It is time for the next Jingle Bell Brawl.
The winner of today's brawl will not only be safe
from elimination, but will have a massive decision to make
because late tonight,
we have the most unique Santa Showdown
of the holiday season.
And some of you might just beg to be sent there.
- Oh, my God.
- More on that later.
Santa has brought the homes of his magical gingerbread men
cookies into Santa's workshop.
These gingerbread men suffered a terrible mishap on their way
from warming themselves in the oven.
So Santa needs your help putting them back together.
On the Christmas bell-- [bell chiming]
You can begin stacking the pieces
of your cookie to get your gingerbread man
back up on his feet.
Pay close attention because, like a puzzle,
you must rebuild it exactly like the portrait
inside their house.
Unfortunately, the gingerbread men
are still very hot from the oven.
So you must use a special tool to handle them.
Taylor, since you won the Nice advantage,
you will get a two-minute head start.
- Whoo.
- Josh, since you were put on the Naughty list,
you have been given a disadvantage.
The answer portrait inside your house
will be covered for the first five minutes
of this challenge.

The first player to rebuild their gingerbread man cookie
correctly wins the Jingle Bell Brawl.

that if I just make one wrong move,
this whole thing is going to crumble.

- The mischievous Jack Frost
has been playing tricks in the Candy Cane Forest for years.
And he's up to no good once again.
He's taken Mrs. Claus's favorite ornament
and trapped it in a magical snow globe.
Santa needs you to maneuver the snow globe
and navigate the ornament through Jack's maniacal maze
and free it from his icy globe.
- Cool.
- You will have five and a half minutes to accomplish
this task or Jack Frost magic will
encase the ornament forever.
And be warned, every time someone new
is sent to free the ornament from the snow globe,
they will have one minute less than the player
who went before them.
- A minute less?
- This challenge is so crazy.
Whatever decision Nicole makes
is going to set off a chain reaction.
So I'm just hoping that she makes the right choice.
I guess everyone is vulnerable.
It's just making me really nervous.
- The first player that fails to complete this task
has lost Santa's Showdown
and will be eliminated.
- I'm not the girl known for winning competitions.
So I'm scared.
And hopefully no one picks me.
And if I don't get picked,
someone can get eliminated before me.
- So Nicole, I'll give you a few moments
to choose who will play first.
And remember, should they successfully complete
this challenge, they will have the power
to decide who plays next.
- I don't want to make an enemy if I don't have to.
The only people that wouldn't be upset with me
to sending them to Santa's Showdown
would be Britney or Frankie.
I'm looking at this wheel and I'm like, yeah,
there's no way I can send Britney into that.
But Frankie, he is so physical, he loves puzzles,
and he would have the most time to do it.
This has Frankie written all over it.
- OK, Nicole, who are you sending to Santa's Showdown?
- I am going to send Frankie into Santa's Showdown.
- I know what it's like to fight for my life
in Santa's Showdown.
And it is hard.
I am so nervous that I could send myself home
that I'm about to toss all my Santa cookies.

- Nonplayers, whenever you hear Santa's sleigh bells inside,
you'll know the task has been completed in time,
meaning someone new will be forced to compete.
But if you hear Jack Frost's evil laugh--
[evil laughter]
You'll know that player has been eliminated
and the showdown is over.

I'm starting to panic a little bit.
This could go very, very badly.
But now, it's time to prove myself.

- All right, Frankie, you have five and a half minutes.
Start your timer.
Run onto the snow globe, maneuver the ornament
through the maze, out of the red circle,
grab it, and then stop your timer.
- [exhales sharply]
[exciting music]
- This Santa Showdown is do or die for me.
I need to move on the hamster wheel
in order to get the ornament to drop out of the maze.
If I can complete this task in five and a half minutes,
I get to decide who goes in next.
And if I don't complete this task, I am going home.

At this time, I just don't know if I can get past this.
And I'm going to be honest with you.

- Yeah.
- Right.
- But it depends how fast he does it.
- That's the thing.

So initially, I thought this would be
really easy to see the path the ornament needs to take.

But when you're inside that hamster wheel,
the puzzle is so close to you,
it's kind of impossible to figure out which direction
you're supposed to move.
So I'm getting a little panicked
and a little flustered because the ornament
keeps hitting dead ends.
And I'm not sure which way I'm supposed to go.

I don't want to do this.
Like, if you get called in and do it
and you win, please, Josh, please.
- I don't want to go in either.

It would be a death sentence for me.

So Frankie manages to complete this challenge,
but not a single soul in Santa's Lodge
wants to go next.
I would never think that a hamster wheel
would have me so shook.
But you bet that I'm going to do whatever it takes
to not go out there.

For my game, it makes more sense to have Xavier
either out or as an ally.
If he comes back, then he's my ally
because I gave him the second best chance to survive.
If he goes home, then I've eliminated a huge competition
threat in this game.
Either way, good for me.

Are you secretly trying to get me out?
Or are you actually trying to help me
by giving me more time.
If you're trying to help me, cool.
But if you're trying to get me out,
this is the second time you've done it.

and I feel conflicted.
The only benefit with me going now is that I have more time.
But this definitely looks like
it will be a difficult challenge.
I'm hoping I can just kind of talk myself through it
and hopefully survive another round of Santa's Showdown.
I want to make it to the Reindeer Games.
I want to put myself in a position to win $k.
Either I win or I go home.

I'm noticing that once you get rolling,
the ornament rolls fast.
And I didn't expect it to roll that fast.
I'm learning that maybe slow and steady

So I adjust my strategy.
I start to move a little slower with the ornament
to get it to where I need it to be.

I can see where the ornament needs to go.
I wish I could just take a finger and just move it.
But with this wheel, it makes it a lot more complicated.
So I just have to really lock in
and understand the directions
associated with the wheel

This is going to be really tough, but just do your best.

I feel just completely doomed.
I'm looking at this structure.
It looks like it's going to be incredibly difficult
to maneuver because I'm pretty small,
the snow globe is enormous,
and I know that I have even less time
to complete the maze.
[suspenseful music]

I didn't expect how difficult this would be
when the maze is constantly flipping, turning,
and in motion.
- [crying]

I think she might be fine.

She's not in the right headspace.
- Maybe the fire in her will get her through it.
So let's just hope.

but I kind of got this ornament going where I need it to go.

But then I looked at that clock.
