It looks like your seafood
salesman's gonna be

on ice for quite some time.

The city regretfully
withdraws it's offer.

They can't withdraw their offer.

Apparently they can.

Well, I wanna make a deal.

Come on, man, I want to talk.

I'll talk about
Danny-up. I don't care.

They can't withdraw their offer.

[Pager beeping]

Alright, this run is
over, break it down,

throw it in the river. Now!

Man 1: Alright, break it down.

Get the rest of the cooks
and get the hell out of here.

[Indistinct chatter]

Man 2: Alright,
let's go. Pick it up!

Move, man. Move, man.

This is serious. Man, he
could have brain damage.

Everybody into the lab!

Move it!

Forget the kid!

[Tense music]

Listen, you got to
take this kid with you.

He's gonna die if he
doesn't get to a hospital.

No, I would if this was a
saving-a-kid kind of day, maybe.

But, unfortunately,
today is turning

into a save-my-a*s kind of day.

So, I advise you
to take this cash

and get the hell out of my face.

You're taking him with you!

[Chuckles] I can't believe this.

What an ungrateful act.

And I was starting to like you.

Now, listen real close.

This ain't covenant house.

Now, if you don't take
your hands off me,

I will save myself $25,000

and plant your
spic a*s in a landfill.

[Tense music]

Elmore, elmore, breathe, elm...

- Elmore! Come on, elmore.
- Hey, hey! What's going on?

He's not breathing.

Damn. Okay, what's
wrong with you? Elmore.

[Tense music]

Come on. Come on, elmore.

Eddie: Come on, breathe!
You're gonna be fine.

Lawrence: I'm gonna
get that b*stard.

Eddie: Lawrence, no!

It's alright, man.

[Upbeat music]

- You're gonna pay!
- Lawrence.

Maybe this is a
sign of weakness,

but I like you. Don't
make me k*ll you.

Don't move.

[Chuckles] You
think I won't k*ll her?

Bang, she's dead.
Bang, you're dead.

k*ll your friend. You
wouldn't like that, would you?

Huh?

Put the g*n down. Drop the g*n!

Come on. Put the g*n down, man.

[Danny-up chuckles]

Kick it away.

[g*n clatters]

[Chuckles]

Really nice working with you.

Maybe we'll get a
chance to do it again.

[Tires screeching]

[Police siren wailing]

[g*n c*ck] Freeze!

[Upbeat music]

J.c.: Get out of the car.
Don't do anything stupid!

[Police radio chatter]

Drop it! Now!

Eddie: Don't even
think about it. Alright?

Hands behind
your back. Cuff him.

[Indistinct chatter]

[Radio chatter]

- Elmore's gonna be alright.
- Am I going to jail?

You're definitely gonna
have to go through the system,

but I'll be there to talk
to the judge, alright?

Look, I need somebody
to call my mom, alright?

Come on.

[Instrumental music]

So tell me, what you
were doing the whole time

that I was missing, huh?

You were missing?

[Laughs]

Yo, it was the quietest
three days I had

since I've been on the force.

Well, um...

Thanks.

Thanks for getting
me out of there.

No problem, man.

Who else is gonna
show me where the best

frijoles are, you know?

Besides, I know you'd
have done the same for me.

You right.

Maybe.

[Both laughing]
