01x42 - Episode 42

Post by bunniefuu »

We should probably--

Chiquita!

--staying here, like, all day.

[plane engine]

Brit!

[whistle]

Brit!

Brittany.

Hurry up!

What?

[plane engine]

[laughter]

Wow.

[theme music]

ANNOUNCER: The house guests ask Jamie about beauty pageants.

OK, this is how bad I am pageants.

All I know is that you're in a bathing suit, you're in a gown,

and you do, like--

An interview.

--sing or something.

What-- what else do you do?

There's a talent round.

There's interview.

You do one on one.

So you do more than just the TV stuff?

Right. Yeah.

- OK. - Yeah.

When I went to Miss USA, I was there for over three weeks.

- Hm. - Yeah.

I remember you were saying that. That's right.

And you do tons of, like, one on one interviews with judges.

You do tons of stuff like that.

So yeah, it goes way beyond that.

Before you ever met me, what would you

think about someone who had done them or had won them

or whatever?

Brits?

I was so hard on them.

Like, my view was a little more negative.

Was it really?

Yeah.

But I like you.

[laughter]

And that's the-- that's [inaudible]..

That's all that matters.

A whole bunch.

I love Jamie.

Yay.

And more--

Did you-- let me ask you this.

Did you have, like, a stereotype in your mind?

Similar to how someone would have

a stereotype of someone who has piercings and green hair?

Yeah.

Well, I mean, there's going to be a small stereotype.

But it's not so much the people in it,

because I think, like, the idea of, like,

the beauty pageant in general--

I mean, just the name of it. Beauty pageant.

Mm-hm.

Someone is judging you and deciding whether or not

you're beautiful.

Let me ask you this.

Do you think it's, like, an external thing?

Like, external beauty pageant?

Or-- or a-- more on-- based on who you are.

How in the hell can judges ever know who you are?

Right, right.

When there's, like, categories.

Well, what if who you are isn't in a category?

At least in my opinion, there is a lot

of girls that were a whole lot prettier than me

at Miss Washington.

I don't think it was, like, an external thing completely.

Oh, no.

Don't say that.

Oh, oh.

That could not be true!

It is impossible!

Impossible!

--you have the glitter.

With the glow, the spark.

You're about to lean on the [inaudible]..

Ooh!

But you know, I always notice, it's like--

it seems like the people that win

are not necessarily the prettiest or the smartest,

whatever. - Right.

But they're the people that are--

just like the coolest people. - Mm-hm.

You know what I'm saying?

It's like they're the friendliest,

like the person you want to hang out with the most.

That-- and that-- that's kind of,

like, how I try and pick my winner or whatever.

If I watch it for like a half an hour, an hour or something.

Yeah.

And someone that just stands out because they're charismatic

or something like that.

I think a big thing about women that have won titles--

I mean, a lot of people don't know

what they do with their year.

I mean, you speak, you know, to times a year.

For Miss USA, if you win, you move that night to New York.

You live in a penthouse-- - Really?

--on top of Donald Trump's building.

- Really? - Yeah.

And you start working the next day.

It's a salaried position, and it's a job.

I just thought you got, like, boats and TVs and stuff.

- Yeah. - You know?

But--

I mean, you can.

You know what?

I'm going to watch one the next time I see it on TV.

You should do that.

I would laugh so hard if Brit did one.

[laughter]

And you won!

Wait-- wait--

[music playing]

Live from the "Big Brother" house.

Hit it, Hollywood.

OK.

Welcome to the first ever "Big Brother" Pageant.

Tonight we have seven contestants-- seven contestants

competing for the title of Miss "Big Brother"

and Mr. "Big Brother" .

Yes, Cassandra!

Seven weeks ago, it was all a mystery what life in the "Big

Brother" house would be.

A pack of housemates, we embarked upon the greatest

of adventures, opening up our hearts and lives

to this amazing TV venture.

OK.

OK.

I have created the new butt bread--

Oh my.

--OK?

It has many different seasonings.

Oh.

Comes in-- comes in many flavors--

OK.

Are we actually eating this later?

It looks really good.

OK.

Oh, Curtis.

Do you know what I would do for you?

What, baby?

What?

I would climb mountains for you.

I would swim oceans for you.

And--

Whoa!

--I would flip for you!

Got a microphone.

Oh, beautiful.

What would you do for me?

I would be the lord of the dance.

[laughter]

Not only will I just juggle three eggs,

but I'll do it standing on one leg.

[laughter]

[cheers]

[interposing voices]

- Number ! - Awesome!

And to show you they were real eggs.

[crack] - Oh!

Hey!

Hey, remember--

Yeah, Hollywood.

Hit it!

[cheers]

Welcome back.

We are now here for the swimsuit round.

ANNOUNCER: Yes.

So ladies and gentlemen, hold on to your seats.

[music playing]

And now the final round of the competition, the most

exciting round of the competition,

and possibly the most significant.

It is the spokesperson round.

I think that the judicial system

is OK as it stands because lawyers don't sue people.

People sue people.

Thank you!

[laughter]

Just education on disabilities,

and how people cope with them and get around

in their wheelchairs or crutches or walkers

or whatever it may be.

Just the education of that, I think,

would help make the world a little bit more

accessible to handicapped people.

Thank you.

Yeah, Eddie!

Good job.

I don't think one solution is going to work.

I think it's a multifaceted problem that requires action

on a number of fronts, including ensuring

that food that is already available

gets to the people who need it.

I think that what we need is a type of work program

that allows a certain number of the population

to come into certain states at certain times of the year.

Especially in California, I know that a lot of immigrants

are needed during harvesting periods.

Stick to that one golden rule, which is just

treat others how you want to be treated.

If every single person did that in the world,

it would be a whole different place.

So that's it.

ANNOUNCER: The house guests have made their decision.

Eddie was crowned Mr. "Big Brother,"

and it was a tie between Brittany and Cassandra

for Miss "Big Brother."

Oh, thank you.

[music playing]

Look, it's Mr. "Big Brother!"

Hi!

[cheers]

Oh, it's Mrs. "Big Brother!"

And it's weird.

This time it's bothering me a lot more who nominated me.

It's like I'm not letting myself go to the place

where I totally try to figure it out.

But for some reason, it bothers me that, you know,

two people in this house would rather seen

me leave than anybody else.

I think the dynamics of the house would change if I left,

and-- and I don't know.

Like, I feel like I bring something to this house, and--

but everybody does, you know.

But I'm just like, why would they want to get rid of me

per se instead of--

you know?

I mean, it's like I don't need to be everybody's favorite,

but I want to know why I'm not.

Like,

Our challenges are getting so cool, and I'm scared to leave.

I don't want to go back to the world.

I don't want to.

I'm not ready.

Hey.

Hey.

We're just visiting.

You want to join us?

Yeah.

I'm actually coming to lay down.

We were just talking about the nominations

and banishment and stuff.

Oh, yeah?

I think I'm getting more worried

because I got % of the people that like me and that--

Yeah.

And whenever-- here's my thing.

Whenever there's, like, somebody that people really like,

there's also a lot of people that

really dislike that person.

But yet there's two people that live with me that aren't

really happy with me at all.

But Brittany, do you really think that?

I mean, I-- you know, I got two votes too, and I--

I don't even go there.

I'm not even, like--

they had to come up with two names.

If you've got in who like you,

Brittany, that's a huge, huge number.

There are five other people who have to share votes,

you know, in this thing.

And I just don't think that there's going to be enough

dislike to-- to vote you out.

Like, I have to force myself to not go to a bad place.

Really?

Yeah.

Even though you're one of six people nominated, marked?

Yeah.

Because I just-- I don't know.

I don't know why.

Just-- I know it's totally stupid.

Like, rationally I know it's so stupid.

It's not stupid.

It's-- it's a-- you know, a natural human response.

And this is a good way to be marked

for banishment, Brittany.

You can't make this--

I mean, it could've been, you know, just two people,

and that would have been terrible.

But you need to get your head together so that if it does,

you don't take yourself through all kind of trips.

And I really don't believe that it's personal.

[music playing]

ANNOUNCER: The house guests receive

their next weekly challenge, Jigsaw Puzzle.

They must decide what percentage of their grocery allowance

they will wager.

[interposing voices]

This is my shirt.

It's us on the couch.

It's us on the couch!

And here's the sign, the "Big Brother" sign.

Read the challenge. What is it?

It's just-- nothing.

It just says "Seven House Guests, one

jigsaw puzzle, , pieces.

Assemble by Friday at noon."

Yep.

What if this is the cover of "TV Guide?"

Here's someone's arm.

Jamie, just dump the pieces.

We have to go through them anyway.

- Yeah. - Well, what do you say, guys?

Well, we can do the outside frame.

Are we going for the gusto?

I'm in for it.

Give me a pile.

%.

%.

I agree.

ANNOUNCER: The winners of the "Big Brother" beauty pageant

were treated to a meal of their choice.

It was so funny.

I've been talking about lobster for, like, three days,

and Josh and I had this huge talk--

- That's beautiful. - Yeah, on the dance floor.

And I'm like, oh my god.

I'm like, that's what I want.

Lobster.

Let's let these guys have their peace.

Should we all just split all of it?

Let's-- let's eat while it's hot.

Oh, this is good prime rib, Brit.

I'll split it with you.

Mm-hm.

Sure.

Is it really a rule that you cannot share it at all?

Yeah.

Oh my god.

I got greens, y'all.

There's a salad here too, sweetie.

Wow.

Anybody else for greens? - Mm-hm.

Not right now.

What about corn bread?

What shall the peasantry eat?

Oh.

Cereal.

[laughs]

Cassandra, do you want some of this prime rib?

I may have a taste later.

Oh, I love lobster.

Brit, some butter for your lobster.

Mm-hm.

So glad I can't smell it from here.

Oh!

I feel like a vulture right now, to tell you the truth.

- I know. - It's-- it's weird, Eddie.

Awesome.

This is-- this is immaculate.

This is excellent.

Mm mm mm mm mm.

I think we should sit in here and mope.

Isn't it nice to be above the rest

of the people in the house?

You are such a mess.

If you could have asked for any meal,

what would you have asked for, though?

Filet mignon, lobster.

Curtis?

Prime rib.

Prime rib is good.

Mm mm mm.

I'm eating collard greens.

This is so awesome.

I feel like I'm just inhaling it.

Me too.

Because it's so good.

A baked potato with everything.

What about desserts?

While you're thinking of the dessert, I'll go.

Baked potato with everything.

We're the same.

OK, baked potato with everything.

Baked potato in here, anybody?

- I'm good for now. - I'm not a big fan.

All right, then I'll just leave it in there for now.

What three-course--

With a lobster tail.

Did you want this last chunk of lobster?

Sure.

Thank you.

With a garlic roll.

I want six of them.

Oh, god.

I'm so full, you guys.

I told Curtis, I said, we'll be in the same.

We'll eat.

You get the same effect, you know?

- Yeah, we'll be full. - Yeah.

You'll be full.

No, they were told by Eddie that they couldn't give

any of the leftovers to us. - No.

Yeah, that's true.

But if we eat, we'll be full.

Then-- - Yeah.

--you know, you get the same effect.

And there's fries too.

- I'll eat them too. - Oh, god.

I'm so full I'm going to die.

I'm, like, this close to death.

All right, bust open that cake, Brit.

I know you can stuff that down.

Oh.

I don't know if I can.

There's something in-- there's a quote in that quote book

about eating, and it says something like,

"The poorest man and the richest man both feel

the same after they've eaten." - True.

After they've eaten--

That's true.

Give a-- oh, that's too big.

Well, try.

Are you guys hungry yet?

Yeah, I could eat.

All right, should we make--

- Yeah. - Go for it.

All right.

Let's do it.

That means we have to get up.

They're probably almost done out there.

Probably savoring it.

Every little bite.

Every little bite.

That's too big.

Here, you guys have to have-- you have

to split this shake with me.

- Yeah. - How was it?

It was bad.

Everything was real bad.

There were--

I can't believe they won't let you guys even eat leftovers.

Everything was bad, guys.

It was--

I mean, it sucked.

Was the prime rib tough and all, or was it good?

It was rough.

It was tough and all-- the lobster, it was so fishy.

I'm trying to live vicariously.

Tell me how good it was.

It was so good!

It was so good!

And it had warm butter that we dipped it in,

and it was awesome!

[music playing]

We should probably--

Chiquita!

--staying here like all day.

[plane engine]

Brit!

[whistle]

Brit!

Brittany.

Hurry up!

What?

[plane engine]

[laughter]

Wow.

Oh my god.

"Vote George, Save Brittany."

Right there.

It's flying in the sun right now.

[laughter]

I'm gone again.

Come here, sweetie.

Who would pay for something like that?

I'm out of here.

[laughter]

I'm toast.

That's weird.

Hey, Brit.

It's cool.

Come here, George.

It's cool.

Everyone loves a [inaudible]

Remember what I said, if I got to go, it's OK.

It's cool.

That's kind of a mean sign.

It's OK!

Why fly over here?

And why are they flying over people who can't vote?

[laughter]

It's OK.

It don't bother me any.

You know, I bet it's someone that's just trying

to create drama in the house.

It's Karen.

[laughter]

Oh, it's Karen again!

She couldn't get us out of the house.

They want me gone!

That's hilarious.

I wonder if it's one crazy person.

I wouldn't think anything of it.

It's OK, Brit.

Brit, I think it's cool.

And I mean it, OK?

OK.

I--

I have no fans, though?

You're so-- first clean and now this?

Cool, Brit.

You definitely have a fan there.

OK.

I'm a little scared of that fan.

[laughter]

Yeah.

You can't get too freaked out about it.

Is George OK, though?

I mean, that's the--

He'll probably be OK.

But we will look into him next.

Yeah, we have-- he has--

It's-- it's triage.

Maybe I should talk to him, because he's

probably more upset about it.

Like, I just feel it's just a little weird, you know?

Like, part of me is like, cool, somebody paid for a plane.

Yeah!

You know?

And then part of me is just like, oh my god,

I can't believe they singled out George.

And that's totally hurtful.

And part of me is like, that's a little weird.

I know.

Maybe your dad bought the plane.

Yeah, my dad would be like, vote Brittany.

Get her a*s home.

Save George.

Vote Brittany, bring her home so we can fix her.

Maybe George totally annihilates you

in the red room, that's why.

[laughter]

I said that to George.

I'm like, what do you say about me in the red room?

And he's like, look at the plane!

[laughter]

He-- he wouldn't have said anything, would he?

- I-- no. - I doubt it.

No.

No.

Everybody has bad days.

ANNOUNCER: George makes another final plea.

I am Genoa Big Salami.

I am here to make a plea for George.

I own convenience stores across the country,

especially in the Midwest, in the state of Illinois

especially.

George, he is one of my finest customers.

He buys everything from beer to soda pops to candy bars.

I urge all my colleagues in the convenience store industry

to vote for George.

He has been one of our most excellent customers.

If you can spare $, which I'm sure we all can,

I urge you spend the $ to keep George in the house.

He has been most kind to all of us convenience store owners,

and also most kind to all the convenience store people

that come to us.

George needs your $ phone call.

Please.

Just $ for George.

Thank you very much.

[music playing]

Into the grass because you must pee and poop.

OK, that wet over there.

I won't put you in the wetness.

OK, let's go.

You have to go potty.

Go potty.

[bark]

I poop and pee in front of them too.

This is the sacrifice you make for the experience

of "Big Brother."

Nope.

You have to poop.

You have to poop.

[barking]

I know.

But you have to.

[bark]

I know.

I could never be mad at you.

I love you too much.

Poor little chickens.

I've ignored the chickens because I have you.

No poop.

We got some pee in though.

MAN [SINGING]: Live, because we're living today.

Feel the thrill of life, and don't be afraid.

ANNOUNCER: AOL is CBS's internet partner.

The "Big Brother" website address

is www.BigBrother.com.

AOL members can also use the AOL keyword "Big Brother."

MAN [SINGING]: Ooh.

[music playing]
