previously on
"90 day fiancé"...
whew!
this is a disaster.
i’m ready to go home.
so, how have things
been with syngin?
it’s been up and down.
a couple of weeks ago,
we had a reading.
she was like, "is this like
a soulmate relationship?"
and syngin was like,
"yeah."
i’m like, "i’ve never thought
of you as a soulmate."
i was just wondering
if you have any prenups.
no prenup.
it doesn’t make sense.
it’s stupid.
so, jasmin,
what are your plans
after the wedding
work-wise?
i can do shows and media
every now and then,
but i don’t want
to go 9:00 to 5:00.
i just want to focus
on my inner peace,
and he’s fine
with that.
i mean, if they’re
throwing around words like
"classified," there’s
probably something
pretty serious
out there.
the boys were pretty upset
when mursel left,
so i’m going to let them
know what’s going on.
i’ve got something important
to tell you.
mursel’s coming.
why don’t i write
you a check
and buy you a plane ticket
back to the dominican republic?
i didn’t bring you here,
but i can send you there.

anna: it’s been
an intense 90 days.
we had to overcome
a lot of obstacles.
and today’s the big day.
mursel and i
are getting married.
all right, let’s go, guys.
but first, we had to pick him up
from the airport.
ding, ding, ding.
gino and leo
are coming with me.
my oldest son, joey, isn’t going
to go to the wedding,
so he’s with my mom.
but joey could still change his
mind and come to the wedding.
i’m hoping he will.
are you guys
ready for this?
how close
are we from it?
like a 30-minute drive.
we’re on day 90
of the 90 days,
and when mursel
lands in omaha,
we’ll only have six hours
left on this visa.
i’m praying
that nothing happens
because there’s no room
for error today.
okay, i’m making a phone call.
you guys got to be quiet.
shh! shh! shh!
shh! shh! shh! shh!
hi, carol. this is anna.
i was just calling
to confirm everything.
i think about 8:00
is when we’ll have the ceremony.
is that okay with you?
i’m sorry.
he’s just getting in,
and then we’ll have to
get dressed and all that, so...
okay.
okay. i really appreciate it.
thank you so much.
oh, my god,
we got so much to do.
the clock’s ticking.
a flight could be delayed,
he could be held up in customs.
if anything goes wrong,
we’re in danger of missing
the visa deadline and mursel
will have to go back to turkey.
i’m going to freak out if he’s
not on the freakin’ plane.
that would be
a huge disappointment.
okay.
leo, wait for us, dude.
we got to look for chicago.
oh, chicago midway?
yeah, it’s right there.
it says it arrived.
all right, okay,
we got to be careful.
walk her --
hold her hand.
here.
here,
come on over here.
oh, okay.
waiting for
mursel to get here,
i’m excited, i’m nervous,
i’m worried.
i’ve got all these emotions
running through me,
and i can’t believe that
we’ve got this second chance.
and i’m just --
inside, i’m freaking out.
leo, look, leo, look.
mursel!
i’m excited for them
to get married
because my mom’s always sad
whenever she’s --
i’m excited
to get cake.
shh.
my mom’s always sad whenever
mursel’s, like, not here,
and then now mursel’s
going to be here every day.
anna: boys, we’re not done.
we got to get mursel’s bags.
oh, yeah.
leo, come on.
oh, here.
mursel, it’s coming.
i’m so excited that
mursel landed
and got here without any issues,
but now we got to get home.
leo, come on.
and we’ve only got
a couple of hours left
before the visa expires,
so i’m really flustered.
we’ve got a lot to do.
we have a couple weeks
left before the wedding,
and i’ve been very stressed out
and sad and depressed.
i was completely,
utterly destroyed by that
when i heard that.
i don’t think i have
that full soulmate feeling.
hey, babe.
i wish we had more time,
but time’s ticking.
so i would really, you know,
like to talk to tania.
how are you?
um...
just feeling super low
and confused.
and i feel like --
almost like i came out here,
and i don’t even know
what i’m doing here right now.
hmm.
yeah.
babe, i’m sorry.
i...
i know.
i just feel hurt.
i feel hurt.
i felt like i was holding
on to something
that i wasn’t fully
sharing with you.
and that’s why
i kind of just...
it, like, felt good
to finally let you know.
like, how would you feel
if you heard
those exact words
come out of my mouth?
you think you would
just be fine about it?
no, that’s why
i’m not mad that you’re upset
or anything, and that’s
why i never really wanted
to have that conversation
because it’s like
i feel like i don’t even
fully understand
or know
what soulmates are.
like, do people only
have one soulmate?
do people have
multiple soulmates? like...
i don’t know.
i just view...
maybe i view it too strongly,
but i always view like
when soulmates meet,
it’s like your soulmate.
like you said, "our souls
are meant to be together"
and things like that.
that’s things we have
literally said before.
that’s what
kind of gets me going
through the tough times,
when we’re arguing,
i’m like, "hey, i believe
we’re meant to be.
like, we’re soulmates
so we’ve got to work
through this"
i’m just worried.
yeah.
even if we get married now,
it’s like, are we
compatible, you know?
of course this hurt him,
this was a shock.
so i need to give him time
to heal and things.
but i’m so sure in our love
and in our relationship,
and our future that i don’t
want there to be, like,
questions that there just
shouldn’t be questions about.
it’s like maybe
i’m crazy for being like,
"he’s not my soulmate
or not even."
i don’t think
that you’re not.
but i know our souls --
like, we’re meant
to, like, find each
other somehow, come on.
i found you literally
in a bar across the ocean.
and i remember standing
outside that bar.
like, i was at a bar
across the street
and looking at your bar
and being like,
"yo, i need to
get in this bar."
i got turned down the first
time, and what did i do?
i went back,
and i was like,
"no, i need to come
inside this bar."
i didn’t know who or what was
in there waiting for me.
and i know it hurt, baby.
i know it really hurt.
but, like, you have to know
that fact has never
changed how i felt about you
or how much i love you
or how much
i want a future with you,
how much i want to
have kids with you,
how much i want to
just explore life.
like, that fact
has never changed anything
about our relationship.
so do you still want
to marry me?
i still
want to marry you.
good.
but we’re going to get married
literally to just keep on
living together and keep on
working through this.
we have a long
path to walk.
yeah, hopefully with none
of those surprises anymore.
i don’t have any other
soulmates
in my back pocket.
too soon?
i’m sorry.
i feel good.
i feel good after
talking with
syngin today.
we have a lot of things to work
on before we get married,
and is that okay
to get married on
when we have so much
to work on?
but as long as you’re actively
working on it, it’s okay.
i love you.
i love you,
too, baby.
jasmin: i’ve never been
to any weddings.
i only see weddings in movies,
so it’s interesting.
as long as she doesn’t run
the other way
at top speed,
you’re all right.
i don’t think so.
i think she’ll be good.
oh, bryson, you look cute.
come here. do a spin.
it’s my wedding.
i’m excited, and i’m scared
at the same time.
yo, cuzzo.
it’s the big day.
it’s the wedding day.
i’m feeling excited.
i mean, i feel like we both
are really excited,
but like i said,
i’m not, like, a wedding person.
i don’t know much
about weddings.
i’ve never been
to any weddings either.
i’ve only seen weddings
in movies, so it’s interesting.
when i first met jasmin online,
i had no idea, you know,
that she was even real
in the first place.
i did not think that
we’d be getting married,
but, you know, we are,
and it’s great.
it feels good.
hey.
hey.
you see?
oh, that’s pretty.
what is that for?
for you to hold?
that big one?
yep, you’re going to
hold it like this.
no, i’m not.
yeah, like...
i got to cut them
for you.
never made a bouquet before.
going to get all the thorns out
and try to make it smooth
so she can carry them.
yeah, i just want everything
to be perfect.
i think i got
the hang of it now.
ow!
can’t have, you know,
the big dream wedding that
i really want,
so i’m just going to do
what i actually can afford.
i think i did pretty good.
jasmin: what i’m wearing
today, it’s not like
a traditional big wedding dress.
it’s more like
a c*ck small dress.
i ordered that dress
online in finland,
and i brought it myself.
i didn’t get a big wedding dress
or anything like that
because i thought we were
just going to have,
like, a courthouse.
i didn’t know we were going
to have in a park wedding
so i wasn’t prepared
for like big wedding.
you look
very, very wonderful.
we all good?
yep, ready to go.
ready. good.
so in traditional weddings,
i’m not supposed to
see you, but i’m sure
we’ll be fine.
yeah.
my ideal wedding
would just be me and blake
and our parents
and small ceremony
and not too many people
around or just elope
and just be us two,
small and intimate.
my ideal
one with me, you know,
i would want everybody
that’s close to me to be there,
but i understand, you know,
we have 90 days,
and it’s kind of short,
so we kind of have to
compromise somewhere
in the middle.
it smells good.
yeah.
-does it look good?
-yeah.
the wedding,
we’re going to have it at
warner center park.
it means a lot to me
because i grew up, like,
right there, so there’s a lot of
memories at that place.
then some of my family
and loved ones are there.
it means a lot to me.
-what’s going on?
-what’s up, buddy?
thank you guys for coming.
thank you.
-hey.
-how are you?
thank you guys
for coming.
you look beautiful.
thank you.
mm!
you look beautiful.
thank you. you too.
i’m good. how are you?
good to see you.
hi.
let’s do this.
joey: i’m happy that we’re
all here today to celebrate
blake and jasmin, and there’s
a couple of concerns that i had,
but we’ll see
what the future holds.
just got to support him,
you know?
got to support him.
yeah.
so, ready for it?
let’s do it. i’m ready.
okay.
let’s go.
kerline: my wish is for my son
to really be happy.
he has been hurt before,
but jasmin made it clear to me
that she does not want to work,
and i still have a problem
with that because marriage
is not easy at all.
it takes teamwork.
as long as she doesn’t run
the other way
at top speed,
you’re all right.
i don’t know
if that’s happening.
i don’t think so.
we should be good.
blake: you know,
the 90 day process was rough
in the beginning,
and at certain points
i didn’t know if we were
going to make it,
come out the other end,
but we did.
you know, it’s happening.
it’s real.
thank you.
dearly beloved friends
and family, good afternoon.
on behalf of blake and jasmin,
i’d like to thank you
and welcome all of you
for being here.
by your presence,
you celebrate with them the love
that they have discovered
in each other
and you support their decision
to commit themselves
to one another
for the rest of their lives.
and it is into this union
that jasmin and blake
come now to be joined.
blake, repeat after me.
i, blake, take you, jasmin,
to be my wife.
i, blake, take you, jasmin,
to be my wife.
i will share
my life with yours.
i will share
my life with yours.
and build
our dreams together.
and build
our dreams together.
i will support you through
times of trouble.
i will support you through
times of trouble.
and rejoice with you
in times of happiness.
and rejoice with you
in times of happiness.
jasmin, please repeat
after me.
i, jasmin, take you,
blake, to be my husband.
i, jasmin, take blake
to be my husband.
i will share
my life with yours.
i will share
my life with yours.
build our dreams
together.
build our
dreams together.
support you through times
of trouble.
support you
times of trouble.
and rejoice with you
in happiness.
and rejoice with you
in happiness.
blake, place the ring
on jasmin’s finger
and repeat after me.
i give you this ring.
i give you this ring.
as this ring has no end.
as this ring has no end.
my love is also forever.
my love
is also forever.
jasmin, place this ring
on blake’s finger
and please repeat after me.
i give you this ring.
i give you this ring.
as this ring has no end.
as this ring has no end.
my love is also forever.
my love is also forever.
and so now by the power
vested in me
by the state of california,
it is my honor and delight
to declare you husband and wife.
you may kiss the bride.
you walking?
-way to go, blake
-congratulations.
there we go!
was he crying?
oh, i didn’t know
that he was crying.
oh, okay.
well, he was crying.
good, that was good.
i wanted that.
that’s when everything
hit me, you know?
wasn’t so bad, was it?
no.
that was easy, right?
yeah, i was struggling
with my words.
it was great.
i loved it.
yeah.
i’ve definitely had some doubts.
a lot of doubts,
actually, you know?
and up until the last minute,
i was like,
"i need to see it
to believe it for myself."
you know, just a real
connection between them.
and i think i noticed that.
i saw that today.
you know, they shared a moment,
and it was nice to witness
that at the ceremony.
look at damien
on the red phone.
-what?
-okay, now look at ashley
with that phone.
oh, my goodness,
blake!
the 90 days went fast,
really fast.
i feel like i just got here
two weeks ago.
and i’m happy.
yeah, i think it’s because
everybody’s here
and they see the love.
you know?
it’s really good.
perfect.
my dress.
oh, my god.
it’s so nice.
oh, i need
something with you.
you’re over here in america
to get a green card
so that you can have
a better life.
how many more days
until you leave?
why would you
even do that?
i’ve got problems
with you already.
robert: today is my big day.
it’s my wedding.
i’m excited, and i’m scared
at the same time.
how you feeling today?
i’m happy. i’m just not
"whoo" happy.
i’ve been in previous
relationships in the past.
i have five children
by four different women,
but i’ve never been married.
i’m a firm believer
of you’re married together,
you stay together.
no divorce.
i’m still a little concerned
about getting married to a woman
that i only
physically met for one day
before coming to america.
to be honest,
i’m still nervous, very nervous.
oh, bryson, you look cute.
come here, do a spin.
seeing bryson in his little suit
look so cute,
looks like a little
mini version of me.
you look nice.
give me a high-five.
i got ready.
then we leave
to the wedding chapel.
tight-a*s pants, yo.
what? that’s why i didn’t
want to do it.
with your
patrick swayze pants, now.
no.
thank y’all
for being here.
absolutely.
what time is it?
well, we ain’t going to
get -- it’s 6:00 now.
it’s 6:00.
robert: i never thought
that this day would come.
now the reality
is really hitting me.
i think it’s that lotion
i got on my hands.
i think it was --
yo, real talk. if i said to you,
"let’s drive off,
let’s go to, um..."
all these thoughts is
racing through my mind
that i am going to be
bonded with anny for life.
in my mind, i’m like,
"it’s not too late."
i don’t know.
mike: i want to talk to natalie.
i’m just looking for some type
of closure, answer, something.
i don’t know.
mike: i’ve been back
in the states for a week now.
just trying to
knock out.
you know, just trying
to keep busy right now.
but, you know, any hardship
of a relationship,
you’ve got feelings.
you got a lot invested,
you put a lot of emotions.
and, yeah, i mean,
it’s just -- it’s hard.
this is the longest we’ve gone
without talking to each other.
i’m just looking for
some type of closure,
answer, something, reasoning.
i don’t know.
-hi.
-hey.
your mom’s okay?
what have you been
doing this last week?
sure.
no.
you know, we just
didn’t leave on good terms
when i left you,
so, i don’t know.
i’ve just been
thinking about that a lot.
yeah, there’s a lot to talk
about it, don’t you think?
you don’t think nothing
about it?
i’m trying to talk to you
about it.
well, yeah.
i don’t know.
i’ve had a real tough week
since i’ve been back, so...
do you love me or what?
i’m asking you,
do you love me?
i’ve always
loved you, natalie.
but right now, i don’t know.
kind of cut me deep.
you were there. what do you mean
what did you do?
and other things.
you don’t remember doing
all the other things?
mm-hmm.
mm-hmm.
how did i cut you?
i think i am beyond
responsible right now,
and i need you
to be more serious.
so do i. so do i.
mm-hmm.
we have disagreements,
you’re absolutely right.
perfect. okay. all right.
i don’t know what’s honestly
going through her head,
you know?
i’m going to talk
to you later then, okay?
because i mean, this is not
working out right now.
all right. bye.
it’s very important for
the legitimacy of your wedding
i don’t have no friends
that’s going to want
to pay this expensive trip.
i know there was
some talk about getting
a prenuptial agreement.
decided not to do it.
i have to protect max
and cece’s future.
why did you decide
not to get one?
angela: this is more like
downtown or something.
oh, god. i don’t
like this already.
i don’t like this
already.
the other night,
we had dinner
with michael’s family
and his mom,
and they want us to get
married here in nigeria.
you know, they didn’t say
everything i wanted to hear,
but i opened my mind to
listening instead of talking.
we’re here.
so today, michael’s taking me
to the marriage registry
so i can find out
a little more about
getting married in nigeria.
thank you.
am i 100% sold on it?
no.
but i did agree to come,
so let’s see what
this registrar has to say.
angela.
this is my third trip.
yes, sir.
i’m nervous.
this is not getting
married today, is it?
can i ask you this.
getting married with
the spousal visa,
is that a better chance
to get him with me,
where he belongs,
in the united states?
honestly, i’ve had my mind set
on getting married
in the united states.
but coming here just right now,
talking to you,
you’ve told me what i needed
to hear from you as an official,
you know?
hearing the registry say
that getting married in nigeria
is the best route for
michael and i to be together,
it’s not what i want,
but time is not on our side
right now
with this k-1 visa denial.
let’s go ahead and sign
this registry.
thank you, baby.
okay.
me?
oh, gosh.
i don’t have no one
that can come.
yeah, i know.
so i don’t know if it’s
the best way to go.
thank you.
deal?
deal?
deal.
michael: max, max, please.
can you help your sister out?
it’s been a week
since our wedding.
my heart still flutters.
-hey!
-literally, i have such energy
and positive emotions.
it’s beautiful, it’s wonderful.
i wouldn’t change a thing.
sarah: so, how was your time
with daddy and juliana?
good.
did you guys go
trick or treating?
what did
juliana dress up as?
a zombie.
a zombie?
but kind of
hot, right?
-yeah.
-dad, stop.
she was offered
a lot of tricks.
so max and cece,
it’s getting late.
you two go upstairs,
get your homework done
and get ready for bed, okay?
i love you, sweetie.
-love you.
-i love you too, monkey.
-see you in the morning.
-yeah, good night.
-love you buddy.
-love you.
good night.
so, the wedding
turned out great.
oh, man.
it was a blast.
it was beyond anything
we could have dreamt of.
the service was amazing.
thank you.
that blew my mind, really.
it was perfect.
it’s so funny because
remember it rained
before our wedding,
but the day before
and the day after
our wedding?
that’s kind of
how it was for you guys.
yeah, i thought about
the same thing.
but the actual
wedding day was just --
gorgeous. perfect.
glorious and perfect.
yeah.
yep.
so, um, i know there
was some talk about
getting
a prenuptial agreement.
did you visit
the mediator?
yeah, we did. we did.
how’d that work out?
decided not to do it.
why did you decide
not to get one?
to be honest, it was
a horrible experience.
juliana was so upset.
i don’t want to do it.
i believe in love,
and i believe
in this relationship.
not the kind of way
i want to live my life anyway.
you know, contracts
when it comes to
being married.
it puts such a bad,
dark cloud
over the whole thing
in a way.
sarah: i really wasn’t surprised
at juliana’s response.
when she met mike,
she probably felt like,
"okay, this is somebody
i can rely on."
but then she gets here,
and a few weeks later,
she’s in a lawyer’s office
suggesting that perhaps
she won’t be able
to rely on him.
so, if there’s
nothing in writing
and something happened,
how do you know whatever
you’ve had set aside
for the kids
is going
to be protected?
if something happens
with juliana and i,
they’ll be fine,
you know?
that’s more estate planning
and setting things up
so that they’re okay,
blah, blah, blah, you know?
i’ve always trusted that
you take care of your family.
if you feel that the kids’
futures are protected,
i just have to trust that
everything’s going to work out
just fine, right?
life is dealing
with unknowns.
you can’t pretend to be able
to plan for everything,
every contingency.
there’s no way.
i’m not
worried about that.
you know?
yeah.
the kids will be fine.
anna: we’re very behind.
people are coming in an hour.
i don’t have anything set up.
i don’t have anything done.
my hair’s not done, nothing.
once we get back to the house,
we’ve only got two hours
before the ceremony.
okay.
you need to breathe.
i know, i’m, like,
starting to freak out.
robert: right now, i’m having
second thoughts.
woman: all rise, please.
a lot of second thoughts.
there’s something i want to say.
i can’t do this.
oh, my god.
-don’t turn off it!
-i’m fixing it.
okay, you guys
stop hitting
each other
like little babies.
we’re very behind.
people are coming in an hour.
i don’t have anything set up.
i don’t have anything done.
my hair is not done,
nothing.
anna: on the way back home,
i’m kind of freaking out.
there’s only five hours
until the visa expires,
and once we get back
to the house,
we’ve only got two hours
before the ceremony
and it’s just insane.
we’ve got to get all this stuff
done, and there’s no time.
okay.
you guys, we got to hurry
and get some stuff.
leo: let’s go
in the house.
okay. come on.
okay, um...
look. mursel, look.
mursel, look.
you go...
yes, very easy.
you, okay?
-hey, anna
-yeah?
okay, i’m sorry --
no, you’re fine.
