ANNOUNCER:BB AI Ainsley made a shocking change to the game--

AINSLEY:The Head of Household will

not be naming two nominees.

They will be naming three.

ANNOUNCER:--unleashing the BB AI Arena twist.

AINSLEY:Before the vote, I will have these three nominees

compete live in my AI Arena.

The winner of this competition will immediately come

off the block and be safe.

ANNOUNCER:At the first head of household competition,

Angela took power.

- Who is your new HOH?

Whoo!

ANNOUNCER:After Matt rubbed her the wrong way--

- I was like, do I take this as an opportunity to be like,

you want to put me up? Let's go.

- You're scaring me.

ANNOUNCER:--the mama got mad.

- Like, was that a threat?

So matter of fact, like, woman, don't

mess with me because you'll be the next to go.

ANNOUNCER:At the nomination ceremony--

- We needed you, Lisa, Kimo, and you, Kenney.

ANNOUNCER:Angela kept Matt on the back burner.

- I let him off the hook for now,

but he better be on his best behavior.

ANNOUNCER:But when he didn't give her a post-meeting hug--

- His actions are even speaking louder than his words are.

ANNOUNCER:--he became Angela's top target.

Two crazy eyes.

ANNOUNCER: Asuper alliance was formed.

QUINN: The Collective.

- Sick, love it.

ANNOUNCER:But when they tried to bring in Angela--

- Do you like it?

- I [MUTED] love it.

ANNOUNCER:--she didn't buy it.

- I'm acting like I'm excited about this idea,

but I'm not trusting what they're saying to me right now.

ANNOUNCER:And it inexplicably made her paranoia grow.

ANNOUNCER: And it grew. - Who was that?

Freaking crazy eyes.

I need to watch that really close.

ANNOUNCER:--and grew.

- It's % everybody, every single person.

ANNOUNCER:So the mom blew up her new alliance--

- For the visitors that came to visit me last night,

your performance was great--

For a low-budget movie.

ANNOUNCER:--and then called out Matt--

- Crazy eyes!

- Me?

- He threatened me verbally in my room.

ANNOUNCER:--solidifying her place in BB history.

- My mom is going to watch you as a mom talk to me like.

- Oh, I hope she does.

She will be so upset that her son's a brat.

ANNOUNCER:With Lisa winning the Veto--

- You won the golden Power of Veto!

ANNOUNCER:--there was a vacancy on the block.

- I have decided to use the Power of Veto on myself.

ANNOUNCER:And Angela made good on her threat.

- I'm putting you up, Matt.

ANNOUNCER:Tonight, Kimo, Matt, and Kenney

enter the BB AI Arena.

Who will win the inaugural game-changing competition?

And which two houseguests will remain on the chopping block?

- Good evening.

I'm Julie Chen Moonves.

Welcome to "Big Brother."

It is only day inside the Big Brother House,

and it has been one of the most memorable weeks

in the history of this game.

Tonight, the roller coaster ride

continues as the three nominees will battle

live in Ainsley's BB AI Arena.

The winner will immediately be safe, leaving the other two

to scramble for votes just minutes before the live vote

and eviction.

So who will emerge victorious?

Who will be left on the block?

And who will be the first houseguest sent packing?

Buckle in and pull down your safety bar because it's

all playing out live tonight.

But first, Angela may think Matt has crazy eyes,

but his sights are set firmly on staying in the game

and coming after her.

- This Veto meeting is adjourned.

[DRAMATIC MUSIC]

♪

- I decide to name Matt as the replacement nominee

because he had it coming to him.

He knows what he did.

Angela, I'm sorry.

Hey, don't pull this.

My hope is that this kid--

Crazy Eyes-- is not the victor in AI Arena

and he gets to walk out that door and say goodbye.

- What was that?

- I don't know, man.

- This is the worst possible scenario.

I'm on the block with Matt, and he's been

my closest ally since day one.

He was the one person that I was going to have to rely

on to rally votes for me.

Now, he might have to do that just for himself.

At the end of the day, I have to win the AI Arena

and get myself off the block.

- You're gonna k*ll it.

- I'm gonna be sitting up next to you, brother.

- If this was regular "Big Brother"

and I was on the block against a big target, people

would probably get him out.

But this is not regular "Big Brother."

[LAUGHS]

And we have this AI Arena where either of them

are likely to win and can take themselves off the block.

So I have to make sure that I have the votes to stay

against both Kenney and Matt.

Oh, so stressful!

♪

- I did what I needed to do for me, and this is a game.

- I know.

- What more can I do?

Like, I don't understand.

Why me?

Why am I, over and over and over and over again, the target

for Angela?

I think the entire house has a big problem with Angela's

behavior and also knows that myself, if I win HOH,

would have no problem going for her next week.

And I think that is going to be my saving grace to stay

in the house this week.

- There's two sides, Matt.

I had to follow my heart.

- Like, your friend is up. MAKENSY: Yeah.

I mean, it sucks.

I mean, it does really, really suck.

But I can't let it affect me.

You know what I'm saying? - Yeah, good.

- It's so early. Matt got put up on the block.

Great.

Matt and I are obviously super, super close,

but I did not use America's Veto on him

because I want to keep myself safe.

So sorry, Matt.

Hopefully he's going to win in the AI Arena.

And if he doesn't, he's got the votes.

I hope he'll know, like, I'm so with y'all.

Love him, but like--

- MJ first. - Me first.

Like, seriously %.

I am my own person.

KENNEY: How many votes is it?

MATT: It's .

KENNEY: If it's , you need six.

MATT: I will have no problem getting six votes.

- We've just got to make sure it's not me and you.

- I know.

I mean, we have to-- we have to try.

- However the competition goes, if we all

go at a different time, and you've got him beat,

I'm throwing it.

Truth be told, if it comes down to me

and Matt, selflessly, I'd be rooting for Matt.

I've got a great life at home.

I've got a beautiful wife, beautiful kids.

I mean, I do want to stay in the house,

but if for some reason I don't, I get to watch

Matt run the table and become the winner of "Big Brother ."

[MOODY MUSIC]

- Just like in light of the conversation

I'm sorry.

- Obviously, my goal is to win the AI Arena competition,

but if not, I feel really confident that I've

got Makensy and Leah's votes.

I feel like I can convince Lisa to vote my direction.

- Angela played dirty with you.

- I keep getting stabbed in the face in front of everyone.

- Do you think I didn't get stabbed in the face?

She put me on the block. - You got stabbed in the back.

- Yeah, very different. - I got stabbed in the face.

- I like you as a human. You know that.

If everything was honest and true,

I feel like I'm going to have Lisa's vote.

So that's three votes, and I'm going to need three more

to stay.

So I've got some work to do.

LISA: Who do you think are your numbers?

- I've got to go talk to people.

[MOODY MUSIC]

Can I bank on y'all's vote if I don't win?

- I'm not going to lie, voting against Kimo,

I might need a minute.

I'm [MUTED], kind of like, for now.

I do want you to stay kind of thing,

but, like, I'll need a minute.

Ever since Angela called out The Collective--

[HAUNTING DRUMS]

--we have been way too scared to meet.

So it kind of just feels like she's

ex*cuted this voting bloc.

On paper, if you have a player like Matt on the block,

you send him out!

But the truth is, there is so much confusion in the house

right now.

And there is no voting bloc to discuss it.

So I feel lost.

I'm trying to be like full transparency.

- No, and I appreciate that.

- That'll hurt a lot if I had to vote against Kimo.

And I understand.

- Yeah.

- So it sounds like Quinn could be leaning towards Kimo if it's

me sitting up next to him.

And I need six solid no-matter-what votes.

So I know that I need people that I do trust in the house.

- So, you know, Matt approaches me with a big alliance.

And I'm thinking I ain't got no other option.

Angela k*lled The Collective.

And this week, I'm a BB Downgrade,

so I don't even got to vote.

It doesn't cost me nothing to say yes.

I don't got no dogs in the fight.

- I like Barbershop and we call it BS.

[WHISPERING] I think we create, like, this core.

- Yeah.

- Early in the game I was in with the athletic guys.

Then I was in a bigger alliance,

but that got blown up immediately.

I don't know how long this one's going to last,

so am I going to keep Matt?

I don't know.

- We got to rock with Matt. Like, that's a thing.

You know what I'm saying? - Yeah.

It's not a bad thing.

- It's not a bad thing.

- If someone like Matt is on the block week one,

you gotta send them packing.

But he's telling me he has all of these numbers,

and this seems like it's going to be a really strong alliance.

And I absolutely don't want to be on the wrong side of a vote.

- Wait, what?

Everybody wants to keep you? You have numbers?

Look at Matt.

That is the exact kind of person you want to send home.

But the last thing you want to do

is be on the wrong side of the vote.

I guess we're doing this. - Ssshh.

- All right.

Here's the deal.

We rock with everybody no matter what.

So option one is definitely to win the AI Arena competition.

But worst-case scenario, I know that I've

got this alliance that is going to have my back in this vote.

So, Angela, if I were you, I'd be getting

really concerned right now.

Multiple people on the block multiplies the eviction

scenarios and the paranoia.

[MOODY MUSIC]

- This could be your last night in the backyard.

- Dang, you're right. It really could.

- I think I actually would cry if you left.

I'd be like, oh, my god.

- It would be terrible.

Me and Makensy in the first, like, seconds knew,

like, you know, something was gonna be going on.

And I feel like she kind of had playfully has

this little holding back type of mentality.

But, um, I'm up for the challenge.

I have enjoyed getting to know you.

And I have been excited to get to know you.

- I mean, like seriously, Matt, you are one of the best

guys I've met, an amazing man.

- Thank you.

- But I know you're an amazing man

because on paper, it's like--

[CLICKS TONGUE] He's tall.

He's handsome.

He's funny.

So points are adding up.

My walls are up, but he's breaking

them down maybe, like, brick by brick, slowly by slowly.

- So what do you look for in a guy

that you want to bring into your life?

- Boy, do we have the guy for you.

- [LAUGHS]

- I feel very in the dark.

- Mm-hmm.

- People are gathering, like, and I'm not--

- Part of it.

- Right.

- [WHISPERING] I'm operating transparently right now.

I am not making any decisions until the end of the week

after we see how everything plays out.

And I'm sorry. - Don't be sorry.

That's the game.

I appreciate it.

Depending on who wins AI Arena, there's,

like, a million different scenarios for eviction.

There's me versus Kenney.

There's me versus Matt.

There's Kenney versus Matt.

OK, only three.

But it's making people noncommittal about how

they'll vote.

I don't know who to trust right now.

Obviously, I want to take myself off of the block

and win.

That's the best-case scenario.

- Mm-hmm.

- But if not, I'm very worried,

- Mm-hmm.

- Because I feel like Matt has a bunch of people.

- Yeah.

- I genuinely think that I'm just going home.

Like, that's my gut feeling.

- Yeah, mine too.

I do want to keep Kimo in this game, but at the same time,

me blanket-stating people that I want to get out

without necessarily having any solidly formed alliances,

could be dangerous.

I feel like the only way out of this

is for you to win and take yourself

off the block, which I totally believe that you can do.

- Thank you, T'kor.

- I want to see what you can do and give you a chance to play.

- Ideally, I want to get myself off.

- Yeah, like, fight.

- Thank you.

- It is possible, Kimo.

You're going to win that A.I Arena,

and you won't have to worry about being on the block.

- I know. He's my boy.

He's my number one ally.

I'm a competitive person.

But the emotions of being against Matt

make it kind of difficult. I really

thought I was a person that those emotions

could be kept in check.

And unfortunately, I'm learning something very new

about me, feelings and guilt and stuff.

So that's kind of like a dilemma that I'm in right now.

- You're telling me you have no desire to fight in the Arena

for your life in this game because you

don't want to go and beat him?

That's what I'm hearing.

My mind just went, poof.

- Yeah.

Well, mine went poof a couple of times

to by some of your decisions, so.

- Some of my decisions. - So we're both in the same--

yeah.

- Well, honestly, I think that my decision to stick to what I

said up here and follow through with it was a lot more

admirable than saying I'm going to give

up and I don't want to beat my competitor in "Big Brother."

- I get that.

- Kenney's trying to be a hero.

He's like, I can't flip on my boy Matty.

Oh, man, Matty is so cool.

I've got to put him first over me, my family, my food truck.

He's known him for a week.

A week!

- If I walk out that door, I know I did what I needed to do.

- No, you didn't. - Of course I did.

- No, you did not.

Matt is not your son.

Matt didn't help you get here.

You helped you get here, and now you're throwing it away.

- I'm not throwing it away.

- I will be damned if I want that kid to put me on the block

and have that satisfaction.

I know next week what's going to happen,

but I'm going down fighting for it.

And you should, too.

- Who the hell are you, Angela?

You've made mistake after mistake after mistake

in your first HOH.

Like, come on.

And then you attack Matt.

And then you attack me by saying he's not my son.

Well, he's the son of somebody who I respect highly,

and I don't even know him because he's

another police officer.

I am so fired up.

I'm ready to go win the AI Arena, number one.

A glitch in my system has caused

the images of your fellow housemates to multiply.

On go, make your way to my digital displays

where you will find videos that will gradually

cycle through and repeat.

When you think you've identified the one houseguest

that is seen the most times, race back to your podium,

find their image, and lock in your answer.

You only have two minutes to lock in your answer.

Failure to lock in an answer before time expires

will disqualify you from this competition.

Once all three players lock in their answers,

the winner will be the player who

chose the houseguest that is seen

the most in the fastest time.

I tried to respond as best as I could.

I will continue to do so.

And I will continue to play this game

- How are you feeling?

- It's hard, yeah.

I mean, I think I came to play this game to try

to represent something bigger.

And like I said, I hope you guys got to see me being here,

it wasn't just telling my story.

It was telling my mom's story and the story

of a lot of my stereotype.

And I hope that rang true in even

the time that I did get to play.

- In the short time in the house,

you and Makensy grew very close.

What were you whispering in her ear?

She was visibly upset saying goodbye to you tonight.

- Yeah, I mean, I think it is a--

JULIE: What did you say in her ear?

- I said that our story is not over.

And I think when we get out of this house,

I'll find her and keep capitalizing on what

we got to build in the house.

I'm very thankful I got the honor to get to know her well.

Wow, that was an unexpected rivalry.

Why do you think the two of you did not get on with each other?

- Yeah, I think, instinctively, I don't know.

I think there could be area for me

to learn and grow potentially.

But I did not agree with how she treated me

and what she said, and it was difficult.

In your private one-on-one conversation with her

in the Head of Household bedroom,

you did say to her, quote, "You want to put me up.

Let's go.

And if I win next week, I promise you--"

And the conversation unfolded more.

She interpreted that as a threat.

- Right.

JULIE: Was it?

And what was your intention in that conversation?

- Yeah.

I mean, definitely wasn't an aggressive threat

like I thought that she maybe perceived that it was.

And again, maybe there's some area for me

to learn and grow in that.

But I kind of thought that was the name of the game, you know?

If you get put up, then next week,

I kind of want to put you up.

So yeah, maybe there's some area there,

but I did not mean that to be threatening.

And seconds before she came down the stairs,

I had agreed with our Threemance Alliance

with me and Leah and Makensy, that we were

going to go work with them.

And so maybe if she just held on for a couple of minutes,

maybe we wouldn't have had to go through that.
