and that's saying quite a lot!

Our cameras are there as Pokémon and Trainers are already

starting to gather for the event!

RHONDA: And no one knows what kind of Egg it is!

RHONDA: Before we get things moving,

let's have a few opening words from our distinguished judges:

and our head judge and main man for tonight, Mister Sukizo!

NURSE JOY: Let the world be joined together as we are!

JENNY: Sharing all the joys of Dressing-Up!

SUKIZO: Right Remarkable!

- SUKIZO: Remarkable! - JOY: Remarkable!

BROCK: What I wouldn't give to be in Suziko's place!

DAWN: Sinnoh's Pokémon Dress-Up Contest is so popular it ends up

ranking number one in the ratings every season!

ASH: Cool! Can't wait to see it! PIKACHU: [EXCITED]

NARRATOR: The road to the Eterna City Gym is full of surprises,

and today's is proving to be an exciting and joyous one,

as our heroes stop off along the way to witness

a Pokémon Dress-Up Contest, where Pokémon are judged

on how well they can imitate other Pokémon!

RHONDA: Now, let's get to our registration cam

and see how things are going out front!

JESSIE: Are we going out live? Some of y'all know me

as the sultry actress Katharine Jessiburn, yes?

And as the only professional actress

as far as the trained eye can see,

I intend to win this bad boy with talent as well as style!

WOBBUFFET: [AFFIRMATIVE]

RHONDA: Uh, excuse me but only Pokémon

can register for this contest

JESSIE: No way! No me? No fair!

But this was a golden opportunity for me to share my

second-to-none acting ability with the rest of the T.V. world!

RHONDA: Hey don't I know you? You look an awful lot like

another aspiring actress we had a run in with before!

JAMES: You must be thinking of another yahoo!

We're just contest greenhorns,

though Mime Jr.'s going to win the whole shebang!

JESSIE: What? The nerve!

Of course The real winner will be my Meowth!

- MEOWTH: Me? - JACK: Sorry

RHONDA: Well, wouldn't you know? It's time for a commercial!

and I'd love to win that Pokémon Egg too, you know?

- BROCK: That would be great! - DAWN: A Pokémon Egg...

BROCK: The awesome feeling that you get when your Pokémon Egg

finally hatches is something you just can't put into words!

BROCK: Not only that!

BROCK: Yup! Girls love a guy with an Egg!

I'm right behind you buddy!

ASH: Here's to winning that Pokémon Egg!

DAWN: Hold it, boys

ASH: Is there a problem or something, Dawn?

DAWN: You need to choose which Pokémon to enter you know.

DAWN: Rule is, in a Dress-Up Contest,

it's just one Pokémon per Coordinator!

ASH: Just one Pokémon, huh?

TURTWIG: [RESPONDING]

ASH: Let's see. Maybe Aipom?

No, no! What about you?

STARAVIA: [RESPONDING]

ASH: Man! It's too hard to dress them up

to look like other Pokémon!

PIKACHU: [CONFIDENT]

ASH: Are you saying you want to give it a sh*t?

It's not enough just to change your color a little bit

so you look like a Raichu or a Pichu remember

PIKACHU: [IMPERSONATION]

ASH: Cool! Wobbuffet!

- ASH: Loudred! - DAWN: Wow, Pikachu's awesome!

BROCK: If you can get people to guess which Pokémon you are

just by facial expressions or copying its shape,

you'll make big points!

ASH: Wow, I think you could end up winning the whole thing!

ASH: Pikachu You're it!

PIKACHU: [PROUD]

DAWN: Okay, Piplup, you're it too!

PIPLUP: [ELATED]

BROCK: Let's see... I choose Croagunk!

SUDOWOODO: [DEVESTATED] / [APPROVING]

CROAGUNK: [INDIFFERENT]

RHONDA: Wow! It takes some skill

to do an imitation of the Legendary Pokémon Suicune!

- JOY: Beautiful work! - JENNY: Convincing!

SUKIZO: Remarkable!

RHONDA: That's Swalot in a Grimer suit!

This one may bring a split decision, but we'll see!

SUKIZO: Sadly, not remarkable.

RHONDA: Better luck next time!

KOFFING: [DISAPPOINTED]

WEEPINBELL: [ELATED]

RHONDA: Brock with Croagunk!

MEOWTH: Weavile!

JESSIE: Who knew?

RHONDA: What a perfect Weavile imitation!

If I didn't know better, I'd say Weavile was standing right here!

JESSIE: Thank you! But y'all ain't seen nothing yet!

My mega-marvie, multi-faceted Meowth can imitate any Pokémon

under the sun! You go on ahead and sh**t off that mouth!

- MEOWTH: Sure!... Meow. - JESSIE: Pikachu!

- MEOWTH: Pika! - JESSIE: Piplup!

- MEOWTH: Piplup! - JESSIE: Bulbasaur!

- MEOWTH: Bul! - JESSIE: Togepi!

- MEOWTH: Togepi! - JESSIE: Geodude!

- MEOWTH: Dude! - JESSIE: Squirtle!

JESSIE: And Sudowoodo as a gift!

JAMES: Get ready to witness multiple personalities

with just a flick of the wrist!

JAMES: Sweet! And next Use Razor Leaf, Chikorita!

MIME JR.: [IMITATING]

RHONDA: Now there's a powerful entry by a newcomer

using a whole new kind of Pokémon Dress-Up!

RHONDA: And now, next up, our winner from last year,

the singing Chatot!

CHATOT: [SINGING]

RHONDA: Next, it's Piplup dressed up as Weedle with Dawn!

PIPLUP: [GREETING]

FANS: [TOUCHED]

PIPLUP: [CHANTING]

- SUKIZO: Remarkable! - DAWN: Thanks!

Wow Piplup, you're a hit!

PIPLUP: [ELATED] [BUBBLE BEAM MOVE]

RHONDA: Oops! Weedle can't use Bubble Beam!

RHONDA: Let's go to our next entry! A shape-copying Pikachu?

Now there's something you don't see every day.

It sounds like a lot of fun!

ASH: Hey! Thanks! Ready for shape copying? Seviper!

Wobbuffet! Buneary! Mudkip!

Lotad! Loudred!

Wow. They like it!

RHONDA: Amazing!

We've got a great Contest this year! One of the best ever!

RHONDA: We're going to announce the big winner

right after our break!

So don't touch that dial! We're a hit! You too!

JAMES: Hooray! A Mime Jr. genius! We're in it to win big!

JESSIE: Oh well, at least you can't accuse James

of not knowing how to have a good time.

So Meowth, what say you and I

hit the finals f*ring on all fours?

MEOWTH: What's that mean?

JESSIE: Your vocal stylings were second to none but with the

stiff competition we need a bit more kick! That's it!

That one thing you do the best!

MEOWTH: And what's that?

JESSIE: Oh come on! Think! You know...

MEOWTH: Know what?

JESSIE: Perfect! Super Sunflora!

MEOWTH: Of course! I guess I have gotten rave reviews.

JESSIE: With this look and that voice it'll be you and me

and the Egg makes three!

MEOWTH: And don't forget that Pokémon Eggs

make a terrific gift for the Boss!

MEOWTH: With an Egg bunkmate,

he'll sleep like a baby from dusk 'til dawn!

Waking up with a happy yawn!

JESSIE: Cut! Cut! You know we can't just haul off

and give the Boss an unhatched and unproven Egg

without first knowing what lurks within its shell!

MEOWTH: Uh, I do?

JESSIE: If we apply a bit of strategic thinking and

use patience we may end up with a Pokémon with real pizzazz!

JESSIE: Now that would be a glorious gift worth giving!

JESSIE: This one's worth the wait!

MEOWTH: But don't forget that old saying

"an Egg in the hand is worth two Pokémon in the bush."

JESSIE: Please! You think an Egg is going to make us richer

than a legendary Sinnoh superstar Pokémon?

MEOWTH: Well, when you put it that way,

I guess we could take a sh*t with some of that patience jazz.

JESSIE: Goody. We won't blow it.

And before you know it, we'll be rich!

RHONDA: It's now time for our finals!

And here are the incredible Pokémon

and their trainers who have made it to the last round!

We wish them the best of luck,

though they're all winners already!

DAWN: Oh man. Both Ash and Brock made it!

DAWN: Don't worry Piplup.

We'll get in the finals next year! Yup!

BROCK: You know, I'm amazed we've gotten this far

just doing Politoed!

RHONDA: Now, our first competitor in the final round

is our defending champion, Chatot!

PARTNER: You know Chatot,

everyone's tired of hearing the Jigglypuff song.

CHATOT: Everyone?

PARTNER: Since it's the finals, something different this time?

CHATOT: Something different!

JESSIE: That's the same song!

CROAGUNK: [IMITATING]

JESSIE: Well, I guess there's no accounting for lousy taste.

- MEOWTH: Hey Jess. - JESSIE: Now what?

MEOWTH: We really don't need to win this silly thing, you know.

JESSIE: What?

MEOWTH: First we make sure no one's looking then,

we grab the Egg and lam on out of here fast!

JESSIE: Yes! Brilliant! Oh no! Who's that?

JESSIE: My mistake! That looked just like a legendary Pokémon,

but it's not. Isn't that a scream?

JAMES: What are you doing?

It's almost time for our turn in lights!

JESSIE: Cheese it! We've already ripped off the Egg,

so let's blow this pop stand!

RHONDA: Uh, excuse me, Katharine Jessiburn!

Where are you going anyway?

JESSIE: Oh, just taking a walk.

BROCK: Croagunk, what's wrong?

- BROCK: The Egg is gone! - ASH: You're kidding!

BROCK: I'll bet they've got the Egg!

SUKIZO: Too unremarkable!

JENNY: Well! They're not going anywhere!

GROWLITHE: [APPEARING]

GROWLITHE: [ROARING]

MEOWTH: Teeth speak louder than words.

JAMES: If you'd just let us win,

it that Egg would be ours peacefully!

JESSIE: I'll piece you! Cloaking off!

That growling of Growlithe once filled us with fear!

JAMES: Though who growls louder is not all that clear.

- JESSIE: On the wind - JAMES: Past the stars

MEOWTH: And in your ear!

JESSIE: Bringing chaos at a breakneck pace!

JAMES: Dashing hope, putting fear in its place!

JESSIE: A rose by any other name's just as sweet!

JAMES: When everything's worse, our work is complete!

And how much worse can it get?

- JESSIE: Um Jessie! - JAMES: James!

MEOWTH: Meowth, now that's a name!

JESSIE: Putting the do-gooders in their place!

JAMES: Team Rocket!

JESSIE, JAMES, MEOWTH: We're in your face!

ASH: Give us back that Egg, right now!

JESSIE: Time after time it's the same old tired line!

Being a first-rate actress,

I would really appreciate a little more Twerpish effort!

Seviper, Haze now!

SEVIPER: [HAZE MOVE]

ASH: Staravia, come on out and use Gust!

STARAVIA: [APPEARING] / [GUST MOVE]

- ASH: That way! - BROCK: After them!

- JENNY: Quick, hurry! - DAWN: Let's go!

RHONDA: I want every bit of the action caught on tape!

CAMERAMAN: Right!

ASH: Team Rocket, come back here!

JESSIE: Twerps are so naive!

MEOWTH: And we've got to leave!

JAMES: But mark my words, if Mime' Jr. and I had stayed

to the stony end, we would've won this Egg anyway!

JAMES: It's true! Wow!

There is but one champ, and that champ is you!

MIME JR.: [HAPPY]

RHONDA: We may be right in the middle

of the Pokémon Dress-Up Contest,

but when a big story like this breaks, we cover it!

Without that Egg,

this magnificent event has no happy ending,

so you'd better stay tuned!

ASH: You won't get away! Pikachu, use Thunderbolt!

BROCK: No wait! Using Thunderbolt

could damage the Egg!

ASH: Yeah, you're right! Okay Staravia use Wing att*ck!

STARAVIA: [AFFIRMATIVE] / [WING att*ck]

JESSIE: Dustox! Poison Sting!

DUSTOX: [POISON STING MOVE]

STARAVIA: [DODGING]

JESSIE: Go get them, Dustox dear!

And meanwhile why don't you two do something with some worth!

JAMES: If you had let Mime Jr. emerge victorious,

we would have!

JESSIE: Oh to dream of what might have been.

DAWN: Quick Piplup, use Bubble Beam on Dustox!

JAMES: Mime Jr. it's time for one of your Mimic Moments!

MIME JR.: [MIMIC MOMENT MOVE]

BROCK: Croagunk, help! Hey! You can stop now!

RHONDA: That Mime Jr.'s got a super-powerful Mimic!

- JAMES: No duh! - JESSIE: Oh, I've seen better.

JAMES: Oh, you have? Well! Let them have it!

- MEOWTH: Have what? - JAMES: Teeter Dance of course!

MIME JR.: [TEETER DANCE MOVE]

MEOWTH: First the movie short, then T.V., and now this!

MEOWTH: Hey, if you're going to be asleep at the wheel,

this's the way to do it!

JESSIE: But who's going to do the driving?

RHONDA: That Teeter Dance has affected Meowth's steering!

I wonder why they decided to use Teeter Dance

since it's a move that confuses everyone,

except the one using it in the first place.

JAMES: Don't ask!

JESSIE: The Twerps are so far away they don't feel a thing!

You and your pseudo psycho-lame-o-mimic macho!

ASH: Somethings not right!

BROCK: It looks like they're going to crash!

DAWN: If that happens, the Pokémon Egg is done for!

MEOWTH: Please bring your seat backs

and tray tables to their upright position!

JESSIE: No!

DAWN: Quick! Buneary, Bounce!

BUNEARY: [APPEARING] / [BOUNCE MOVE]

DAWN: All right!

BUNEARY: [PROUD]

ASH: Great catch! CROAGUNK: [IMITATING]

RHONDA: Incredible! Because of some quick thinking they were

able to save the Pokémon Egg using Buneary's Bounce!

ASH: Okay, we're all clear now, Pikachu!

So let's use Thunderbolt!

PIKACHU: [PREPARING]

JAMES, JESSIE: Momma!

MEOWTH: Gabba gabba gabba gabba gabba, hey!

JESSIE, JAMES, MEOWTH, MIME JR., DUSTOX : [PAINED]

MEOWTH: It was more fun when I was nuts.

JESSIE: Leaving the Egg

without knowing what it will hatch into stinks!

JAMES: I wish we could say the same about you.

MIME JR.: [SAD]

JESSIE, JAMES, MEOWTH: We're blasting off again!

CROAGUNK: [IMITATING]

RHONDA: And so we come to the end

of a remarkable Dress-Up Contest!

But first, we must discover which Pokémon

will wear the crown of victory!

As our three talented finalists wait patiently

for the judges' difficult decision!

DAWN: Pikachu was great,

but I bet you that Chatot wins it again.

PIPLUP: [DISAPPOINTED]

CHATOT: I win! I win!

CROAGUNK: [IMITATING]

BROCK: I wouldn't hold my breath if I were you, pal.

JOY: All right, the final votes are in!

CROAGUNK: [IMITATING]

CROAGUNK: [IMTIATING]

JENNY: And this year's big winner is Brock's Croagunk!

BROCK: No way!

RHONDA: Let's give them both a big hand for a job well done!

CROAGUNK: [IMITATING]

SUKIZO: Brock. Remarkable!

BROCK: Thank you so much, Mr. Sukizo!

JOY: Croagunk stayed in character

during the entire contest! Well done!

JENNY: That was an impressive bit of Pokémon imitation

- for sure! - ASH: Brock, way to go!

DAWN: Piplup, isn't it great?

CROAGUNK: [IMITATING]

RHONDA: And now, a brand new Pokémon Dress-Up legend is born!

A real superstar! Master of Pokémon Dress-Up! Croagunk!
