Imagine how it feels to be me, to hear from Karen that five
minutes before we all went to bed, that you were talking
about how Brittany is not your type and how
what you would want was Jamie.
She'd be the one that you'd want to date when you left.
I just feel like a total sucker.
[theme music]
That was never meant to happen.
Well, it wouldn't happen.
But it's, like, I don't like what's going on,
and I want you to just come in and talk to--
just talk to everyone.
I mean, Brittany is kind of upset.
I mean, I think she really likes you.
OK.
I just want whatever he has to say to be open.
I don't want it to be to me, or-- you know what I mean?
Yeah.
If it involves me, I just want it to be open.
Yeah.
So-- [HIGH-PITCHED VOICE] OK, let the fun begin.
[laughs]
Let the fun begin.
Oh, my god!
OK, actually, I'm only in here because of Jamie.
Like, I don't really--
OK, I'll start.
You don't need to say anything.
All right.
I'll make it easy on you.
We always made this pact that if a girl ever came between any
of us, we would never, basically,
let a girl come between us because it's not
worth breaking up a friendship.
It's not about you and her.
It's about you lying, continuing to lie.
Wait, wait!
What did I lie about?
Tell me.
Tell me what I lied about.
Tell me.
OK, you know the conversation that you had with Karen.
A long time ago-- yes, I do.
I know, the beat wine night three days ago?
I had a conversation with her about four weeks ago, too,
that I said something about Jamie, yes.
Me and Jamie have very much in common,
and I could see me dating someone like Jamie.
OK.
I said, but also--
let me finish.
I said, who knows what the heck happens
when we get out of this house, if we
even see each other ever again?
I said, so I can't say that anything would ever happen.
I said, I barely know her.
That's not the issue.
It's not the point.
OK, then tell me what the issue is.
This-- actually, you want to say what you want to say?
I don't even-- I'm--
I believed that we were going to be friends.
And I don't see how that changes anything.
Because this stuff--
This is my point, Brittany, is nothing has ever happened.
And my point is this, is if you two were ever friends,
nothing would ever happen.
It's not about anything happening,
and it's not about you liking Jamie.
You could like Jamie.
You could [muted] be in love with Jamie.
That's not the point.
OK.
Imagine how it feels to be me.
OK.
To hear from Karen--
OK.
--that five minutes before we all went to bed, that you
were talking about how you--
how Brittany is not your type and how what you would want
was Jamie, and how you would not do
anything with her in the house, but you would want--
she'd be the one that you'd want to date when you left.
And that in the morning, have the big talk that we had--
have you not bring that up to me.
The reason why I think you should have brought it up
it was because A, you knew how I felt about you.
B, the last time that you had ever said anything about Jamie
to me was about totally a sister.
You could never see anything, you know.
Your feelings for her-- you either
lied to me when you were saying that you
felt like she was a sister. - No, I honestly felt that way.
I didn't know her very well at that time.
That was how long ago?
Then you had an obligation, after
saying this [muted] and doing this
[muted] with me that happened--
you had an obligation to tell me that your feelings changed--
as a friend, as anything other than a friend.
You had an obligation to be completely open
and to not say what I would want to hear,
or not not say what I don't want to hear.
I understand your point, OK?
But, like, I'm telling you is--
it's like what you're making out of it is this--
is that I have these incredible feelings for Jamie
at the same time I had feelings for you or something.
It's not like that.
I never did.
There's nothing there between me and Jamie.
That's my point.
I wouldn't bring it up because I guess it has no substance,
for one, and two, if I did bring it up,
it would just bring up something in your mind
that was never really there at all anyway.
I guess it just had enough substance to be eating Karen up
for a couple of days till she finally broke down
and said something.
I don't know because Karen might think--
I don't know what Karen thinks, to tell you the truth.
She thinks you're bad news.
[laughs]
Well, I'll tell you what I told Jamie.
I don't know if you've noticed.
I go, and I spend all day outside every single day.
And the reason I do it is because I don't
want to come between you guys.
You wouldn't.
You would never come between us. - That's what I'm telling you.
I mean, there's nothing you could do.
I don't think it would happen, and I don't think
it would happen, and I wouldn't even want
to create conflict for you.
I wouldn't-- you know, I do care about you.
Believe it or not, Brittany.
And that's why I go and I spend all day
out there, every single day, just because I don't want
everything that I say to be taken completely out of context
and to have some substance that it doesn't have.
Because it has no substance.
I talk to Jamie maybe five minutes every other day.
And it's like in the last few days,
I've talked to her more than ever.
But I haven't told you any lies about the way I feel about you.
Nothing.
You think when I came in here last night, and I was talking
and everything else, that I don't care?
You have to know that I care about you.
I don't know.
I want to believe you do.
I do care about you, yes.
But it's just--
I was thinking about it.
But it's like everything you've done--
[sniffling] I just feel like a total sucker.
I just feel so gullible.
It's like I feel like I'll never learn.
I do.
You know, I don't know what he was doing either.
You know, he's the only person I can't quite
put my finger on or trust.
I don't know.
He goes in the bedroom, talks all this stuff.
And he's, you know, rude and vulgar, and then
he won't even talk about what he says.
I have no idea what he's--
I don't know if he's trying to portray himself as, you know,
these women are all over me.
I don't know what it is.
I mean, he's told me at times he's jealous of Josh getting
all the women-- you know, women's
attention and stuff like that.
- Did he say that? - Oh, yeah.
Oh, yeah.
It's very odd.
I can't quite-- you know, I don't know.
I think the thing with Eddie is like he
doesn't want any-- he is here for his money, his $ grand.
And that's it.
He doesn't want any distractions.
I know.
He doesn't want to get to know anyone or even
care about anyone at all.
I think that's right.
And I think it was almost a mistake, but I actually--
I cared about him.
And we just-- I talked all about his life.
And we just had a good time, and we were friends.
So it's like it was almost a mistake to--
because then he's like, OK, I like--
I care about Jamie and that.
So you know what I mean?
Or whatever.
It's like he wants to just kind of stay in a cave,
and win money, and not talk to anyone, or something.
There is truth to that.
He would like to win this game or walk out
of here with some fame, and do something
cool, and all of that.
That's for sure.
He's made that clear.
He's been honest about it, too, which is--
right.
Maybe I'm a heartless b*stard.
I don't know.
I don't know what the hell it is, man.
But it's [muted] crazy in here, bro.
Again, sly move on the emotional ups and downs, you know?
Everybody was all happy and then, boom,
you're blasted with the thing.
People in here, I think, are starting
to see it more as a cake walk than it really is.
You know, we came in here, we knew
it was a back-to-basics gig.
When they give us, like, a little taste of this and that,
you know.
This is a wonderful experience.
And don't get me wrong, but this is also a contest.
I know that you guys knew of my weaknesses, and my fears.
And whether or not you're going to act on them
and make them a reality for me in here is your choice.
Now you guys know that Cassandra hates getting her hair wet.
And twice, we've had these big pool activities, where
she's had to get her hair wet.
And she gets pissed because she don't like that.
I think I can honestly say that if you threw something
at me that disturbs me in the worst way, I sure as hell
wouldn't let you know about it because it would
be more fuel for you, man.
I can speculate for other people and say that they're enjoying
their "Big Brother" experience, but some people
are wearing thin of it.
I can see.
But again, you know, the experience-- everybody's
here for the experience.
And then when they're getting the experience,
they're bitching about it.
Makes no sense to me.
Makes no sense. [MOCKINGLY] I'm here for the experience.
I'm here for the experience.
Now you're getting the experience.
I don't want the experience.
Well, you've got to shut the [muted] up.
That's what you wanted.
NARRATOR: The houseguests hear from Karen in the studio
after she's banished.
Hi, everyone.
Hi, Julie.
Hi.
I've got Karen here with me who wants
to say a few words to you guys.
Yo, Karen!
Hey, Karen!
Hey, Britt!
Hey, Josh!
You guys, it's great.
It's awesome.
It's everything I wanted it to be.
Your girls are beautiful!
Oh, thank you.
Guess who's standing next to me?
My husband.
Yay!
Bueno.
It's OK.
[laughter]
Told ya!
What did I tell ya?
Yes, George.
You told me.
OK!
Good to see you, Karen.
Best of luck to you, baby. - I told ya!
- Thank you! - I love you!
I love you too, very much.
Take care of Pugsley!
We'll miss your cooking!
Yes!
They got me now, Karen!
I know, that's what's scary.
We miss your advice.
I love you guys, Oh, Josh, I'll miss giving it.
I love you, Eddie.
Love you, Karen.
I love you, Curtis, and I'm sorry I accused you of that.
It's OK.
I love you.
I love you.
Jamie, I love you too.
And I know you voted for me, but it's OK!
I knew you wanted to leave!
And I take it.
I'm so happy you did.
I wouldn't be here right now if it wasn't for you.
Thank you.
And I'll see you in six weeks.
Oh, Britt, don't you dare cry, you silly!
Don't make me cry!
It's your fault!
Josh, take care of her, but not too much.
I've learned!
Oh, we hope so.
% of the people.
You can have my spot in the love bed, how's that?
She's so jealous.
[sighs] Oh, well.
Well, we miss you already, Karen!
Yeah.
I know.
You guys looked so sad afterwards.
And I'm so happy.
And I'm like, this isn't right!
And quit it, George, you're not supposed
to be drinking already.
JULIE: All right.
All right, everyone.
I'll see you!
[interposing voices]
JULIE: And I'll be talking to everyone in the house
next week, OK?
OK, Julie, thanks.
Bye, Julie.
Cool.
That was so nice.
Things are good out there, I think.
Well, I guess it's a good sign her husband was there,
and she said it was OK.
Yes!
See, I told her that.
I says, maybe there is a possibility, after all this,
that there might be some changes.
Well, we're going to miss her.
We'll be all right.
It was neat just to see people.
It was neat to see her kids.
To see her with her kids--
that was incredible.
That was just incredible.
Be happy now.
[sobbing]
Yeah.
[sighs] Oh, it's OK.
I'll tell you, it was an evening.
[sighs] It's a long hour.
Yeah.
I'm glad that it was a huge landslide.
You know, so that everyone feels OK here.
Yeah, yeah.
If it were like , , --
Yeah, that would be--
Which is going to just wrench us when she
starts announcing this stuff.
I know.
I know.
But we have to get ready for that.
I mean, that thing that they tried
to do with the nominations tape, guys--
we better be careful about everything we say and do.
Yeah, next time they may just show it.
They might not even give us an option of saying
whether we want to see it.
They might just throw it out there.
Oh, and she'll be watching over us
and watching out for us.
It's weird, because in my life,
I have always been the one who has been going.
So it's a little strange, being the one left behind, you know.
Cool, Cassandra.
Yeah, I'm just realizing that.
Anybody, almost anybody, against one of you
young guys is up the creek.
I don't know about that.
You know.
So I was ready for that.
That didn't surprise me at all.
But by the same token, I was like, oh, that's not too bad--
%, you know.
Glad you're here, Cassandra.
Me too, George.
All right, I'm very, very happy to be here, frankly.
Cool.
I am.
[chicken squawking]
Agnes, why are you being so bad, huh?
Why are you being such a bad one?
[more chickens squawking]
Do you miss Karen already?
Is that your problem, hmm?
Do you miss her already?
Is that why you're being a little stinker?
Come on, girls.
Get back in your pen.
What, sweetie?
It's OK.
Karen loves you.
She's just not here right now.
It started out with of us, you know.
And there's still seven of us left.
But as each one goes by, as each person goes by,
you notice just an empty spot on a couch or an empty spot
at the dinner table.
That is really a weird experience,
and it's awkward and hard to get used to in here.
You know, I can't imagine, you know, like,
for the last three people--
what that will be like.
Because you get so used to--
over this six week period, you get so used to that person,
you know, just being there, especially with Karen
because, you know, she--
you know, she kind of kept on me all the time.
But that was OK, you know.
You know, I didn't mind that, you know.
But you know, she would, you know,
make a comment to me about what I'm doing wrong and everything
else like that.
But you know, like I say, is I really wish her--
I really wish her the best of luck, you know,
whatever-- whatever ends up happening to her.
But I think it went out on a positive note,
and that's what I'm glad about.
NARRATOR: Jamie explains why she voted for Karen.
It was the toughest little thing.
I think you did the right thing, not telling her.
I do.
But it k*lled me.
Like, she wants to go.
She really misses her kids.
She's asked me to vote for her, you know what I mean?
You did the right thing.
And I think you did the right thing not telling her.
I do. - Do you?
Yeah, I definitely do.
Because--
Do you know how tough it was?
Oh, I can imagine!
Especially when she's sitting there being like,
I know you would never--
And I'm like, you don't know.
I mean, I just--
I tried to let her know, And I'm like, you know, it's tough.
And I'm like, and I tell her so intensely,
it's so tough for me, because I want you here.
But I know it's best for you to go, you know?
And it's like I try to reiterate that.
Yeah, I know.
And I didn't want to tell anyone else that she, you know,
wanted to leave that bad because I didn't want it to influence
anyone because I didn't know if that was one episode,
the one with me in the garden.
And you know, I know that she's quick to say bad things
about people, and I know that.
And part of me didn't even want to vote her out,
so that she wouldn't get it-- but she
wouldn't say those things.
So you know, I don't know.
But at the same time--
and then I wanted to tell her so bad in here,
because I knew that she'd understand
and that she'd forgive me.
And then when she did leave, if she did,
it wouldn't be that weird.
The good thing, though, is Karen said that she loved you.
If I knew it was the right thing to do to vote for Karen,
but if I didn't vote for her and she stayed,
that would benefit me.
Because-- you know, she'd never vote for me.
Totally.
And it would have benefited me in this game.
Yeah.
It's not really a game.
- But it wasn't what was right. - Yeah.
You know what I mean?
You did the right thing.
I mean, you did.
I don't know what to think about them
doing that, you know?
I'm having a really hard time.
I know.
That was something that you did confidentially.
You had used every ounce of your energy to keep it confidential.
And there it is.
They encouraged that.
And it's something that she asked me to do.
And it's like, it would have been
to my benefit not to nominate her
because I know she'd never nominate me.
It would be to my benefit.
But I thought I did the right thing.
But now, I'm like, great, are people
in the house going to think, oh, you're
the first woman that I like.
You mean like the people saying
that, like, you had been disloyal
or something like that? - Right, right.
And I'm just kind of worried about that.
Like, that's totally messed up that they would do that.
It sucks because I did what was right.
You know what I mean? - Yeah.
And it, like, would have helped--
it would have totally benefited me
not to-- not to vote for her because she'd never
vote for me.
But she wanted to go.
Um-hmm.
And then she cried in the garden for like an hour
and asked me to, and blah, blah, blah, and all that.
I don't know.
And before I wanted to come out and say, like,
who I voted for, so you wouldn't wonder if it was me,
or whatever.
But it's just like now I feel had.
If I were Monica, what would you tell me to do right now?
Get naked.
If you were Monica, I would tell you, keep your chin up.
You can't put the blame entirely on them
because they didn't tell Karen to say what she said.
She chose to.
She knew what she was doing.
You know what I'm saying?
What Karen thought she was doing--
she thought she was doing right by letting you know
at ease that she forgives you and she
wanted to apologize to Curtis.
She thinks what she did is right.
But she sees the footage tomorrow
night, knowing that you're all upset, you know.
I shouldn't have said that.
You know what I'm saying?
Does that help you any?
Yeah, thanks.
You're welcome.
[music playing]
Even though I stopped dating and all that,
it was still the best week for me
because I felt more comfortable.
Even being nominated, I was more comfortable.
And even today, I felt fine.
And even though I didn't want to leave, I was prepared to get up
and walk out the door.
And I realized that after they called my name.
I saw your face for a split second, when she said Josh.
What did my face look like?
Hmm?
What was it like?
Like a big surprise and if it next if I told to you so.
I don't know, just a bunch of stuff.
So you can be a crystal ball now.
I think that's crap.
Throw her out the window.
It's like tomorrow is, like, the whole new day for everything.
Mm, good.
The only regret I'll have about this place
is if I leave here being not who I am.
That's the only regret I'll have.
When you stand before God at the day,
he's not going to look to you and see
how good you are looking, how good your life was.
He's going to see how many scars you came out with.
Hmm, I think he looks at your heart.
Can't I have all of it?
It's what I want.
It's OK if you can't.
If you can't, you can't.
Come here.
