As Head of Household, Dana confirmed her new allegiance

to the exes by nominating her former allies, Alison and Jack,

for eviction.

Alie, neither one of us knows where each other stands.

Jack, purely a strategic move.

Dana made the biggest mistake of her life.

NARRATOR: New lines were drawn as the rest of the house

scrambled to assess their numbers.

It puts the alliance in a touch position.

I totally didn't see that one coming.

NARRATOR: As the veto competition loomed,

tensions mounted.

If you take a step back and think about it,

you'll see that it was a move that

no other [bleep] guy or girl in this

house had the ba*ls to make.

NARRATOR: And the exes continue to be a factor.

She did it for her own reasons.

You don't think you have anything to do with it?

I mean, I'm sure--

Because she hates me because of you.

NARRATOR: Secret strategies were hatched in an attempt

to undermine Dana's authority.

Alison's prayers were answered, as Nathan

won the coveted golden veto.

Nathan, you get the bling bling.

NARRATOR: And proceeded to shock the other houseguests

by using his newfound power.

Dana, I think that Alie deserves

a second chance in this house, and I exercised

to use my veto on Alie.

NARRATOR: Stunned, Dana was forced to choose

a replacement nomination.

David, you can thank Nathan for it,

because I have to put you on the block.

I'll do something that he will never have the nerve to do.

I won't give up.

I'm not absolutely-- I'm not done until I

walk out the front door.

It's just a couple more days that I've

got to try to sweet talk my way out of this eviction.

Good evening, I'm Julie Chen.

Welcome to "Big Brother ."

It's day inside the "Big Brother" house,

and emotions have reached the boiling point.

Dana, the karate school manager from Queens,

won Head of Household.

Then, in a surprise move to many,

she betrayed the original alliance of seven

by putting fellow members Jack and Alison

on the chopping block.

But the surprises didn't stop there.

After winning the golden power of veto, Nathan--

the personal trainer from Oklahoma--

came to Alison's rescue, saving her from possible eviction.

An angry Dana then put former Army Ranger Dave up

for eviction in Alison's place.

Which brings us to tonight.

The nominees for addiction are Jack and David.

Who will be evicted?

We'll soon find out live.

But first, it was a stunning turn

of events at the veto meeting that angered many housemates.

And that was only the beginning.

[music playing]

I'm sorry, David.

Cut that out. Cut it out.

- No, I feel bad, close my door. - Cut it out.

Close my door.

When I went in the HOH room after I was put up

on the block, and Dana was crying,

I just wanted to slap her, with a big backhand.

[slapping sound]

It's fine, don't worry about it.

It was her that put me up there.

It was her they created this whole situation.

I like you, you know, some parts of me plays--

plays this game personal, you know?

Dana's definitely playing this game emotionally.

Playing on our emotions will definitely

get you to stay in the game.

Justin's been doing it from the very beginning,

and he's still here.

She had an emotional strategy going.

I don't think that Dana is smart in many of the things

that she does.

Her brains are in her panties.

You look at some of the [bleep] she's pulled,

and it's just emotional stuff from her, not from Justin.

And she's got the sex appeal of a buzzard's crotch.

And I can't see what the hell Justin sees in her.

Hopefully we'll all be friends again.

I'm a much older person with very young people, who

are floating along on emotion, and letting that dictate

the way the game's going.

The Three Stooges and Dana, they're

so pissed off at what Nate did today, that they want him out

more now than they ever did.

All right.

What happens if we do keep Dave here?

And get rid of Jack?

They're willing to try to make up

a deal with me, to say that if I get Head of Household,

I'll put up Nate now.

We want them out of here.

And if you get out of here, and Jack and Erika stay here,

they're not gonna win any competitions.

Like, you're the one that's going

to be winning the competitions. - Right.

And if I do that, then they'll vote Jack off.

What's the agreement, Dave?

I want to [bleep] hear it out of your mouth.

I think if Erika's down, I'm down.

OK then.

Now, am I gonna, you know, stick to my word,

and go after Alie and Nate?

You know, we'll see.

I have no idea.

Jack's got his retirement going for him.

It sucks, I don't want to send him out here either,

because he's a level-headed player.

No, he is.

Right now, I want some space.

I want to think about how I got in this damn position,

and what I'm going to do about it.

'Cause it didn't fit my strategy at all.

The atmosphere in here can be numbing, it's so juvenile.

That is so cool. - Crying.

Crying.

You know Dana, she's got a lot of personal feelings

towards Alison, and maybe towards myself now.

It's stupid, you're gonna keep someone like Alison around?

You're thinking with your emotions.

Dana can't keep her emotions in check.

I'm hoping that I can kind of control

her, and just subdue her.

No, right now we're thinking angry,

because we want to get back at Nathan,

and not get rid of Dave.

No, why would we risk keeping Dave,

and having him turn on-- you know,

go back on his word next week.

We have to think about the game, and what's best for us.

When we want to win veto, and Jack doesn't

win physical competitions.

We should have Dave around, just to get,

you know, Alie and Nate out.

And I really think that he wants them out.

You need to convince them, and I

need to convince them that I have a better of chance

of winning Head of Household.

That's why they need to keep me instead of Jack, you know?

So Nate can't know anything either.

'Cause we have to act like we're going after him.

You know, it's going to be a campaign.

Take care of yourself first.

That's not what I like to see, [inaudible],,

but it looks like it might.

When you lose two back-to-back HOHs, you get yourself

in deep [bleep] like this.

I just gotta remember that.

I'm feeling very vulnerable right now.

This is the moment when I'm going to have

to negotiate my very survival.

I know you guys are leaning toward keeping Dave, here.

I was wondering if there's any negotiation left.

When I was an FBI agent, one of my skills

was being a negotiator.

It's still up in the air as to whether I'll be evicted

or David.

I'm not sure I can bring that about,

because Dana is so emotional.

Couldn't believe she was crying.

She likes you.

Why wouldn't she?

She really likes you, Nate.

I cried.

It really sucks to see both people

in my alliance on the block.

My two favorite people in this house

are vulnerable for leaving, and that just--

I hate that.

It's my two little nominee boys.

I didn't have my dad around growing up.

It's literally like two family members are up for eviction.

It's really hard.

Nathan, you're up first, because you know,

you are the first houseguest to use the golden power of veto

this summer.

Any regrets?

No, I'm happy with my decision.

JULIE: Never once did you have a regret?

No, no, I'm not going to make any choice I'm gonna regret,

so I'm happy with the decision I made.

OK.

Alison, at the veto meeting, you said that you deserved

a second chance, right?

Correct.

Why?

I just felt that Dana had lied blatantly to my face,

and that I deserved a second chance in the house--

a chance where people don't lie to me,

and where we can be honest with each other.

Oh, honesty.

That goes on a lot around here, don't you think, Julie?

JULIE: Mmm, I'm staying out of this one.

[laughing]

But Alison.

I can't believe I'm lying in this house,

what was I thinking?

JULIE: Alison, do you think if you had not

been saved by Nathan, you would be the one

walking out the door tonight.

I do, I think that she did make it clear and very

obvious to all the other houseguests

that I was the one that she wanted out of the house.

And because she was HOH this past week,

she felt that she needed to be respected,

and I needed to leave.

JULIE: Dana, you want to say anything?

No.

JULIE: All right, moving right along.

Justin.

What's up, Julie.

You have come in second in two HOH competitions, and two veto

competitions.

How badly do you want to break that tradition

tonight, and win HOH.

Well, you always want to win.

Second's just something that tends to come

to me more often than not.

But it's better than coming in last.

Sometimes it feels like you'd rather

come in last than second, but you know, one of these times,

you know, some time, your card will get pulled, and you know,

you'll win one of them.

JULIE: All right.

seemed to be really taking its toll this week.

David's easy on the eyes.

He's very smart, very much in physical-- good physical

condition, and that is very important for a lot

of the competitions.

This decision to evict David or Jack

will be the toughest decision.

Because my heart says David, that David should leave.

But I love the guy so much.

I don't want him to leave.

I think they're both great people,

and I love hanging around them.

You know, I hate to see one of them go.

Jack is a wonderful man.

He's a lot older than us, the rest of us in the house,

and I think sometimes that might be difficult for him.

I see Jack as a threat.

He's been in the FBI, so he knows how to hide things.

Like, that's what's scary about that guy.

I vote to evict Jack.

Welcome back to "Big Brother ."

Tonight, two men are up for eviction, Jack and David.

As part of the original seven, they've

been allies since day one.

And now, they're facing off against each other

for possible eviction.

-year-old Jack was one of the few to come into the house

without an ex.

But a peek into Jack's private life

reveals that living with an ex would

have been nothing new to him.

[music playing]

I think if Jack were put up against anybody

in the final two, he'd win.

Jack and I have an unusual relationship.

We were divorced in the year , however,

we've never been apart for one single day.

We have three beautiful daughters,

and we're very content right now, the way things are.

I can relate and enjoy you guys,

'cause my kids are your age.

The fact that he's so much older than everyone

else could play against him.

Have you ever had a threesome?

Jack, you might want to leave while you can.

[laughing]

Will I still have everything?

The atmosphere in here is like a junior high prom.

[laughing]

It just smelled like sex all night.

There's a lot of energy in here, a lot of testosterone,

Jack is a man that will not let you exclude him.

He manages gracefully to work his way into things,

in a good-hearted way.

I can't avoid my age standing out, simply because they know

how old I am, and I haven't performed that

well during the competition.

Take your time, point your feet.

Oh!

I have found myself to be a step or two,

or three behind these young guys,

and even, sometimes, the women.

I feel like I'm just moving in glue out there sometimes.

His strategy is to lay low, to be non-threatening,

to not win competitions.

I am not throwing the competitions.

[laughing]

Jack, you're the man.

I don't like to lose when I really am trying,

and I'm going to try to correct it.

Jack is a prime manipulator.

I don't know why I'm in here.

Because they needed to put someone

else as smart and as cool as me, so that we could hook up.

Erika's a beautiful woman.

So what do you think we should do, Dad?

[laughing]

I would rather have her call me dad,

than for she and I to develop any kind of relationship.

I think that it's cute that Erika calls

Jack dad, showing him respect.

Jack has kids her age.

There's nothing there between those two,

even though they are side-by-side

in twin beds every night.

Jack sleeps on his back, and I've

often kidded him that he looks like he's lying in a coffin.

Sometimes I think he's dead.

He's like, mmmm.

years in the FBI doing surveillances,

I like to sleep with my hands ready.

I don't need any covers, I don't want anything fooling with me,

so I can get to my g*n.

And I don't have a g*n!

That's just Jack's normal sleeping position.

I'm sleeping on my back, because I think Dana's going

to come in and stab my a*s.

It's time to talk privately with Dana,

who is sitting alone in the Head of Household bedroom.

Now, just so you know, the other

houseguests cannot hear us, so feel free to speak your mind.

Oh, I don't care if they hear or not.

JULIE: All right, I like your attitude.

Do you have any regrets about your initial strategy

to nominate two people from your original alliance--

Alison and Jack?

My only regret was that I didn't

make it Nathan and Alison.

JULIE: And you realized you made this regret after when?

After I knew that Nathan--

I knew he was going to use the veto to save Alison, even

when, you know, I saved him.

You know, I could have put him on the block, and I didn't.

And he felt the need to play Superman, I guess, for Alison.

And you know, he was unappreciative.

He really should have been grateful to me

for not putting him up.

And instead he went against what I wanted,

so he should have been up.

That's my biggest mistake, that's

the one regret I'll have.

Well, how do you think Nathan's

decision to veto Alison will affect his future in the house?

Well, he's got a big target on him.

He had one already, and instead of just having a handful

of people agitated with him, he went and pissed off the rest

of the people in his alliance.

I mean, he put more value on Alison

than anyone else in the rest of his alliance,

and it wasn't a good move on his part.

He should have wanted to keep a stronger player like Dave

around, to have on his side.

Mm-hmm.

But instead he wanted me to do the dirty work

and get rid of someone, you know, stronger than him,

so that he could be the hero of that team.

Nathan needs the attention, he needs everybody needing him,

and--

JULIE: Right.

Well, you know what?

We've all seen some flirting going

on between you and Justin.

Are the feelings real?

You know what, they're genuine in that hanging out with Justin

is like hanging out with my friends from home, you know?

I feel so comfortable with him, and it's not like BS,

you know, it's not about the game.

% of the time, we don't even talk about the game.

JULIE: Right.

It's fun.

It feels like, you know, a real friendship.

And yeah, there's flirting.

And I mean, being in this house, isolated

like this doesn't really help.

But he's beautiful, he really is.

He's a good person, I think, deep down inside.

I was the firefighter.

I am back here in Connecticut, and

my fellow firefighters made me relive every single moment

in that house.

All the crazy sleep talking that I did.

I could eat like a jar of this, no problem.

I was probably one of the only people that enjoyed the peanut

butter and jelly diet.

I love it even more now, and I think it's kind of strange.

I think we both just had some things

that we needed to take care of before we could

actually try a relationship.

I mean, we went through that meat grinder together,

so it's sort of like, you know, being a veterano.

I don't drive around hammered or anything.

But you know, I see nothing wrong

with the occasional happy hour.

I love cheese, as we all well know.

And the grocery store here in Memphis, Easy Way,

was kind enough to donate a year's supply of free cheese.

I am jealous of Marcellas' new woman in his life.

He's My-cellas.

Yeah, I did that nickname Chiara "Chiwhorea."

Chiwhorea has referred to herself as a wh*re

on several occasions.

I'm such a wh*re.

So that's what I call her.

But after the show was over, Chiara and I went out,

and she is one of the funniest, entertaining people

that I know.

Since I've been off the show, I've

been back in New York, back in town with my friends,

having a great time.

Back at work, and just living it up.

"Big Brother " was a chapter in my life.

I wouldn't say it changed my life.

I actually probably am more happy than I

Julie I've been back stroking through the fountain of youth

here in the "Big Brother" House, and I've enjoyed it.

There's a lot of energy, and excitement, and enthusiasm

here.

It's contagious, and I feed off of it.

If I leave tonight, I'm going to have individual memories

of all of you.

I'll take them with me, and I'll cherish them.

And David, what are your final words to the group?

I just want to say that this has been

a great joke for me, that's how you handle

it from the very beginning.

And it's been very entertaining living with a bunch

of sniveling and whiny b*tches.

as far as this whole production, and people

sitting on their couches watching this--

if it wasn't for the guys out there fighting

With all my heart, you know, you want to trust David.

But David looked me in the eye and lied to me once,

and I can't help to think that he would do it again.

Strategically, they both have their strengths.

Jack is older, he brings life experience, wisdom.

David has youth on his side.

I've vote to evict David.

I vote to evict Jack.

Why did you start having a feeling

that you were going to be evicted?

When Nate got it, I knew he was close to Allie.

Not so much emotionally, but he knew that she would help

him further along in the game.

So I had a strong feeling that he was going to use it,

and I knew I would be going in place with him.

And once that happened, you get a strong player on the block,

you know, you got a chance to get rid of him--

you got to get him out of there no matter what, so--

So you were a threat.

Definitely a threat.

I take it as a compliment, I've got no worries

about this whole situation.

And I'm just glad I had a chance to be on the show,

and goof off a little bit in front of America.

It's been a fun time.

Well, another thing you did in front of America

was an intimate evening with Amanda.

Which was a "Big Brother" first for us here

in the United States.

It's always good to be a first, I guess.

I'd like to I'd like to see Amanda again sometime,

and she's a great girl, and I was

really surprised to meet someone that I

clicked with in the House.

did it factor in that number one,

And Amanda, her ex-fiance, Scott, had just left the house,

and he still had very strong feelings for her.

Was that at all in your mind when--

You know, I mean, it was.

It was in my mind a little bit.

With Michelle, it wasn't a big deal, because we

went out five years ago.

So we're pretty good friends no matter what.

And with Scotty leaving--

right before he left, you know, he was saying,

even though he said everything about Amanda, how he felt,

he was really miserable when he was with her,

and all this other stuff.

So I really don't know how they were

feeling towards each other.

But why stop something when it's on starting

in motion because of that?

So I'm sure, you know, Scotty's an adult,

he knows what's going on.

And I doubt he's really gonna be pissed off about this.

All right.

Your behavior inside the house was outrageous.

A lot of your housemates thought you were absolutely nuts.

Is that really who you are, or was that part of your strategy?

That's part of who I am.

At first, it was just to be as boisterous as possible,

to kind of hind the smarts behind,

you know, behind the mask that I was putting on for everybody.

One of my kicks that I get out of it

is to absolutely disrupt the house,

and to get the reactions out of the people in there.

And I felt that maybe like, cursing a lot,

or making fun of people, and getting under their skin--

it was a kick for me, and it was a great boredom buster.

So I had to do it.

Well, it was a pleasure for us to watch as well.

Great, I'm glad you liked it.

You know, even though you were evicted,

your housemates did each--

you left an impression on them.

And they each taped a message for you in the event

that you were kicked out tonight.

You know, every room that you pretty much walked

out of me, personally.

And I know the whole house feels the same.

and you remind me of one of my sons.

I can make friends with a lot of people,

and I really have nothing too bad to say about many of them.

The power in the house is about to change hands,

as the houseguests compete to become the new Head

of Household-- with the responsibility

of nominating the next two houseguests for eviction.

Over the past hours, they've all had a chance to practice

for the next competition.

Some took advantage of this opportunity more than others.

It's a water jug filled with pong ba*ls.

And there's a skinny, skinny tube on the ground,

and you have to--

Shake it, shake it, shake it some more.

So it's however many ba*ls you can get in that tube,

as fast as you can.

I suck.

Nathan and Alison are out there practicing for dear life.

I told Nathan he's not allowed to leave that backyard

until he has that game perfect.

I want this competition really bad.

I want to be the one that sends them two out of here.

Head of Household this week is life or death for Nathan and I.

I think that Nathan and Alie are

going to practice until the sun goes down tonight.

With the stakes this high, this

is sure to be the most hotly contested HOH competition

so far.

Let's get the game started.

Houseguests, the power is up for grabs.

Dana, as outgoing Head of Household, you cannot compete.

As for the rest of you, we're about to see if all

of your practice will pay off.

You've each been given a cooler jug filled with the same number

of ping pong ba*ls.

When I give the signal, you will try and direct

as many ping pong ba*ls as you can

into the cylinders below you.

That's a five-foot drop, so aim carefully.

After one minute, the player who's landed the most ping pong

ba*ls in their cylinder will become

the new Head of household.

Does everyone understand the game?
