on a desperate mission

to save earth from
the evil plottings

of the tyrannical spacelord, Ming the Merciless,

Dr. Hans Zarkov and Dale Ardenhave joined me, Flash Gordon,

on a fantastic journey
into worlds where

peril and adventure await us.

I have no use for any,
except the tall man.

Azura my witch
queen, I beg you.

First you must
lose the memories

of this body you now possess.

Then, we will restore your own.

NARRATOR: Seized by the WitchQueen Azura, Flash's memory

has been destroyed.

And he now believes that heis Gor-don, king of the witch

world, and is leading
his army of witch men

against his friends, PrinceBarin and King Vultan.

And now, Chapter 11, King Flash.

[growling]

That's Flash, leading them!

VULTAN: And Azura the WitchQueen rides beside him!

I think we've come
at a fool's errand.

He needs no rescuing.

Something's wrong.

Flash wouldn't be
attacking us otherwise.

Flash is leading the
witch men against Prince

Barin and King Vultan!

I'm not sure, butAzura's spell is electrical

and if I can interfere
with the field,

perhaps I can weaken her
hold on Flash enough.

Now, your first battle andvictory since your return,

Destroy the invaders!

Barin, Vultan must
not be harmed.

of science, and we can match herpowers with magic of our own,

King Vultan and I

The three prisoners-- the twoearth people and the lion man--

our unfriendly wizard.

AZURA: Forget thispale-faced girl, Gor-don.

I can give you the mostpowerful kingdom on Mongo.

All I want from you,Azura, is our safe passage

from your caverns.

I warned you, Gor-don, noother shall share your love.

And I told you, Gor-don isbut a shadow of a memory--

nothing more.

His love for you
no longer exists.

Then there will be no
escape for you, ever!

Stop her!

She'll bury us all!

[laughing]

Once, long and
long ago, Gor-don,

you fought and
conquered King Talors,

for me and for this kingdom.

Now you will fight him again,and perish for this new love

you value so highly.

Talors, the fire king.

No man can stand against him.

[growling]

Now, we will perish together!

[growling]

It's an energy
creature, Flash.

Use this!

Things are getting
a little too hot.

Why don't we cool
them down a bit?

AZURA: My king,
your wish is mine.

This kingdom is yours, forever.

I, or that part of me that isGor-don, accepts this kingdom,

Azura, but I ask that you ruleit well and wisely for me,

for I must go with my friends.

[laughing]

You've made a powerfulally once more, Flash Gordon.

We will yet be strong enoughto destroy Ming the Merciless.

[laughing]
