Are you ready to present
your invention to the class?

-Yes, Miss Greer!
-Beep-boop-bopity.

That means, "Good luck, Ada," in robot!

-You got this, Ada.
-Yeah!

Today, I'm proud to present my invention,

-the Square-N-Stack bot!
-[class] Wow!

It takes eggs, boils them so they're soft,

then squishes them into cubes
so they don't roll off your plate.

-Amazing!

Okay. Here we go-- Whoa!

[gasps]

-Ah! [gasps]
-[egg cracks]

-Oh, no! Ah!
-[Rosie] Watch out!

-Oh, dear.
-Whoops.

-[giggling]

[class laughs]

-[bell rings]

I'm fine, Miss Greer. Gotta go, bye!

[sighs] It's so embarrassing
I can't even talk about it!

I bonked into my machine, it broke

and Miss Greer got egged
and the whole class laughed!

when I can't even forget about today?

The only thing I can do is
never leave the house again. [sighs]

Or you could invent a time machine
so it's like it never happened.

that's a brilliant idea!

I need to go back in time
and make sure my machine doesn't mess up.

but it'd be next-level to go back in time

She was one of NASA's best computers.

who did lots of calculations by hand

were called computers.

I've always dreamed
of meeting a cool old-timey knight.

[gasps] But what if Benny
makes the wrong calculations

and the world gets
filled with attack bots?

I think if we just change my one
teeny tiny embarrassing moment,

-we won't mess up anything big.

to find a way to travel through time.

Ooh! Maybe we can make
my parents' car go super-duper fast.

If we travel faster
than the speed of sound,

we might be able to travel through time.

But we tried that, remember?

When Benny was homesick? It didn't work.

Ah! I've got a wild idea!
We could jump through a black hole.

Scientists think that might be
one way to time travel.

Interstellar thinking, Rosie.

But the closest black hole
is 1,500 light years away.

-That's super-duper far.
-Oh! I'm getting an idea download.

Maybe instead of a black hole,
we could look for a wormhole.

-"Worms"? Ugh!
-[Benny laughs]

Not that kind of wormhole.

I mean a tunnel through space and time,

also called "space-time."

Oh, no!
That egg splat was so embarrassing.

We need to find a wormhole stat
so I can go back in time and fix it.

There's just one microchip-sized problem.

No one's ever found one.

Scientists just think they might exist.

Then we can be the first to find one!

But how would we find one?

According to Dr. Galactic in Comet Quest,
things act weird around wormholes,

like the air gets really cold,
and they're also super magnetic.

Sounds like we'd need something like…

-This?
-[Rosie] There's a magnifying glass,

so we can look for sudden
tiny movements in the air.

And a compass to point us
toward things that are magnetic!

Yep. I also included a thermometer
to see if the air gets cold.

Excellent. Now we just need
to put it all together,

find a wormhole, and go back in time
and stop me from embarrassing myself

in front of the whole class. Easy-peasy.

[upbeat music playing]

[giggles]

Can't forget the goo
to hold this all together.

Now we can build it.

[upbeat music playing]

-Huh?
-[meows]

[gasps, giggles]

And the Wormhole Finder is ready!

Hold up. Did you kids
actually build a time machine?

Not exactly.
We built this to help us find a wormhole

so we can travel through
a tunnel in space-time.

Whoa! Like in Comet Quest?

Now this I gotta see!

Mmm.

Wait. Something weird's
going on there. Look!

It's happening! A wormhole must be
making the leaves move funny.

-[gasping]
-Ooh!

[all gasp]

[Ada] Or it's just a bunny.

-Aw, man.
-Come on, we've gotta keep looking.

[shuddering]

The-The thermometer says
it's getting cold.

Does that mean a wormhole's nearby?

Nah, that's Scoop Dogg's freezer. Mmm.

-Aw, test tubes.
-Phooey!

Let's keep looking.

-[gasping]
-[Iggy] What's wrong?

The compass needle is going wild!

There must be something
super magnetic close by.

Please be a wormhole.

[Bernice] A wormhole? [chuckles]
Nope, more like a meteorite.

-[sighs]

Baby doll, you look disappointed.

You usually love
scientific stuff like this.

A meteorite is a hunk of space rock
that's full of magnetic material.

That's why it made your compass
act funkier than a zebra in a blizzard.

-Nice.
-Whoa.

[sighs deeply]

If we can't find a wormhole,

I'll never be able
to show my face in class again.

[gasps] I have an idea!

Guys, I was thinking, maybe something
that helps us travel to the past

would be around
a bunch of stuff from the past.

I see what you're saying.

There's tons of old stuff
in this archaeology shop,

so maybe there's a wormhole in here.

-Interesting theory.
-I guess?

Let's test it.

-[Rosie] Watch out!

I'm so embarrassed
I don't want anyone to look at me.

And we didn't even find a wormhole.

So, what's this I hear
about you being embarrassed, baby doll?

My brain won't stop thinking about the egg
splatting in Miss Greer's face today.

And I just did it again with the goo.

Well, embarrassment is
as normal as frosting on a cupcake.

Even I get embarrassed sometimes.

So, what do you do to get rid of it?

I find a way to get
all those embarrassed feelings out of me

by expressing them.

Expressing them how?

By laughing, or crying,
or writing in my journal, or…

-[kids laugh]

Oh, yeah! Whenever I need
to get my emotions out,

my dad tells me to do
a silly wiggle dance. Like this.

[grunting] Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle…

Don't you want to
wiggle out that embarrassment?

I guess I can try,

but I don't think dancing
will make me less embarrassed.

[giggles] Whoa! [crashes]

-[all gasp]

Dancing did help.

When I think about my machine
messing up in front of the class,

I don't feel as embarrassed as before.

-Yeah!

So, does this mean we're done
with wormhole hunting?

Yup. Now that I got rid
of my embarrassment,

I don't need to go back in time.

I'll just fix my machine
and wow everyone tomorrow.

-Yeah!
-Cool!

Ada? Are you ready to present
your invention to your classmates?

Yes, Miss Greer. 100% ready.

I even brought these face shields,

just in case there's another egg-splosion.

[class laughs]

your smile's gonna go sunny-side up.

-[machine rattles]
-[suspenseful music playing]

[machine dings]

-[class cheers]
-[Ada giggles]

-Huh?
-[machine rattles]

-[gasps]
-[Iggy] Oh, no!

Ahh! Whoa!

No way! I was just thinking
about these square eggs.

What else can I get if I think about it?

[machine rattles]

[all gasp]

Oh, no!

[laughs]

-Oops. That is pretty funny!
-[all laugh and applaud]

That's pretty flipping amazing!

-[cheering continues]

That was marvelous!

I'm so ecstatic you decided
to try again today that I could hoot.

-Hoot, hoot!
-[class laughs]

Me too.

Yesterday was pretty embarrassing,

but I learned
to express my feelings like this!
