Oh, that dog! Why, I say,
what a phony!
"Protector!" Phooey!

More like
a grade "A" pretender.

Now, I'm just the rooster
to show them all

that Fido ain't nothing
but a flea-bitten
henhouse zero.

'Course, I'll need to find
a sucker...
I mean, a volunteer

to help me knock that dog
down a peg.

♪ I'm gonna get that rotten dog
Doo-dah, doo-dah♪

♪ Show 'em all

All the doo-dah day♪

[growling]

Calm down now, son,
or you'll hurt yourself!

Now, listen, I'm here
with a proposition for ya.

How'd you like a nice, fat,
juicy chicken for breakfast?

Yeah, yeah, yeah! [smacks lips]

Good. Then I'll show you
how to get yourself one.

And I'll show those hens
that dog ain't nothing
but a farm-fresh phony.

Alright then...

First, I say, first, what you
got to do is get over that
there fence.

Now, just follow
my instructions and... Huh?

Pay attention, son,
you didn't let me finish.

Nice boy, but dumber than
a box of dead grasshoppers.

Now, as I was sayin',
the way to get over that fence

is you gotta vault
yourself over.
Pole vault, that is.

Then those delicious
chickens will be all yours.

No, no, boy!
You gettin' ahead of yourself.

First, the vaultin',

then the eatin'.
Let me demonstrate.

You see, boy, nothing to--

[weasel yelling]

Listen up, boy. I say,
we need to approach this
from another angle.

Angle, that is.

Now, you simply need
the right tools, boy.

To get through
that there fence,

you just need this
handy dandy little gadget.

You know what to do
with one of these, boy?
Don't ya?

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah!

Boy's like a dirt road
through a cornfield...

Nothing between the ears.

You gotta use your noodle.

This here tool's got a purpose
and it ain't to dig, ya dig?

You just gotta cut...

[dizzy] I think, I say, I think
I smell burnt toast.

Now what we have here
is a bona fide wonder
of modern invention.

The catapult.

This is your ticket
over yonder fence, son.

Now, off you go.

[struggling]

Nice boy, but a few grapes
short of a box of raisins.

You gotta cut the rope
like this.

Uh, clearly...
The principal of the thing
works...

Uh, I merely miscalculated
the trajectories, I say.
Trajectories, I say.

I'll just adjust these vectors
and variables and voila!

Uh, I got it now...

I say, I know what I did wrong.

I... I gotta set
the wind resistance...

I... I gotta set

And uh, the weight,
the distance...

Try... Try again.

I did it! I say, I did it!
I'm flying. Woohoo!

Well, don't just
stand there, boy,

get me outta here!

Now what the heck
are you doing?

The best lesson is
sometimes the hardest, son.

Now pick up my feathers.

and we'll try plan D.
"D" for desperate, that is.

All right, son, this is it.

I'm gonna get
in this here chicken sack,

then you drag me
to your little hidey hole

just as if you were
dragging home a nice,
big, fat juicy chicken

ready for eatin'.

Yeah, yeah, yeah! [slurping]

And all them chicken ladies
will see what a terrible,

I say, terrible protector
that stupid dog is!

[clears throat]
Oh, calamity. I say!

I say, a vicious weasel
has invaded our barnyard.

And once again,
that flea-bitten,

flimflamming fool
of a guard dog
has failed to protect us.

Now, this rooster, this smart,
handsome rooster, I might add,

is being dragged away
to a cold, heartless,
weaselly fate.

Oh, the incivility.

Oh, the humanity, I say.

Oh, the... [sniffing]

Mmm, hmm. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Help! Save me! I say, save me!

The weasel's got me. Help!

Help, that is.
Somebody save me!

Ya win some, ya lose some.
