Hmm.

This looks like a good spot.

How about putting the blanket
right here, under the tree?

[Dog barking in distance]

Can we go down to the pond now?

Sure.

LISA:
It's a pond.

It's a lot smaller than the
ocean, but big enough for us.

Lisa, what's that girl wearing?

That's a life jacket.

If she falls into the water, the
life jacket will help her float

until someone can come
and rescue her.

Just like the one on
Moppy's boat?


Exactly!

Hey, how 'bout we let Corduroy
give it a try?

What do you say, Corduroy?

Want to try sailing?

Yes, please!

And would you believe, I got
the boat to jump over this log!

He's right-- Hey!

with the boat.

You mean you don't have him?

Um, well...

When was the last time
you saw him?

I guess when I went to check out
that motor boat.

You left Corduroy alone?

What if he falls in the water,
or gets lost?!

What if someone decides
to steal him?

Hi, fishies!

I don't have any food for you.

We haven't had our picnic yet!

The pond must be taking me
somewhere.

I wonder where I'm going.

Oh!

[Dog barking]

jacket too, just in case.

There's one on the boat.

[Grunting]

LISA:
Corduroy!

Cordy, where are you?

Corduroy!

MOM:
Hey, you two.

What's all the fuss about?

Corduroy's missing!

He was in Moppy's boat
but it floated away,

and we can't find it!

It's not very windy,
so he can't have gone very far.

This is all your fault, Moppy.

How could you lose Corduroy?

You were supposed
to take care of him!

Now, Lisa.

No, she's right,
it's all my fault.

I'm the one who left him alone.

Instead of worrying about
whose fault it is,

why don't we split up
and search the whole pond?

Fine.

I'll go this way.

Then I'll go that way.

Be careful now!

[Sighing]

I guess I'll look that way.

Corduroy!

Corduroy, where are you?

Look out!

Oops!

Oh, sorry!

Hey, have you seen my bear?

You know, the one in the boat?

He was sailing by here a few
minutes ago, heading that way.

[Boat whirring]

LISA:
Corduroy?

Corduroy, over here!

Lisa!

Look, I'm a real sailor!

Thank goodness you're okay,
Corduroy!

Hold on tight!

I'm going to rescue you!

I'm ready to be rescued.

I found my own life jacket,
and I learned how to sail!

That's my bear.

I'm very proud of you!

MOPPY:
Is that Corduroy?

What a relief!

He's still out on the water.

Don't worry,
I'll go in and grab him.

She can probably reach
far enough.

Corduroy might get blown away.

I'll betcha this'll work
if we work together.

Fine, I guess we can try it.

[Gasping]

[Both grunting]

so I'm going to make
a pasta salad.

I have to make the dressing.

Oh, Mom's favourite,

chocolate chips.

Never tried that before,
but I bet it's really good.
