't this the home

of the cheeky squeaky monkeys?

- Huh, say what?

- Shouldn't we ask them first if we can take some bananas?

- We don't need to ask them.

They're not even here.

- But Tricky.

- Come on!

- We'd better go with him Bill.

In case he gets into trouble.

- Right Corky.

- Look at those bananas.

Aren't they just the best you've ever seen?

- All we have to do now is get them.

- They seem to be getting further away.

- Because the tree is growing.

- But trees don't grow that quickly Bill.

- Unless, we're sunk in sticky mud.

(screaming)

- How will we get out?

- We need help.

- But there's no one here to help us.

- Yes there is.

- [Corky] What's that?

- [Bill] I don't know.

I've never seen such a thing.

- [Tricky] I know, I know.

- [Corky] Tell us Tricky.

- [Tricky] It's a cheeky squeaky monkey.

- [Bill] There's three cheeky squeaky monkeys.

- Can you help us please monkeys?

We're stuck.

(monkeys babbling)

- What are they saying?

Will they help us?

- I'm not sure Bill.

- [Tricky] They are helping.

- Grab the vines and we'll pull ourselves up.

(groaning)

- Thank you monkeys.

- We'd never have got out of there without your help.

- We just wanted some boo boo bananas.

Can we have some please?

(monkey babbling)

- I hope we haven't upset them.

- No way.

Look.

Boo boo bananas!

- Thank you monkeys.

- We'll go home now and won't bother you anymore.

- But how will we get home Bill?

- Hmm, I haven't actually thought of that Corky.

- Listen Bill.

- [Bill] That's Cedric's flying machine.

- [Corky] If we get to the top of the trees,

he might be able to pick us up.

- How do we get up there?

(monkeys babbling)

- The cheeky squeaky monkeys will show us the way.

- Follow those monkeys!

- Get ready!

(monkeys babbling)

- And don't worry, these boo boo bananas

are going to a good home.

- There you go, home at last.

- Boo boo bananas, a feast of boo boo bananas.

- There's one thing you haven't told us Tricky.

- Why are the boo boo bananas so important?

- Yes, what do you need them for?

- To eat of course.

For my lunch.

- That's right.

They're delicious.

- But you said something terrible would happen

if you didn't get them.

- I'd be hungry.

- We went through all that trouble,

just so you could have lunch?

- You can have some too.

- I'd better get back to fairly land.

I've got lots of boo boo bananas to eat.

- Well Corky, we went on a great adventure.

- To a place far, far away.

- But next time Tricky wants lunch.

- We're going as far as the fruit shop and no further.

- (laughs) When you're right Corky, you're right.

- [Corky] What's happening today Bill?

- [Bill] We're off to the beach, Corky.

- [Corky] I love adventures at the beach.

- So do I.

And this adventure is called The Egg.

(playful music)

There are lots of things I like about the beach Corky.

But I like one thing most of all.

- What's that?

- I like all the interesting things

you can find on the beach.

- [Corky] Where do they come from, Bill?

- [Bill] The sea washes them in, Corky.

- Maybe we could make something with them.

- Good idea Corky.

Let's use this wood.

- [Corky] Add some of this old rope.

- [Bill] Some pretty seashells.

What have we got Corky?

- [Corky] A windchime Bill.

- It's a beauty.

Let's see what other things we can find.

- There's something over there Bill.

- [Bill] I see it Corky.

It's under that seaweed.

- [Corky] What do you think it is?

- It's smooth and round, and looks like...

- [Corky] An egg!

- It is an egg, Corky.

- I've never seen an egg on the beach before.

- What sort of egg could it be?

- A bird's egg?

- I can't see any nests that the egg came from.

- It could be a turtle's egg.

- I can't see an turtle either Corky.

There's nobody on the beach but us.

(cracking)

- Was that you Bill?

- Not me Corky.

(cracking)

Crickey, something's happening to the egg.

- [Corky] It's cracking!

- [Bill] I hope nothing's wrong.

- Something inside is trying to get out.

- [Bill] It's got a beak!

- [Corky] It's got wings!

- [Bill] It's a baby bird, Corky!

(bird babbles)

- At least we know what sort of egg it was.

- Look, the baby's walking.

He's a pretty good walker for someone who's just been born.

- Maybe too good, Bill.

- How's that?

- [Corky] He's heading for the edge of that sand dune!

- [Bill] Stop little birdie!

(banging) (dramatic music)

- Oh no!

(bird babbling)

- Little bird, little birdie, are you okay?

(bird babbling)

- He doesn't look too good Bill.

- Poor little fella.

He needs our help Corky.

- [Corky] We should take it home Bill,

where it can rest and get well again.

- [Bill] Just what I was thinking.

- We'll need a good box to put it in,

so it can sleep soundly.

Place it in gently Bill.

- Gently it is Corky.

- [Corky] Good work Bill.

- Now it'll be safe and comfy.

- Bill, should we get it some food?

- I think he'll be asleep for a long while yet Corky.

(bird babbling)

- He doesn't look sleepy to me Bill.

Perhaps we should get it some food after all.

(bird babbling)

- I wonder what it eats.

- The first thing we have to work out

is what kind of bird it is.

- I'm not sure Corky.

- I know how to find out.

Our nature book might tell us what sort it is.

- Does the book give us a clue Corky?

- No, no, no.

- It must be somewhere Corky.

- Found it!

And you won't believe this.

- What?

- It's not your usual bird Bill.

- It isn't?

- [Corky] It's a penguin.

- [Bill] A penguin!

The little fella's a long way

from his home in the South Pole.

- Not all penguins live in the South Pole Bill.

It's all here.

Our baby is called a fairy penguin.

- So he is.

You're a fairy penguin.

What do you think about that?

(penguin babbling)

- (laughs) You're a cheeky little penguin, aren't you?

- I think he likes you Bill.

(penguin babbling)

- I think he likes you too Corky.

- (laughs) And I like him.

- Hey, a baby shouldn't be swinging on the curtains.

- You come down little penguin.

This needs a plan Bill.

Ready Bill?

- Ready Corky.

(penguin babbling)

He's very playful Corky.

- [Corky] He sure is that Bill.

- Our very own penguin.

It'll be fun watching him grow up.

- You really think so Bill?

- We'll have a great time together.

- I'm not sure Bill.

(loud crashing)

- Blow me down.

What was that?

- The penguin, where is he?

- [Bill] That noise came from the kitchen, Corky.

- [Corky] And I can guess it was the baby that made it.

- [Bill] Right Corky.

Babies are always hungry.

- [Corky] And baby penguins wouldn't be any different.

- [Bill] So he must be looking for food.

- [Corky] There he is.

- [Bill] Isn't that our supper Corky?

- It was our supper Bill.

- Babies are always hungry Corky,

but I didn't know they were this hungry.

(penguin babbles)

- Now where's he going?

- Follow that baby!

- [Corky] I think he's heading for the bathroom Bill.

- [Bill] It makes sense Corky.

That's where you'll find a good tub of water.

- [Corky] And being a penguin, he'd love the water.

- Spot on Corky.

(playful music)

Will you look at this little fellow Corky?

He sure knows how to have fun.

- Look at the mess he's making.

First the kitchen, now the bathroom.

- We're going to have to teach him

to do the right things, Corky.

- That could take a long time, Bill.

- Then we'd better get started.

- Oh no!

Where's he gone now.

- You can't take your eyes off him for a second.

Paint me pink.

- We shouldn't have left the front door open.

- He could be anywhere.

- Look Bill!

Do you see what I see?

- [Bill] Penguin tracks.

- [Corky] And they're going towards Mrs. Whistlehead's farm.

- Then we're going that way too!

Why would a penguin go to Mrs. Whistlehead's?

- [Corky] We know he likes water.

- [Bill] And the one place at Mrs. Whistlehead's

that has lots of water is...

- [Corky] The duck pond!

- [Bill] Look Corky.

Is our penguin over there?

- [Corky] I don't think so Bill.

They're different birds.

They're Mrs. Whistlehead's ducks.

- You're right.

Excuse us ducks.

We're looking for a friend.

- He's small and has wings.

Have you seen him?

(quacking)

Sounds like they've got a problem.

- And I think I know what the problem is.

- [Corky] It's our baby penguin!

(quacking)

- I don't think the ducks know what to make of him.

- [Corky] And I don't know what our other friend

will make of him either.

- [Bill] What friend is that?

- [Corky] Our friend Mrs. Whistlehead.

- Oh dear.

She's coming this way.

- Hello Bill.

Hello Corky.

- [Both] Hello Mrs. Whistlehead.

- What an odd looking duck that is.

(penguin babbles)

- He's no duck, Mrs. Whistlehead.

- He's a baby penguin.

- Baby penguin!

Well I never.

Shouldn't he be at the South Pole?

- [Bill] Not this penguin, Mrs. Whistlehead.

- [Corky] He's a fairy penguin.

- Well I don't think he can stay here.

My poor ducks will never get to swim in their own pond

with him around.

(quacking)

- We're sorry about your ducks, Mrs. Whistlehead.

- But the penguin needs lots of room to swim.

- And our bathtub wasn't big enough for him.

- He needs the seaside.

That's what he needs.

- The seaside?

But that's where we found him?

We saw him hatch from his egg.

- Then he had an accident.

- He was hurt and lost.

- Are you sure he was lost?

- Well, uh.

- [Mrs. Whistlehead] Perhaps his mother left the egg there

while she went to get some fish for her dinner.

- Do you think so?

- Mrs. Whistlehead might be right Bill.

It'd be terrible if his mother was looking for him

and couldn't find him.

She'd be very worried.

- I hadn't thought of that.

- I think we should go and check.

(penguin babbles)

- Much as we like you little fellow,

we'd better try to take you back to your mum.

(penguin babbles)

- Let's just hope we can find her.

(quacking)

- [Corky] How will we take him to the beach, Bill?

- [Bill] I think we need our beach buggy.

- [Corky] Good idea Bill.

- Right little fella, we're taking you home.

- [Corky] Back to where you really belong.

- There you go.

Now you'll have a nice, comfy ride,

all the way there.

- Ready Bill.

- Then off we go!

(playful music)

Here we are Corky.

- The same place as we found the egg.

(penguin babbles)

- [Bill] He sounds a bit nervous, Corky.

- [Corky] I hope we're doing the right thing.

- What if his mother's not here anymore.

What if she swum away?

(penguin babbles)

- Did you hear that Bill?

- I did.

It came from up the beach.

- That way!

There's something there.

- [Bill] Something that looks very much like our baby.

- [Corky] But a lot bigger.

- It's the baby's mother.

It must be.

(penguins babbling)

He looks excited.

- I think he knows that's his mother.

They're so happy to see each other.

- They sure are.

Looks like Mrs. Whistlehead was right after all.

- [Corky] I'm glad we helped them find each other Bill.

- Me too Corky.

Bye little fellow.

- Bye Mrs. Penguin.

(penguins babbling)

(happy music)

- I'm gonna miss having him around, Corky.

- But he wouldn't have been happy in our home, Bill.

- I suppose not.

- He needs the sea where he can swim and catch lots of fish

and live like a real penguin.

- True Corky.

He's back where he belongs.

- And you should be where you belong,

because that's where you're happy.

- (laughs) When you're right Corky, you're right.
