That's how you drink tea
at a proper fancy tea party.

to meet new friends, but she's nervous.

It's the perfect amounts
of water and soap.

I'll hook up speakers
to play her favorite tunes.

I'm gonna paint a bee-utiful mural
of Bee-Bee and her new friends.

I gotta add these ideas
to my design notes.

My notebook's not here.
Maybe it's at my mom's? Or my dad's?

Having a room at both of their houses

makes it super-duper-trooper hard
to remember all my stuff.

But I don't wanna
mess up Bee-Bee's tea party.

I need them to build the palace.

She kinda handed out her invites already.

So that means the kids will be here

in three hours, six minutes,
and 46 seconds.

We promised Bee-Bee a palace

for her first playdate
with her new friends,

-and my bad memory ruined it.
-Breathe, Iggy.

-Iggy, you know this place inside and out.

You knew where everything was,
even walking backwards.

I'm an architect.
Knowing places is my thing.

I wish my memory
worked like that for my stuff.

Hmm. Let's check my dad's.

[grunting] Yes! I don't think
I've seen your designs, kiddo.

We could get magic peanuts
to turn Iggy into an elephant.

My mom says they have amazing memories.

But elephants are huge.

Iggy wouldn't fit into
his mom's or dad's houses anymore.

And I like hanging out with my parents.

I know! We could
turn Iggy's brain into a supercomputer

and then store all his memories on it.
He'd remember everything.

Computers are neat and all,
but I like my brain the way it is.

Iggy, you look like
you're in a video game.

[both laugh]

Game? An idea's downloading.

Two words. Brain games.

I don't feel like playing now.
I'm a little stressed out about my memory.

Yeah, Bee-Bee's tea party palace is
already behind schedule.

Glam-Ma plays games
that she says help her memory.

Ooh! What's this? Memory Palace Technique?

I've never heard of a Memory Palace.
What'd you think it is?

-Ooh! Wonder if there are unicorns there.
-[laughing]

A Memory Palace is a place
you build in your mind

to help you remember things.
It uses spatial memory.

That helps you remember
where the furniture is in your house.

Like how Iggy knew
everything in his mom's kitchen?

Exactly. But it's not just
for remembering where furniture is.

People use memory palaces
to remember tons of stuff,

like recipe ingredients or world capitals.

So, I can design a palace in my brain
that helps me remember my stuff?

Mind. Blown! And it uses spatial memory,
which I'm already good at?

This technique sounds made for me.
How does it work?

Step one, imagine a palace that looks
like a place you know really well,

like your house,
school or a friend's backyard.

Step two, picture putting
the stuff you want to remember

in different places around the palace.

The sillier, the better.

This is already my favorite
memory technique ever!

Step three, imagine
walking through the palace,

and taking all the things
you want to remember.

Yes, yes! This should definitely
help me remember my stuff.

My designs, my ruler, my pencil case,
and my notebook.

-I'm ready to build my Memory Palace.

Since it's better
to design a Memory Palace

based on places you know,

I think I'm gonna make mine look
like my mom and dad's houses.

First, I'll imagine a room
like my dad's kitchen,

but with silly stuff in it,
like a centaur chef

next to the tallest tower
of pancakes ever.

And I'll picture a garden
that looks like my mom's,

with a chocolate fountain
and elephants dancing around it.

Now, I'll put the things
I want to remember in my Memory Palace.

-[Rosie] Oh!
-[Ada giggles]

-[Ada] Ooh!
-[Benny laughs] Cool!

-[Rosie] Wow!
-[laughing]

So silly!

Now, you need to walk
through your Memory Palace.

Okay. First, I go to my dad's kitchen,

and pick up my designs
from under the pancakes,

and my ruler from the freezer.
Then, I go into my mom's garden,

and get my pencil case
from the chocolate fountain,

and my notebook
from the elephant ballerinas.

But right now, I still don't know
where I left my designs,

and it's almost time
for Bee-Bee's playdate.

Cheer up emoji. We'll figure it out.
We gotta keep thinking outside the box.

[gasps] Outside.

[gasps] That's it!
I know where my designs are.

We checked inside my dad's house,
but we never looked outside. Come on!

-[Ada] Hmm.
-[Rosie] Ah…

Hmm. [gasps]

[sighs] My designs! I missed you.

-Yay!
-Awesomesauce.

Iggy found his designs, and we have
time to save Bee-Bee's playdate.

Come on, crew, let's move it.
We've got a tea party palace to build.
