being on that trip,

And I would do it all over again
if I had to to be with him.

a friend or a family member,
"why did you have to go
to 'x' country to find somebody?

find somebody here?"

I went to Jamaica on a vacation,
so it really wasn't like I was
going there looking for a fiancé
or looking for someone
to spend my life with.
But when I seen devar
coming out of the water
and, you know, truth be told,
I was looking for someone
to run with the next morning
'cause I was training
for a marathon,
she says, "delicious."
I say he's beautiful.
He was absolutely stunning
to me.
Did I know that day
that I was gonna marry him?
Maybe not that day,
but shortly...
very shortly thereafter, I knew
we were gonna get married.
The six of you,
who we mentioned,
left everything behind.
You left your friends,
your families,
your jobs to be with someone.
Is anybody surprised at how
homesick they feel sometimes?
Three times a day
for about an hour.
And we Skype her parents.

And she's not... I don't know
why she's not saying it now,
but she misses her cat a lot.
I have to watch so many videos
on cats and pictures of cats
and I have to Skype
with the cat.
We have to say hello to the cat.
And we have to buy gifts
for the cat.

I'm allergic to cats.
Somebody wanted
to give us a dog,
but trust me, cats are
a big topic in the house.
It sounds like they are.

world to be with your fiancé,

The other part of that is I was
not looking for a father figure.
More devar has to know
the part of a father figure.
I couldn't ask for a better life
right now for the three of us.

But I guess I have enough charm
that I've done well

We did see her birthday.

I have very thick skin,
and these people are judgmental
and condescending.

will comment on it

All the burden's on you

I was traveling back and forth
to visit him every six weeks.

and for my son

because the money

going back and forth to Jamaica,
I'm spending on us living.
But your sister was really

Bev is a very serious person.
In all the conversations

Now, to this day,
after the wedding,
they are very,
very good friends.
She does trust him.

And my father said that to mark
because, like, I'm the only
daughter in our family,
and for my father
to give their daughter away...

It was very emotional time
for the family,
and we've since
come to an understanding
between her parents and I.
They're very much on board
and support our relationship.
