- Along with a fake faction.

- The Legend is just a fake alliance

to placate Red, Cameron, and Bowie,

because I don't trust them

as far as I can throw any of them.

- Meanwhile, there were also close duos blooming:

the bromance of Red and Cameron...

- The showmance of Blue and Jared...

the legendary Pressure Cooker competition kicked off.

I'm, first off, excited for a safe week.

and do someone else's dirty work.

- Cameron wanted to go after his former allies.

- I used to be in the Handful with Jag and Blue,

but now Jag and Blue are just two very dangerous loose ends.

- But Red put Izzy on his radar too.

- Cam put Izzy on the back burner for now.

But if the Veto happens to get used,

I got a little plan ready to execute my back pocket.

I'm not surprised that Cameron put me up.

We haven't worked together since week one,

and right now, I'm a part

of the Seven Deadly Sins alliance...

And he's not a part of that.

So I'm gonna go out there, win the Veto,

and take myself off the block,

just like I did last week.

- We were about to kiss?

- Don't tempt me with a good time, Blue.

- Ooh! [laughs]

Cameron had the audacity to put bestie Jag and I

up on the block together.

And y'all know me.

I'm a spicy b*tch,

so I will not go down without a fight.

You're not getting rid of me that quickly.

- This is falling right into plan for me.

Thank God we created the fake Legend alliance

before Cam won HOH.

With the current nominations,

it seems like Cam is sticking true to the alliance.

But I just don't trust Cam,

so I still can't breathe easy this week.

[tense music]

- I know.

It's too early.

- That's the part that makes me upset.

Ugh.

Yeah.

That's the only part that's like, damn.

But like, best-case scenario

is you play, win, take me down.

Worst-case scenario, and I hate to say this,

but Jag wins.

because I want him to win.

I love Jag.

But the worst-case scenario

would be if Jag wins the Veto,

he comes down, and Cameron puts Jared up.

And then I would be on the block with my showmance.

So in a perfect world, Jared would win the Veto,

take me down, keep him safe,

and somehow we could figure out how to keep Jag in the house.

I know, girl.

With Blue on the block,

I just want to do whatever I can

to wrap my arms around her and protect her.

I really want to get picked for this Veto

so I can get out there and take her down.

And more than anything, I want to make a statement

towards Cameron just so he understands that

if he takes a shot at me or anybody that I'm close with,

I'm definitely gonna be returning fire.

- Oh, my God.

- I wish it was less obvious.

- At the end of the Pressure Cooker,

America and Cam struck a deal.

And America's deal was not just to protect her

for the entire week,

but to keep me from the block as well.

I love that deal.

She was there for me, and I really appreciate it.

She's also someone who's just really fun to hang out with.

So I think I'm gonna tell America a secret of mine.

I don't know if now's the time,

because it could be really useful to me,

because down the line, sharing that information

might ingratiate myself with the other houseguests,

which is exactly what I'm doing right here with America.

Cory has told me his big secret.

And it's nothing crazy, but I think I owe it to him

to tell him my big secret.

- What did you major in? - Biology.

It's not even a big deal.

Yeah. - That's so cool.

So you're the secret genius of the season?

I mean, yeah.

She is extremely intelligent.

This makes total sense.

I opened up to her,

and in return, she opened up to me.

That means this is somebody I can trust.

It's someone I want to go really deep in this game with.

- Right now, it feels like

a really solid-a*s group of people.

- It's a cool-a*s name.

- But we're gonna have to figure something out,

'cause we're gonna have to fight 'em eventually.

I don't know where the triangle falls,

but Cirie is Izzy's final two.

Or Felicia might be Cirie's, Cirie might be Felicia's.

'Cause if we take it down to "middle game,"

they're gonna pick us apart,

'cause they are true to each other.

We're just planning ahead.

- They're playing a whole game.

Even though I'm in an alliance with Cirie, Felicia, and Izzy,

it's been pretty clear since about day two,

day three that they're pretty tight.

They have a bond,

and they're not gonna turn on each other.

So Red and I both understand moving forward,

it wouldn't be very sharp of us

to not begin considering

how this is gonna affect us down the road.

- What are we gonna do if, you know,

one of them wins the Veto?

- I think Izzy has the opportunity to, number one,

win a couple things down the road.

Number two, she would do something reckless.

I'm gonna use her as a replacement nominee.

- I mean, I wouldn't be mad.

- She don't give a [...] about us.

You should have heard the inflection in her voice

when she come in to tell me that you won.

- Your boy did it.

- I'm gonna put this back on my bed.

I can't have somebody on my own damn team

not happy that someone from the team won.

- She's much more of a problem to me

than either of the two people sitting on the bench right now.

Legend has got Cirie as the president.

Felicia is the vice president.

Is the secretary of defense.

And she's the one that concerns me the most.

I mean, if Jag or Blue come off the block...

We might need to throw Izzy Bee up there

before she stings both of us.

- It's an option if something goes bad,

you know what I mean?

- And that would start a world of [...].

- I'm trying to throw out bait to Blue

to see what she catches on to and what I can trust her with.

We're getting closer and closer,

and as a human, it's hard for me

to keep this secret away from her.

Eventually, I know I definitely want to tell Blue the truth,

so my goal is to kind of give her a half truth

and really see what she does with that information.

Then maybe later on in this game,

I can actually reveal my true secret to her.

- Really?

- Maybe.

- That's the thing you were so nervous to tell me?

- Maybe.

- [sighs] - Maybe.

- I'm over it.

- Maybe.

- He told me a little secret, which was really exciting.

I'm starting to think that

someone here in particular

might be related to him this season.

My only two options are either Mama Cirie or Mama Felicia.

I'm leaning towards Mama Cirie,

because they are, state-wise, very close.

He's from Connecticut.

She's from Jersey.

He's mentioned that he has family in Jersey.

- My mom lives in Connecticut, and my dad lives

in Jersey City. - Okay.

- See, I can't be telling you certain things

'cause you might put the pieces to the puzzle together.

- He's mentioned that he's been around

this game show environment,

and she was on "Survivor" four times.

- My mom has a good idea of these shows.

- I don't know.

The puzzles--

the gears are kind of clicking

a little too well in place.

But this is "Big Brother,"

so expect the unexpected.

His secret is obviously safe with me.

Hmm, that's interesting.

- Yeah. So let's move on.

- [laughs] Shut up.

So what's your favorite color?

But I want to have this conversation with Matt

so that we're looking through the same lens.

I mean, if everything hits the fan in Legend ,

I want to know that I have a level of trust

established with Matt that we're gonna be side by side

moving through this thing.

Here's what I see.

There's eight people. - Eight, mm-hmm.

- That's gonna fall apart.

Maybe not today, maybe not next week.

There are specific--

about three people that are very tight.

- Yeah.

I believe there's a core alliance

to the Legend

between Cirie, Felicia, and Izzy.

If you can do math, I ain't there.

I am bubble wrap to be used at their disposal.

Whenever they decide that they are done with me,

they will squeeze out my last drop

and throw me in the trash.

So I'm gonna start making some preparations.

But if it were me, you, Red, Bowie, Cory...

- Cory, yeah.

- America... - Six.

- There's gonna be a chance

to take a shot at these people.

- Mm-hmm.

- I know you're not gonna tell anything.

- No, nothing, yeah.

- Yeah, and I won't tell.

- So you can't tell Felicia,

'cause she's gonna get worried.

- I want to let Cirie know

about Cameron pitching a new alliance to me,

because if this ever gets back to her,

I want her to know that she's the one

I really want to work with and really trust.

- The fact that Cameron's already making

additional alliances...

Just makes me even more sketchy

about Cameron, because that tells me

you don't believe in this Legend alliance

any more than I do.

I'm not % sure that

Cameron wouldn't try to backdoor me,

to backdoor Izzy, to backdoor Jared.

Who's to say what can happen?

which means there's some stuff going on.

So I'm trying to be Perry Mason in the house

'cause we got some "paraphilictics" missing.

Somebody know what happened to the condoms,

the "prophylictics."

- Mama Fe gonna get it done.

in the storage room.

everybody in the Big Brother house

is looking for some protection.

I would do everything in my power

to ensure he left those nominations the same.

and it is old.

So I know for a fact I do not belong here.

"Once the two artifacts are stacked,

"the red line must be flush with the pillar's surface.

"But here's the challenge.

"Some artifacts weigh more than others.

"So only the right combination of artifacts

"will correctly balance each pillar.

"Once you believe you have all the artifacts

"stacked on the pillar correctly, hit your button.

"If you are correct, beams of light

"will illuminate six distinct letters

"on the wall behind you.

"You must then use the letter tiles

"inside the treasure chest to unscramble the word

"and solve the riddle.

"Once you believe you have successfully

"solved the riddle, hit your button to lock in your time.

"If you're correct, the passageway for your escape

"If you're incorrect, try again.

I need to get my name off the block.

One of my besties is on the block right next to me.

And, girl, that is just bad news for me.

Even though Jared is fighting for me in this Veto comp,

I can't rely on him.

You already know your girl is gonna

go out there, try her hardest,

and win this Veto all by myself.

[bell dinging]

Oh! Ah!

That is so much heavier than I thought.

Okay, it's okay.

[dramatic music]

The first thing I want to do is grab all the artifacts

and move them closer to the pillar.

These?

All the artifacts are different weights,

so I need to use my little brain

and figure out which combination of them

perfectly balances each pillar.

♪

I find the perfect combination of the artifacts,

and mwah, the red line is perfectly flush.

♪

So I try a couple different combinations.

And girl, I felt like Goldilocks

trying to figure this out-- not too heavy, not too light,

just the perfect amount.

♪

Perfect.

The Veto artifact and the chalice

balance the podium perfectly.

This one is lighter.

I figured this one out pretty quickly.

It's the key and the green artifact.

I'm moving on to my last pillar.

♪

Balance, bro.

[bell dinging]

Yes! Yes!

So the lights illuminate the wall.

And of course, something bright, sparkly, and shiny

is obviously gonna catch my eyes.

And I start seeing some of the letters glow.

So now I know I need to run to the treasure chest,

unscramble the word, and solve this riddle.

"Ye who wields the Veto power is..."

What the hell is this word?

G-L is...

is golden!

It's "golden"!

Oh, my God, I knew it.

Duh!

Ye who wields the Veto's power

is golden.

♪

[bell dinging] Ahh!

Whoo!

I am thinking I slayed this competition

and I am getting that Golden Power of Veto.

Whoo!

I'm out of here!

Whoo!

- I don't really want to win this competition.

I got the Head of Household, and I got the Power of Veto?

That is way too much power for right now.

I need to lay low.

I don't want to be seen

as a competitive threat too early.

So the best possible outcome is if my man Red wins.

Now, I can't just throw the heck out of this.

If I make it too obvious that I'm throwing this thing,

that could be a lot worse.

[bell dinging]

The first thing I notice is that each of the red lines

on the pillars has a different thickness,

which tells me that it's gonna take

a particular type of weight

to get this thing flush with the base.

Okay, that's quite heavy.

Okay.

I put the first Veto artifact on top of the pillar

and then notice that it sinks down almost exactly halfway.

♪

So now I just throw up the other Veto artifact

on top of that one, and wouldn't you know it?

It worked out.

The next pillar I try, I just throw the key artifact

up there, and I notice that it goes down about /,

which means something lighter needs to be on top of this.

[snaps] the chalice.

♪

Yep.

♪

Who'd have thought?

The key to balancing

the last pillar is the key.

All the pillars are balanced. I turn around.

Let's see where these lights are shining.

Oh, I should probably hit the buzzer.

[bell dinging]

Oh.

♪

Now I just gotta unscramble these letters,

solve the riddle.

The riddle says,

"Ye who wields the Veto's power is..."

Golden. The hell...

I can kind of see pretty quickly,

uh, it's probably golden.

The Golden Power of Veto.

[buzzer blares] Ugh.

Oh, yeah. Probably should spell it right.

It would help if I spelled it correctly, though.

Spelling wasn't my strong suit. Sorry, Mom.

[bell dinging]

Let's go to town.

It is imperative that nominations stay the same.

Although I am not on the block, I know that both Jag and Blue

pose a huge threat to all of the alliances

that I'm in because they aren't in any of 'em.

[dramatic music]

I need to rework these configurations,

because something in the tombs ain't right.

As I'm placing these stone letters on the wall,

they keep falling off.

Stop falling. Stay.

I am going crazy.

I know that the word is golden.

I just need the letters to stay on the wall.

The stakes are super high.

I really want to save Blue.

She's a person that I really confide in in the house,

and I know that she would have the same energy for me

if the roles were reversed.

So I'm really trying to go out there and win this

so I can take her down.

[dramatic music]

Now that I know what each of these artifacts kind of weigh,

it's pretty easy for me to go ahead and see

which ones pair together on each podium.

So my goal is to just get them over there

as fast as possible.

If I fail at one, then I know exactly

how to switch it around.

This is where the ship is starting to sink for me.

I'm so focused on overthinking

about what this word could possibly be,

but I'm putting these letters into every single

combination that I can think of.

At this point, I don't even know

if some of these words that I'm putting together

are actual words.

All right, now I'm desperate,

and I'm just trying to figure it out.

I'm starting to realize that I actually

have to incorporate the riddle on the wall.

Suddenly it clicks in my head.

The word is golden.

- I may not be on the block this week,

so I've got to win this Golden Power of Veto

to make sure that the power stays

with the Chillers alliance.

I see the first pillar, and I realize

it's gonna take a lot of weight

to push this one down to the red line.

So I go for the one that looks the heaviest to me,

the green idol artifact.

I grab the Veto block.

This thing's heavy, made of concrete.

So I know I ain't gonna need much more to bottom it out.

Because I've already figured out how much they all weigh,

I know roughly what I need,

and it's just one after another till the end.

[dramatic music]

[bell dinging]

At this point, I'm in the zone.

I'm gonna go as fast as I can to get the best time possible

'cause I know without a doubt

Jag is gonna be right on my tail.

It's clear that him and Cam

see me as a threat in this game.

I really wish I didn't have to be

on the block next to Blue.

But now all I can do is fight for myself,

and that's exactly what I'm gonna do.

I'm gonna unleash The Turbinator.

with my closest ally, Jag.

So regardless of the situation, one of us is going home.

I will not be campaigning against him,

but don't get it twisted.

I will be fighting for my spot in this house.

I'd much rather keep us all together,

'cause I don't get to compete in the next HOH competition.

So I need somebody protecting me.

Hopefully, they know now,

since we kept everything the same,

that I'm a pretty solid person to have on your team.

- Cameron and Red probably think

that this move is going to keep them

in the good graces of Legend .

But if anyone that's close to me or myself wins HOH,

Cameron and Red will be in those two nomination seats

so fast, it'll make your head spin.
