since returning to the O Group,

and I really want
to generate some good traffic

and prove that I'm an asset
to the company.

but it's very unusual

and I'm obsessed with it.

She was gonna miss her flight.

And yeah, I mean, Brett,
I went to his open house the other day,

which was really cool. And, um...

I got to tell you,
Emma was there, and Mary,

and Vanessa was briefly there
as well, and...

Mary was arguing that she knew you
back then, you were living together.

They were saying
your engagement wasn't true.

It was kind of heartbreaking,
that they have such strong feelings.

Girl, I don't give a sh*t
about what these people say about me.

- It doesn't matter.
- No. I know...

It puts you in an awkward spot.

It was the topic of conversation,
and I didn't know what to say.

I didn't know you back then,
when you dated your ex,

but you told them I did know you.

Having four, five people
come up to you and tell you X, Y, Z,

you're like, "I don't know."

I see where you're coming from, but then...

But you shouldn't even have said that.

- No.
- Why would you give them the credit?

I'm not giving them credit.
I'm saying, as any neutral...

I know, but you shouldn't have said that,
'cause that's admitting.

- That's not admitting anything.
- Ah, ah. Davina.

Just look at how that looks.

I really just, you know,
hope that you have my back.

I mean, I'm here starting a new chapter
at the Oppenheim Group,

with my new listing
that I think I'm going to sell and, uh...

I wanna... get along with people. [chuckles]

I'm trying to figure out,
like, where does your loyalty lie?

I just want to know,
you know, who my real friends are.

We're definitely friends, 100%.

I just can't say,
"This definitely happened,"

when I don't know that
and I can't compromise my integrity.

You can't expect me to do that,
I think that's very fair to say.

This is my new listing.

It's huge, almost 6,000 square feet.

Five bed, eight bath.

Normally I would bring Amanza in
to help stage my listings,

but she has got so much
on her plate right now,

and this place is massive,
so it's going to take a lot of work.

I wanna walk you through, get some ideas.
Let me know if you have any questions.

There's a lot of space.
Very tall ceilings. My client's very tall.

Thomas Bryant is my NBA client,
and he's amazing,

and he wants to sell
his house in Woodland Hills

because his commute
every day is really terrible.

And homes like this one
can seem really barren and overwhelming

if they're not properly staged.

So that's my job.

Gotta get in there,
get the staging perfectly done,

so that it doesn't feel overwhelming.

It's definitely a family home.

Obviously, huge kitchen.

I was thinking
maybe we could do some pretty barstools.

Yeah, absolutely.

[Chrishell] You know, put some things
to make it pop a little bit.

- You know, family, comfortable, cozy.
- [Stacey] Absolutely.

You can add more seating,
and I think it's good to show that,

especially if it is a family home.

As soon as this install is done,
we're photographing it,

and we are hitting the market ASAP, so...

I need to sell his house
because I don't want to have him

in temporary housing too long,

so the pressure is really on.

I need to find him a place
that has everything he wants

and that he really loves.

You know, someplace
that he can just really call home.

I know. It's been so long.

I think the last time

Three months ago.

Three months? Good for us, though.

At least we're busy,
and we have lots of business,

so it could be worse.

It's just been crazy busy,
but I mean, you know,

it's been good.

Do you know I'm going to start
working on Chrishell's house?

So you're gonna make one of those rooms
into, like, a big massive closet, right?

- That will be cool.

I'll have to hang out with her
at the pool while you're working,

so I can still see you
and hang out at the pool.

I can watch my hot man hard at work.

Romain and I have been so busy.
He's in construction.

He has been k*lling it
as a project manager,

and it's awesome,

'cause he's doing
all these projects with Jason,

and it's amazing
that we're both in the same industry.

You did that for me?

Yeah. I organized that.

[Mary laughs] I love it.

We have to have a kiss.

So I think it would be a good idea
to try to figure out, like...

where we're at on this whole buying thing.

Our whole plan was to flip.

I know it's, like, a super hard thing
to do right now with you so busy,

but of course, with me and this industry,

and then you and the construction too,

we have the potential
to make a sh*t ton of money from it.

So I think it would be good
to find something

where we redo the kitchen,
the bathrooms, the floors,

not plumbing,
electrical, roof, foundation.

Just like the cosmetic things
that have big bang for your buck.

Mm-hmm.

I just think we need
to talk a bit more about it

because it's important
for me to do my part,

and you, you know,
obviously, you can do yours.

[chuckles]

But until we find something...

- I just, I also... This is our future.
- But I understand...

I don't want to miss out

- on a great opportunity.
- I don't want to either.

I just wanna find something
that works for both of us

because the way I've been raised,
I don't expect anyone

to pay for any of my sh*t.

Even though you're my wife and I love you.

You wanna do half and half,

but if I find something that is amazing,

and you're not ready yet
or not able to put money into that home,

I want to be able
to jump in, get it for us.

Absolutely not!

[Romain] I wanna be proud of myself,
and say, you know, "I did it."

If Mary pays for everything,
even if we put both of our names,

there is no point for me.

I'll never be happy with that.

I'm happy and proud of you.

It's just important for me
to do my part of things.

I mean, I respect that.

That's one of the things I love about you,
but I don't want us to miss out.

- I've just been picking at everything.

I was at Brett's listing the other day.

There was Mary and Davina and Emma,

and they were talking about Christine,

and all the things that she said to Emma,
that she was engaged to this guy.

Mary said that's not true.

She was friends
with Christine at that time.

Even Davina, she's starting
to have doubts of what she's saying.

She's getting caught in her lies,
and everyone's just sick of it.

This isn't the only situation like that.

I feel that Christine comes
from a place of pain,

and she probably just, like, uses

her behavior as a defense
of not being hurt again.

What is the pain that would make you
try and truly tear people down

and take them down
at the worst time in their life?

I think Christine comes
from a place of jealousy,

and she just is driven
by what feels like evil forces.

I understand
your situation with Christine,

but also, like,
I believe that people can change.

So I had this idea of...

I have a mindset coach,
and she has helped me tremendously,

so I felt it would be a good idea
for her to meet her

and improve her life
and become a better person.

I started seeing this mindset coach,

uh, after my sister d*ed,

and she helped me a lot
to reframe my thoughts

when they were going to a negative place,

so I really think
that she can do the same for Christine.

[chuckles] I don't know
what kind of healer you have,

but unless you have
some kind of a guru healer

that's gonna sit her down
and do an exorcism,

I don't see how this is going to change.

Uh...

I don't think Christine
is capable of being saved,

but Vanessa wants
to take Christine to a mindset coach.

[inhales sharply]

It's worth a sh*t. [chuckles]

I want to be honest with you.

I don't know if you're upset with me

because I'm friends with her.

Why do you say that?

I feel that...

I think there's been like a shift, um,

between... I don't know,
between you and me. And I don't know...

No, truly, that is not the case.

I want you to know that I don't wanna
not be friends with her,

but also, like, I will not stop
being friends with all of you,

because she doesn't get along
with all of you.

Uh...

You don't have to worry about what I...

Like, me worried about talking to you and...

Just because, honestly,
every single thing I just said to you,

I would say to her face.

This is truly where I stand,
and it's taken me a long road to get here.

So this isn't a kind of conversation
where I'm nervous that you're...

- I would say this to her.

He wants to go that way.

[Mary] Oh, okay.

So what's been going on with you?

Nothing. [laughs]
The kids are good. They're so opposite.

Noah always wants to leave the house,
go do something,

and then Braker,
I cannot get him out of the house.

Oh, yeah? Video games?

Video games, and then he gets annoyed
with, like, people like a lot.

- I get that.
- Just annoyed.

It's really tough to know
what to say to the kids

'cause I don't want
to tell them he's not coming back.

Braker asked me the other day,
"Can I change my last name to Smith?"

- Really?
- He goes, "Since my dad left."

- Oh!
- And I was like...

- Wow.
- "Um... maybe." [chuckles]

I think that because it's been so long,

they've pretty much
come to the conclusion on their own

that maybe he isn't.

And I think it's time

that we just really focus
on the three of us

and just try to move on.

Well, you're k*lling it
in a really crappy situation.

[Amanza] Anywho,
what's going on with real estate?

People still selling houses
at the Oppenheim Group?

[Mary] They are, yeah. It's going well.

Romain's back in OC today.
He's down there doing Jason's house.

Jason bought a house in...

- Yeah.
- Dude buys house every other week.

- I can't keep up.
- I know.

So Romain's fixing that one up,
but it'll be a short project

'cause it's already nice.

- Where is it?
- Newport.

- Oh, my gosh, wow.
- Yeah.

But, I mean, we're good. We're just like...
I feel like we can't make any plans

because we barely have time to talk.

We have, like, a couple minutes
of conversation, eat, and he falls asleep

'cause he has to get up
at 5:00 a.m. to go back to work, so...

Are you guys going to keep renting
or you want to buy something?

We want to buy.

I just don't know
what we're going to do just yet

because he wants to pay at least half.

I'm trying to figure out
how to get around that.

[Amanza] That's a tough...
I mean, even as a woman,

it's a tough spot to, like, not feel
like you're contributing at least half.

- Yeah.
- So for a man, it's...

- Exactly.
- ...ten thousand times...

Even though you don't care.
Like if he wasn't working, but he...

I would have a serious problem
if he was if he wasn't working.

Then I'd be like,
"Uh, I'm not your sugar mama."

I've been up and down,

and more down, in my life

than anything when it comes to finances.

I mean, being a single mom since I was 16,

I had to kind of start over again
many times for many reasons,

and I never want to go through that again.

I'm making great money for myself,

and I feel very secure,
and security means a lot to me.

I'm watching Chrishell buy her house
and Heather and Tarek just bought a house,

and Jason buys like 25 houses.

Yeah.

In the Valley right now,
the prices are going up so fast.

- We're gonna miss the boat.
- I know!

The Valley used to be
the affordable place.

It's hot
and it's not as close to the city,

but now it's just as high
as everywhere else.

Maybe something will pop up
that's just like, "Wow!"

And he's like,
"Dude, I get it. We can't miss out."

Maybe you could
work out something with him

because, honestly, if you do buy a fixer...

- Mmm.
- ...he's gonna be doing most of the labor.

That's something you would've
had to pay for that wouldn't be free.

Exactly.

Maybe, "Look, you are contributing
way more than you probably even know."

I understand Mary's frustration.

She wants to buy a house,

but money is one
of the leading causes of breakup,

and I really hope
that they can work through this,

because I just don't want
to see them, you know, crumble.

I asked Braker the other day,
"Who's your favorite uncle?"

- And he said Romain.
- Aw!

I was like, "We won't tell
Uncle Brett or Uncle Jason."

- [both laugh]
- Aw, that's so sweet.

I mean, they're almost the same age,
so it makes sense. [laughs]

So, Laura, she's an amazing mindset coach.

I think that she's a gift that Jackie,
my sister, sent me when she passed.

She has helped me tremendously
with everything in my life,

and, uh, I'm really happy you're here
because I want to help you.

- And...
- [phone chimes]

I fell out of escrow

and I called my other backup offer,

and I got an offer now for $1,650,000.

Seven days, no contingencies,
like, no referrals, no nothing.

So that's $351,000 over asking!

[Christine] What? Oh, my God!

[Vanessa] No, 125,000 more
than the other one!

- [Christine] Oh, my goodness.
- You held the bar.

- Oh, I did!
- Mindset.

Yay! [cheers]

Oh, my God. Okay,
clearly, you're really good, so...

[Vanessa] Yes, she is.

We just sat down and this lady
is already making things happen.

I need her in my life.

So I just help people manifest

or close the gap between where they are
and where they wish to be,

versus spewing and stuckedness
of whatever they think their problems are,

and then make it happen.

It's been hard with relationships.

That's what I have the problem with.

And for me,

I'm in a situation
where I just feel, like, alienated.

And I want to move forward
with all these girls,

and I just feel
like they don't really seem

to either want to move forward
or know how to move forward.

A lot of these girls were like,
"You did these things to me years ago,

and you need to apologize
for the stuff you did years ago,

and then this,
you did that, and years ago."

And so, for me, I was just like...

I did apologize,

but I cannot keep harping on old things.

So that's where I feel like I'm stuck.

- Can I say something?
- Yeah.

The problem I see right now

is that they say
that you're continuing doing it.

That you apologize
and you continue doing something else,

and it's completely the opposite
of what you say.

And that is where they're coming from,

according to what they say,

and they're all agreeing
that you continue lying.

I mean, I'm so sorry they feel that way,
but that's certainly not the case.

I would never feel comfortable
with people saying that I'm lying.

I don't need to defend myself anymore.
That's what's gotten...

Okay, but how do you see
that they're going to believe in you

if you don't stop this?

I've always been trying to explain,
trying to explain, trying to explain,

and I don't wanna do it anymore.

It's beyond disrespectful to my husband.

Yeah.

This is a relationship
that started eight years ago.

But I feel that it's important
for you to feel at peace with this,

and I don't feel
that you are really at peace with it.

And that's what's been hurting me
since day one,

that I've seen you suffering about this.

Christine.

Christine, look at me.

[dramatic music playing]

[sobs]

You do really need to let this go,

and then really, like,
close the door to drama.

Once and for all.

[Laura] You gotta look at yourself
in the mirror and recognize

"There's a part of me that is done
with blaming everybody else,

because when I make the excuse
that it must be them,

I'm handing the keys of my power to them."

Whether you had a tough situation,
maybe when you were a child or a teenager,

that stripped you of your power,
and it manifested in a friendship.

[Christine] I just...

I mean, like...

[sighs]

[Laura] It's okay.

There's a lot about... [breath trembles]

...like, my actual past

of growing up

people don't know
and they never will know.

[Laura] Mm-hmm.

So, for me,

I don't like the past.

And I don't want to live in that place
that I used to live in when I was a child.

[sobs]

Isn't it ironic
that you keep attracting people

who can't let go of the past,
and are poking at you?

[Christine] Yeah.

You feel the pain
of your past being recreated.

I think Vanessa's coming today.

I just had lunch with her the other day,

and she was telling me
how she has this mind coach for Christine.

She thinks it's gonna,
like, help her and change her.

I was like, "Listen, I mean..."

- [Emma] We'll take anything.
- "Try anything, but..." [laughs]

A mind coach? Like a psychiatrist?

That's what I said, "Is it deep therapy?"

If Vanessa can make that happen,
I feel like she deserves a bonus.

[Chrishell] We'll all go ring the bell.

She gets 10%
of everybody's next deal for the year.

Did she say anything to you guys?

'Cause she said to me at lunch,

"I just feel like
there's a weird energy with us."

"I feel like we were getting so close..."

With you and Vanessa?

Yeah, she was asking if it was
because she's friends with Christine.

- Do you feel like?
- No! I don't...

Honestly, I wasn't thinking
that was the case. So anyway...

to this great manifestation coach,

and it was really nice,
it was really liberating.

The mindset coach helped me see

that how I feel

and how I'm perceived

is in my own control.

I do want to change my relationships
with the other agents moving forward.

I think it's just been too long
that they've been holding on to grudges,

and it's not healthy for them.

And I would just like to move on

and I wish they could too.

Whenever people are nasty,

it's basically hurt projected out,
so they're jealous.

So here we are,
happily married with our baby.

Our weekend trips are, like, stuff
that they'll never do their entire life.
