10x31 - The Grass-Type Is Always Greener!

NARRATOR: Traveling through Eterna Forest, our heroes came

across Cheryl, a treasure hunter in search of the Amber Castle,

which is said to contain the powerful Enchanted Honey!

NARRATOR: Cheryl's plan was to catch a Burmy and evolve it into

a Mothim who could lead her to the Castle, which then became

Team Rocket's plan as well! A fierce battle ensued, during

which our heroes provided able assistance in returning the

previously mild-mannered Burmy to its rightful owner. And it

was precisely this fierce battling that allowed Cheryl's

plan to come to fruition; causing her Burmy to evolve into

the Mothim she so desired!

Soon after, Mothim seemed to sense something and quickly took

off, with Cheryl and our heroes in hot pursuit!

CHERYL: Then that means we must've finally discovered the

Enchanted Honey!

DAWN: Hold on. This place looks awfully familiar to me...

ASH: You're right! Cheryl,

isn't that the tree you put the Honey on before?

CHERYL: Well, what do you know! Small world isn't it?

BROCK: It's getting late.

Why don't we pick up on this tomorrow?

NARRATOR: Good advice, Brock. Perhaps a good night's sleep is

just what everyone needs, as Eterna Forest is a big place,

and finding the Enchanted Honey is looking like an even

bigger job!

MOTHIM: [EXCITED]

CHERYL: My Mothim seems to be so excited about something this

morning, and there's no doubt in my mind it's got to be about the

Enchanted Honey!

MOTHIM: [EAGER]

ASH: So let's get moving!

PIKACHU: [AGREEING]

CHERYL: Oh dear! Oh my!

BROCK: You all right, Cheryl?

CHERYL: Sure! I'm doing just fine!

DAWN: Fine? Sure could've fooled me.

DAWN: I'll say one thing.she sure knows how to make the best

out of an awkward moment!

ASH: Now! Turtwig cut the vines with Razor Leaf!

TURTWIG: [APPEARING] / [RAZOR LEAF MOVE]

BROCK: I've got you!

TURTWIG, PIKACHU: [CONCERNED]

ASH: I'm really sorry about that, Kakuna!

KAKUNA: [CONSOLING]

CHERYL: Things just got a bit out of control.

BROCK: Yeah, but it was fun.

MOTHIM: [EXCITED]

CHERYL: That's Mothim's cry!

BROCK: I'll bet you Mothim's found something this time!

ASH, CHERYL, DAWN, BROCK, PIKACHU, TURTWIG: [PANTING]

PIKACHU: [SURPRISED]

ASH: Wait a minute! I don't see any Amber Castle!

CHERYL: Mothim dear, so where's the Enchanted Honey?

MOTHIM: [DIVING]

GLOOM: [SURPRISED]

DAWN: Who's that Pokémon?

GARDENIA: It's Gloom, the Weed Pokémon! It gives off a powerful

aroma that can cause those who smell it to faint from

two miles away!

GLOOM: [GREETING]

DAWN: Wow! That must be a strong smell.

MOTHIM: [EXCITED] GLOOM: [DARTING]

GLOOM: [FRIGHTENED]

BROCK: That's got to be the worst stench ever!

CHERYL: A Gloom secretes nectar too, so I guess poor

Mothim just made a mistake!

PIKACHU, TURTWIG: [REVOLTED]

GARDENIA: Aw! I really wanted to catch it, but too late!

GARDENIA: You're a cutie, too!

ASH: Uh.

GARDENIA: Hey, is this your Turtwig?

ASH: Yup!

GARDENIA: What a great Pokémon!

ASH: You're right, and thanks!

I'm Ash, and it's nice to meet you! See, Turtwig and I are

training hard to get ready for my Eterna Gym Battle,

and are we psyched!

GARDENIA: My name's Gardenia! I'm really into getting myself

Grass-type Pokémon. That's why I came out here!

BROCK: I'm Brock and I'm sure nothing would chase away my

gloom but to search for your Gloom together!

BROCK: Or not.your call.

CROAGUNK: [CHUCKLING]

GARDENIA: Hey Ash! I know!

GARDENIA: Let's you and I have a battle! Yeah! Sound good?

ASH: That sounds good to me!

DAWN: But, Ash, we're right in the middle of our search!

CHERYL: It's all right. I think it'd be fun!

CHERYL: You go right ahead and have yourselves a nice time!

ASH: Thanks Cheryl. That's great!

GARDENIA: I'll use my Cherubi to start off. And now that I think

of it, Eterna City Gym Leader is a Grass-type Trainer as well!

ASH: Then that means having a battle with you right now's

going to be awesome training!

JAMES: Although occasionally draining, it appears the best

way to procure Enchanted Honey is to stick to the

Twerps like glue!

JESSIE: If you had stuck to them like glue, we wouldn't be

wandering aimlessly trying to fix being Twerp-less

and Honey-less!

MEOWTH: The Twerps have to be here somewhere,

so we'll find them!

JESSIE: I hate litterbugs!

MEOWTH: Those're Kakuna, Jess!

BEEDRILL GROUP: [EVOLVING]

MEOWTH: Which evolved into Beedrill!

JESSIE, JAMES, MEOWTH: Gangway!

BEEDRILL GROUP: [ATTACKING]

ASH: You're going to see just how great my Turtwig really is!

GARDENIA: Believe me Ash, I know a great Turtwig when I see

it! Okay if we go with two Pokémon?

ASH: Sure!

GARDENIA: Cherubi, let's go!

CHERUBI: [APPEARING]

DAWN: Wow! So cute!

POKEDEX: Cherubi. The Cherry Pokémon. All of the nutrients

needed for evolution are contained in its small ball.

Cherubi becomes redder as it is exposed to sunlight, and is

almost ready to evolve once the smaller ball buds.

ASH: Turtwig, let's start with Tackle! Go!

TURTWIG: [TACKLE MOVE]

CHERUBI: [PAINED]

ASH: Way to go, Turtwig! Now Razor Leaf!

TURTWIG: [RAZOR LEAF MOVE]

CHERUBI: [FRIGHTENED]

TURTWIG, CHERUBI: [ATTACKING][EVADING]

GARDENIA: Oh man, Ash's Turtwig is super fast! My kind

of Pokémon! Cherubi return!

CHERUBI: [RETURNING]

TURTWIG: [QUESTIONING]

GARDENIA: Your Turtwig's one of the best I've ever seen!

- ASH: It's not so bad. - DAWN: Boy that was quick!

BROCK: Guess she was just checking it out.

PIKACHU: [APPREHENSIVE]

GARDENIA: Now this battle gets real! Come on out!

TURTWIG: [SHOCKED]

GARDENIA'S TURTWIG: [APPEARING][GREETING]

DAWN: She's got a Turtwig, too!

PIKACHU: [SURPRISED]

ASH: Hey this is starting to get interesting around here,

so let's show off some speed! Tackle, go!

GARDENIA: Now, that's fast!

TURTWIG: [ACCELERATING] GARDENIA: Just not fast enough!

TURTWIG: [SURPRISED]

GARDENIA'S, TURTWIG: [BRAGGING ]

ASH: Turtwig should have made contact!

CHERYL: That other Turtwig moves!

BROCK: If her Turtwig got out of the way that quickly, look out!

ASH: Turtwig, use Tackle one more time!

TURTWIG: [AFFIRMATIVE]

GARDENIA'S TURTWIG: [CONFIDENT]

TURTWIG: [GROAN]

GARDENIA: Now use Leech Seed!

GARDENIA'S TURTWIG: [LEECH SEED MOVE]

TURTWIG: [STRUGGLING]

BROCK: Turtwig's power is being drained!

ASH: Shake it off!

TURTWIG: [PAINED]

GARDENIA: Now use Tackle!

GARDENIA'S TURTWIG: [TACKLE MOVE]

TURTWIG: [GROAN]

ASH: Turtwig!

BROCK: Looks like Ash's Turtwig is unable to go on!

CHERYL: No wonder with Gardenia's Turtwig

being so strong!

ASH: Turtwig, return!

ASH: You were just great!

BROCK: Gardenia's Turtwig didn't move around much,

but when it did, it was fast!

BROCK: I'd say, over all it was faster than Ash's Turtwig.

ASH: I'll show you fast... Gardenia, our battle isn't over

just yet!

GARDENIA: I know!

ASH: Okay Staravia! I choose you!

STARAVIA: [APPEARING]

ASH: I don't care how fast that Turtwig is, it can't match the

speed of a flying Staravia!

BROCK: Flying types do have the

advantage over Grass types, but...

DAWN: But?

BROCK: There's more than one way to win a battle!

PIKACHU: [CONCERNED]

ASH: All right, Wing att*ck, go!

STARAVIA: [WING att*ck MOVE]

GARDENIA'S TURTWIG: [EVADING]

your Staravia's speed!

ASH: Hey, you got to be kidding me!

ASH: Is she serious? Okay, let's give them Aerial Ace right now!

STARAVIA: [AERIAL ACE]

ASH: There's no way her Turtwig's going to be able to

outrun this dive b*mb!

DAWN: But Gardenia was running things the whole time!

CHERYL: I'm really sorry that you lost, Ash.

BROCK: Wow, Gardenia's a tough one!

CHERYL: My name is Cheryl. And that was some battle just now!

GARDENIA: Thanks Cheryl! That's some Mothim you've got!

MOTHIM: [FRIENDLY] GARDENIA: Your moth scales tickle!

CHERYL: You shouldn't get too close to strangers, Mothim dear!

MOTHIM: [FLUTTERING]

ASH: First Turtwig loses and then Staravia! The Eterna Gym's

going to be tough.

PIKACHU: [ENCOURAGING]

ASH: You think? Special training, huh?

PIKACHU: [OPTIMISTIC]

GARDENIA: Enchanted Honey? Really?

CHERYL: Really! They say that the Honey's located in the Amber

Castle, which is somewhere in this forest.

GARDENIA: Yeah, I remember hearing that too!

CHERYL: Then it's true!

GARDENIA: How come you're looking for the honey in the

first place?

CHERYL: My grandfather was a great treasure hunter

.many long years ago.

CHERYL: But after all of his success, after all the wonderful

treasures he managed to add to his collection, the only one he

failed to find was the Enchanted Honey.

CHERYL: So I swore I'd find it. I'm on a mission!

GARDENIA: I'd love to help you! If we all work together,

we'll find it for sure! Now first off, you know that

Enchanted Honey is made out of the nectar that

- Combee gather, right? - CHERYL: Right!

GARDENIA, : I come here to Eterna Forest a lot trying to

capture Grass-type Pokémon. Well there's a place where Pomeg

plants grow, and there's also a huge Combee Wall right there!

CHERYL: What do you mean Combee Wall?

GARDENIA, : A Combee Wall is where the Combee gather up all

their nectar, but I've never seen one as big as this one

before! I'm sure it's worth us going and having a look!

And maybe there we can find a few clues!

ASH: Yeah! That makes a lot of sense to me! That Enchanted

Honey might just be near that Combee Wall!

BROCK: First thing in the morning, let's go!

CHERYL: Oh, I can't wait to see all those Pomeg flowers

in full bloom!

GARDENIA: Hey, I know Eterna Forest like the back of my hand,

so I'll take you there!

CHERYL: I don't want to be a bother.

GARDENIA: Hey, come on! Don't forget, I came out of nowhere

and begged Ash to battle me right?

CHERYL: Of course! It's just like grandpa said!

CHERYL: Witness a good Pokémon battle, and something good

always happens!

MEOWTH: Being bandaged up stinks in this heat.

JESSIE: Of course I know the Enchanted Honey is sweet!

I may be stung but I'm not stupid!

JAMES: Our present condition argues strongly against that

assumption I'm afraid.

JESSIE: Look, mummy mouth. The fact remains that Enchanted

Honey makes for enchanted bank accounts!

MEOWTH: Zip it and listen!

MEOWTH: I think I hear Twerps through the trees!

JAMES, JESSIE: Then be quiet please!

GARDENIA: Hmm. I'm sure of it! We're getting close.

Yes! I'm sure of it!

CHERYL: You'll let us know if you smell any Pomeg flowers,

won't you Mothim?

MOTHIM: [AFFIRMATIVE]

JESSIE: Get up, butter bandages!

ASH: What's that?

JESSIE: Listen! Is that confusion I hear?

JAMES: Through tape, it speaks loud and clear.

- JESSIE: On the wind! - JAMES: Past the stars!

MEOWTH: In your ear!

JESSIE: Bringing chaos at a breakneck pace!

JAMES: Dashing hope, putting fear in its place!

ESSIE: A rose by any other name's just as sweet!

JAMES: When everything's worse, our work is complete!

- JESSIE: Jessie! - JAMES: And James!

MEOWTH: Meowth, that's a name!

JESSIE: Putting the do-gooders in their place!

JAMES: Team Rocket!

JAMES: It's Mothim-catching time! Go Carnivine!

JAMES, CARNIVINE: [APPEARING]

GARDENIA: You gorgeous Grass type!

MEOWTH: What a wack!

GARDENIA: You raised it so well!

GARDENIA: How would you like to trade your Carnivine for

- my Bellossom? - JAMES: No, thank you!

GARDENIA: All right. In that case, how about my Vileplume?

JAMES,CARNIVINE: I'm tied up at the moment.

Could you come back later?

GARDENIA: Come on! The least you can do is show your face! There!

JAMES: Ow! My hair!

GARDENIA: Oh, please trade with me!

BROCK: You don't want to mess with those guys!

ASH: They're Team Rocket!

DAWN: And those guys are the bad guys!

GARDENIA: That can't be true!

GARDENIA: There's no way!

DAWN, ASH, BROCK, PIKACHU: [SHOCKED]

GARDENIA: Okay, if my Bellossom and Vileplume aren't exactly

what you're looking for, then would you be interested

JAMES: Ah, nothing like a Victreebel scalp massage.

MEOWTH: I think you got bit one too many times!

JESSIE: Now hear this! We have a Mothim to catch and some

Enchanted Honey to hoard, so get on board!

CHERYL: That's not nice at all!

MOTHIM: [AGREEING]

JESSIE: Look! If you want something that's nice, warm,

fuzzy, and furry then go catch a Pichu!

JAMES: Okay Carnivine, use Bite!

CARNIVINE: [BITE MOVE]

GARDENIA: What a powerful Pokémon!

GARDENIA: And affectionate too!

BROCK: Don't worry! I'll get you out of there!

DAWN: I wouldn't hold my breath!

GARDENIA: Wow, what a grip! You're such a hunk!

JAMES: Spit the Twerp out right now!

CARNIVINE: [SPITTING]

BROCK: Are you all right?

CHERYL: Gardenia I can't believe you went through everything you

just did to save my Mothim for me!

GARDENIA: Mothim? You've got a Mothim, do you?

DAWN: She's really got it bad, doesn't she?

JESSIE: Aren't we overdue for some sort of machine?

MEOWTH: We're out of money!

JESSIE: That's no excuse!

MEOWTH: The thing is.you got that manicure for the contest,

and you still got nice nails to show for it!

JESSIE: I'm wearing gloves now!

JESSIE: Seviper, let's go!

SEVIPER: [APPEARING]

JAMES: Cacnea, you too!

CACNEA: [APPEARING]

GARDENIA: Oh wow, you're just as gorgeous as that Carnivine!

JAMES: No.not again!

- CHERYL: What's that? - BROCK: Look out!

MOTHIM: [SHOCK]

CHERYL: They've got Mothim! Oh no!

MOTHIM: [STRUGGLING]

GARDENIA: Turtwig, use Leech Seed on that thing! Let's go!

GARDENIA'S TURTWIG: [LEECH SEED MOVE]

CHERYL: Gardenia!

GARDENIA: Now's our chance to help Mothim!

CHERYL: Right! Mothim, come quickly!

MOTHIM: [RELIEVED]

CHERYL: Mothim!

ASH: Okay, Pikachu, Thunderbolt! Let's go!

PIKACHU: [THUNDERBOLT MOVE]

JAMES: Oh for one Victreebel scalp massage!

JESSIE: Or a brain transplant!

JAMES: My memories of Victreebel are fond indeed!

JESSIE: Fond for who?

MEOWTH: You may not remember them for much longer.

JESSIE, JAMES, MEOWTH: We're blasting off again!

GARDENIA: Wow, I had no idea that a Pikachu could be so

well-trained and strong!

ASH: Thanks, Gardenia!

PIKACHU: [FLATTERED]

GARDENIA: Hey! I know!

GARDENIA: Nothing! Just forget it!

CHERYL: Gardenia, because of you, my Mothim escaped the evil

clutches of Team Rocket's grip!

GARDENIA: Hey I'm always happy to help a treasure hunter

although I do go a bit overboard. When I see a

Grass-type Pokémon, I kind of lose it!

MOTHIM: [CALLING]

CHERYL: It's Mothim! I think something big's going on!

MOTHIM: [EXCITED] ASH: Quick! Let's go!

BROCK, CHERYL, ASH, GARDENIA, DAWN, PIKACHU: [CHASING]

ASH, CHERYL, GARDENIA, DAWN, BROCK, PIKACHU: [RUNNING]

MOTHIM: [ALERTING]

DAWN: Look! Mothim found Pomeg flowers!

MOTHIM: [EXCITED]

ASH: So the Honey must be near here!

NUZLEAF: [GREETING] ASH: Hey, look! It's a Nuzleaf!

GARDENIA: It's all right! It's a messenger Nuzleaf!

DAWN: Messenger Nuzleaf?

NUZLEAF: [OFFERING]

GARDENIA: Sorry, but there's been an emergency, and I have to

leave right now!

CHERYL: All right, good luck and thank you once again for all

your amazing help in getting back my Mothim!

GARDENIA: And good luck with your search in finding the

Enchanted Honey.wherever it is!

- CHERYL: Thanks! - GARDENIA: See you! Bye!

GARDENIA, NUZLEAF, TURTWIG: [RUNNING]

BROCK: Wow, she showed up just like a freight train and left

like one, too!

DAWN: She sure is wild.

CHERYL: Just think! We might be just a few steps away from

discovering the Enchanted Honey!

ASH: Yeah! So it's a great time to knuckle down and find it!

MOTHIM: [CALLING]

MOTHIM: [EXCITED]

CHERYL: Ash I think you're right, because look how excited

Mothim's getting!

MOTHIM: [ECSTATIC]

COMBEE: [GREETING]

BROCK: Look! A Combee!

COMBEE: [GUIDING]

DAWN: The Enchanted Honey's got to be close by, so let's go!

ASH: And let's hurry!

PIKACHU: [EXCITED]

NARRATOR: Emotions are running at a fever pitch, as our heroes

appear to be on the verge of a sweet discovery! But is the

Enchanted Honey real? Or fantasy? The enchanted answer

lies just ahead!
