in their Partners creating a powerful Alliance of four this is the crew

co-head of household James devised the plan of attack Upper Deck the top shelf

of the people that are on the wall right now Shannon Parker done you're gonna see

Alex and Amanda done Operation Condor foreign

but at the nomination ceremony he went back on his word and we nominated Maddie

and Natalie because we need you to win the POV we want to make sure that a couple does go home Alex blamed Amanda

for their nomination there wasn't one thing said about me two emergencies sent

shockwaves through the house is someone there please Allison had a severe allergic reaction please I'm like my

throat's really closing right now while at the same moment Amanda collapsed Amanda just fainted or

something

James really did step up to the plate I didn't think he'd made up like that and I'm I'm very proud of my friend James

[Music] after recovering at a hospital she's alive

Amanda and Allison returned to the house how you doing sweetheart giving everyone

some perspective we need to all change the way we are to each other oh it's just all reacted sorry not sorry too

having won the power of veto Josh and Sharon announced their decision

unfortunately we've decided not to use the power of me to help who will be evicted from the Big Brother house Alex

and Amanda or Matt and Natalie and which couple will become the new head of

good evening I'm Julie Chen welcome to big brother it's day 21 and this week

the house was rocked to the core as medical emergencies gave the house guests A New Perspective on the game and

life Amanda's sudden collapse and Allison's severe allergic reaction rallied the house guests as they rushed

to come to their aid fortunately both have recuperated and are back in the house and back in the game this week's

head of household couple James and Chelsea shook things up by going back on their word nominating Matt the roofer

from Boston and Natalie the bikini barista from Oregon for eviction they now find themselves on the chopping

block with long time allies Alex the DJ company owner from New York and Amanda

the paralegal from Minnesota tonight the journey will end for one of these

couples but first Operation Condor seemed to be a done deal it was certain

that Alex Amanda would be going but as we all know in the Big Brother house the

pendulum always swings back and forth

man and Alex Matt Natalie sure and I both love you both a lot

unfortunately we have decided not to use the power of veto

besides of respect the hoh's decision as well as this is what the house wants so we're

with with that being said the speed of eating is a jerk

[Music] Sharon and I thought I'd be our best interest to leave both of the strong

couples on the Block they are definitely a force to be reckoned with and that's why they have to be broken up

Operation Condor is in full effect I have Ryan and Adam on board which are the two votes that I need to get Alex

Amanda out of the house Revenge I want to stay obviously but I don't

want to campaign against matter we're good friends so I'm not campaigning against them

Alex is my boy I got nothing bad to say about it but uh for me to just you know lay down and let people just vote me out

that's not gonna happen I'm going to do what I have to do to stay May the best be and win you know [Music]

well good morning how you feeling today how did the doctor go today it was good

the doctor was like make sure you eat five times today

I collapsed the other day because I am hypoglycemic I have low blood sugar

there's more cereal in the back right absolutely isn't one particular you want me to get for you I don't know I'll go

back there a lot I think so my blood sugar it's still low so every day I've

been watching what I eat to try to get my levels higher bye Amanda

it was just like a day to realize that this just is a game and uh ultimately we

care about each other in this house [Music]

we stay you know I got you my man I know just try to make me stay you know I can probably do that you know what I mean

and then after that and then one of the two of us from HOH that's it then it's it's on

yeah that's it by the grace of God you understand

one of the two of the way you know what I mean I hope so that's all we need is two votes I got you

I need one more vote we gotta do it let's make it happen that's the only joke we got bro all right like seriously

yeah I've never talk to me getting a life

it hit me that Matt and Natalie are already very strong and will be tough to

beat good job okay there we go I can do 65 pounds I thought they would be our

toughest competitors and this is our perfect opportunity to get them out the door

just had another thought it just hit me Maddie and daddy have been eating real food all week plus

they're strong and plus they've been on the block all week

which makes them weaker just something to think about [Music]

the important a lot of thought of this girl I am because I'm just thinking about the scenario but I'm telling you I'm gonna go for

Maddie this day [Music] I did defend Maddie in a sense because I

want Condor to be a success I think a better move [Music]

so I was like you know what I can put Operation Condor on hold and bring up operation bro down goodbye Matt and

Natalie I was totally got no for that you know the street Mountain alley go home this week and then keep Amanda now

until next week because they'll be tired I know I can convince Ryan that it's

gonna be two votes he and I Josh and Sharon versus one Sheila and Adam

which means Matt and Natalie will be gone

this is what you have to do remind Josh

don't feel like you have our absolute word we're not put you up next week if you want HOH like you you're going to

say things like this okay this is this is up to you because you're friends with them you hang with them we're gonna do

what we gotta do to stay away

it's like what I should come down to I was just telling cheering that um

we've been friends from day one so I definitely feel like I have a special

bond with Sharon and Joshua hopefully they'll stick to their word and vote for me and Maddie to stay

for you know for us since day one you know they they put us up on the Block I know if the votes would have been tied

they would have voted Saudi here the only thing is can we beat Maddie and Maddie and at the end can we beat them

you and I Matt and Natalie are strong very strong those would be the two people that I'd want to get out of the

house immediately we're in a good spot but a tough spot because so many things can happen with our decision I need to

get Alex and Amanda out of here coming up will Alex and Amanda or Matt

and Natalie be leaving the Big Brother house tonight the house guests will be voting live it's anyone's guess who will

be going home let's go to the diary room to hear what Adam and Sheila have to say I'm not gonna lie to you I really really

enjoy Alex's company you're gonna miss him baby I would miss him just don't make me start crying man he's um

probably we're closest to Ally and I definitely think there'll be a good asset to have for us in the household this time

welcome back to big brother it's time to go to the living room and check in with the house guests hello everyone

[Applause] Amanda Nelson you gave us quite a scare we are glad that you are both okay and

back with everyone tonight thank you I'm interested to know how something like this affects relationships in the house

Amanda since coming back have things been any different

yeah coming back in the house has definitely been different Allison and I have gotten a lot closer we've learned

about each other and I think everyone in the house has had an opportunity to sit down with each other and establish a

better relationship sounds like a big group hug it was a big group hug Sheila

you and Allison were great friends then a huge blow up how are things right now

between you and Allison I think they're fun I think that this is

a game and it was um very surprising to hear that there was some things said

behind my back it bothered me and I'm the type of person that just confronts

people right away and now I've learned that in this game you have to keep some

things to yourself well Sheila did Allison's emergency change your perspective in any way

her emergency did scare me um I thought because Alex had seen her

and said she looked really bad I wasn't sure if she was going to come back into the g*ng I I really wasn't I was I was very

afraid for her James yeah you didn't hesitate to jump right in there and help out Amanda what

was very well done very well done you're very calm yeah but what was going

through your mind at that moment I don't know I thought she was gonna die so it was really scary and I was gonna flip

her over and give her CPR and then she came too and then I just held her there while she shook in my hands and then went limp and then we finally got her

back up to normal so it was scary but you know I just wanted to sleep afterwards for a couple days I imagine

well you were the perfect example of when they say stay calm you were staying calm and focused so job well done on

your part thank you Alex I want to turn to you you and your partner Amanda have had your ups and downs how did it feel

to see your partner return it felt great you know it was shocking for everyone in this household besides

myself but you know people can look at it in different ways and that was going through my head but my first priority was her I wanted her back you know I got

to play this game as a couple not by myself so as soon as she came through those doors Smiles on my face and anything that she needed I'd always be

there for her on a much lighter note a lot

to live without base basic conveniences Matt what has life been like without

drinking cups and hot water life is miserable okay let me tell you how

people's personalities are when there's no hot water and we have to drink out of bowls like with dogs all right it's

pretty upsetting uh well how is your personality different what came out in you I'm I'm always I'm always miserable

as it is so like not much not much change but uh the hot water really affected

people like people are really moody and on edge in this house but yeah I know right as of right now we're handling and

uh I think we're gonna pull through you know Sheila I want to turn to you again and ask you just how's the slop diet

going Julie honestly um I've been on every diet there is and

the slop is definitely the best diet I've ever been on in my life I've lost five pounds all right okay clear for the

slop diet well really I thought it would taste like oatmeal and it's nothing like

oatmeal it's horrible we'll just leave it at that before you say what it tastes like thank you everyone and I'll be back

a little bit later coming up James and Chelsea come from very different worlds but have one of

the tightest Bonds in the house we'll find out why these two are such kindred spirits and later the live vote either

Alex and Amanda or Matt Natalie will be evicted from the Big Brother house let's go to the diary room to hear what Joshua

and Sharon have to say about the nominated couples one of the reasons why I think Matt and Natalie should go is

this because the fact that now that they've been on the blog they have gotten very scared they are starting to turn on us kind of and we never know

what they're going to do there are definitely some reasons why Amanda and Alex should go Amanda secretly hates me

I said some very hurtful things and I think she's just waiting for the right moment to uh basically evict me

travels the world on a bicycle Chelsea is from a small town in Iowa these two

are very different people but their friends tell us why they may be a perfect fit

bicycling around the world it's awesome it's better than anything in the world and I pull up this pamphlet that I give

to people it says James is currently bicycling around the world to promote a message of peace and prosperity peace

and prosperity oh that's fine bicycling I've currently ridden 7 000 miles I left La went up to Seattle from Seattle I

went to New York and from New York up down to Florida and you couldn't even pass through Iowa

[Applause] ER here at bar 107 and became kind of family

the first time I met him I thought the kid was completely off his nut he said he was crazy James and then I'm

like how'd you get that name and he said for starters I'm unemployed I'm bicycling around the world right now are

you like a triathlon no I'm biking around the world on a hundred dollars to show that we still care about each other to do what he's doing at 21 it's just

unbelievably inspiring to me my mom said if I was her first child she

never would have another one I was such a brat I was really involved in high school did like choir and ice

skating for like seven years what the new task force thing where you try to better the community science club ask me

why I joined let me guess cute cute boy [Music]

Chelsea is a very kind-hearted girl chores are hard on her sleeve but at the same time she knows when to get serious

James and I are a team we are a team We Are One James totally seems like somebody she'd

enjoy like hanging out with and because he's free spirited James is very honest he's probably one of the most open and

honest people I've ever met people to tell you that you're doing the right thing and like you're helping them out by doing it like dude you inspire me

like that's huge bro like someone's telling you that what you're doing is worth something I think James is a

really cool guy I think deep down they're both kind of caring compassionate people what are you gonna do if you want to buy I would donate to

like make a wish really I think Chelsea and James totally deserve to win this game they're playing

an awesome game they should win it if we win you should bike across the US

again and I'll follow you on my bike except mine I'll have a motor

[Music] James and Chelsea are this week's head of household couple let's check in with

them in the HOH bedroom hi James Hi Chelsea hello now just to

remind you guys the other house guests cannot hear anything you're saying so feel free to say whatever is on your

mind okay all right now James you promised Matt Natalie you would not nominate them for eviction this week

some people would like to know why even promise if you might change your mind

yeah why uh I didn't think I was gonna win HOH so I wanted to make sure that if he won HOH I wouldn't be up on the walk

but I pulled out I won HOH and I knew that him and Alex had a thing together that they were together and I knew if I

didn't put one up they would take each other off and they'd still be in the house but then you blindsided Matt and Natalie at nominations what was your

strategy in doing so um I didn't want to be vocal about it I didn't want them to have any chance to

do anything behind my back I just want to be up front and show that I was you know straight with it I even told him the speech that you know I broke my word

so I could do this Chelsea you sound like you have questions about this as well do you have any regrets on how this

whole thing went down um no regrets I'm not gonna regret things but I definitely after we said it

I was just like oh gosh what did we do and you know here we are thinking that we want to put them up so it it made it

harder hard for other house guests to be able to trust us now which kind of sucks but we're doing good

James yeah you've enjoyed the freedom of bicycling around the world all by yourself so what's it like being

confined in a house with so many other people I really hate a lot of these

people uh these are the type of people that I'm really against they're very materialistic they're here for prize money but the way they're going to use

it is just like oh they want a nice car they want houses and stuff like that but really I think they forgot about finding

themselves and I'm trying to break through these people and they just seem like they're they're very materialistic a lot of these people so what do you

want the money for then uh to inspire people to Bicycle around the world and I want to go back to LA and have fun with

some friends and then take off on the road I want to just keep moving Chelsea you're from a small town in Iowa why do

you think you've connected so well with someone who seems so different from you

um and now that I'm calling you materialistic

laid back open-minded you know we keep talking we like the dive bars that's totally me so I can see why James and I

are connecting because you know I can I can do that whole girly girl materialistic thing but really you know

I can sit back and have a beer with the guys well thank you both and head on back downstairs and rejoin the others

you're welcome when we come back the live voting begins how will the house

guests vote Nothing is for certain let's return to the dining room to hear what

Ryan and Allison think about tonight's nominees a reason we want to get Amanda and Alex out of the house is you know

they had it out for us since day one you know they put us up on the Block so I feel like we don't know them anything Matt and Natalie also never really did

anything for us they certainly didn't step up to the plate when we needed them I have little respect for them in that

regard and the way that they handled the game

so with each one of you I've definitely had my UPS and my downs and I'm sorry for things I've said and done that have

made any mistakes in this game uh to everyone in the household like I said at the first dinner table this is

family I feel I've become family with everyone here of course I do not want to go home

and I will respect everything that you guys do and if I'm on the outside I'll see you then but I truly love

everyone here and I hope my trueness and being real and keeping it real in this household will make you do that I thank

you Matt Natalie it's your turn well I just have to say that I am just

so thankful and blessed to even be put here in the house with every single one of you from the bottom of my heart big

brother did a great job picking this cast and uh I don't want to go back to

the beaver state yet dang it I don't want to go I want to stay and I love you all from the bottom of my heart I really

do so thank you if you do give me the chance to stay and play this game with you uh like I said to you all last night at

dinner I think each and every one of you is a beautiful person inside and out I I really have been joining enjoying

getting to know each and every one of you I know it's a wicked high decision to make and I hope you guys you know I

I do um in this game being true and being real people means nothing

um when people came to me and says I don't know why I didn't campaign we would have kept you I don't believe it

either way um this is a game where you have to be real and you have to be fake so you think

campaigning wasn't going to help you I don't think so people were saying how much hurt unfortunately she did but I

was sticking with her no matter what unfortunately I said what I said and it probably put me in this position here

today so it's a 50 50 deal between both of us yes in the beginning I felt she was the reason why I went up there but

it might be the reason why we're home well it wasn't me Amanda we all know and all the live internet viewers know you

are campaigning campaigning hard right we saw you working double time with that yeah it was but did you respect your

partner's decision not to campaign or was it no bueno

um I tried hard to get Alex to campaign because I thought that it would help us and then another note he thought he

shouldn't campaign to show people that he could stay true to his word so I thought people would respect that and

and keep us in this house because he stayed true to his word which obviously your word means nothing hmm let's talk

about romance because Alex initially you were very attracted to Amanda she's a beautiful woman and in recent days

things changed do you think emotions got in the way of playing this game

um no um after we had a little Misfortune uh thing that we had I told her through

thick and thin we're going to be here for each other so we got to stay focused in our game you know let motions get aside and keep us in the game but

unfortunately it wasn't emotions it could have been hugging us up and me keep taking us down so it's just an

unfortunate but I have life outside of this in the event that you two would be sitting here tonight your housemates
