It's day inside the "big brother" house,

And all week long the entire house

Has been pulling the wool over brent's eyes,

Convincing him that he is safe.

So, will brent find out the truth

In time to change his fate?

We'll all find out before the hour is up.

But, first, creating a blindside is easy.

Pulling it off is a whole other matter.

-Since my teammate is in power,

Xavier, I think it's only fair for me to keep

His nominations exactly the same.

He has a plan, and I trust his plan,

So I'm going to do whatever

I can to make sure it goes flawlessly.

Under the impression that he has the votes to stay.

But if you're going to go to w*r,

You kind of need an army.

And right now he ain't got a pawn,

Is very, very similar to my strategy from last week:

I don't know if I'm doing what's best

For my personal game anymore, or if I'm doing what's best

Before I even got to really compete,

I thought it was just the easy way of putting a target

On my back and trying to get me out as fast as possible.

So it was mind-boggling

To know that he was, right out the gate--

And he was willing to go against that to build bonds

With people that weren't even on his own team.

Everything at your disposal to try and get safety.

-So, the thing is I needed to the numbers.

I needed to know where people stood in the house.

As far as winning the veto, it would save me one more week,

But then I'd be gone the next week,

So, I thought--

My thought process is get the information,

The data, and use that

Because me taking myself off with the veto

Would've given me nothing besides one more week of safety.

I've already been targeted

By a lot of people in the house before,

So it wasn't going to change.

-Chen: when xavier pulled you aside

And said, "hey, listen. I'm going to put you up

On the block as a pawn." -Yes.

-Chen: your gut told you, "no.

I'm feeling like the target."

-Yes. -Chen: "my gut's never wrong."

Your gut was right initially,

But then afterwards, you told your housemates

"My gut is never wrong," and you felt safe.

To your gut now?

-So, the thing is, my gut felt safe as far as

The team aspects of the game.

You're taking away a crucial part--

If there was a physical comp,

I would be able to help grant you safety.

If you're willing to throw that away,

I mean, like I said, everyone's game play is different,

But, logically, you would want to try

To keep a piece that would grant you safety

Without you having to do anything.

If they're willing to throw away that, as far as

The team aspect is concerned, then, okay, it's on my team.

But everyone else was not really surprised.

And I had to try to make

Some type of reassurance, that, listen,

If this does happen, which I thought it was going to,

Hopefully I could have another alternative as assurance.

Um, kyland was part of derek x. And travis

Trying to plot against me in the first couple of days,

So it was-- I was working with what I had,

Not really what I wanted to work with.
