this duck says there's a very silly

vegetable called a turnip and a very

silly duck in this story

is cow's birthday

pig and mouth are going to make cow the

best birthday cake ever

they put flour and sugar and eggs in a

big bowl

no duck we will not put in a turnip

next they mix it all together with

turnip

now that

a spoon

and they put it in the oven

and they ice and decorate the cage

and on top they put

no turnip stuck

candles

here comes cow now

is that what i think it is

oh boy this is the best birthday ever

sometimes i brush my teeth using a

turnip

my next guest is a talented dance

and his root vegetables

you look

delicious thank you joy so tell us about

root vegetables well unlike the tomatoes

root vegetables such as myself do not

grow on the vine or on top of the soil

root vegetables grow underground

fascinating now i understand they're

going to dance for us yes it's the

famous rise of the rutabaga

no i love shows carrots and potato dance

happily over to parsnip i love carrots

garlic beckons person to join them but

parsnip is shy although excellent in

stews i love stews

skeleton potato dance over to rutabaga

rudabeg is happy and dances because he

is good source of vitamin a and c then

pasta joins in the celebration that was

beautiful and delicious we'll be right

broccoli sparky is sick i'm a vegetable

i don't know anything about sick animals

you need an animal doctor

an animal doctor that doesn't start with

wait i went to an animal doctor once she

was called a

veterinarian that's it if sparky is sick

get a veterinarian

open wide we have very good brains true

small but good

welcome to the annual salad bowl the

veggies are at the starting line and

they're awesome it's lettuce in the lead

followed by carrot cucumber and radish

but lettuce is stopping at the fork

hurdle

carrot and cucumber are jumping over the

fork

radish is rolling under the fork lettuce

is going around the fork

the veggies are approaching the tricky

salad dressing pond

now they're all swimming through the

salad dressing

into the final stretch it's the salt and

pepper shower

what a sneeze all the vegetables have

been tossed into the air

and the winner is well it's a toss-up

there's got to be an easier way to make

a salad

and now it's time for

those magnificent monkey cheerleaders

ready ready

give me some corn corn

give me some bananas bananas

give me some meat

rabbit twitched his nose in the cold

damp air

time to find food

more snow was coming

coming soon

he hopped and pawed through the field

till he found a turnip

then a second one too

quickly as he could rabbit rolled them

home

rabbit grinned as he nibbled

a turnip always makes for a cozy meal

warm and safe he thought about donkey

alone on the hill and wondered if she'd

found enough to eat

[Music]

rabbit gently butted his extra turnip to

donkey's house

[Music]

but donkey wasn't there

rabbit left the turnip by the door

[Music]

then hopped back home

as his tracks disappeared in the falling

snow

[Music]

donkey

when donkey returned with a potato she'd

found she nearly steps on the turnip by

the door

oh

who could have left this my surprise

asked donkey

my potato is plenty for me

goat's always hungry i'll take this to

him

[Music]

donkey hurried to her neighbors

but goat wasn't there

donkey left the turnip by the door

[Music]

then climbed back home

as her tracks disappeared in the falling

snow

[Music]

when goat returned with a cabbage he'd

found he nearly stepped on the turnip by

the door

dear me

said goat someone's lost a turnip

and with all this snow

maybe it was dear when she passed this

way

goat tucked his cabbage inside the door

then rolled the turnip around the bend

to dear's house

but deer wasn't there

goat left the turnip by the door

then trudged back home as his tracks

disappeared in the falling snow

[Music]

dear

when dear came home with a carrot sheet

found she nearly stepped on the turnip

by the door

how kind said dear someone's left me a

gift

but there's no need to keep more than i

can eat

with the snow this deep

rabbit couldn't have found much food

[Music]

deer took high steps through the deep

deep snow

[Music]

rabbit was home but sound asleep

deer left the turnip by the door

then leaped back home

as her tracks disappeared in the falling

snow

the next morning rabbit woke up early

after a nibble of his turnip he was

ready to play

but as he stepped outside

rabbit tripped on another turnip lying

by the door

who in the woods could have brought me

this

rabbit looked for tracks but the night's

fresh snow had erased everything

i don't know who to thank

then rabbits slowly grinned

but i know just who to share it with
