- [Corky] Are we having an adventure today, Bill?

- [Bill] We most certainly are Corky.

- [Corky] What's the adventure called?

- [Bill] It's called A Day of Surprises.

- This is nice Bill.

- It sure is Corky.

There's nothing better than relaxing in the sunshine.

(both sigh)

- [Mrs. Whistlehead] Bill! Corky!

- [Bill] Who is that?

- [Corky] I'm not sure.

- [Bill] It sounded like somebody we know.

- [Corky] You're right Bill.

We do know her.

It's Mrs. Whistlehead.

- Bill, Corky, I'm so pleased you're home.

- Mrs. Whistlehead, you gave us a surprise.

- A big surprise.

- I've just had a surprise, too.

I'm going to have a surprise visitor.

- Who is it?

- My sister. She's coming to stay with me for a few days.

- That's a wonderful surprise.

- It is, but it does mean I need your help.

- What would you like us to do?

- Come back to the farm and I'll show you.

- Lead the way, Mrs. Whistlehead.

- My sister wants to stay in the old spare cottage.

- That's a lovely little cottage.

- It might look lovely on the outside,

but it needs some repairing.

- We could do that Mrs. Whistlehead.

- We'll have it looking as good as new.

- All it needs is a little paint.

- And a few boards nailed back.

- We'll have it ship-shape by the end of the week.

- No trouble at all.

- But there's another surprise.

- Oh?

- My sister is arriving today.

- [Bill and Corky] Today?!

- I'm going to pick her up right now.

Do you think you can repair things quickly?

- Quick it has to be.

- And quick it will be.

- Thank you so much.

I'll leave you to it then.

- [Bill] Let's have a look inside the cottage, Corky.

- [Corky] And see how much work we've got to do.

- [Bill] It probably just needs a good dusting.

- [Corky] And a little bit of tidying.

- [Bill] Shouldn't take us any time at all.

- Gosh, Bill.

It looks a bit of a mess.

- A big mess, Corky.

(chickens clucking)

- Oh no, look over there!

- There's someone living here.

- Several someones.

- Who are they?

- They're chickens, Bill.

What are we going to do, Bill.

- We'll have to shoo them out.

- Right you are.

- Shoo, chickens, shoo.

Shoo, shoo.

That was as easy as you please, Corky.

- Uh, Bill.

- We'll have no more trouble from those chickens.

- But Bill, look.

(chicken clucking)

- Blow me down.

These chickens are smarter than I thought.

- We need an idea, Bill.

- And I've got one.

Let's get some chicken feed.

- Some delicious tasting chicken feed.

- This will get those chickens out of the cottage.

- And keep them out, too.

- Here chick, chick, chick.

- Look at this chickens.

Delicious feed for you.

(chickens clucking)

- It's all yours little chickies.

Get ready, Corky.

- Ready, Bill.

- And go!

(door slams)

Window shut!

- And door locked.

- Top team work, Corky.

Those chickens can't outsmart us.

- But Bill, I think we have another problem.

- What's that?

- We've locked the chickens out alright.

- Yes?

- But we've locked ourselves in.

- Oh dear, you're right, Corky.

- And all the things we need to clean

and paint the cottage are outside.

- What's that, Corky?

- Is somebody walking on the roof?

- [Bill] Who would be up there?

- You don't think it could be...

- [Both] The chickens?

- We forgot to block up the chimney, Corky.

- Looks like we need another idea, Bill.

- No worries, Corky.

I know what we need. A surprise!

- [Corky] What sort of surprise, Bill?

- [Bill] A surprise for the chickens.

- [Corky] Do chickens like surprises?

- [Bill] Everyone likes surprises.

And the chickens have got to like

this super deluxe chicken coop.

- It looks very nice, Bill.

- It's got every comfort a chicken could wish for.

- How are we going to get them to go in?

- Just do what I do, Corky.

(chickens clucking)

- [Bill] Hey Corky, have you seen

that lovely little house over there?

- [Corky] I sure have, Bill.

It looks really comfy and cozy.

- Keep your voice down, Corky.

We don't want the chickens to find out about it.

- You're right, Bill.

Because they'd want to live there.

- [Bill} We'll keep it a secret, Corky.

- [Corky] Just between ourselves, Bill.

- (whispers) It's working, Bill.

- (whispers) Get ready again, Corky.

And go!

- Good work, Bill.

Now everyone's happy.

- The chickens have got a great new home.

- And we can get on with cleaning the cottage.

- We better be fast about it, Corky.

Mrs. Whistlehead will be back very soon.

- [Bill] It sure is dusty, Corky.

- [Corky] You can say that again, Bill.

- [Bill] Let's clear out all this junk.

(junk crashes)

- That was a big job, Bill.

- Inside looks as clean as a whistle, Corky.

- What about this pile of junk?

What are we going to do with it?

- We need to take the junk for a ride, Bill.

- A ride? Where to, Corky?

- Junk-a-saur Island, of course!

- Great idea! The junk-a-saurs will love it.

- Ready, Bill?

- Ready, Corky.

- To Junk-a-saur Island!

- [Bill] That should be Junk-a-saur Island

straight ahead, Corky.

- [Corky] I hope Jojo and his family are home.

- [Bill] Because they're in for a big surprise.

- [Corky] Lots of tasty junk to eat.

I think I see Jojo, Bill.

- And his mom and dad, too.

- Bill, Corky, welcome back to Junk-a-saur Island.

- [Bill and Corky] Hello Junk-a-saurs!

- This is a great surprise!

- And we've got another surprise for you.

Look at this.

- [Bill] We brought you some old junk.

- Old junk? Yummy!

- That looks delicious.

Thank you so much.

- Where did it all come from?

- From Mrs. Whistlehead's cottage.

We've been cleaning out the old junk

so her sister can stay.

- We're going to replace it with some nice furniture.

- Nice furniture?

We can help you there.

- You can?

- [Jojo] Our cousin Jimbo gave us all this new furniture.

- [Dad] But we can't eat it.

- [Jojo] New furniture tastes terrible.

- [Mom] We only like eating old things.

- Wow, Bill. Look at all this lovely furniture.

- It's perfect for Mrs. Whistlehead's cottage.

- Thanks Mr. And Mrs. Junk-a-saur.

- Are you sure you don't need it?

- Definitely. Nice things give us tummy aches.

- Right then.

We better get this furniture back to the cottage.

- We've still got lots to do

before Mrs. Whistlehead's sister arrives.

This furniture's really heavy.

Do you think the helicopter can carry it okay?

- No worries, Corky.

This helicopter can carry anything.

- Oh no, Bill.

We're in trouble.

- We need extra power, Corky. Hold on!

- Bill, the furniture!

It's dropped out!

- It's headed straight for the cottage.

- Oh dear! What do we do now?

- I don't know, Corky.

But whatever it is, we better land and do it quick.

I hope some of the furniture is still alright.

- I can hardly bare to look, Bill.

- You won't believe it, Corky.

- Is it really bad, Bill?

- See for yourself.

- Everything's in the right place.

What a surprise!

- It sure is, Corky.

- There's just one problem, Bill.

- What's that?

- Mrs. Whistlehead will be very unhappy about that hole.

- We'll soon have that fixed with

a ladder, a hammer, and a few nails.

(chickens clucking)

- This is an excellent roof, Bill.

- There. Finished.

- Just in the nick of time, Bill.

Here comes Mrs. Whistlehead.

- Bill, Corky, I'd like to introduce my sister,

Mrs. Tubetop.

- [Both] Pleased to meet you Mrs. Tubetop.

- It's a pleasure to meet you Bill and Corky.

- It looks like you've been working hard on the cottage.

- We sure have Mrs. Whistlehead.

We hope you like it.

- It looks great from the outside.

- Just wait until you see the inside.

It's even better.

- How exciting!

- How's this for a surprise?

(chickens clucking)

- Bill, Corky, what's happened here?

- Umm. - Uhh.

- You see? - Well...

- This is incredible.

- We're sorry Mrs. Tubetop, honestly.

- How did you know that I love chickens?

- [Both] You do?

- What a lovely surprise?!

- [Both] It is?

- This is going to be an excellent holiday.

- We're glad you think so Mrs. Tubetop.

- And now, I've got a surprise for you.

- [Both] A surprise for us?!

- A basket of fresh fruit.

I hope you like it.

- We love fruit!

- It's our favorite food!

- Here. You hold it while we go

and say hello to these beautiful chickens.

- It's been a real day of surprises, Bill.

- It sure has Corky.

- As much as I love surprises,

I hope that for the rest of the day

we can have nice, quiet rest.

- When you're right, Corky, you're right.

- [Corky] What's our adventure about today, Bill?

- [Bill] I don't think we've got time

for an adventure, Corky.

It's spring cleaning time.

- [Corky] But we always have an adventure, Bill.

- [Bill] Alright then, we will have one.

It's called No Kidding.

(phone ringing)

- Is that the phone?

- That's the phone alright.

But where is it?

- It's not here, Bill.

- It must be here somewhere.

- Try that box, Bill.

- You're right, Corky.

Bottle Top Bill speaking.

(squeaking)

Farmer Sam, what can we do for you?

(squeaking)

Look after your kids?

Sure thing Sam.

We'll be right over.

- What's up Bill?

- Farmer Sam wants us to look after his kids

while he goes to the market.

- I love kids.

- So do I, Corky.

And the kids will love these.

- What are they?

- My old coloring pens and loads of paper.

- Ready, Corky?

- Let's go, Bill.

Farmer Sam, here we come.

- [Corky] Why is Farmer Sam going to the market?

- [Bill] To sell all the fruit

he's picked from his orchard.

- [Corky] Is that why he's using his tractor?

- [Bill] That's it Corky.

So he can cart all those boxes of beautiful red apples.

- [Corky] I bet those apples are delicious, Bill.

- [Bill] Farmer Sam grows the tastiest apples around, Corky.

- (horn beeps)

- Where did Sam say he'd meet us?

- He should be right here.

- Bill, Corky, thanks for helping me out this morning.

- It's a pleasure, Sam.

- Now you're sure you'll be alright looking after the kids?

- We love kids, Sam.

- We can hardly wait to play with them.

- Where are they?

- [Sam] I keep them in a pen beside the shed.

- [Bill] The kids are in a pen?

- [Sam] A good, strong one so they can't get out.

- I think Sam means a play pen, Bill.

- This looks a lot bigger than a play pen, Corky.

How many kids do you have here, Sam?

- Just the two.

- Where are they?

- That's them there.

- [Corky] I can't see any kids.

Can you, Bill?

- [Bill] Not really.

- [Corky] But I can see something else.

- [Bill] And there's two of them.

- [Corky] And they don't look like children to me.

- There not children, Corky.

- They're kids.

- Baby goats!

(goats bleat)

- Gosh, how do we look after them?

- Easy, just make sure they stay in the pen.

- That sounds simple enough.

- Right, then. I'd better get going.

- Bye, Sam.

- Enjoy playing with the kids!

- These are the first kids I've ever seen, Corky.

- They look so cute, Bill.

- Hey, give that back!

- I think they like your coloring pens, Bill.

- We'll see about that.

Those are for drawing, not for eating.

(goats bleat)

- No damage done, but those kids have given me an idea.

(goats bleat)

I'm gonna draw a picture of Sam's shed.

- What about the kids, Bill?

- They're safe in their pen, Corky.

Come on, let's go and sit by that tree.

(goats bleat)

This looks like the perfect spot to draw a picture.

- Maybe you can draw the kids, too, Bill.

- Good idea, Corky.

Where exactly are the kids?

- Oh no! Bill, you forgot to latch the gate properly.

- Don't tell me they've escaped.

(goats bleat)

Quick, Corky!

- They've disappeared.

- We've got to find them or Farmer Sam will be very cross.

- But they could be anywhere.

- [Bill] We'll need some help, Corky.

- [Corky] What sort of help, Bill?

- [Bill] Our helicopter.

It's fast and will help us spot them from the air.

- [Corky] Good thinking.

Let's find those kids, Bill.

- Any sign of them?

- Not yet, Bill.

Wait a second! Look down there!

- I see them, Corky.

That's our kids alright.

- [Corky] And they're heading toward Cedric the Scientist.

(goats bleat)

- Don't worry, Corky.

We'll fly ahead and get there first.

- [Corky] Cedric's not in his laboratory today.

He's in the field building a new experiment.

- [Bill] What's he building?

- [Corky] I don't know, but it's very big.

- [Bill] I can see it, Corky.

It looks like a plane.

- [Corky] Not a plane, Bill, a rocket ship.

- Wow!

Come on Corky. Let's see if we can find Cedric.

- Right behind you Bill.

- Marvelous! My new rocket ship's ready

for it's first trip into outer space.

- Cedric!

- Cedric! Hello!

- Goodness, me.

Bill and Corky, what are you doing here?

- We need your help, Cedric.

- It's an emergency.

- Of course I'll help.

Just as soon as I've launched my rocket.

- [Corky] What's this, Cedric?

- [Cedric] It's my control panel.

- [Corky] For controlling the rocket ship in outer space.

- [Cedric] Precisely, Corky.

- It's a great panel, Cedric.

- It's my latest design.

Now, let's get ready for blast off.

(goats bleat)

First we close the hatch.

- [Corky] Hatch closed.

- Now we start the engines.

- [Bill] Engines started.

- And blast off!

- [Corky] Off she goes!

- All we have to do now is wave goodbye

to those two little goats in the window.

- [Both] Two little goats?!

(goats bleat)

- Dear me. What are they doing on my rocket?

They're not supposed to be there.

- Quick, Cedric, bring the rocket back to earth.

- I'm sorry!

The rocket's programmed to go

to the Odd Socks galaxy to take some photographs.

Only then can it come home.

- [Bill] Will it take very long?

- [Cedric] Not long at all.

Just a few hours.

- [Both] A few hours?!

- Yes, that gives me time to help you with your emergency.

What is it?

- Those two kids inside the rocket ship.

We have to take them back to Farmer Sam's.

- Hmm. I might be able to make the rocket

go in super duper sonic speed.

- Great!

- Yes, this one.

They should get to the Odd Socks galaxy any moment now.

- [Corky] What's so important

about the Odd Socks galaxy anyway, Cedric?

- [Cedric] It's the only galaxy

of it's kind in the universe.

- [Bill] And you want to photograph it

for scientific research.

- Not really.

The planets are so pretty,

I thought they'd make nice pictures for my living room.

- Oh.

- Are they there yet?

- [Cedric] I'm sure they must be.

(goats bleat)

Now, to activate my camera.

- [Bill] Do you think the camera will work, Cedric?

- [Cedric] Oh yes, I tested it for weeks.

- [Corky] Will it take long to get the photographs?

- [Cedric] Just a few seconds. That's all.

- I hope you're right, Cedric.

Farmer Sam will be on his way home soon.

- And we have to be there with those kids to meet him.

- Starting photography, now.

This is no good. No good at all.

- What's the matter, Cedric?

- The camera has come loose.

Let me look inside the rocket ship to see what's wrong.

- [Corky] Look, there's the kids.

- [Cedric] And there's the problem.

They're chewing the cable that controls my camera.

- This is a catastrophe.

- Hang on everyone.

I've got an idea.

Cedric, do you have any pens and paper on board the rocket?

- Yes, they're in a cupboard.

- Can you open the cupboard?

- Of course.

(goats bleat)

- What's the idea, Corky?

- We know how much they liked your pens and paper.

Maybe they'll like Cedric's pen and paper, too.

- [Bill] Tough thinking, Corky.

It's worked.

- And now my camera should work, too.

(camera shutters)

Marvelous. I have all the pictures I need.

- Then let's bring them home Cedric.

- Home it is.

- [Bill] How long before they're back, Cedric?

- [Cedric] Only moments, Bill.

Better get ready.

- You wouldn't have an old box we can borrow, Cedric.

- Certainly, Corky.

You'll find one over by the laboratory.

- Excellent! Thanks.

- Ready Corky?

- Ready Cedric!

(button beeps)

(goats bleat)

- Got you!

- Brilliant work, brilliant work indeed.

(goats bleat)

- Right kids. Time to go home.

- And let's hope we make it before Farmer Sam does.

Bye, Cedric.

- Thanks a lot.

- Anytime Bill and Corky, anytime indeed.

- Here, that should do it.

- No getting out this time kids.

- You're as safe and sound as can be.

(goats bleat)

- And best of all, Bill, we made it back before Farmer Sam.

- But only just, Corky.

Here he comes now.

- Bill, Corky, how did you go?

- No trouble at all, Sam.

- How were the kids?

- They were, uh, how were they, Corky?

- They were fun!

- Yes, that's it.

They were fun Sam.

- Ah, that's good, because I brought you some more.

- [Both] More kids?!

- [Sam] I brought them back from the market.

- [Bill] And uh, what are they like?

- [Sam] They're great fun.

You'll really like playing with them.

- [Corky] They don't look much like goats Sam.

They're not goats, they're children.

- [Both] Children?!

- My niece and nephew.

They always come back here after market day.

- Hooray!

- Well Corky, we've had a morning with goat kids,

now it looks like an afternoon with human kids.

(laughs) (goats bleat)

- [Corky] It looks like the human kids

can look after the goat kids better than we can, Bill.

- [Bill] It sure does.

(goats bleat)

- [Corky] You know what Bill?

- What corky?

- Next time we're spring cleaning and the phone rings,

I think we should just leave it in the box.

- (chuckles) When you're right, Corky, you're right.

(goats bleat)
