GAGE: It was awesome.

You fellas have something

Just having a little bit of fun.

tour bus for months.

get it towed to our mechanic.

it's gonna take a day or so.

we'll be seeing each

It's pretty cool having
a famous band in town.

Not as cool once you meet 'em.

[LAUGHS] Well, Cold Lead does have
a big reputation for partying.

in a lot of trouble.

What do you think, some of the
locals are gonna mess with 'em?

No, I think the
other way around.

The band's got their
reputation, but,

the roadies have the scars.

CONNOR: Well, we do
have availability.

So uh, we can get you
checked back in if you want.

Bus might take a couple of
days to get repaired, so.

- Okay, well sure enough.
- JEREMIAH: Hey...

in Blue Ridge.

it's got a stage.

to see the band Cold Lead

in such an intimate
venue, you know.

Wouldn't have to play very long.

house band would open for you.

- RP: Ah, sorry.

Look, I'm not sure if this
qualifies as an emergency but

since it could be high-profile,

I figured I'd just
let you decide.

JUSTIN [ON PHONE]: Go ahead.

I just got a call
from the mechanic.

And apparently this bus accident

wasn't really an accident.

He's positive somebody
messed with the brakes

so the bus would
crash on purpose.

JUSTIN: You aware
of anyone that might

want to hurt the band?

Any threats?
- Not really.

Well, you guys have a
pretty bad reputation.

It's... it's just that.

A reputation, the boys like
to play it up for their image.

Like Johnny Cash singing
about Folsom Prison

when he never went there.

[CHUCKLING]

Well, what about your roadie?

Gage?

But we need somebody like
him to protect the band.

He looks out for everybody;

sleeps on the bus to keep
an eye on the instruments.

JUSTIN: Did he hear

He must be a sound sleeper.

Especially when he's passed out.

Looks like someone's
trying to hurt you.

I'm afraid they're
gonna try again.

The deputy's gonna interview
all the motel guests.

See if they heard or
saw anything suspicious.

JUSTIN: Go ahead.

Gage got into it with
another guest last night

just before you showed up.

I guess the guy
took a swing at him.

And what happened then?

People who pick a fight
with Gage don't typically

have a good night.

ROB: Listen man, I went over

with my girlfriend Tina to take

a picture with the band.

Before we even got there that
dude started mouthing off.

Told her to ditch the
loser, come party with us.

RP: You swing at him first?

Only after he called her a pig.

And other worse things.

I took one swing at
him, that was it.

But it's like he
was waiting for it.

Because he blocked it, and then

he smiled really wide
and said "free licks."

And then, went all
roadhouse on me.

He wouldn't stop until
his manager stopped him.

Civic Center for the first time.

While we're stuck here

we're losing money.

In addition to bus repairs

we've got extra hotel nights,

shows we're missing
in Nashville.

The money we make in our
gig here in Blue Ridge

will hardly begin
to cover the costs.

So, I've been investigating

what happened to the bus.

violin at Juilliard.

concert violinist.

I've been traveling with

lonely on the road.

feel about all the travel?
