snuffy and the colors of fall

it was a bright sunny morning on one of

the last days of summer

something new was coming to terrytown

and that something was

fall that's what i call this painting jj

it celebrates all the great colors of

the fall season

you know pretty soon the hills of

terrytown will be covered with all kinds

of beautiful fall colors but where does

the color come from

well from the leaves on the trees the

cooler weather makes many of the leaves

change all kinds of different colors

each one more amazing than the next wow

when is that gonna happen well it's hard

to say jj it's all up to the weather and

god's timing who knows the leaves might

have started changing colors already

oh really do you mean right now possible

brenda i'm going to fly over the hills

and see if i can find even one leaf

that's changed color that's a great idea

and if i find one i'll bring it back to

show you thanks jj

so jj took off to find the first newly

colored leaf of fall

he flew right over terrytown national

park

impatient to see god's colorful fall

changes

he looked everywhere for a sign of new

color

soon jj was spotted by little snuffy the

sky rider

there's jj i wonder what he's up to

i'm searching

gee that's great searching

what you searching for

searching for any sign that the hills of

terrytown are changing color i'm

expecting them to change color any day

now you know

really all the hills all of them

what color all kinds of color

but hey hey there's something

it's just a red balloon caught in a tree

that's not what you're looking for

and i'm disappointed you are

yeah really disappointed i just know

these hills are gonna change colors soon

and i want to be the first one to spot

look snuffy i'm gonna zoom i have a lot

of ground to cover if i'm gonna find any

new colors in these hills i'll see you

i wonder what makes jj think these big

hills are gonna change color

i'm wearing i'm heaven i'm revving

skywriting spoke to paint those hills

for jj so he won't be disappointed at

all

here's all the paint we have at the

airport now all i have to do is pick out

the right colors and mix it with my

skywriting smoke

apples

snuffy had goofed in trying to fix god's

creation but jj didn't know well there's

nothing up here

i just wish i could find some

interesting colors somewhere

i was flying low over the hills when

suddenly out of nowhere splat

i was splattered with all this paint

now look at me that's terrible well i've

got to get cleaned up

how could two of them get splattered

with paint at the same time

oh no tracy don't tell me you got

splattered with paint too

this is very mysterious

i've been looking all over for you boy

have i got something special to show you

the hills they've changed color oh oh

they have yup and i've seen them wowie

i've been waiting for this let's go look

it up follow me

snuffy had tried to make god's beautiful

fall colors by himself

oh i can't wait to see the colors then

play your eyes right over there

fluffy what's this see the hills have

changed colors just like you wanted but

this isn't what i expected it isn't oh

no i wanted to see the hills change into

fall colors well what this looks like

somebody actually dropped paint all over

the hills and then they just

snuffy

did you do this

snuffy oh i guess i kind of did but why

i didn't want you to be disappointed oh

so let me get this straight snuffy you

sprayed paint over everything well

yeah

i did it for jj because he was looking

for colors of the hills but rev evans

said the hills never change color

oh snuffy i know you meant well the god

is in charge and the hills really are

going to change color

they will

yes it's in god's plan and he'll do it

at just the right time it'll look

beautiful just like this painting

really

really it's called fall and it's one of

the seasons of the year it comes right

after summer and it's followed by winter

and then spring boy now i can't wait to

see fall colors too

i'm really sorry i messed up the hills

brenda that's okay snuffy you and i can

help clean up all the paint then all we

have to do is wait for the real thing

snuffy was sorry he had goofed and

painted the trees himself

instead of waiting for god's timing for

fall to come

but as they swooped over low branches

that tickled their tummies

snuffy giggled so grateful for

forgiveness

and soon the trees were as good as new

then jj and snuffy flew home to begin

waiting for the real colors of fall

and sure enough days later the little

planes woke up to see god's great fall

season

let's see what kind of a day it's gonna

be today

weather seems nice even though it's a

little breezy

it sure is getting cold

i wonder if there's a

stuffy wake up huh

what gigi what's the battle oh you gotta

see something follow me

it's the hills

and they're full of color

they're beautiful huh yeah

jj what makes the colors like that

it's the leaves snuffy the cold weather

makes them change color

yes the hills had finally changed to

glorious colors and snuffy knew for sure

though he'd messed up in painting the

hills himself he was forgiven and from

now on he would trust god's plan
