25x01 - Episode 1

Post by bunniefuu »

- Tonight, we celebrate the launch

of the th anniversary season of "Big Brother."

That's episodes filled with twists and turns,

outlandish competitions,

and unrelenting competitors.

And believe me when I say for this milestone season,

"Big Brother" is holding nothing back.

Welcome to the live season premiere of "Big Brother."

[dramatic music]

- It's a house like no other,

where cameras follow your every move,

and microphones capture your every word.

This is the Big Brother house.

And for seasons,

competitors have entered this house...

- Oh, my God.

- With one goal in mind...

- Floaters, you better grab a life vest.

- To be the last one standing.

- Oh, my God!

[laughter]

- Over the years, we've witnessed

sizzling showmances...

- Bayleigh is just, like, the dopest girl I've ever met.

- Want to make out?

[laughs]

- Will you marry me?

- Yes!

[all exclaiming]

- Outrageous escapades...

- I lost my dignity on a slippery wiener.

- Do you recognize my voice?

- [shrieking] - Ah!

- Ziggity, ziggity, zing!

- I'm trying to make as many zip line trips

as fast as possible.

- I got my huge head.

I got my big old chompers.

[roaring]

- Ah!

- Boom, power trip.

- Michael, you win the Golden Power of Veto!

- Over-the-top drama...

- Nice tone to it, isn't it?

- Bye-bye, b*tches.

- Oh, my God.

- The only thing honest about you

is the pimples on your chin.

- Frank, let me tell you.

- Let those horns come on out, Ian.

- Frank. Frank. - Let them come out.

- I could call you a coward,

a victim, a loser,

but you're a meatball.

- That's why I'm beast-mode cowboy.

They don't call me that for nothing.

- You fruit loop dingus busta fooligan.

- Your [...] has hit the fan, point blank, and the period.

- I'm honest about everything I've ever done, and you're not.

Manifest the truth, bro. - You're literally--

- And legendary game play.

[cheers and applause]

- Four down and five to go.

- I can't find an individual to hate 'cause I hate you all.

- I want to welcome you guys all to my Big Brother funeral.

- Congratulations, Andy.

You are the winner of "Big Brother."

- I'm not a parks and rec coordinator.

I've actually been a police officer...

- Yes! - For years.

- Friendship!

- Brothers and sisters, welcome to the Cookout.

[cheers and applause]

- Tonight, complete strangers

enter this house to try to make their own mark

on BB history.

Totally cut off from the outside world,

they compete for safety and power.

Each week, they'll vote to evict one of their own

until only one houseguest remains

to claim the $, grand prize.

What does the BB universe have in store?

Get ready for the most unpredictable season ever.

It all starts right now on "Big Brother" .

[suspenseful music]

- Good evening.

I'm Julie Chen Moonves.

Welcome to the live season premiere of "Big Brother" .

For years, we have all been flies on the walls

of the Big Brother house

as more than people from across the country

have competed in the ultimate social experiment

while navigating unimaginable twists and turns.

Now more will join their ranks in the battle

for the $, grand prize.

And tonight, in this historic -day season,

the Big Brother universe will be turned upside down

in what promises to be the most challenging one yet,

because what nobody knows is that just because

there are houseguests moving in

doesn't mean there won't be more.

But first, the season can't truly begin

until we meet the houseguests.

Here are the first eight.

[light music]

- Oh.

Oh, yeah, baby!

I'm going to "Big Brother"!

Yeah!

Let's go!

Whoo!

I got dadgum goosebumps.

Uhh!

Whoo!

- What? [laughs]

Dude, no way.

- Oh, my God!

Oh, my God, this is insane!

I'm going on "Big Brother"!

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

[rock music]

- My name is Blue, and I currently work

as a brand strategist here in the Big Apple.

Oh, game over. This one.

Growing up, especially in areas where not a lot of people

look like me, all I wanted to do was fit in,

but now I've gotten tattoos.

I just want to stand out and shine.

I'm very close to my family.

Both my parents immigrated from South Korea

to Riverside, California.

They wanted me to have a better, bigger life here.

When I win "Big Brother," I'm gonna take

my mom and my sister on a all-expense-paid trip

to Japan and retire my mom early.

So currently, my relationship status is single.

And I don't mind a showmance or two--

maybe even a love triangle to spice it up.

I think I relate to a lot of different people

in different ways, whether it's the meatheads,

the girly girls, or everyone in between.

I know I'll get along with them.

[speaking Japanese]

[upbeat music]

- Dang, it is coming down right here.

I call this a class-A frog strangler.

I'm Red, and I'm from

the Smoky Mountains of East Tennessee.

I'm fine as a frog hair split four ways on a Friday.

That's a Redism right there.

Or busier than a skeeter at a nudist colony.

Hanging in there like a hair in a biscuit.

I mean, I could just keep going for days.

[upbeat music]

Give me that.

Family is of the utmost importance to me.

Circus baby.

Winning "Big Brother" would change my life immensely,

just having that financial stability

for my family.

Yeah.

We got bears and turkeys.

The place for any country boy.

I think a lot of people have

a misconception of what a mountain feller is.

A feller driving a big truck, jamming Hank Williams.

But really, I'm what you call a chillbilly.

I'm like a cross between a hippie and a hillbilly.

I got my peppers.

A chillbilly is somebody that's a lot more accepting

of the people around him.

I've been in the military, and I've been everywhere,

and I've experienced all types of cultures,

all types of people,

people that I didn't even know existed.

And yet, I feel like going into the house,

that may put me at an advantage

and them in a disadvantage.

They're gonna underestimate me, plain and simple.

I'm on my way to Hollywood, baby.

[upbeat music]

- I'm Jared, and I'm an exterminator

from Norwalk, Connecticut.

Let's go, let's go. Chase the rebound.

Let's go. Work out.

In my free time, I love coaching basketball.

So now it's like a way for me to give back to the community.

Follow all the way through this time.

Let's go.

- What's up, buddy?

- [laughs]

My mom, Cirie Fields, played four times on "Survivor."

Best player to never win.

Essentially a legend.

- You always want to keep your doors open

for more alliances.

- Being raised by a single mom is tough.

My mom played the dad and the mom

essentially for me.

She has three kids that's living on one check,

but we did our best to, you know,

pick up where we could.

You gonna be able to hold it together

if you see me in a showmance?

- You got to do what you got to do.

[laughter]

- Staying out of a showmance

is not gonna be easy for me,

but I got to stay focused on the goal, right?

I don't think telling the other houseguests

about my mom is necessarily in my best interest.

If they know her history and what she's capable of,

coupling myself next to her is just gonna pretty much

ensure myself a one-way ticket out of the house.

- You are going on "Big Brother."

- Listen, Ma.

You wasn't able to do it. No worries.

That's what you got me for, your protégé.

I'm the fitter, more handsome version of yourself.

I'm bringing it home for us.

And I do feel like I owe you on a serious note.

That's number one, giving my mom some money, for sure.

- Let's go. - [laughs]

[upbeat music]

- Yo!

Let's go!

- [gasps]

Oh, my God!

[soft music]

I'm Mecole, and I'm a political consultant

from Washington, D.C.

I was years old when I graduated from high school.

By years old, I had my bachelor's degree.

And by , I was the youngest person

on Capitol Hill analyzing and drafting federal policy.

My biggest accomplishment to date

has been drafting six federal policies

that have been signed into law and ensuring that

million kids across this country

have access to healthy school meals.

I just got married about a month ago.

[laughs]

It's gonna be really tough

for me to be away from my husband.

We've never spent this much time apart,

but he's really excited for me to be taken on this journey.

- Love you. - Mm, love you.

[dog whines]

Let's go, babe.

I am a huge fan of "Big Brother."

I've been watching the show for years.

I feel like everything that I've done in my life

have led me up to this experience.

[dynamic music]

I am definitely not gonna be

the kind of player that lays low.

I came here to win $,,

and that takes some ba*ls.

I am so excited to play the game of "Big Brother."

[upbeat music]

- I'm Matt, and I'm a pro swimmer here

out in Louisiana, Baton Rouge.

Right now, I'm gonna train

for the Olympics coming up.

Go time, bro.

My idol is Ryan Lochte, and in ,

I was able to beat him in the hundred-meter backstroke.

That was definitely my favorite moment.

I think what's gonna really surprise people

is me being deaf.

I am a -time deaf Olympic gold medalist,

as well a five-time deaf world record holder.

I was born like this, and my parents actually

didn't find out until I was two years old.

They were wondering why I would just look at them

and not respond to them, not saying any words yet.

I took years of speech therapy

to learn how to talk.

I want to be a role model for the deaf community,

and I want them to be able to look up

and realize that anything's possible

if you set your mind to it.

Being deaf could be a big advantage on the show,

because I learned how to lip read.

I am--I'm definitely single.

I've been single for a while.

Bring on the showmance. I'm here for it.

I know that everyone's gonna think I'm just a dumb jock,

and they're not gonna understand

all the challenges I've had

and how competitive I'm gonna be.

And when things get hard, I ain't gonna quit,

no matter what.

- Oh!

That's my name.

Welcome to "Big Brother."

Let's go!

- [gasps]

Oh, my God!

Oh, my God! [laughing]

- Let's go!

[all cheering]

[upbeat music]

- I'm Izzy.

I'm a New Yorker, born and raised.

And I'm one of the best flute players in this city.

I got my master's degree in flute performance

from the Yale School of Music.

Being a professional flute player--

super competitive.

Lots of people play the flute out there.

But my man Cent

said in a rehearsal,

"Man, that flute has got groove."

Izzy.

Remember the name.

[upbeat music]

[both laughing]

Sorry, ladies, fully taken.

Ooh, she got them knots.

I live with my beautiful partner, Paige.

We've been together four years.

It took me a long time to figure out who I was,

but now I feel like I get queerer and stronger

and prouder every day.

And I can't wait to bring that energy

into the Big Brother house.

I'm gonna go win us some money.

Am I a fan of "Big Brother"?

Absolutely!

Who's not a fan of "Big Brother"?

I'm obsessed with Tiffany.

I also love Da'Vonne.

Kaycee, first l*sbian winner.

Well-deserved.

Hey, New York City,

Izzy's gonna be on "Big Brother"!

[upbeat music]

- I'm Jag.

I'm , and I'm from Omak, Washington.

[chanting]

My family was the first Sikh family in Omak, Washington.

Growing up and wearing a turban,

I definitely faced some challenges.

People didn't understand what my turban meant.

They often bullied me.

But once I've embraced myself, I've never looked back since.

- Last meal before slop. - Yeah.

- So... - [laughs]

- You're gonna miss that. - I know.

It's important for me to represent the Sikh community

on "Big Brother," because there's never been

a Sikh before on "Big Brother," period.

My goal is to make everyone think

I'm this loud, outgoing, airheaded guy.

But in college, I pursued three majors.

Does anyone else in the house have three majors?

I doubt it.

For $,,

I think I can throw my morals out the window

for a split second and stab someone in the back

if I need to.

If I come back week one,

kick me out of the house.

- You're not allowed.

[upbeat music]

- My name is Reilly.

I'm years old.

I am a bartender in Nashville, Tennessee.

Yeah.

A lot of people, they're like, "Wow,

I just didn't expect you to be funny,"

or, "I didn't expect you to dance like a robot

in the corner like that."

- Weird little arm thing, yeah. [laughter]

- And I can talk with my mouth closed.

- [laughs]

Being a girl who is always super outgoing,

I think a lot of people look at me and they think

it's been smooth sailing my whole life.

And you know, there's a lot of misconceptions about that.

I lost my dad when I was really young

on my th birthday.

He was really sick with a super rare cancer.

And it just made me realize life is so short.

So I think that has a lot to do with why I'm here,

and I want my dad to be proud of me.

Like, I want my dad to look down and be like,

"You go, girl."

I've been single for a while now.

I'm not looking, but if I happen to glance

at a tall, brunette, muscular man...

[laughs]

I would struggle to not glance at him.

Stay focused, Reilly.

Stay focused.

I am ready to wreak havoc when I have to,

play whatever kind of game I have to play

to beat out the rest of the houseguests

and get to the end.

I'm going to "Big Brother"!

[cheers and applause]

- I know.

- Bye, guys!

I'm going to "Big Brother"!

Whoo!

- I'ma come back $, richer for y'all.

- These houseguests don't stand a chance.

Let's go!

- Hello, houseguests.

- Hi. - Hi, Julie.

- How's everyone doing? - Good.

- So good. - Everyone excited?

- Oh, yeah. - We're ready.

- Anyone nervous?

- Absolutely. - I'm about to pass out.

- Well, there's no turning back, so settle in.

Who wants to know this season's twist?

- All of us. - Me.

- Yes. [laughter]

- Well, unfortunately, I cannot tell you anything

until the rest of your housemates are out here.

So I need you all to sit tight.

You've gotten to know the first eight houseguests.

I'll introduce you to the next eight when we return.

Plus, we'll blow the houseguests' minds

with the most unexpected twist in Big Brother history.

Stay with us.

[dramatic music]

[dramatic music]

- Welcome back to the live season premiere

of "Big Brother" .

Already tonight, you've met eight

of the houseguests who will be battling it out

for the $, grand prize.

So who will be joining them?

It's time to find out.

[light music]

- Guess what.

You're going to "Big Brother."

- Oh, my God!

- [laughing]

- Yo, whoa. What?

That's magic, baby.

Whoo!

[upbeat music]

My name is Luke, and I'm from Coral Springs, Florida.

Fitness is extremely important to me.

I try to stay fit by doing both weightlifting and yoga.

I've got to stay fit.

I've got to eat well.

I'm obsessed with it.

People assume I'm a big, dumb jock,

but I'm actually a nerd.

I'm a digital artist.

I've been an illustrator for, like, the past

eight years taking commissions.

People from all over the world.

I get people in Belgium, Saudi Arabia commission me.

Being an artist working through commission alone,

I'd say there's definitely no money,

which basically means I'm a starving artist.

I am an airhead. It's true.

But it allows people to underestimate me.

If a showmance happens, it happens.

I'm open to it, but I know strategically,

it's not the best move.

I know I'm gonna win "Big Brother"

'cause I've got the hunger to win at all costs.

"Big Brother."

Oh.

- My name is Felicia Cannon.

I sell real estate in Atlanta, Georgia.

I started selling real estate three years ago

at the ripe old age of .

And so I just believe that life just keeps

giving you more things to do.

[laughs]

I think that going in the house...

[laughter]

They may look at me as an older person.

So see, he was playing the first time.

But they don't know what they coming up on with Felicia.

I went into the Air Force at years old.

Even though I was small and tiny,

I had a big presence and a big voice.

And I was dangerous, and I was good.

I was like a John Wayne.

They used to call me Jane Wayne.

[laughs]

I got a bachelor's degree at .

I got a master's degree at .

Again, age is just a number.

Me and my husband have been watching "Big Brother"

since it started in .

We've become superfans.

Julie!

Here I come.

[laughs]

[upbeat music]

- I'm Hisam from Seattle,

and I'm a gerontologist and geriatric psychiatrist.

So I'm a doctor that basically specializes in older adults

medically and psychiatrically.

Hey, good to see you. - Good to see you.

- But at night...

I'm a cabaret and burlesque performer.

I fell into burlesque as a way

to get comfortable with my own body.

The person that I am today is a confident,

g*y, Arab, Muslim man

who basically is in love with life

and wanting to explore all of its possibilities.

- He didn't want to go to the Troubadour.

Men stripping, he wasn't into it.

- [laughs]

Going into the house,

I'm planning on being someone

who works as a certified nursing assistant

and also performs burlesque and cabaret at night.

If I tell people I'm a doctor, I'll be the first one to go.

I think it's about time that someone who's older

looks like a strong competitor is in the house.

[laughs]

- You're going to "Big Brother."

- No way. - Yes.

- [laughs] Whoo-hoo!

- My name is Cory, and I am a student

at Vanderbilt University

studying political science and communication,

the aspiration being law school, big-time lawyer.

I am a public speaking whiz.

I am a -time national champion,

and I have become known to be the best

persuasive speaker to have ever graced this nation.

[cheers and applause]

All "Big Brother" is

is the same question over and over again:

can you speak persuasively?

It's what I do, and it's what I'm most excited about

going into the house.

I'm a lot more physical than I look.

I was a first-degree black belt,

third in the state in forms,

second in the state in weapons.

Ultimately, I think I'm better suited

to the "Big Brother" competitions

than a lot of these '" power lifters.

Dude.

Why "Big Brother"?

Because I am a superfan of the show.

It is what I do.

I feel like lying is a necessary evil

in the Big Brother house.

At the end of the day, you're not gonna

get far in this game if you have

your moral codes up to here.

I've been a fan of this show for so long.

I am not gonna come in and just sit around.

"Big Brother"? Me?

I'm ready for the Big Brother house.

This is gonna be good.

[upbeat music]

- I'm Bowie Jane.

I'm from Los Angeles hailing all the way

from Melbourne, Australia.

By day, I'm a criminal trial attorney.

My specialty is money laundering and tax fraud.

So obviously, I have a pretty good BS meter.

And by night, I rip those clothes off...

and I'm a DJ.

I'm DJing to massive audiences.

I am absolutely able to keep up with the younger crowd.

I would say I go harder, actually.

I played tennis at a really high level.

I was th in Australia in the and unders

and then went on the professional circuit.

So I'm super competitive.

And that is absolutely gonna come in handy

in the Big Brother house.

[laughs]

- You're going to the Big Brother house!

- [laughs]

Yeah!

- I'm going to "Big Brother."

- I'm going to "Big Brother"!

Whoo!

[upbeat music]

I'm America.

I'm years old.

I am a receptionist

at a dermatologist's office.

My parents are Mexican immigrants.

I'm a first-generation American.

[all speaking Spanish]

- Go, America. Go, America.

- So growing up, my parents didn't know any English.

Spanish is my first language.

- Go. Good.

- I learned English from listening

to Shania Twain's cassette tapes

until I was able to enunciate the words correctly,

and I learned the whole album from memory.

We didn't have a lot growing up.

There was eight of us, and we shared one bathroom.

I saw my parents' financial struggles growing up,

and I really wanted to make them proud.

So I immersed myself in my education

and graduated from Brown University in

with a degree in biology.

I think just from first glance,

people might underestimate me

and just think that I'm a pretty face

with lashes and big hair.

But I'm a huge "Big Brother" superfan.

I've been watching this game since I was years old,

and being a first-generation American,

I had to learn at a very young age

to be resilient.

It's a cutthroat game.

You got to be ruthless going into the house.

And that's how I'm gonna win.

[upbeat country music]

- My name is Cameron Hardin, years old.

I'm a space cowboy, and I'm from Eastman, Georgia.

[zapping]

I call myself a space cowboy

'cause nothing else really fits.

I'm a hippie. I like tie dye.

I like riding horses, and I like things that go boom.

Growing up in the country, I started rodeoing

and riding horses when I was about years old.

I joined the United States Army Cavalry

when I was years old.

I went through combat.

I've been to Afghanistan.

I've been around the world.

I've had multiple life experiences.

You name it, I've probably been through it.

Excellent.

My hair's name is Bertha

'cause she's thicker than barbecue sauce.

You can't stop her.

She just likes to roar like a lion.

I think my hair is gonna help me in "Big Brother"

'cause I look like a goofy idiot

that just wants to have fun,

but deep down, I got a lot more.

Mm, I'm about tired of being out here in this heat.

How about you? - Mm-hmm.

- I am separated, but my wife and I,

our focal point is my daughter, Stevie Ray.

[vocalizing]

She's seven years old

and probably the only thing

that I've ever done correctly in life.

both: ♪ Crashing waves

- She's an incredible person.

When I win, it's gonna set up a whole new future

for myself and my daughter.

I have seen every single "Big Brother" episode

that there has been multiple times.

I have no problem stabbing someone in the back

or lying straight to their face.

It's part of the game.

When the money is on the line, I'm gonna toe it,

and we're gonna get nasty.

- I'm Kirsten.

I'm years old.

I'm a molecular biologist

and an active swimwear startup founder.

I'm originally from

the Caribbean island of Dominica,

but I'm now living in Houston, Texas.

I've always excelled at academics.

I went to college at

studying cell and molecular biology.

So I've done a lot of cancer research,

which caused the expansion of a major vaccine.

- Yes, girl.

- I'm the baddie with brains.

- Do you have a strategy?

- I think, like, my strategy is gonna be laying low.

I don't want anybody to know that

I'm more than a pretty face.

I'm super athletic, and I'm super adaptable.

I can pretty much chameleon my way into any situation.

And we're doing anything to win.

I'm a girl's girl.

I think, at the end of the day,

a woman's alliance is what "BB" needs.

I need a female final two.

- Cheers to more life.

- And less working.

And maybe a man.

$,

is definitely way more important

than a super-hot guy,

but if I can have both, I'll try.

- Bye.

all: Bye!

- Adios!

- Don't be doing no kind of crazy while I'm gone.

No new projects, Dwayne.

Holler!

- Love you so much.

Finally going to "Big Brother," baby.

Let's get it.

- Hello, houseguests.

all: Hi, Julie.

- Welcome to the th season of "Big Brother."

- Whoo! - Whoo-whoo!

- Whoo! - Pretty exciting.

Now, some of you have watched every season of this show,

while others weren't even born when the show began.

However, I do know that all of you are here

because each of you think you have what it takes.

You have what it takes to conquer

the mental, physical, and social challenge

that "Big Brother" is.

And if you plan on winning the $, grand prize,

you're gonna have to survive the Big Brother house

longer than anyone has in the history of this game,

a whopping days cut off from the outside world.

So who's ready to hear this season's big twist?

- Yes. - Yeah.

- Everyone is? - Come on.

- All right, well, I can tell you that

there was a break-in in the Big Brother house

just a few nights ago.

And the Big Brother universe that you think you know

has completely changed.

I'll give you all the details after we take a quick break.

[laughter]

When we return, three Big Brother legends

make an unexpected return

with game-changing consequences.

Stay with us.

[dramatic music]

[dramatic music]

- Welcome back to the live season premiere

of "Big Brother" .

All right, houseguests, now I promise,

you will all be moving into the house shortly

and the game will begin.

However, I first have to give you some very important,

if not some unsettling news.

As you know, our motto here is expect the unexpected.

Well, this season,

that saying could not be more true.

As I told you, just days ago in the early morning hours,

perpetrators broke into the Big Brother house.

Now, luckily, our cameras caught them in the act.

Take a look, because they may be familiar to you.

[suspenseful music]

- We did it. We did it.

We're in. We're in. We're in. No one's here.

No one's here. Come on, Danielle.

[both laughing]

- Frankie? - We're here.

- Frankie? Frankie.

- Oh, my God. [laughs] - It's so good.

- Yes, we did it. We did it.

- Go get the time laser. - Okay.

- Yes. - Go get that big boy, okay?

- Okay. I'll go get that big boy.

[laughs] Okay, here we go.

[laughing]

[clattering, crashing]

- Oh, my God. - Oh, my goodness.

- I thought I was the loud one.

Oh, my God.

- Okay. - The moment is finally here.

We're gonna activate the time laser.

- Yes.

- Go back in time to our seasons.

- Yes!

- Let's do it.

- It is time to rewrite history

and take back the victories

we so deserve.

Okay? - Amen.

- Bye-bye, Brigade.

[laughter]

- The Hitmen are toast. - Yes.

- Sorry, Derrick, but I'm gonna expose

your little undercover secret.

- Let's put some sugar in that bitter jury.

- And I will not be losing my dignity

on a slippery wiener this time.

- Initiate final check.

[dramatic music]

[beeping]

- It's ready.

- Let's do this.

- See you on the flip side.

all: Three, two, one.

[all screaming]

- It's working! It's working!

- Something's wrong!

- What's going on?

What have we done?

- This is not good.

- What the hell is going on?

I should have asked this earlier,

but where did we get this thing?

- I don't know.

- It says Meow Meow Enterprises.

- Oh, crap.

- Run!

Ladies first.

- Seriously?

- All right, as you just saw,

BB legends Britney, Danielle, and Frankie

broke into the Big Brother house

hoping to go back in time

and win their season of "Big Brother."

They activated the time laser.

Unfortunately, things went horribly wrong.

Their plan backfired,

and now the Big Brother multiverse has cracked open.

[laughter]

What this means for you is that not only have they

changed the house, but they have changed the game,

creating the most unpredictable season

of "Big Brother" ever.

Now, a lot still remains a mystery.

But here's what we do know.

Four universes have taken over the "Big Brother" game:

the BB Comic-verse,

the Humili-verse,

the Scary-verse,

and the Scramble-verse.

At any time this season,

these multiverses can twist up the game.

Take a moment and let that all sink in.

[laughter]

When we return, it's time to move the houseguests in,

where they will compete against one another

in the challenges created by the Big Brother multiverse.

Stay with us.

[dramatic music]

[dramatic music]

- Welcome back to the live season premiere

of "Big Brother" .

All right, houseguests, in just moments,

you will move into the Big Brother house

in groups of four.

Once inside, take a quick look around

and then head to the backyard.

There, you will find four competitions,

one from each of the four Big Brother universes--

the BB Comic-verse,

the Humili-verse, the Scary-verse,

and the Scramble-verse.

Each person in your move-in group

must claim a spot at a different competition.

Does everyone understand? all: Yes.

- All right, are you ready to play "Big Brother"?

- Let's go. all: Yes!

- Let's do it! - All right.

The first move-in group

is...

Felicia...

Hang on.

Just listen for your name, and then I'll direct you.

Okay, Felicia...

Red...

America...

and Matt.

You'll be choosing a spot

on the pink mats at each competition.

Best of luck.

The game awaits.

Go on into the house.

[indistinct chatter]

- Oh, my God. Oh, my God.

- All right. Finally here. - We did it.

- How are you doing, brother? - Nice to meet you.

- Matt? - Yeah, nice to meet you.

- America. - Felicia.

- Red. - America.

Nice to meet you.

[indistinct chatter]

- Wow, this place is insane.

- Oh, my God.

- All right.

We just got to do it? - I think so.

- Oh. All right.

[upbeat rock music]

- "Big Brother" always says, "Expect the unexpected."

Y'all don't even know what you getting

ready to get with Felicia.

I'm gonna be the unexpected.

- I'm excited to be on "Big Brother" .

I'm ready to take on the challenge

to prove to everyone that someone with a disability

can win the game.

- Lord have mercy.

I'm so excited, I got to keep my hands in my pockets

to keep from clapping.

- I am shaking. I'm literally shaking.

- You got it. [chuckles]

- Go.

- [exhales sharply]

- Okay, the next group is...

Cory...

Blue...

Jared...

and Izzy.

The four of you will be choosing

a spot on the green mats.

Have fun in there. The house is yours.

[light laughter]

- Thank you. - Thank you.

- Girls, let's get it. - Let's do it.

- Oh, my God! - Oh, my God.

- Oh, my God. - [laughs]

- Oh, it feels cool.

[indistinct chatter]

- Wow.

- Oh, and look at the plates.

- Love a good place setting.

[indistinct chatter]

- Hi, my name is Cory. - I'm Izzy.

- Hi, I'm Blue. So nice to meet you.

- I'm Jared. - Jared.

- Nice to meet you. - Izzy. Nice to meet you, too.

[indistinct chatter]

- Hi. Blue. - Blue.

- Izzy, nice to meet you. - Nice to meet you, too.

- Hi. Blue. So nice to meet you.

- Y'all ready? - All right, let's go.

- All right, so I think-- - I guess we go in there.

- Yeah, okay.

Okay, no one's in charge when we're doing...

- Yeah, good luck, everyone. - Good luck.

- Good luck, good luck, good luck.

- Whoo.

- I'm definitely gonna win this game.

I mean, just look at me--

' ", pounds of pure power.

Face, nine.

Body, six, but we're working towards a seven.

I've got everything I need.

- Hi, I'm Blue. Nice to meet you.

[indistinct chatter]

- Come on, we got to represent. - I'll do it.

I'll take it for the team. I'll take it.

[indistinct chatter]

Let's go.

Oh, yeah, baby.

What's your name? I'm Izzy.

Felicia, nice to meet you.

Hugs after we get through. - Yeah.

- I know, I know. I thought that, too.

I was like, yo, I'm pink. Right next to the pink.

- When I walk into a room, all eyes tend to go on me.

And I think people find me pretty disarming.

I think everyone's guards are gonna be down.

They're gonna tell me their secrets.

I'm gonna have all the information in the house,

and I'm gonna use it to my advantage.

- Next up, Kirsten...

Luke...

Bowie Jane...

and Jag.

Now, you four will be choosing a spot

on the yellow mats.

The four of you may now head on in.

- Yo.

- What?

- Oh, my God.

[laughter]

- This is crazy.

What's up? I'm Jag, by the way.

[excited chatter]

- Hi. - Nice to meet you.

- What was your name? - Bowie. Sorry.

- Bowie? I'm Jag.

- Hi. I'm Luke.

- Luke? - Yeah.

- You guys, this is crazy.

- Wait, I want a slice of that cake right now.

- [laughs]

[indistinct chatter]

- Is that the door? Is that the door?

- Oh, here. - Oh, my gosh.

[indistinct chatter]

- Yeah, yeah, yeah. - Wait. Is it that way?

[indistinct chatter, laughter]

- Do we?

- Oh. [indistinct chatter]

- Whoever said that. - Which one are you doing?

- Yellow.

- Which one are you?

- The secret I'm not gonna reveal to the house

is that I'm a lawyer, but it's also that I'm years old.

I'm gonna say I'm ,

and I've already memorized my fake birthday,

so I'm ready to go.

[indistinct chatter]

- But, you know, sometimes you got to go with what you got.

- [laughs] This is fire.

- Good luck. - Yeah.

- I'm sorry. [laughs]

[indistinct chatter, laughter]

- So I'm a secret genius.

None of these houseguests will see it coming.

And by the time they realize,

they'll only have Julie Chen Moonves

to discuss it with.

- And that leaves Hisam...

Mecole...

Cameron...

and Reilly.

The four of you will be each choosing

a spot on the blue mats.

I wish you all well.

The four of you now can go inside and join the others.

- Thank you, Julie. - Thank you.

- Thank you.

- Oh, my gosh.

[indistinct chatter]

- Oh, my gosh!

[squealing happily]

This is crazy! [laughter]

- Look at this!

[excited chatter, laughter]

- Oh, my gosh. - Look at this.

- Hey. - Hey, I'm Reilly.

Nice to meet you.

- Reilly, nice to meet you. both: Hisam.

- Mecole. Nice to meet you. - Mecole.

- Hi. Reilly. Nice to meet you. - Mecole. Nice to meet you.

- Oh, my God, this is amazing. both: Cameron.

all: Nice to meet you.

- Oh, my God, okay. - I can't believe it.

- This is real. - It's happening.

- Yeah. - It's happening.

Okay, we're blue. - Going...

- Let's see, let's see.

- I'm gonna play this game like a politician.

I'm gonna shake your hand.

I'm gonna kiss your baby. I'm gonna smile in your face.

And when you least expect it, I'm gonna stab you in the back

and take all your money.

- Don't do that. - That's what I'm going for.

[person laughs] - Whoo.

- Oh, It's my birthday!

Yay, I'm so excited!

And it's my first day in the Big Brother house.

This is actually the best birthday gift

anyone could ever receive

other than, of course, $,.

That would be nice, but... [chuckles] Yay!

- I'm sending you guys my love. [laughter]

- Houseguests...

it looks like everyone is in place.

I need everyone to please hang tight

'cause I'll be back in just a few minutes

to begin the first competition of the night.

- Whoo!

- So the houseguests are ready to compete.

[dramatic music]

Uh-oh, it looks like the Scramble-verse

is about to twist up premiere night.

What's in store for the houseguests?

Find out next. Stay with us.

[dramatic music]

- Welcome back to the live season premiere

of "Big Brother."

Tonight the Big Brother multiverse has cracked open

and is about to wreak havoc on the game,

and it starts with the night's first competition.

Let's head to the backyard and get things started.

Hello, houseguests.

- Hi, Julie. - Hi.

- All right, everyone, it is now time to begin

the first competition of the summer.

But before we can begin,

you need to know that the Scramble-verse

has just changed the game.

Normally on premiere night,

you're battling for safety,

hoping to become the first Head of Household

of the season.

But tonight the game has been scrambled,

and you are not competing to become HOH.

That's right, houseguests.

This is not

a Head of Household competition.

Instead, this is a...

nomination competition.

- What?

- The loser of each

of these four competitions

will be nominated for eviction

and could be the first to leave the Big Brother house.

That means, for the first time ever,

nominees will be named before a Head of Household

is even crowned.

Needless to say, there is a lot at stake tonight.

And it's time to begin.

We're starting with a competition

from the Scramble-verse.

America...

Jared...

Bowie Jane, and Mecole,

welcome to the Scramble-verse newsroom.

This competition is called "Puzzling Headlines,"

and here's how it works.

In the Scramble-verse, nothing is the same as in our world.

Case in point, the headlines you see behind you

are different than in our universe.

And these puzzles are already completed.

Your job is to disassemble your completed puzzle,

place the pieces back into their box it came in

so that they fit perfectly,

and then hit your button.

The last player to accomplish this task

will become the first nominee of the night.

Does everyone understand?

- Yes. - Yes.

- Yes. - Okay.

Then on your mark...

get set...

go!

[dramatic music]

Remember, you are attempting to put your puzzle pieces

back in the box it came from,

and it does so perfectly.

Remember, the key here is,

don't be last in this competition.

Otherwise, you will be nominated

for eviction tonight.

And America is first to complete her puzzle,

guaranteeing her safety tonight.

And Bowie Jane is the second to complete this puzzle,

guaranteeing her safety.

Now it's between Jared and Mecole.

- Aah! - Oh!

- And Mecole has done it, which means, I'm sorry, Jared,

but you are the first houseguest

nominated for eviction.

- Good job, guys. Amazing job.

- Up next, it's a competition from the Humili-verse,

where the houseguests

will have to kick some serious butt

if they want to avoid nomination.

And later, with the Big Brother multiverse in play,

what shocking events await the houseguests?

Stay with us.

[dramatic music]

- Welcome back to the live season premiere

of "Big Brother."

Just moments ago,

Jared lost the first competition of the summer

and automatically became a nominee for eviction.

So who will be joining him?

Let's return to the backyard and find out.

Hello, again, houseguests.

All right, we move from the Scramble-verse

to the Humili-verse.

Matt...

Blue...

Kirsten...

and Hisam...

this competition is called "Kicking Butt,"

and here's how it works.

On my go, you will move the lever in front of you

back and forth,

causing the giant boot to--you guessed it--

kick you in the butt.

Each time the boot hits its mark,

your counter will go up by one.

The goal is to kick yourself in the butt times.

The last houseguest to do so

will be nominated for eviction.

Everyone understand?

- Yes.

- Then on your mark...

get set...

kick!

[quirky music]

Again, the goal of this game

is to kick yourself in the butt times

and don't be the last one to do it,

because whoever is

will be nominated for eviction.

And Matt crosses the halfway mark,

and so does Hisam.

And now so does Blue.

And Matt is the first to kick himself in the butt times,

guaranteeing his safety tonight.

Congratulations, Matt.

And Hisam is second to finish.

Now it's between Blue and Kirsten.

- Keep going. Keep going.

- And Blue is closing in on the finish line.

Congratulations, Blue.

I am sorry, Kirsten.

You are now nominated for eviction.

Up next, the BB Comic-verse takes center stage,

and things could get messy.

And later, the BB multiverse has twisted up the game,

but the biggest surprise is yet to come tonight.

Stay with us.

[dramatic music]

- Welcome back to the live season premiere

of "Big Brother."

Jared and Kirsten

have already lost

their Big Brother multiverse competitions

and find themselves nominated for eviction.

So who will be joining them on the chopping block?

Let's return to the backyard and find out.

Hello, once again, houseguests.

This next competition is from the BB Comic-verse,

where Felicia...

Izzy...

Jag...

and Cameron...

will face supervillain Dr. Goo.

This competition is called "Goo-Pocalypse,"

and here's how it works.

Dr. Goo has been unleashing goo bombs

across the BB Comic-verse,

and now our world needs your help.

In front of you sits one

of Dr. Goo's notorious goo bombs.

There are also wires, each a different length.

Your job is to connect the wires

from the table to the goo b*mb.

However, there is only one solution

to make all the wires fit.

Once you think you have connected

all of the wires correctly,

race back to your detonator handle

and activate it.

If your goo b*mb explodes,

you have not only saved humanity,

but you will also be saving yourself

from nomination tonight.

If it doesn't detonate,

you must return and reconfigure your wires.

The one houseguest who does not detonate their goo b*mb

will be the third houseguest nominated for eviction.

As you can see, two of your wires

are already connected.

Your job-- connect the other four.

Does everyone understand?

Okay, then on your mark...

get set...

go.

[dramatic music]

And Jag is first to detonate their goo b*mb,

guaranteeing himself safety tonight.

And Izzy is number two.

And Cameron is number three,

which means, I'm sorry, Felicia,

but you are also nominated for eviction.

- Good job, guys. - Good job.

- Good job.

- So, Felicia, Jared, and Kirsten

are now all officially nominees.

That leaves one last competition

from the Scary-verse,

where the consequences of losing

are more frightening than any other competition tonight.

Stay with us.

- Welcome back to "Big Brother."

It's now time to find out

who will be joining Jared...

Kirsten...

and Felicia on the chopping block.

This competition is from the Scary-verse.

Let's return to the backyard

and determine our fourth nominee.

Hello, once again, houseguests.

It is time for the fourth and final competition

of the night.

Red, Cory,

Luke, and Reilly...

welcome to the Scary-verse.

This competition is called "Hold on Fright."

And I regret to inform you

that an army of monster hands

are attempting to drag you

into the Nether Region.

Now, this competition is a little different,

but it is incredibly simple.

All you have to do is hold on for dear life,

because whomever is dragged away first

will not only become the fourth nominee,

but they will also disappear...

into the Nether Region.

How long will they be gone?

Only the Scary-verse knows.

Does everyone understand?

- Yes, ma'am.

- Yes. - Let's do it.

- Okay, then get ready and hold on

because this competition starts...

now.

[suspenseful music]

[person coughs]

[cheers and applause]

- Good job, guys.

- Whatever you do, don't let go.

You do not want to be the first one

to be dragged away, because that will make you

the fourth nominee of the night,

and you will disappear for who knows how long

into the Nether Region.

- Good job, guys. [cheering]

- You got this.

[indistinct chatter]

- How you guys doing? 'Cause you're looking strong.

[cheers and applause] - Yeah, they are!

- It's like four statues.

- Yeah, you guys are doing great.

- Y'all got it.

- Fight it.

- A little longer. - Hold it.

- Use your thumbs. Use your thumbs.

- Whoo.

- You got it. You got it. - Grab back on. Grab on.

Hold tight, hold tight, hold tight.

- Yeah, there you go!

[cheers and applause]

- You guys are doing great. - Mental. It's mental.

- Yeah, you got it, brother. You got it.

Come on. Yeah, there you go. You got it, you got it.

[cheers and applause]

- You got it, miss girl!

[indistinct chatter]

- She's locked.

[indistinct chatter continues]

- Go, girl. - [laughs]

- This is one fierce group, I'll tell you.

- Come on, come on.

- Go, Red! - Yeah.

- Whoo-hoo. - Come on, you got it.

Dig deep, dig deep.

- The four of you make this look easy.

- Okay! - Good job, guys.

[person clapping hands] - Come on.

- Yeah, this is what season is gonna be about.

- Right. - Yeah!

- Yeah. [scattered applause]

- You got it, you got it.

You got it. - Don't let go.

all: Oh!

- And Cory has lost his grip. [screaming]

- I'm dead. [contestants shout]

- And Cory has disappeared into the Nether Region,

becoming the fourth nominee tonight.

When will he return

is anyone's guess, houseguests.

Houseguests, needless to say,

this has been a crazy night.

Unfortunately, for four of you,

your games are now on the line.

Jared, Kirsten, Felicia,

you are all nominated for eviction, and so is Cory,

who has just disappeared into the Nether Region.

I have some advice for all of you.

Houseguests,

I need you all to be prepared for anything,

because what the BB multiverse has in star--

has in store for you

is far from over.

- Whoo-whoo!

- Up next, the Scramble-verse isn't done yet.

Can the houseguests survive

the biggest surprise of the night?

Stay with us.

[dramatic music]

and make yourself at home.

Good night, houseguests. [all cheering]

- Let's go. - What are we doing?

From outside the Big Brother house,

I'm Julie Chen Moonves.

Love one another, and good night.

[indistinct chatter]
