NARRATOR: Previously on "Big Brother," head of household
Jason went against the house by refusing to nominate Roddy.
I nominated this week you, Jerry, and you, Amy.
NARRATOR: This did not sit well with his strategic partner
Danielle.
Why, Jason?
Why?
NARRATOR: Then the power of veto came crashing down--
Congratulations, Jason!
NARRATOR: --giving Jason one more chance
to change his nominations.
So I have decided not to use the power of veto.
NARRATOR: His decision left the two nominees on the hot seat.
JULIE: Gerry, you are evicted from the Big Brother house.
NARRATOR: With only six of the original house
guests remaining, the head of household competition
was crucial.
JULIE: Congratulations, Marcellas.
You are the new head of household.
NARRATOR: Who will Marcellas choose
to nominate for eviction?
Find out tonight on "Big Brother ."
[theme music]
JULIE: By a vote of four to zero, Amy,
you can unpack your bags.
Gerry, you are evicted from the Big Brother house.
I vote to evict Gerry.
Gerry.
Gerry.
Gerry.
I felt very sad to see kind of the dad of our family leaving.
When he left, the gravity of our relationship just hit me.
And I really did believe that he was my friend.
I spent so much time with the guy.
We played chess all the time.
We chatted about the world.
I love talking with him, and I'm going to miss him.
I'm sad when anyone leaves.
But on the other hand, I'm here to take care of business.
Nothing personal, just business.
Take care.
Take care, guys.
Say hi to the family.
Will do.
It was so unreal that he saved me,
and I'm here when I wasn't supposed to be.
The cold, hard fact is he used the veto and he saved me.
And because of him using the veto, I'm here.
I just felt that responsibility, and I felt the gratitude.
And I felt everything, and it was difficult.
It was really sad, but I was so in shock
over what had just happened when Julie pulled her little stunt--
JULIE: By a vote of four to zero, Amy--
--and called my name first.
I just, uh-- I went blank.
Then I did the whole Miss America thing again.
I was like, uh!
Did you?
Yeah, I was like, uh!
Grabbed my chest like I'm going into coronary.
It was-- it was entertaining, but it was a shock,
too, a shock to your system.
Made you wake up a little bit.
Everyone-- who did what?
Yeah.
You know what I mean?
It was just one of those.
I could just feel the prick going in my back.
I was like, uh.
[laughing]
She fooled us all.
I was like, who-- what?
And when she said, Amy, you can unpack your bags,
I was like, ooh, that's scandal-- ooh, that's so good.
She's so good.
I was shocked because I didn't know what everybody was--
I didn't-- - Yeah, well, you were out.
Yeah.
So I was kind of like, I think I know what people said.
But they could-- - They lied to me.
--they could do it. You know?
I didn't get anybody, like, give me your word.
Are you-- - I did!
Oh, yeah? Good for you.
[laughter]
Come on!
I'm not leaving yet!
Six down.
And four to go.
Wow.
The half way point, ladies and gentlemen.
Congratulations.
Give yourselves a round of applause.
Congratulations.
[applause]
I don't feel like I've made it.
But thank you all very much. - Wait a minute.
Wait a minute. Wait a minute.
You haven't been here half the time.
I wanted to win today.
I wanted to be the head of household.
Congratulations, Marcellas.
You are the new head of household.
I couldn't be happier.
I'm so happy Marcellas won.
Here you go.
Thank you, Julie!
It would have been nice if I had it this week.
It would have been nice to be safe.
I made history!
I'm the first one to do it twice!
Yeah!
I win head of household.
Everybody's going, congratulations,
but Amy is ecstatic.
I think she was actually happier than I was.
Quickly to the couch.
Quickly.
I am so excited to be HOH, because I need so many things.
Woo!
Oh, my god!
[cheering]
When I walked into the HOH room tonight,
I found the most amazing thing ever.
A picture of myself, my mother, and my two brothers.
It made me so happy and sad at the same time.
Oh, my god.
I got my pillow!
And my CD.
Ooh.
Jill Scott.
Who loves Jill Scott?
Woo! I love Jill Scott!l
Volume one!
Yes!
This is my blanket from my house.
That's from my sister.
Aw.
I found a letter from my sister.
"You are a celebrity."
[laughing] "Donna also wanted me to tell you
she misses you and sends her love.
I talked with David as well.
he wanted me to tell you to lose the socks with the flip-flops."
[chatter]
[laughter]
[buzzer]
"I only had a page to write, so let me say goodbye for now.
I love you and can't wait to see you again, Buzzy.
Love, Lemaine." - Yes!
Great.
That letter was so important because, you know,
it just let me know that they still love me.
Yippee!
- That is great, Marcellas. - Nice job, Marcellas.
Nice job!
[whistling]
[sighing]
Sit down here.
[sighing]
I'm still freaking out.
Can I tell you something?
Yeah.
And take this-- just I can be this honest with you,
all right?
OK.
It's very hard for everybody every week.
And the thing like the first lady thing
makes everybody-- it's really uncomfortable.
Quickly to the couch.
It just makes you feel like, OK, now there's only three
possible people in the house.
Even if that is the case--
OK.
--you know?
OK, now there's one less person, I have a chance of going.
up.
And that's about it.
OK.
Thank you for telling me that.
I won't say anything.
Yeah.
I know it's really not in my best interests
to tell you that, but that's part of it, too.
In fact, that's really also a lot to do with it.
What?
It makes it seem like that you two are the last couple left.
Yeah. Yeah.
I know.
And we're not.
- I know, but-- - And that's what I told Jason.
We're not at all.
I know.
He's going right to her, thinking that she's got my ear.
But what he doesn't know is she doesn't.
Yep.
Amy has given me a million reasons to distrust her.
And I tell her, don't hang out with Roddy.
I mean, she funnels information to people all the time.
Amy has been my best friend within the house.
And these kind of decisions are tearing me apart.
Everyone else in the house almost
demands that Roddy be dealt with,
that Roddy be eliminated now.
But then there's the strategic part of it
that's like, if Danielle is truly the frontrunner,
then Danielle could walk away with the money.
She could get the votes at the end.
So it might be time to deal with Danielle and get her out
if you really want to stay here and you
really want to win the money.
I was hoping that Roddy would win
and Roddy would maybe do that, since they seem
to be each other's nemesis.
But here it sits in my lap, and I have to figure
out what I'm going to do.
Think he's worried?
Yeah.
Roddy has to be feeling a little concerned.
He has to be sweating b*ll*ts.
If he gets put up, I don't want the awkwardness
of him coming to me for a deal.
I mean, wouldn't you?
If you thought you were on your way out,
you'd try to get a deal with somebody.
I think Marcellas is going to put
Jason and probably Roddy up.
He's going to put Jason up?
Yeah.
Because then he can't campaign against Jason.
Mhm.
That would be low.
You think he'll tell Jason first?
No.
Marcellas is not like that.
It's scary.
[laughing] It's really, really scary.
[sighing]
If Marcellas was to nominate Jason and Roddy,
I'm not OK with that.
Because you don't know what people are going to do.
I don't like taking risks.
I absolutely have worries.
I might be on the block.
I don't know that I'm safe.
It would be smart, even though I don't agree with it,
if Marcellas did it that way.
Because he can't campaign against you.
- Yeah. - He can't.
I don't like it.
Yeah.
I don't like it at all.
I don't want you up, period.
No, I don't, either.
He may nominate Amy and Roddy.
Yeah.
That would be smart.
Then he'll tell Amy, you don't have to worry about anything.
He's a little worried about what she
might have going on with Roddy.
It's very apparent.
I don't know, Jason.
I don't, either.
I don't like it.
He may put me up against Roddy.
I don't like it.
I mean, he's not going to put both of us up.
If you walked out the door--
To put--
--I will get so dirty in this game, it won't even be funny.
[sighing] Nice job.
Roddy's a good looking guy.
Good job, Amy.
Athletic girl.
Amy is a woman.
She's single.
She lookin' at Roddy.
I've got to get a date for the fair, Roddy.
I mean, I would take you if I was in town.
You don't ride roller coasters.
You wouldn't be a lot of fun.
Well, I thought all you wanted to do was kiss in lover's lane.
I didn't realize I had-- - I'm a hooker.
All right? I do.
I do.
That is all I want to do.
Why did Amy want Chiara out the house?
Maybe because she wanted to flirt with Roddy.
[kissing]
I just think Roddy seems a little bit more
relaxed since ding dong the witch has died, so to speak.
Hm, hm, hm.
Cut.
Amy wanted Chiara gone so that she could take
Chiara's place as the, like--
as the cute girl in the house.
She flirts it and she flaunts it.
She gets Roddy's attention, and it's working.
I mean, just--
Look at that flexible little girl.
Amy, tell them to turn the cameras off
when you do that, for god's sakes.
Get all kinds of ideas in my little boy's mind.
Now, all of a sudden, she's running around without a bra
on, and we're seeing a lot more of her n*pples.
Sit down and play with me.
You know what I like about you?
You can give you a hard time.
And if you're in--
if you're in good with Amy, I think
that once you get inside of you, that you
can almost do no wrong.
And I love that about you.
Yeah.
I think that's great.
You know, I know that so well because I'm the same way.
Yeah.
Does that sometimes make you feel easily played?
Not really, because when someone understands
that and respects that--
Yeah.
--it's a beautifully real relationship.
Yeah.
Roddy's biggest weapon in this house is his charisma.
I realize how smart you are.
Thank you.
I see Amy enjoying flirting with Roddy.
Roddy uses that to his advantage.
When you outclass people, like you do,
people want to compete against it.
They want to-- they want to-- they want
to fight little battles, like boyfriend battles
and, like, social battles.
Because they can't fight on your b*ttlefield.
And we were just talking about stuff.
I'm not commenting.
I'm just-- you know, I'm so skeptical of saying anything.
You know, I don't know.
I'm just kind of, um--
as long as, um, you know, I don't say anything,
I can't be humiliated.
- Let's do it. - You have your goggles?
Yep.
Roddy came up with the idea that we should play water polo.
Let's go out and introduce ourselves to the team.
Guys, we're ready.
Yes!
And when they stripped down and they had those purple
speedos on, oh my god!
[laughing]
Stop staring at my smallness.
I wasn't looking at you, man!
Water polo.
The best game that the "Big Brother" cast has come up with.
[laughing]
[chatter]
[laughing]
It's actually full contact water polo using
our little duckies and some laundry baskets
at each end of the pool.
[laughing]
It started off co-ed, which turned
into somehow the girls versus guys,
which is fine for the guys.
Ah! Oh my god!
Help! Help!
Jay, way to be!
Jay's got wood! - Hey!
[laughter]
Amy takes his head and shoves his head in her friends.
- Ah! - Wait a minute.
Watch it!
Why does she like water polo?
Because she can jump on the boys.
Gotta give it to her.
We'd like to introduce you to the secret weapons.
[laughing]
My technique is taking the duck and hiding it
in between myself.
Where's the duck?
It's right there!
Oh, no!
Oh!
The object of the game is to score points.
But beyond that, it's to survive.
Hold it!
Amy, jump at him!
I'm trying!
[laughing]
Elbowing, kicking.
Anything goes.
I guess I am the most physical player in the game.
Yeah!
Oh, wait, wait, wait.
That point in the wee-wee.
Her foot went out in an area that's highly
sensitive to the male players.
I have what they call FIB, potent ba*ls.
I'm vicious.
I slap, kick, bite, pull hair, pinch, scratch.
Amy's secret weapon is her claws.
You ready?
No, no, no!
Goal!
Yeah!
Ah!
Woo!
Turned into a bit of a bloodbath.
What?
Oh, my gosh.
Oh, my god!
Oh, my--
I'm so sorry!
[laughing]
Wow!
Look at those ones!
She drew blood!
I had to go for full medical attention
with Neosporin and band-A*DS from Amy's tiger claws.
[laughing] They love the fact they're getting
pinched and scratched and--
they love it.
They enjoy every minute of it.
Ah!
Chest to the stomach.
They just keep playing!
The "Big Brother " water polo champions.
Woo!
Woo!
Favorite TV show of all time?
"Charlie's Angels."
The house guests are horny.
Favorite episode?
"Angels in Chains."
I sit around talking to myself!
I'm Danielle.
I tell you what to do, and you better do it.
That's why we're getting rid of him.
We figured if we're on the show, he's upstaging all of us.
I find myself really interesting,
so I find myself having a deep, in-depth conversation.
God forbid I should go to bed early
with this pack of jackals.
And she needs to say, you're under arrest, sucker!
[laughing] Oh, my god!
But I do like "Scooby Doo."
Oh, my god.
And my favorite episode of "Scooby Doo"
is "The Snow Beast."
[laughing] Oh, my god!
I'm beginning to agree with Roddy's quote,
"Humans are my least favorite animals."
[singing] That's what I want for Christmas.
I want a big cardigan with a belt.
But I want that Tarzan print.
And I want it to look just like David Soul
off "Starsky and Hutch."
I'm my favorite conversationalist.
If I had a son, I'd name him Huck.
My third favorite cartoon is probably "Speed Racer."
Huck.
That would drive my mother insane.
She'd be like, why are you going to name that baby Huck?
In this crazed environment, my talking to myself
is definitely therapy.
But why?
Because I said so.
But it's like k*lling Bambi.
So what?
If his mama was here, we k*lled her, too.
Hm.
[exhaling]
H, I-- yeah, I. And then J, K. What was L?
Just basic?
Lisa is fluent in American Sign Language.
And just out of something to do, she pretty much taught
me the sign language alphabet.
Q, R. That's where I get stuck.
R.
R. OK.
Are you going to trust me?
Hands behind your back.
OK.
I've studied sign language for a while now.
I had a friend of mine that's been in my life for a while.
And he can hear, but his parents can't.
And the first time that I, like, saw a real conversation
between him and his mother, I watched
it because I liked the beauty of it and the expression in it.
D
D.
I used to know that.
E.
I've talked about signing and working
with deaf children I think a lot in the house, actually.
But Danielle surprised me.
Sorry.
R, S.
No, it's-- whatever.
T, U, V, W, X, Y.
Do you speak sign language?
If you've been holding out on me the whole time--
No, I can't.
All I know is the alphabet.
- But that's enough to-- - That's all
We should talk.
[laughing]
I told Lisa--
I said, ah, Lisa we can really start communicating.
And we could have been doing some serious plotting.
Sign language has become I think mine
and Danielle's secret weapon.
In situations like the conversation that we had
with Amy, Amy started telling a story, but without giving
too much detail.
I mean things that happen that are just--
I don't know.
Never mind.
OK.
So who was that person?
She goes, I'm not going to say who that person is.
And Lisa's going, R-O-D-D-Y. And I went, mhm.
I know it's R-O-D-D-Y. [laughing]
Did we ever do O?
Yeah.
No, we didn't.
We skipped it every time.
The only person that we'd have to be careful of
is Roddy, because he's practicing it five, six
times a day, just the alphabet.
It's ridiculous.
Most people use Os.
I'm like, don't teach him.
[laughing] Don't give the devil new tools!
[laughing]
M-O-O-N. You go, M-O and drag the O.
Oh.
I'm trying to keep my sign language
lessons to Roddy at a minimum and maybe
teach him a word a day.
All right.
So teach some more words.
- I can't just teach you words. - Yeah.
Just start, like-- just say that.
I can't teach you--
what's words?
What's J?
Lisa, how do you do the devil in sign language?
- U. - Two fingers?
Yeah.
So I trust you, scouts' honor?
Yeah.
[WHISPERING] The devil.
Don't teach the devil!
The house is definitely getting smaller.
When we came here, every bed, every cot, every little nook
and cranny was filled with a person and a place
that they needed to go to sleep.
And now the people in this house are vanishing.
House guests, as of one hour from now,
the high rent district will be closed
and off limits for the rest of the season.
You have until then to remove all your personal items
from the room.
Section 's condemned.
I'm not happy.
They couldn't have closed the mass unit, could they?
Right?
Now we all have to be packed together like lemmings.
There's no place to go during the day sometimes.
And you have to go find some privacy.
And the high rent district was the last place
that you could do that.
We're probably going to get in each other's hair
just a bit more.
I was happy here, dammit.
Making me live with those vermin.
They need to put that cage in that storage room right now.
I had some really good times in the HID.
It's my house!
I live here!
[pretend crying] You can't take my house!
Bring my things back in here!
I'm not leaving!
[pretend crying]
Are you OK, honey?
Don't come in here.
Marcellas, for the love of God.
Marcellas is the biggest baby in the whole world.
I can't win HOH every single week,
because that would be blissful.
I could just stay the hell in there.
I guess Amy has to win HOH next week.
I'm not sleeping in the lizard room.
Everyone to the living room.
Very nice, Amy.
Very nice, Jason.
Marcellas is happy!
Lisa, lovely.
Hi.
Marcellas, what's up.
It's time for this week's food competition.
Is this all of us?
Yeah, this is it.
Oh, my gosh!
Now that I have everyone in the living room,
please go put on your bathing suits.
We just-- we panic when you say, put on our bathing suits.
Because we're like, what's going to happen?
What's going to happen?
The competition this week is called Sweet Surprise.
The goal is to find the seven day medallions,
which have been hidden.
We will have seconds to do so.
Each day medallion corresponds to one day of the week
represents a full day of regular food.
If we miss any of the day medallions,
we will be eating PB&J for that day.
Where the day medallions are hidden you will soon find out.
Let's open our mouths and open our eyes, as we are
about to get a sweet surprise.
We were going to the back door, like we always do.
And then, duh, duh, duh.
Slight change of plans.
Everyone must enter the map room and close the door.
Why am I scared?
When he opens up the door, I see plastic.
And then you walk through and you see pies!
My goodness.
I'm thinking, this is not going to be very clean.
[laughing]
So, guys, the pies are here.
The seven day medallions are baked inside.
We've got to find the seven day medallions,
and we've got to put them on their corresponding day.
Got it?
MULTIPLE: Got it.
Fabulous.
[blowing whistle]
Whoa!
Ah, damn!
I got one.
- Damn, girl. - I got two!
I got one.
Hurry up!
I got one.
Nothing but a handful of goo.
Oh!
Oh!
No!
[laughing]
Oh, my god!
I got one!
What are you doing?
Just squeeze!
This is hard!
I got one.
How many we got?
I got-- I got Sunday!
Wah!
[laughing]
Oh, my god!
You got the--
Guys, we're only missing two.
We're only missing two.
Get the racks.
When they announced seconds, we had five.
None of the pies were still intact,
and it was just like, how are you going to find in
seconds two more medallions?
Two.
Ah!
Checking the pies!
Whoa!
Go back through.
Go back through.
I got one!
I got it!
I got it!
One is Monday.
Here.
Want to make sure they're right.
Mission accomplished.
But next thing you know, Roddy--
Monday and Tuesday, Wednesday.
--is throwing pies at everyone.
[playful screaming]
Ah!
That was kind of immature.
You know, to have a pie and put it in somebody's space
really isn't that funny to me.
Pie!
[playful screaming]
Buddy!
[laughing]
You're allowed to be a kid in there
and get as messy as you wanted to.
No!
It was insane.
We just-- I mean, we covered each other, all of us.
Yeah!
Ah!
[laughing] Ah!
[laughter]
Ah!
Lisa came and got me, and I mean dirty, nasty shoved
a pie down my bathing suit.
So the back of my bathing suit was just full of pie.
We have, conceptually, in seconds found
the food medallion for Friday--
Yeah!
--Saturday, Sunday--
Woo!
--Monday.
This pack of jackals turns on me.
[laughing]
Thank you for being our fearless leader.
Thank you.
Thank you.
There was a moment where I could not hear it because I had
so much pie wedged in my ear.
[laughter]
[chatter]
[laughter]
Whoa!
Man down!
[laughter]
Man down!
Congratulations, guys!
You get to eat all week!
In the middle of the fun that we were having, Amy lost her
ring.
Ow!
Woo!
I have a diamond ring that I've
had since I was seven years old, and
my grandmother gave it to me.
And I just looked down and it was gone.
And I freaked out.
"Big Brother," you didn't say no jewelry, gosh dang it!
Amy has been getting on my nerves so much lately.
I don't think anyone else in the house
has lost any jewelry during a competition.
No, y'all.
I don't think it's going to be found.
I really don't. - Here we go.
This is a really good hair gel.
We can try, Amy.
In the midst of this whole thing,
everybody is on their hands and knees
going through pie tins on the floor.
What does it look like?
Tiny little diamond solitaire.
- Diamond solitaire. - Yep.
I've had it since I was seven.
She can take her rings off when she
gets in the pool to play polo.
But during this competition, she forgot.
I found it!
- [gasping] What? - No!
Yep.
Danielle!
Danielle, you are awesome.
Oh, my god!
How she did it, I will never know.
But, um, it was literally finding a needle in a haystack.
There it is.
Oh, my god!
Danielle!
[making kissing noises]
Ah!
[laughing]
Nice job, Dani!
We headed outside to wash the pie off of us.
No! Ow!
Ow!
Oh, god!
Marcellas, no!
Not only during the competition.
But once we have to go outside and wash off,
she loses the ring again.
We all worked so hard to find that thing.
I'm sorry.
I know that it's been--
Amy knows that I've been very short with her lately.
I'm at the end of my rope with her.
Amy's behavior within the house has really been grating.
The food competition was the straw
that broke the camel's back.
I heard Marcellas mention that he was just tired of Amy.
And he said that's why she's got to go this week.
And that was a shocker.
[sighing] Ay, yai, yai.
I told him not to do that.
It looks bad.
Like, as his friend, you're going to--
I said, let someone else take care of her.
Don't you do it.
Yeah.
I have to just talk to him.
I don't know if I can convince him.
I don't have-- Marcellas does what Marcellas wants to do.
That's the way only he can get her off.
It puts her up against one of us.
And he knows it, too.
I actually feel like I might be one of the people who
is on the block.
I-- I feel like that would be a smart move if he wants to make
sure Amy's out of the house.
I'm going to say, if there's ever a time for him
to listen to you, I really hope he listens to you now.
You say, you know, his house will
be five people after this week.
And, you know, there will be three--
essentially three people left in this house
that are ticked off at you.
And you don't have any power to win HOH.
You're gone if you don't do what we say.
Yeah.
I just don't like threatening people, Jason.
It's just that-- - I know.
I don't, either.
But I just can't believe that he would turn on-- on a friend.
If he would get rid of Amy this quick in the game,
what about the rest of us?
I'm going to go talk to him about it.
I'm going to do it. - Yeah.
Absolutely.
I need to get in the shower, 'cause I'm lookin' wicked.
Lisa!
Morning.
I was in the shower.
And Danielle came around the corner.
Thank goodness we can finger spell our sign language
back and forth to each other.
She signed to me that Marcellas wanted Amy to go.
That doesn't sit well with me.
I just don't know who-- who he'll put up against her.
Seven, eight.
Yeah.
That's not going to happen.
I just-- I just--
I feel it.
Yeah.
I don't feel so safe.
Marcellas has the power.
Done.
Is it time?
My biggest concern, is Marcellas
going to do the right thing?
I got to take a shower.
- Go ahead. - Yeah.
Marcellas, you're going to have to finish my hand.
I'm just getting q-tips in there,
and I'm going to dig and shower.
It just seems like everybody was taking so long,
so I've been waiting.
And so I get into a card game.
Who turn is it?
Mine-- yours.
Danielle makes no bones about it.
She wants to get to the end of the game.
That I understand.
So I trust her as far as I know she'll put herself ahead of me
each time.
You and I have always talked about sort of making
it to the end together.
Absolutely.
And I know your relationship with Jason
is incredibly strong.
He brought up Jason.
He was concerned about Jason.
And I told him that everything was copacetic.
And I'm being the biggest scumbag in the world,
but I have to keep our alliance a secret in order
to survive in this game.
If people found out how close I am to Jason,
they'll split us up.
Danielle, this is my question for you about the game.
And we've always been as honest as I think we could
with each other.
Right.
Are you over-extended as far as alliances within the house?
No.
No?
No.
Marcellas, all I want to do is make it to the end.
I don't think I'm over-extended.
I mean, what happens is going to happen.
Right.
I just--
[sighing]
I was like, oh, no, ah.
Trying to talk my way out of that sucker.
I know Lisa thinks that you have her back.
And I know you do have her back to a certain extent.
Certain extent.
But we turn to one another.
And we said, for now, that eventually
we're going to have to play.
I know there's going to come a time when you and I
start playing for ourselves.
Which is true, because she did say that.
You know?
I keep saying, trimming the fat.
I think this week there's fat that needs to be trimmed.
I understand.
I think next week there's fat that needs to be trimmed
and then the week after that.
Remember the six.
That's all I keep think--
I look at that wall and go, hm.
Where are y'all now?
Plotting and scheming and stuff like that.
Go ahead.
And that's why I want the last three
people to be the people that had nothing
to do with that original thing.
Nomination day is never a happy time
in the Big Brother house.
This is the week.
It has to be the week.
Roddy has to go.
I have a feeling these nominations
are going to be extremely hard.
I haven't had the opportunity to talk to Marcellas.
I haven't asked him who he's going to nominate.
I have a pretty good idea.
You know, I feel like--
I feel like Amy thinks she's walking around safe.
You would think that less people in the house
would make it easier.
It doesn't get easier.
It gets absolutely harder.
This was not the head of household that I wanted to get.
I'm terrifically worried about repercussions.
Guys, unfortunately it is that time.
All righty.
Get ready.
Now, that's for--
- Yeah. - This is mine.
Uh-oh, Danielle.
We're separated.
OK, guys.
This is the nomination ceremony.
First, I cannot tell you how happy
I am to experience this with all of you, each and every one.
I said a couple weeks back when I was actually nominated
that my experience with each of you
has enriched me in ways that I probably could not
express right now and probably not even get to for years
to come.
This was a particularly different and difficult
head of household for me, because it
was not one I relished.
It was not one that I wanted.
And also because, out of everybody who
has passed through this door--
and I mean everyone--
these are the people here who I like and respect the most.
That said-- I guess I sit down.
Key clinking.
Lisa, you are safe.
Danielle, you're safe.
Jason, you're safe.
As you see, I have nominated you, Roddy,
and you, Amy, for eviction.
Roddy, I've had a million conversations with you.
I love you, plain and simple.
You're one of my favorite people in this house, in this game.
Unfortunately, there is still the perception within the house
that you've made some bad choices during the game.
And you unfortunately still cannot be trusted.
I don't have to list bad relationships
you've had people in the past.
It's just that when I look around this table,
I know I can trust Lisa.
I would trust Jason with my life.
I trust you as though I was one of your kids.
Amy, you have been my best friend within this house.
And I cried when you laughed.
I cried when you came back.
I cried when they showed a picture of us at dinner.
But I have to be honest, since you've come back to the house,
we all have talked about people contributing things that are
positive and good to the house.
I've had many conversations with you in the past about things
that I did not personally like.
These are conversations that I don't feel you've listened to.
And I'm not saying this to hurt you
or to be mean-spirited, because I truly love and adore you.
And I want you to know that this is not personal,
this is not a reflection.
This is just more of--
The game.
No, it's not the game.
Don't belittle it.
To put your key in that box, I would have
rather put my own in there.
It wasn't about the game.
I think that there are things that you
miss during conversations.
There are chances you have to interact with people
that you blow right by.
And Roddy said it during his nomination of you,
and at the time, I did not believe it.
Since you've been back in the house,
I see you do it to each and every person at this table.
But this is a game, and we want to play it about people who
should be here and are trying to play the game in a certain way.
You haven't been playing the game kindly,
and that tears me apart.
And I am not happy to sit here in front of God
and these people and anybody who's watching this show
and say that.
That's all.
Everybody who has a key, please put them on the wall.
[sighing]
I was so just floored by the speech.
I don't mind being nominated.
It's just the damn speeches.
Even though he said it's not about the game,
it is all about the game, every bit of it.
I have so much compassion for people.
And the one thing I do not do is never degrade them like that.
I felt so sorry for Amy.
That broke my heart to hear Marcellas talk to Amy.
I really feel for Amy right now.
What I was trying to tell Amy was that she's not playing
the game well, was that she's not being a friend,
was that she's not being kind to the other people in the house.
When you put somebody up in your nomination speech,
there should be good, solid reasons.
And he made none with me.
All he said was that--
that he didn't trust me.
And he said for many reasons.
Well, that's not evidence.
That's emotion.
Someone put the devil on the block!
Couple common people may beat him at this game.
[laughing]
The power of veto competition tomorrow, Danielle or I
need to win it.
And I want to make sure that nothing changes this week.
NARRATOR: Who will win the power of veto?
And will it be used to save either Amy
or Roddy from eviction?
