I assumed my time would be devoted

to guiding the most lethal
fighting force on Earth,

but much of my bandwidth

has been consumed by the question:

as a bunch of washed-up renegades.

Disobeying orders in Sweden

by going off base seems only
to have validated that view.

DAVIS: Special Operations
Command is undergoing

a shift away from counterterrorism

to broader deterrence of our
most powerful rival nations.

As a part of this, Bravo
Team will be partnering

with the DEA for a joint task force

focused on the fentanyl trade.

That's a lot of words to say
we're going after drug dealers.

Trip south of the border,
kicking cartel doors?

That works for us, right?

Tier One operators
strapping with the DEA.

What's the value in that?

The value is that this
op will allow the U.S.

to strike a blow against
our most formidable rival.

China.

DAVIS: China produces the
chemical precursors that become

the illicit fentanyl that k*lled over



Although Chinese criminal syndicates

are the ones that are
trafficking the precursors,

they do so with the direct
support of their government.

Drugs sow chaos in the West,

it gives China an edge,
but one team of frogmen

is not gonna be able
to put a dent in that.

By targeting and disrupting a
specific trafficking syndicate,

the Sai Lou, we hope to find evidence

that they are supported by
CCP leadership in Beijing.

When nonaligned states in the region

are presented with that proof,

their allegiance will shift towards us.

So, make 'em see China
as a sleazy dope dealer,

they cozy up to Uncle Sam.

It's a long way from kicking
doors and chasing AQ dirtbags.

Operations like this are
the next era of warfare.

Invisible tactics with
global consequences.

Evolve or fall behind.

ERIC: Bravo will be based
at the American consulate

in Bangkok, Thailand

and should expect to run operations

throughout the Golden
Triangle of Southeast Asia.

So this must be zero-footprint,
with no shots fired.

how big the trouble gets
