- Data scans indicate no unusual energy

in the area of the Salisbury Plain.

- Something very weird is going on here.

- Dynac's sensors are picking up a cloud of static

continually flickering in and out of existence.

- Over the Salisbury Plain?

- Yeah, you know the place, Mandrake?

Hey, maybe we should ask our old friend Enigma

about this mystery.

solve a lot of mysteries lately.

Looks like some kind of plan.

Mandrake, what's Stonehenge?

- It is a circle of ancient, huge, rough-cut stones

in Salisbury, England, Kshin.

No one knows exactly who placed them there.

Some scholars believe

that Stonehenge was connected with sun-worship.

Others say it served as an astronomical calendar.

- Look, the Enigma book has a blueprint

showing how to build it.

Something's happening at Stonehenge!

Kshin, I want you to copy that diagram for me.

And don't let this book out of your sight.

- Dynac's not getting a reading on the energy.

- Dynac can't analyze this kind of energy, Flash!

Something from another dimension

is trying to break through into our plane of existence,

and we must stop it!

- Then what are we waiting for, Mandrake?

But why does this Kronos want it?

What is the book?

- To tell you that,

I must tell you of the land of Magic,

another dimension

which long ago was ruled by a man named Enigma!

Enigma master of mysteries,

who lived only to share his knowledge

for the good of others.

But a sorcerer named Kronos

sought to rule the Land of Magic,

and cast a spell on Enigma.

But Enigma turned Kronos' spell around,

so that he could still impart his wisdom to others.

- Enigma is the book!

- Precisely!

It found its way to our world,

and began teaching Early Man

in the ways of tools and building.

Then, I found the book,

and it taught me the way of its homeland,

the ways of magic.

With its help, I created

the great college of Magic.

- But why has Kronos come for the book now?

- Kronos is a cruel ruler!

He conquered, then he destroyed the Land of Magic.

Even the stars are gone.

- There is little magic in our world, Theron.

Kronos' powers are limited here.

- Kronos plans to use Enigma's knowledge

to bring his magic here,

so that he may conquer our universe.

Whatever happens,

that book must not be allowed to fall into Kronos' hands!

- And you must not enter Stonehenge itself

under any condition.

Theron and I are working on a formula

to restore Flash and the others.

- What's the book say, Kshin?

- It just shows Stonehenge!

- Stonehenge is the last place Mandrake said it should be.

- Whatever the reason, we're taking it there!

- Maybe the book helped to build Stonehenge.

Maybe it designed Stonehenge

as a door back to the Land of Magic!

- Sure, the door swings both ways.

- But it doesn't explain why the book wants to go there.

- How can I help at all, Theron?

about how to bring them back to life?

- It just shows this stone table!

If we pulled them out of here, it might break the spell!

Kronos will use it to destroy the world!

- We've got to break the spell.

We've got the change Enigma back to his true form.

- But not even Enigma knows how to do that.

- I think he's shown me a way.

Theron, can you use your powers to rebuild Stonehenge

to its original form?

- With Mandrake's help, it is possible.

- Kshin may be right.

Enigma is guiding Kshin's actions.

to come into their rightful place,

giving me the power to break Kronos' spell

and return to the Land of Magic,

and return I must,

to undo the damage Kronos caused.

- So why is everybody standing around like statues?

- Sure am gonna miss Enigma.

In a sense, all books are like him.

Every book is a piece of the person who wrote it.

Every book is a person.

And the characters, Huck Finn, Hercules, all other twist

the most wonderful people you could ever meet.
