It’s very early here in Capital Castle.

Most of the ABC Monsters are still asleep.

I wonder if anyone’s awake in Capital Castle.

Let’s take a look and see.

(narrator) It’s S Monster.

She’s sound asleep.

We’ll have to be very quiet so that we don’t wake her up.

A Monster is also asleep... [laughs]

But at least he doesn’t snore like S Monster.

[alarm clock ringing]

[yawns]

(narrator) Good morning, A Monster.

Oh, dear.

Poor F Monster has not been able to get to sleep all night.

He just can’t get comfortable.

His pillow is too flat.

Look, Alice is already out of bed.

She’s come into the garden to talk to A Monster.

Here are some more early risers.

It’s Brian and Cherry Berry.

They’re looking for Alice to see if she wants

to play this morning.

Brian’s found a feather.

Now Cherry Berry has found one too.

Alice and A Monster have their feathers as well.

Now we have four feathers.

I wonder where they’re all coming from.

It’s nearly breakfast.

It’s time to check that all the ABC Monsters are up and awake.

(narrator) And with a wave of Cherry Berry’s Jester’s Stick,

all the ABC Monsters line up in alphabetical order.

were heading along a quiet country road when suddenly,

the quiet was interrupted by...

What’s that strange noise?

- It’s not me. - Nor me.

It’s coming from behind those bushes.

I’m trying to lose weight.

My belly keeps getting bigger and bigger.

F Monster suggested that if I want to get fit and healthy,

I should do some exercises.

Getting fit looks like a lot of fun.

It is, but I need help keeping count

as I do my fitness exercises.

We can do that.

And maybe you can help us find F Monster.

(narrator) So Alice, Brian, and Cherry Berry

helped Frankie Frog to get fit

by counting as he did his exercise.

you’ve just missed him.

Oh, dear.

If you do find my blue flowers,

I’ll reward you with a clue.

to Flora the florist and set off to the chicken farm.

It’s a chicken.

It must have escaped from the chicken farm.

We should take it back.

[laughs] Come on, Brian.

I thought you said it would be easy.

[panting]

I nearly caught it.

[both giggling]

(narrator) As Alice, Brian, and Cherry Berry

arrived at the chicken farm,

they noticed a familiar figure in the field with the chickens.

It’s F Monster!

[laughs] Hello, everyone.

What are you doing here at the chicken farm?

Looking for you.

Really?

I’ve been here collecting loose feathers from the chickens.

Wow! You’ve collected a lot.

What are they for?

I’ve been having trouble sleeping

because my pillow is flat.

I need to stuff it with more fluffy feathers

to make it plump again.

The best stuffing for a pillow is a feather.
