[water gurgling]
Oh.
Oh, he gets the trampoline!
- No, you won't - You won't do it.
[laughter]
He won't do it.
[inaudible].
- He totally will not. - Uh huh.
[interposing voices]
I got five bucks--
I got five bucks says you'll do it.
I think you don't.
Another three rounds says he will.
[inaudible]!
Ah!
[laughter]
Yes!
That was my first time on naked trampoline!
Woo hoo!
[splash]
[music - theme, "big brother"]
[inaudible].
You were in sixth grade, when you got sick?
No.
Um, yeah.
Just thought of sixth grade.
We had just done the Halloween party at my school,
and the next day, I was at the hospital, on November .
Did you feel bad before that?
Yeah.
Yeah, my leg was hurting for a whole month, all of October.
[burps] Then it got real bad towards the end,
like, I couldn't walk. - Really?
Just pain in your leg, and you weren't nauseous or anything?
Yeah, no, just the pain.
I'd wake up in the middle of the night screaming.
Wow.
How long did it take for them to diagnose?
That month.
I was sick, whatever, feeling well.
I went to the doctor, like, mid-October.
And they said, it's probably growing pains.
If it's still bothering you in a week or two, come back.
So it was still bothering me two weeks later,
which brought me to the day after Halloween,
which was November st.
And a guy took an x-ray, and he says, well, you know,
I've been doing this job for some years.
He said, you know, I'm not sure.
But I see a shadow right here.
I don't know what it is, so go to a bone specialist.
So that day, later that day, that was, like, in the morning.
And later that day, by mid-afternoon, I was in St.
John's Hospital on Long Island.
Wow.
This guy said, just by looking at the x-rays,
like, I'm .% sure it's a malignant
tumor in your left knee.
So I jumped in an ambulance, shot out to Mt.
Sinai Hospital that day, hospitalized
three months straight.
Probably in mid-February, I came back out of the hospital.
Yeah, it was a while.
Christmas, New Year's--
New Year's was nice in the hospital.
I got to overlook Central Park and see all the fireworks.
[inaudible] in the hospital.
This stuff is kind of [inaudible]..
You don't realize and appreciate what you have
until it's taken away from you.
And I thought I learned that when I was younger, you know?
You know, being a young kid, and you know, eight, nine, --
years old.
Running around and doing this and that.
And then I lost my leg, and I realized how much it meant
to have two legs, more or less.
And every time I see a junkie or a full blown alcoholic
just pissing their life away, it makes my stomach turn,
you know?
Because I look at somebody.
I'm, like, yeah, this guy's got two perfectly good legs.
And yet he's just you know wasting it all away by sticking
a hypo in his arm or drowning it in a bottle,
you know what I'm saying?
I'm like, I would love to have-- you know?
I would k*ll to have two legs just for a day, just
to be able to walk on the beach or maybe go run out in a field.
I would just k*ll for that.
And yet, you know, I see--
even just like my little brother.
Man, I love my brother.
Don't get me wrong.
But when we were younger, he used
to just sit around in the house all day and play video games.
And that just blew my mind.
I'm, like, man, you know?
How can this kid just sit here and play video games all day
and not be out running around and playing, riding his bike,
skateboarding, doing whatever it is.
And it would just blow my mind.
And I just-- you know?
I don't know, just things like that just irritate me.
I've seen people with perfectly good capabilities
just drown them away and in senseless substance.
[music playing]
[music - theme, "big brother"]
OK, and there's another one out there.
That's a good idea.
Not so good for me, no.
SaveEddie.com?
[laughter]
That's ridiculous.
[laughter]
That kind of saddens me that they think--
that kind of saddens me that they have,
like, a SaveEddie.com site.
[laughter]
Like I need saving.
Oh, [inaudible].
Inside.
Well, I hope you know that's not true.
I mean, you're just a lovable person.
I'm not laughing at you.
I'm laughing that I have a website like that.
Oh, it saddens me that I need a website to save my a*s.
That's not true.
It makes me mad, too, because on the live show,
I went off for about five minutes about Eddie
saying how he deserved to win and all that stuff,
right, on the live show.
And then for someone to fly a banner like that.
I don't know if it's good or bad that I have to have
a website, SaveEddie.com.
Do you think that's good or bad?
I think it's good that you have so many fans that
would do something like that. - Yeah, I do, too.
Yes, but still, it's SaveEddie.
Why not just PraiseEddie.com?
But SaveEddie?
Oh, no!
Maybe he couldn't bring himself to praise Eddie.
[laughter]
Save him? Yes.
Praise him?
No, I don't think so.
I could not do that.
Have you seen the tapes of the boy?
Have you seen him?
Oh, no, save him at best.
Praise him, never!
[laughter]
All right.
I don't want to stare at this anymore.
Are you going to bask in the glory of SaveEddie
or come on in?
[laughter]
All right.
SaveEddie.com.
Thank you.
Getting weird.
Oh, don't worry.
You know it's true that nobody here thinks that.
Mhm.
This is cool.
Oh.
It sucks, though.
Like, it sucks in asking the only woman,
then you get all the plane, and great.
- Getting weird. - I know.
I know.
But I think there'll be more.
What is that, three today?
Mhm.
And it's not even [muted] noon.
[door closing]
[sighs] I don't want to get your panties in a bunch.
You know what?
I'm more sensitive to stuff like that.
Oh, don't be sensitive.
That's probably why they sent it.
Tough it up.
I'm going to go outside and do a set of close gripped
bench presses for my triceps.
Because there's light weights on the bench.
[interposing voices] - --spot you?
All right.
[door closes]
[music playing]
NARRATOR: Josh's challenge as the saboteur
is to set the potato clock back a half hour each day.
So far, he remains undetected.
It's everything I can do to keep from cracking up
about resetting the clock and all that stuff.
I almost busted up laughing right now in the kitchen
when someone said, oh, my goodness.
It's getting dark early.
Wow, it's, like, almost six, and it's dark out.
No one's suspected the clock yet.
I don't know.
There's been a few things mentioned about the clock
and everything else.
And I think Curtis might be onto it.
But I'm not sure.
Did somebody replug the things?
Because the clock looks better.
Ah, it's absorbed the water.
Or the water is working.
All right, yeah.
[inaudible].
Last night I was all sneaky and did it
after everyone went to sleep.
And then today, I said, you know what?
Be crazy and do it right in front of them, and that way,
they won't suspect anything.
Oh, cool.
Is this right?
If it's working, it's right.
Must be wrong.
Just put them in deep. You have to put them in deep.
Oh, is that the way?
[music playing]
Yeah, put them all-- put all the way.
Just so that there's nothing [inaudible]..
Eddie, does this thing need [inaudible] to start back up?
Yes.
Hold on.
Get a tack.
Is : the right time?
Yeah.
Put it in at :.
It's about four minutes off.
The funny thing about all this thing
is I don't care about winning the TV and everything else.
And I know that Curtis and Eddie have their eyes set on it.
And so I'm just out there and just having
a good time playing with it.
It's fun.
[music playing]
Sounds like when--
[inaudible]?
Oh, I wouldn't have.
Ah.
It's low.
Hi, all.
Chick--
Chickenman lives.
Chickenman lives!
Did he say he would send one or no?
Uh huh.
He said he would never send one, right?
Didn't he say that?
He might send one.
Chickenman lives.
He spelled it wrong.
Yeah, so it could be him.
[laughter]
That's cold, man.
[laughter]
We think it's from George.
Look at it.
[laughter]
Well, hello, George, if that's from you.
Hi, George!
Even if not from you, hi, George!
[laughter]
Do you think he's in it?
[laughter]
That would be so funny if he's in it.
If it is, you know he's, like, giggling,
having the time of his life.
Let's wave.
Chickenman!
Look, George flew the coop.
[laughter]
Slow down.
Slow down!
I want a good view.
[laughter]
Hee hee hee, sorry!
Sorry!
[inaudible].
Sorry.
[laughter]
Chickenman, that's so funny.
Bye, chickenman.
Bye.
[music - theme, "big brother"]
[music - theme, "big brother"]
Yo, I make this hat look good, yo.
What up?
OK.
Yo, what up, kid?
I make this hat look dope.
Come all up in my piece.
What do you think of that?
Yo, wait.
Curtis, what up, kid?
[laughter]
I'm rocking this fly hat.
You know, Ed, that's so great.
No, man.
You got to call it dope or wicked cool or something.
Wicked awesome.
I'm rocking it all up in this Jimmy f
[water gurgling]
Y'all can do a chicken buffet.
What up, kid?
- Look at this clown. - Dude, he's a total clown.
Yo, what up.
Kid?
Come all up in his piece.
Chicken buffet.
What more can I say?
Cut up the food with no delay.
Yo, what up, kid?
All up in this chicken filet piece.
Chicken filet.
Yo, I'm from the East Coast, so I go [inaudible]..
Backwards?
- No, you got it right. - [inaudible].
[laughter]
East Coast!
What up, kid?
All right, time to go back into reality.
Flashback into Eddie world.
Yep.
Waiting for you right over here.
Ain't no use [inaudible].
Man, I'm going to be the b*tch again.
I'm going to be the b*tch in this fly hat, though.
This is a cool hat.
I ain't even rocking on [inaudible]..
This is my hat.
Assume the b*tch position, Eddie--
Eddie, the b*tch.
[crutches thudding against wall]
[music playing]
Oh.
Do you think you would--
I think I've asked you.
I guess you wouldn't date Brit after the show, would you?
When I saw her in the video, I missed her.
[laughter]
Yeah, I know.
Like, there's still feelings there for me.
Yeah.
I just don't know if it's wise or not.
I guess you'll find out when you're not in this--
Yeah, that's the whole thing.
I'm not in this situation and everything else.
There's something to her, man.
I just-- I liked her so much.
And it was just, like, I questioned
myself, because I was in here.
Uh huh.
And I was, like, OK, why am I feeling like this?
Just because I'm in here?
Yeah.
But you know, and then she was gone.
And then I saw her, and, like, I still don't know.
You know?
So once we get out, and I spend time around her outside,
I'll see. - Yeah.
That's true.
I don't even know how she feels at this point.
Who knows?
Maybe now that she's out, she's, like, why did I even waste
my time with him, you know?
No, I don't think so.
And it kind of gave me confidence, too,
when she requested to talk to me and everything.
I know.
And wanted to help you out.
Yeah.
And insofar as--
And it's funny because we were like so opposite
and everything in so many ways.
But somehow it clicked, you know.
I don't know.
It just worked.
Yeah.
All those dance times that we spent dancing out there--
like, we spent hours dancing together.
I never got bored with her once.
Yeah.
And I'm just, like, we just had a good time.
I love Brit.
She's great.
She's so funny.
Singer on the video was hilarious.
I know.
I know.
I guess I've never really asked you point blank,
were you hitting on Jordan?
No.
Me and Jordan were just flirting, like, constantly.
You were flirting.
Yeah.
Yeah, definitely.
But I was just basically physically attracted to her.
That was-- it pretty much ended there.
Well, she's beautiful.
Yeah, it just pretty much ended there.
That was about it.
But with Britney, you know, I really got to care
about her and everything else.
And Cassandra said that Karen was
there when she got out, right?
Yeah.
And who else?
Just Karen?
She happened-- she only said Karen's name, you know?
She didn't necessarily say that people weren't there.
You know what?
That's a good sign, too.
I wasn't going to do it before.
But you've convinced me now that I'm just talking about it.
I'm going to request that's Britney's there.
She'll be there anyway, whether you requested it
or not.
Well, I'll request it to make sure that she
knows that I want her there.
Oh.
[music playing]
NARRATOR: Curtis suspects that Josh
is sabotaging the potato clock.
I'm really tired all of a sudden.
Hm?
You're tired?
[alarm sounds]
[ball thuds against wall]
[laughter]
Ooh, bear.
You know one thing you'll have to get used to just now being
Josh forever, instead of JA.
Well, only my family called me that.
My other friends called me Josh.
Oh, OK.
Yeah.
Or by my last name.
Yeah.
See, that's going to go out the window.
[laughter]
Definitely.
[music playing]
What time is it?
It's, like, five to one.
[inaudible].
And she's, like, all wound up.
I don't know if I can just throw her in Jamie's bed.
[laughter]
[inaudible].
Might be funny, though.
[camera screeching, whirring]
[door closes]
[music playing]
It's kind of nasty, but I'll eat it.
Later.
[laughs]
[music - theme, "big brother"]
NARRATOR: Last night, when Josh changed
the clock he inadvertently stopped the time at : AM.
[music playing]
I guess I wanted to make my guess
in that secret agent game.
Well, I'm pretty sure the covert operation is
to sabotage the potato clock.
And I'm pretty sure it's Josh.
NARRATOR: Are you sure?
Yeah.
CREW: OK.
NARRATOR: Tune in tomorrow night,
and see Josh find out that he's lost the saboteur
challenge to Curtis.
[music - theme, "big brother"]
[SINGING] If we're living today, feel the thrill of life
and don't be afraid.
NARRATOR: America Online is CBS's internet partner.
You can get to the "Big Brother" website by logging
on to BigBrother.com or AOL keyword "Big Brother."
[SINGING] Oh.
