A Halloween Feast (2024)

Post by bunniefuu »

[Glass shattering]

[Engine revving]

Looking back, it didn't start

at the infamous family dinner

on a Friday night.

It started way before.

Last year, mom retired from

teaching and I felt she was

having a bit of a hard time

fulfilling her newfound free

time with productive activities.

She started to spend a lot of

time in the yard, and I thought

maybe she got into

some gardening.

I see you.

[Laughter]

It wasn't gardening.

When the goldfish incident

happened,

I started

to worry a bit.

She had told dad that if she

caught him smoking weed again,

his goldfish would be liquefied.

He thought she was joking.

Even though I had moved out of

my family home a year prior, I

saw myself back there a lot to

monitor the concerning behavior.

Hey, have you guys

seen my pet snake?

Ha ha.

At first I tried to see if it

could be explained

by family history.

Some precedents.

Maybe everything comes down

to a chemical imbalance.

Maybe it's all the hormones the

meat industry puts into food

these days.

Maybe it's the suppressive

lot in life women of my mom's

generation had to fill.

Or maybe it's just that some

people are just f*cking crazy.

Dad, have you been smoking?

What? No.

Then why are your eyes red?

Because I didn't

sleep well last night.

Well, if mom finds out,

she's going to go ballistic.

I'm a writer, damn it.

I got to get in the zone.

I'm suffering from a terrible

case of writer's block.

Karen, bring the tea in, please.

Already did.

Oh.

All right.

Yum. There you go.

I gotta go.

Stuart. Stuart.

Bye.

Meatloaf again?

This is the 12th day in a row.

You don't like what I cooked?

No, it's, it's not that. It's.

[Sniffing]

Did you?

Don't lie to me.

[Screaming]

[Muffled screaming]

So, Angela, your husband

dropped the charges.

It's good news, right?

Of course, because

of what happened.

The finger incident.

He wants you to be monitored by

a professional before

you can be released.

That would be me.

I'm Doctor Park.

I'm a psychiatrist.

And I specialize in

behavioral issues.

So.

If we can get you to do

treatments twice a week, we can

get you home soon.

Maybe I can get you to sign a

consent form for treatments.

If you can do that, I'll do

what I can to get you home.

What do you think?

I had a visitor today.

Real or imaginary?

Someone who reminded me of all

the passion that I used to have

for life.

I used to be a dancer, you know.

Have you ever heard of the

pelicans that fly with the

Nutcracker on a cloudy

Tuesday at dawn?

I was the antagonist.

Yes, I was there.

I was in the front row.

I knew you looked familiar.

So did you just give up or.

[Phone ringing]

Excuse me.

Sorry about that.

So who came to visit you today?

[Children laughing and playing]

Are.

Thank you so much for a

wonderful

afternoon with the kids.

They really loved it.

It was really entertaining.

- Thank you.

- Thank you.

Thank you for

coming. Thank you.

Hey, roomie.

Hey. I was just

thinking about you.

I know life has

been nuts lately.

Been spending a lot of time

with my dad, dealing with the

whole situation.

I can't believe we live

together and we

never see each other.

Um. My mom's whole thing

has been so freaky.

I know.

This too shall pass.

I know, and I miss you.

We gotta hang out soon.

Definitely.

Hey, um, come by ZZ's

tomorrow night.

I get off at eight,

we can grab a drink.

Sounds like a plan.

All right, bye.

[Tires screeching]

I am so sorry.

No, it was my fault.

I was jaywalking and

not paying attention.

I'm glad you're okay.

- Thanks.

- Hold on, hold on.

Hello, I'm Boney and I'm here

to help you with your safety.

Next time, make sure to look in

both directions

before you jaywalk.

Can I, I mean, we offer

you a ride.

My parents house is

just around the corner.

Thanks anyways.

Shut up.

- I got stuck at work.

- Again.

It's this new patient.

She's, uh.

She's a lot, believe me.

Lovely. Dinner by myself

three Fridays in a row.

I know, I'm sorry about that.

Nice scarf.

Is that a gift from her?

What? No.

Don't be ridiculous.

Can I come in?

Can't have dessert if

you skipped dinner.

I said I was sorry, Rose.

I'm feeling tired.

I need to be by myself tonight.

Okay.

I get it,

- I'll call you tomorrow.

- I'll call you.

- Good night.

- Goodnight.

Jesus.

God damn it.

I need to do it.

The wedding's in six weeks.

I can't take any chances.

Tomorrow has to be the day.

I'll go with you.

I'll finish the bar at eight

and I head straight to you.

It's a very concerned

sister and bridesmaid.

Thank you.

See you tomorrow night.

You know, in all my years, I

have never seen

a case like this.

And Angela, with all

the time you've put in.

And yesterday's breakthrough.

Dare I say, I think she's ready

to come home full time now.

Of course I wanted to check

to see where the two

of you stand.

Home.

Wow. Full time.

Richard, I'm sorry that

I cut your finger off.

So, uh.

Do you have something to say?

Uh.

It's okay.

Angie. I have nine others.

Okay.

[Laughing]

Doctor. Thank you.

Thank you for everything

you've done for our family.

Absolutely.

Where are you going, dear?

Oh, I thought I'd go write and

let you two discuss

the final plans.

Have you written any

new stuff lately?

Uh, no. Not really.

Well, when you do,

I'd love to read them.

Well, you'll have to

wait a long time, doctor.

Lord knows I have.

Angela, I am trying to.

Please don't let me

stop you from trying.

Richard her saying that.

How does that make you feel?

Hey, dad, can I get

some help over here?

Just a sec.

Excuse me.

Ball-less p*ssy.

I couldn't get this

thing to light.

Yeah.

Let me take a look.

Hey.

What's mom doing back here?

Your mother's coming back home.

Like for good?

[Flames bursting]

Mm mm mm.

What happened to it?

Ow ow ow ow ow.

Let me let me get that for you.

You you relax.

You just came home.

You know, I was thinking

we should take a vacation.

Would you take me back

to Rio again, honey?

Your Rio experience

was before me.

Oh, yeah.

But, you know, I would

love to go to Brazil.

You went there to dance, right?

I'd love to see you dance again.

You know, when I sell my book

of poetry, I'm going to take

you to wherever

your heart desires.

[Bug flying]

[Burps]

Excuse me.

I need to go to work.

[Guitar music playing]

Here you go, Doctor Park.

Thank you, Karen.

- Can I ask you a question?

- Sure.

Is my mom well

enough to be at home?

Absolutely.

Doctor Park.

God damn it, Gujo!

You scared the sh*t out of me.

Don't you got some work to do?

What are you looking at?

Go, go.

Karen.

You know I own you.

You know I carry a

knife and I hate you.

Good.

Hatred paralyzes life.

Love releases it.

Get to work.

I could eat that young

thing for dinner.

I bet you can.

- Business.

- All right, all right.

Relax.

There you go.

Are you kidding me right

now, a f*cking check.

Sorry, I didn't have

time to get cash.

This better not f*cking bounce.

It's not going to bounce.

You didn't get that from us.

Okay.

I am so glad you're home.

Uh, just a second.

Stuart.

Can you usher your

grandma to bed?

And she needs a shower.

But I cleaned her yesterday.

Hey, if you want to continue to

live here rent free, you got to

pitch in more.

Or you could follow your

sister's example and move out

of your parents house.

But we agreed that I would

clean her every other day.

Today. Supposed

to be an off day.

Stuart.

Okay.

Come on, Grandma.

[Upbeat music]

Here you go, Karen.

Great.

Hey.

Remember me?

I almost ran you over yesterday.

Oh, yeah.

Me and the.

- Dinosaur.

- Boney.

His name is Boney.

Yes.

Uh. May I?

Sure.

So, uh, whiskey, diet coke.

What's your poison?

Uh, same without the whiskey.

I'm driving.

Sure thing.

Diet Coke doesn't look

like you need diet.

Thanks. I used to be

an 80 pounds overweight.

Really?

That's hard to believe.

How'd you lose it?

Well, can you keep a secret?

Of course.

I promise.

I,

exercised and ate better.

Wow. That's incredible.

I am sure you are

beautiful at any weight.

Well. Thank you.

I'm Mark.

Karen. Nice to meet you.

- There you go.

- Thank you.

I'm taking off.

I'll see you tomorrow, Karen.

Are you all right?

[Dramatic piano music]

Honey?

Please be careful.

Even though I'd 100% do the

same if I were you.

- If he catches you.

- He won't.

Listen, I need to find out

what's going on. Okay.

You sure you don't

want me to come with?

No. If I'm not out in 20

minutes, you go get help.

Be careful.

It's gonna be fine.

I'll be all right.

Don't worry about it.

Wow. And I thought my

family was dysfunctional.

Another one?

Yeah.

And on top of that, my boss

is a pervert, and he keeps

grabbing my a*s.

Why don't you report him

for sexual harassment?

Have you thought about taking

a bb g*n and

sh**ting him in the ba*ls?

It's complicated.

Why? Tell me about it.

Why don't you tell me about you?

No. Not yet.

Let's talk about how you're

getting out of this very

unpleasant situation.

What are you going

to do about it?

Swallow it.

Cheers.

What do you do for work?

Um, I do children's shows.

Children's shows?

Yeah, I do kids parties

dressed up as Boney.

That's adorable.

How long have you

been doing that?

Uh, a few weeks.

I just moved here.

Oh.

Yeah.

I don't like being where I work.

I know another

place you want to.

Do you want to go there?

[Dramatic music]

Coming for you.

Are you ready for me?

Yeah. Good.

Yeah. Are you?

Yeah.

Are you a bad boy?

In my view of the world, one

does not need the confines of

organized religion to

dictate one's path.

If God's dead, that's free.

And I'll explain to you why.

Truth is.

We must go through it.

As frightening as lonely

and as scary as it is.

Accepting the fact that we're

human, we're deeply flawed, no

longer needing so bad to reach

some absurd divine standard.

It leaves us lighter.

Nietzsche writes in daybreak,

God's death removes the threat

of divine punishment, leaving

us free to do whatever the hell

we want.

To experiment.

You take it like a dog.

- Yes, Mistress.

- Bark like a dog.

[Barking]

To make mistakes along the way.

Bad dog.

To be outrageous.

You f*cking pig!

You are a pig.

Faster, faster, faster!

Without heaven.

There's no hell.

You and I can be the heroes of

our own stories again once we

reclaim from God

our creative wills.

So nice to be with

someone who's normal.

[Vomiting]

Hey, hey.

Are you okay?

Where am I?

You're at my place.

You passed out.

I didn't know where you lived.

What happened last night?

Nothing.

- Did we?

- No.

Thank God.

We had great conversations.

Did we?

You may not remember.

Well, thanks for

sleeping on the floor.

I was going to sleep in the

living room, but I was afraid

you would choke on

your own vomit and die.

Oh.

Um.

I stopped by the drugstore, I

picked up a few things for you.

Toothbrush, mouthwash.

Painkillers. Uh,

tampon, just in case.

Bathroom's right there.

You can take a

shower if you want.

I got clean towels.

Um, and then I can

drive you home.

Wow. You're like the nicest

stranger I've ever met.

The voices are not going away.

They're getting louder.

Like last night?

Yeah. Mhm.

My wife was talking to me.

- Yeah.

- Wasn't my wife.

It was like a weird leprechaun

creature that kept looking at

me and pointing at me.

I need stronger medicine.

Or not as strong medicine.

Or stronger booze.

Uh huh.

I need something because

I can keep going this way.

And you said you would help me.

And it's been very

expensive to pay you doctor.

Uh, look, we got to reschedule.

I need to see some results.

[Dramatic music]

[Music continues]

f*ck.

Where is it?

You b*stard!

I thought you loved me.

I do love you, Rose.

I've seen the tape.

I've seen everything.

You're sick.

Not to mention

incredibly unethical.

For the love of God,

give me the tape.

Do you know what

this can do to me?

I hope they send you to

jail for a very long time.

Get off me!

I'll tell you what

I'm gonna do to you.

[Muffled screaming]

Quiet.

Quiet.

Where's the tape?

On the table.

You sick son of a b*tch!

To think I almost married you.

Yeah, to think about it.

Go ahead and keep it.

I found someone to transfer

it into files.

Have you heard of

digital technology?

What, are you stuck in 1995?

Oh, I get it.

You thought you were smart

because no one

uses tapes anymore.

Clever, Mr. Park.

Very clever.

My sister has a copy on a

portable hard drive, as does my

lawyer, and it's on the cloud.

Do you know what that is?

It's not cumulus nimbus, but

it'll raise a hell of a storm.

I also have a low res version

to go on the internet for the

whole world to see.

What do you want from me?

A hundred thousand.

A hundred grand.

It'll help me recover from

the emotional distress.

Well.

Where am I going to

get that kind of cash?

You have until Friday.

Get out!

Rose. Come on.

Let's be reasonable, Rose.

Yeah you're right.

Oh, no.

The weirdness has been

going on for a long time.

One time I brought a guy home

to spend the night, and the

next morning she said something

to him so disturbing that he

left and never

talked to me again.

I mean,

I don't even know what she said.

I have to say, that worked

really well in my favor.

Yeah, so I needed some distance.

I wanted to cut

them out completely.

But then my brother, he just

kept telling me things and I

couldn't do that to him.

I completely understand.

Wow. Here it is.

She inherited it from

her great grandfather.

Are you ready for this?

I'm excited.

I love the girl.

But I have to warn you,

she is kind of strange.

I like strange people.

Her real name is Susan, but

we all call her goth girl.

Her and I have been best

friends since, like, junior

high school.

It only made sense that we

would live together one day.

My room is in the back.

Sorry I missed our

date the other day.

Couldn't finish the

voodoo thingy on time.

Went until five in the morning,

but I'm glad by me not coming.

You two were able to connect.

It was destiny.

Susan's connected

to the other side.

She'll be able to tell if you

and I are going to work out.

And if not, I have to stop

seeing you immediately.

Sounds fair.

These look so real.

They are.

Isn't it ill*gal to

own human remains?

Yeah. She stole them from the

biology department at college.

Come into the circle

for protection.

The spell has been passed on

for centuries, but it is still

one of the most powerful spells

for attracting love, or for

finding out if love

is real or just lust.

Please sit down.

[Phone ringing]

Hello.

Doctor Park?

Who's this?

This is attorney David Ross.

I represent Rose Lowery.

This is a courtesy call to let

you know your license

is in jeopardy.

I have the video.

So, what do you want from me?

I don't want anything from you.

I just want you to

settle with my client.

I'm sure you don't

want to see this.

Video go public.

That's f*cking blackmail!

God damn it.

Roger!

What the hell are you?

Your check bounced.

You sorry sack of sh*t.

This sh*t is not free.

Whoa!

How about I just cut your

f*cking eyeball out right now?

Like that.

I'm working on it.

Got till Friday.

f*cking Friday.

Let's go.

Assholes.

Now, I bind three hairs

from each of you.

With this wool.

Rue Sancti Spiritus rains,

nostrils and horn.

Dominates.

Hey.

You want to see

Karen's dad's finger?

They couldn't sew my dad's.

Finger back on because all

the nerve endings died.

Don't ask me how she got it.

That's ghost horse.

Ghost horse?

Ghost horse has captured the

soul of a Victorian era child.

He says he's happy, but he

doesn't want to be

taken for granted.

You guys are good to go.

- Really?

- Yeah.

That's it.

Yeah.

I was pretty confident about it.

By the way.

How old is your brother now?

Uh, he just turned 20.

And you're sure he never.

Absolutely. He shares

a room with my grandma.

There's no way he's

getting any action.

Is there any way you

could introduce us?

Sure. Perfect.

I need a virgin for a

ritual on October 31st.

How old is she?

My age.

We went to junior high together.

Remember? Oh, yeah.

You know what they say about

older women being teachers?

I need a teacher.

I'll watch a lot of porn.

Oh, God.

Okay, whatever.

Do you want to hook up or not?

Yeah.

Sure. But does she know that

I share a room with grandma?

So, Angela, overall,

how are you doing?

Well, I have been

getting those, um,

urges again.

You know, I was afraid of that

since our therapy

sessions ended.

Well, we both know what it

takes to make them stop.

Yeah, we do, don't we?

Ma'am, I'm so sorry.

I'm so, so sorry.

Thank you.

There's something else.

Rose is pissed

about our sessions.

She has the tape.

She gave it to her sister

and her lawyer. Made copies.

She's made some

digital copies too.

This gets out.

It's going to ruin me.

You worry too much.

It'll all work out.

I don't know.

Excuse me.

I have to go to the ladies room.

Oh, sure.

Angela?

Excuse me.

Hi.

I'm sorry, but it's been 25

minutes and we haven't

seen our server.

I'm so sorry, sir, but I'm

happy to help you with whatever

you need.

What can I get you?

I'd love another bottle of wine.

Thank you.

Where the hell is she?

Kiss my shoe.

Yes, mistress.

- You like that?

- Yes, mistress.

- Are you my little piggy boy?

- Yes, mistress.

- Are you my piggy f*ck?

- Yes, mistress.

Lick my shoe!

These feet have danced

around the world.

Lick it more, lick it big.

Lick it a lot.

You like that, don't you?

Angela?

I'm home.

Where the hell have you been?

Well, I had a meeting.

With my doctor.

Really this late?

Would you pay him for

some additional sessions?

Honey, our finances are

spread way too thin.

Don't you want to

see me get well?

What? What are you doing?

I'm back, baby.

Ricardo play sexy music.

[R&B music playing]

[Playfully growling]

I'm coming for you.

Oh. What?

What the hell is that?

That's it. That's it.

I am out of here.

You take care of the crazy lady.

But she's your mother.

Angela. Well, it's almost

one in the morning.

Where are you going now?

Is everything all right?

It's late.

Go back to bed.

Can we talk about this?

Mom's not well enough to be

discharged from the hospital.

Okay. Everything's been

so weird around here.

We have to give your

mom some more space.

Things could get worse

before they get better.

So you're saying

things could get worse?

So what if she cuts off

another one of your fingers?

Then maybe you'll wake up.

You know you're being

disrespectful, young man.

I can't wait to be

away from you freaks.

Well, you know, if you hate us

so much, you need to move out.

You may have to get another

job because apartments are

expensive, and I don't think

delivering pizza will cut it.

Good night.

[Burping]

Recklessness. Risk.

But the question you asked

earlier about your

romance flourishing.

This is a yes.

Illusion,

manipulation.

What?

Nothing.

Yes.

You too will have sex.

Not yet.

Why not?

Your back room is

very soundproof.

Seems clear to me.

Fertility and love.

Oh yeah baby.

It's getting steamy.

I love it.

I have a question.

My family situation.

Will that be okay?

For you, yes.

Only for me.

Maybe.

I see you.

What does that mean?

You have to welcome death.

There's no new beginning

without an ending.

So. Your sister gave you a tape.

Are you going to

tell me where it is?

[Whimpering]

f*cking crazy.

Oh, never mind.

I'll find it myself.

After all, it

shouldn't be that hard.

You already have that

information in your head.

The answer that I

want is right inside.

It's right inside.

I don't know what

you're talking about.

I don't know what you're

talking about.

I will find it one

way or another.

I have to find this answer.

And I know that it is somewhere.

In your brain.

Betrayal.

I have to go to bed.

Did you see anything?

I'm tired.

Nighty night, you two.

Karen.

Mark, can you help?

You sleep in there.

Yeah.

Mark, do you want to stay over?

I would love to, but I have a

kids party tomorrow morning, so

I better get going.

Uh, by the way, um, maybe you

should go easy

with the drinking.

I could help you.

I don't need your help.

Thanks anyways though.

Dad, do you know what time

mom got home last night?

I have no idea.

I smoked some weed.

I drank three old fashioneds.

And then I took

two sleeping pills.

I know what time mom

got home last night.

Sorry I'm late.

What's all this?

Some pizza.

Pizza for breakfast.

Stewart, you are my hero.

You're welcome.

Mom agreed not to

cook breakfast.

We were all very relieved.

Mm mm.

Now that we're all here before

she comes, can we

talk about this?

Mom got home at 4 a.m.

last night.

The night before two.

I mean, what the hell?

Where is she?

[Burping]

Okay, look, I know I have to

have a serious talk

with her, okay?

But now's not the time.

If this isn't the

time, when is it?

This is family time.

I see you.

Are you talking about me?

Not at all.

Huh? Pizza.

I'm aware of the fact that

sometimes I act strangely.

But my doctor has found ways in

which I can feel normal again.

So I have an

announcement to make.

Halloween is coming, and I'd

like to do something here at

our home.

A small gathering, perhaps,

of family and friends.

I shall prepare a glorious

feast, and we shall renew our

loving bonds with each other.

I expect all of you here with

your best friends at midnight

on Halloween.

Midnight?

Sure sounds like fun.

Sit down. Let's eat.

Well, I have to be somewhere,

but save me a couple of slices.

Okay.

Bye bye.

[Screaming]

What the hell?

You have a video that

belongs to Doctor Park.

[Shouting]

Where is it?

Oh. Never mind.

[Shouting]

Not today, b*tch.

Oh my God.

Oh, no!

Come on, let's go, let's go.

Okay.

Oh, no.

Oh! Come on.

f*cking keys!

Come on, come on,

come on, come on.

No, no.

No.

No, no.

No, no, no.

I've got many loans from you.

Why am I being denied now?

I'm very sorry, sir.

We just have a new manager.

Damn it!

God damn it!

I can't accept your

loan at this time.

I've been a client for 22 years.

Put me on with the manager.

God damn it!

Oh, I wasn't expecting you.

I'll call you back later.

I brought you a present.

Oh.

You did, did you?

How the hell did you get these?

Well, now you ask

too many questions.

Yes I do.

So how are you

going to punish me?

Hmm.

Go.

I will see you later.

I see you.

- Hello?

- It's me.

I don't have your money, Rose.

These things take time.

Can you just give

me another day?

Just get me my damn money.

What the f*ck?

Calm down.

I'll get your damn money.

God.

I have urges.

Tell the doctor.

Let's be reasonable, Rose.

Playtime's over.

Have a seat, Roger.

How does everybody keep

getting into this place?

The door was unlocked.

Oh my God.

No th*gs today.

I don't need any help.

It's Friday, I

need payment.

Kujo, I've been trying to

tell you.

All I need to do is

[Shouting]

Mother f*ck.

Don't make me sh**t you

in the f*cking ba*ls.

Payment now!

I'm trying.

Kujo. It's been a

rough f*cking week.

I don't give a sh*t.

Every week's a rough week.

That's just part

of f*cking life.

It's simple.

You pay me now, you

live, you don't, you die.

One more day, please.

One more minute.

That's it.

Look, I just got to

make one phone.

54, 53, 52, 51.

All right, all right.

How about half tonight

and half tomorrow?

Half is in that drawer.

You better not be

f*cking lying to me.

You got a g*n on me, Kujo.

I'm not f*cking lying.

It's f*cking empty.

[Screaming]

You f*ck!

Rose?

I'd like to have

a chat with you.

Rose?

Happy Halloween.

Oh, sorry about this.

Okay.

Kind of early to go to the bar.

You want to head

back to your place?

Sure.

[Knocking on door]

Roger.

What's wrong?

Something happened

to Rose last night.

Really?

Well. Come in.

You smell like garlic.

Don't be afraid.

Come closer.

I, um,

I like your costume.

What costume?

Are you sure It's cool that

I come to the party tonight?

Yeah. Of course.

I dug up grandpa.

His body's not here

anymore, though.

They took it back.

Right before he died.

I looked into his eyes, had a

vision of his weakening heart

beating in his chest.

I was only 14.

And I miss him terribly.

So I sleep inside so I

can feel close to him.

Is that what you're wearing?

Um.

Yeah. I don't have a costume.

It's Halloween.

Maybe I've got

something for you.

Doctor Park?

- Richard.

- What are you doing here?

I was in the neighborhood, and

I just thought I'd stop by and

check on Angela.

Oh, she's doing amazing.

Her progress is great.

That's good.

I'm gonna have a drink.

Anyone want another one?

No, thank you.

I'm gonna let you

two have a good talk.

I'm gonna get back

to my writing.

I was at Rose's last night.

I was just going

to threaten her.

But somebody k*lled her.

I know.

What do you know?

The little wh*re was

blackmailing you, so I k*lled

the sl*t, and her

sister, and her lawyer.

You can't just go around

k*lling people.

Oh shush.

But what about Richard?

Oh, he went back to his writing.

He's like a damn hermit.

He rarely ever comes out.

He just came out.

Roger.

Shut the f*ck up!

Oh, not here please.

[Gagging]

Look at you.

I look like a shriveled

up Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Come here.

In there?

Yeah.

In the coffin.

Yeah.

Oh.

Don't be afraid.

Get in.

We all end up in one anyway.

Either that or burnt to a crisp.

Comfortable, right?

Yeah, actually.

Memory foam.

Richard? Is that

marijuana in my house?

Mm.

Are you criticizing my behavior?

You know, I have put up with

your sh*t for way too long.

How long has this been going on?

Were you even trying

to get better?

I'm so sorry, Richard.

You don't have to

apologize to him.

It's not your fault that he's

a pathetic loser who can't

satisfy me.

Calm down, Richard. Can't

you see I am well?

f*ck you.

I stayed calm when you cut off

my finger and fed it to me.

I stayed calm when I

pooped it out the next day.

I thoroughly cleaned it, and

then I collected all the bone

fragments and sent it off to an

Etsy store where they

made this necklace.

I have worn this necklace every

day and you have

never even noticed.

Oh.

You are nothing but

a psychotic wh*re!

You're right,

Richard.

Oh, Richard, I'm

so proud of you.

You finally had some

ba*ls to stand up to me.

Angela, stop!

You stay out of this.

This is between

me and my husband.

I hope you burn in hell.

[Heavy breathing]

f*ck.

Finally, I can clearly see

the nihilistic viewpoint that

you've been trying to show me.

So nothing really matters.

There's no greatness

to anything that we do,

whether good,

or bad,

or nothing at all.

It's just the human experience.

Exactly.

I feel so free.

Damn it!

[Moaning]

Oh, yeah.

[Moaning]

Oh, can you give me a hand here?

I got a party to

plan for tonight.

God, Angela, you are

so f*cked up.

Ah, you are such a hypocrite.

Oh sh*t.

I see you.

Hi Angela. How did you

get around here?

I ran around the back.

Angela, I'm not taking

the blame for this.

This has gotten out of hand.

Nope, nope, nope.

- Oh.

- Getting out of here.

Whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa.

Look what I found.

Angela, you don't want

to do that, Angela.

Oh, but it is so much fun.

[g*nsh*t]

Angela.

You got to take me

to the hospital.

You gotta.

Oh, I think you hit an artery.

Ricardo play Chopin.

[Piano music playing]

[Laughter]

[Upbeat music playing]

[Laughter]

Woo!

[Dance music playing]

I can't believe you've

only been here a few weeks.

Do you miss Brazil?

Yeah, but don't worry

about me moving back there.

My new life is here.

Well, I would love

to visit sometime.

Well, I'd love to take

you there someday.

You want a beer, Karen?

Oh, no, thanks.

I'll have a beer.

Enjoy, boss.

You'll remember tonight?

Maybe you'll be the

one who doesn't.

We both will.

Tonight will be a night

to be remembered.

[Burping]

Hey, Karen.

Violet never showed up.

I'm going to need

you to work tonight.

I took tonight off.

- We're understaffed.

- I don't care.

There's too many people here.

Get to work now.

I quit.

What? Get to work now.

Do what I say.

f*ck you.

You heard her.

Get the f*ck out of here.

Zip it, Chachi.

Are you serious right

now with this f*cking clown?

You can be with King d*ck.

King f*cking d*ck.

Ah!

No stop! I can deal

with him, okay?

No, Karen, it's totally fine.

Okay, let me talk to him.

- Sit down.

- Ah!

Oh my God, are you okay?

Oh my God, are you okay?

f*ck you.

I will call the police.

Get out of my face!

No you won't.

I f*cking hate you.

Mark, are you okay?

- Yeah.

- Yeah.

Just hold on. I need to

go to the bathroom.

Okay.

Oh, sh*t.

You here for another

beating, Boney?

You disrespected Karen.

Come on.

Get the f*ck off me!

If I ever see you here again,

I'll cut your f*cking ba*ls off.

[Shouting and grunting]

Come on.

Come on.

Come on.

Yeah! Come on.

Get him!

Let's eat.

You reached Mark's voicemail.

I'm not here right now.

I may be busy with little kids.

Double whiskey on the rocks.

- Hey hey.

- Hey.

Hey, are you even

coming tonight?

Sorry babe, we're

gonna meet you at dinner.

The rituals are going

great here at ours.

Okay. Yeah, it's my brother.

But have fun.

We'll see you at your

parents later.

- Cheers.

- Thanks.

We took care of the little punk.

Good.

Now let's go get Doctor Park.

On the way here, we saw his car

parked near Karen's

family's house.

Near Karen's family's house.

I'm thrilled.

Let's go there.

Anything Karen related I want?

Let's go get the m*therf*cker.

I'm going to take

that b*stard's eye.

Right we are.

Ah!

Oh, no.

What?

No no no no no no

no no no no no.

No!

Why me!

Hey.

Sorry to interrupt.

No problem, roomie.

Where's Mark?

I don't know.

How'd you get here?

I walked.

Actually, it gave

me time to think.

And I think that I don't want

any part of what's happening

here tonight.

So I'm just passing

by to say, have fun.

And I'm going to be back at

home at our place, having a

relaxing evening, and I might

have to sleep in the coffin.

Okay. Bye.

No.

No. Please stay.

We need you here. Please.

Actually, yeah. Can you stay?

I have to get out of here.

I need distance from this

family and from this town.

I have to go.

You need to chill.

Stewart.

She's obviously

making a large feast.

Just stay please.

Why is Mark not here?

Well, he turned out

to be a bit of a d*ck.

What happened?

The as*h*le f*cking disappeared

and didn't tell me

where he was going.

Don't leave us alone

with this, please.

What the hell was that?

Mom, why is the door blocked?

I'm making a surprise

for the party, honey.

Do you need any help?

No thank you.

I've got everything

under control.

Please.

That sounded like a chainsaw.

There's probably something

wrong with the blender.

Are you insane?

I don't want to take the bus.

Kujo does not ride the bus.

God damn it!

How long do we wait here?

f*ck!

Oh, hey.

You want some candy?

It's Boney.

Are you all right?

What happened to you?

Kujo's g*ons beat

the crap out of me.

Ta da.

Mark!

What is this?

I work with kids.

Really? How wonderful!

Well, come.

Wait, you two know each other?

It's a long story.

Let's have dinner and I'll

tell you all about it.

Finally. I'm starving.

So, Karen.

This is the boy that

you've been dating?

Yes.

Susan says they're

sleeping together.

Mark, you should be

ashamed of yourself.

Sex with your sister?

That's just not right.

What the hell are

you talking about?

Well, many years ago, my ballet

troupe went to Brazil, and

that's where I

met Mark's father.

Oh.

Ricardo.

Oh, God, he was so handsome.

And the next thing I knew,

I was pregnant with Mark.

What?

So you're our brother and

you had sex with our sister.

All I wanted was to

be part of the family.

So I made it happen.

Appetizers.

So are those chocolate?

Not chocolate.

Sausage? Looks real.

Oh, I counted 19 fingers.

I thought that was chicken.

That was definitely not chicken.

Oh, my God, everything

does taste like chicken.

Okay, this is some

whacked out sh*t.

I am out of here.

Sit down.

Mom, let her go.

Karen, your friend

is being rude.

This is obviously,

beyond some sick family issue.

The finger in the jar at

my place that I showed you.

It's fake.

The skulls, the coffin.

They're all movie

props and magic spells.

The voodoo thing, the rituals.

It's all fantasies of

mine that I made up.

Goth girl.

It's a vibe.

I love pranking people and

I love getting people out of

their comfort zones, but I

happen to know the difference

between my props, my

daydreams, and real life.

But this, this,

is real.

What the f*ck?

Woah.

She's dead.

What the hell is wrong

with you?

Forget her Stuart. Let's eat.

I spent hours

preparing that meal.

I said let's eat.

God. That girl

always annoyed me.

Mm. You really should pick

better friends, Karen.

Having you all here

together at dinner.

Oh, nothing could

make me happier.

To family.

Everything is going to

be okay, Stuart.

No!

Whoops. My finger slipped.

Stuart.

Oh, it's okay, honey.

He's in heaven now.

There is no heaven, mom. Remember.

That's right.

This is f*cked.

You are pure evil and I

don't even know where the hell

you came from.

That is rude, young lady.

Mom.

Let's quit fighting.

Let's have quality

time together.

The hospital visitation

was way too brief.

You're right, Mark.

To family.

To family.

Hmm.

Is this blood?

Yeah, it's a red blend.

Not bad.

Oh. Take one.

Honey, are you okay?

Are you all right?

Get away from me!

Are you mad at me?

Am I mad at you?

Enough chit-chat.

Let's eat.

Dad? Why?

Cause he wouldn't quit smoking.

Well, can you blame him?

She has a point.

Try this one, Karen.

It is the best I ever made.

A little ground beef, a little

Doctor Park, a little

of your father.

You are sick.

You know, I spent hours making

this wonderful meal and you

have done nothing but be rude.

[g*nsh*t]

Stop Mom!

I'm sorry, Mark, but your

sister is being a little brat.

I see you.

What the hell is wrong with you?

Oh, well what can I say?

I like to cook.

It's, uh.

Uh, therapeutic.

What are you girls up to?

Oh, let's play a game.

How about charades?

Yes.

I used to play it all the

time when I was a kid.

I was the best.

You were.

Who am I?

Hmm?

Are they snakes coming

out of your head?

Are you from Greek mythology?

You are Medusa and I

just turned into stone.

Hahaha. That's right.

Let's play something else.

Mark. Did you really have

sex with your sister?

Yeah.

But I love her.

[g*n clicks]

I should have raised you better.

Oh, wait.

I didn't raise you.

[g*n clicks]

[Laughter]

What a rush!

Oh, Karen, you know that I love

you, but this is

just so much fun.

Mom. Let's keep her out of this.

Looks like you're having

a real rough time.

And it breaks my heart

to see you like this.

Do you need a hug?

Try me.

I am getting really tired of

your attitude, young lady.

[g*n clicks]

See?

Isn't it a rush?

Yeah, it's a f*cking blast.

Where are you going?

You can f*cking sh**t me.

I am out of here.

Okay?

[Burps]

[Upbeat rock music]

You remind me,

so much of your father.

Uh. I wish that he could

see me dance again.

Mom.

It's your turn.

Oh.

[g*nsh*t]

We belong together, Karen.

[Knife stabbing]

Ah.

Why'd you do that?

Ah! Oh it hurts.

I was going to ask you,

to marry me.

Will you?

No f*cking way.

Where are you, Doctor Park?

Come out, you piece of sh*t!

I know you're here.

Come out so I can

beat you to a pulp!

Like the pig you are!

Hey, hey.

What?

Is that Doctor Park?

This is f*cked.

I got a bus to catch.

f*ck! Who's gonna

pay me my money now?

[Clears throat]

What the?

Is this you?

You did all this,

you crazy b*tch!

[Nervously laughing]

I'm just joking.

I'm joking.

This is.

I didn't know you had it in you.

This is actually

kind of exciting.

I'm a little,

I'm a little hard.

[g*nsh*t]

[Piano music playing]

What the f*ck!

You f*cking b*tch!

[Screaming]

You just blew my d*ck off!

Oh, you f*cking b*tch.

You f*cking b*tch.

It hurts.

Oh!

[Together]

Trick or treat.

Wow!

- Incredible.

- Best decorations ever.

I guess if this is all just

going through the human

experience and there are really

no consequences, then let it be.

[Police sirens]

And if Mark doesn't bleed out

and die, I guess I'll hear from

him tomorrow.

A day at a time.

And if I happen to have the

crazy in me as well, so be it.

According to Nietzsche, if we

believe in nothing, if nothing

has any meaning, and if we can

affirm no values whatsoever,

then everything is possible.

And nothing has any importance.

[Upbeat music]
