What separates firefighters
from ordinary citizens?
The answer is simple.
We will go where others will not.
Today, we honor those
members of the LAFD
who acted so courageously
during the Oceanus Blue cruise
ship disaster last March.
Acting captain, Henrietta Wilson.

Without their singular
tenacity and selflessness,
and unmatched skill and teamwork,
