dance and stuff for myself

that's exactly what herky did he flew to

lightning bug lake

to practice his dancing all by himself

all righty now i have to get this right

but i have to keep trying one two one

all afternoon until evening and still

he couldn't get the hang of it

i'm never gonna be any good at this

hey what's that it's lightning bugs

yes the lightning bugs of lightning bug

they're little bugs who light up at

night and when they all fly together

they form nice light patterns in the air

boy they sure know how to have a good

time

maybe i'll just watch them for a little

bit

shucks i've been practicing all day i

need a little fun and that's exactly

what herky did

he watched the bugs sway to the rhythm

of their own

buzzing music which they made with their

wings

hey that's a catchy beat well i think

these guys are

actually doing some kind of a lightning

bug

hey look at me like moving to

their music i must be doing a dance

with them wow

of course he was dancing just by

watching the lightning bugs and doing

what they were doing

herky had learned how to dance and soon

he was adding his own moves and doing

his own kind of dance

hey you bugs look at me i'll call

this the helicopter

oh look at this i'll

hey look if i put them all together

i'll have the best dance of all the

freaky

gosh i just realized something

now that i can do this i can go to the

harvest moon dance

yes herky had found his own beat to

dance to

and he couldn't wait to share what he

had learned from his pals
