We have to get you all cleaned up.

Today, you're all going to have
your first swimming lesson.

But first we have to get cleaned up.

Whoo-hoo. Finally,
something I'll be the best at.

After all, I'm a duck.
And a duck takes to water like me.

I'm sure you'll be swell, Daffy.
I wish we all could be as good.

[Granny] Daffy, dear,
it's time to get out and dry off.

Forget swell. I'm gonna be
the best swimmer of them all.

Ducks are naturally great swimmers
on account of our webbed feet.

Whoa.

Exactly.

Say! Warn a fella
before you just stop, will you?

-That sure is a lot of water.
-Step aside.

Let me show you how--

That's the pool?

Everyone have their water wings?

[all] Uh-huh.

Good. Now, which one of you
brave youngsters wants to get in first?

Daffy does, Granny.

Well, first, we ducks
always check the water.

It's too cold, Granny.
Well, maybe tomorrow.

Then let's let the others
enjoy the water today.

[Taz blabbering]

[Granny laughing]

[Bugs] Bugs away!

I hate it when he does that.

[Lola] Come on in, Daffy.

The water's fine today.

Nope. It's too warm for us ducks.

We're very particular swimmers.
Maybe tomorrow.

Okay, Goldilocks,
today the water should be just right.

[blowing nose]

I have a cold in my beak.

Did you see how many rings I picked up?

Sorry. I was thinking about Daffy.

He still won't come swimming?

[Bugs] I think
that little duck's afraid of the water.

Poor Daf. He's missing so much fun.

Yep, but you know Daffy.

He'll never admit he's afraid.

And if he doesn't,
he'll never deal with his fear.

So we gotta sneak it out of him.

I think I know a way.

[Granny] Sleep tight.

Eh, Granny?
Could we leave a night-light on?

It's pretty dark tonight,
and I'm kind of scared.

Why, of course, Bugs.

How dark is it gonna be?
I get so afraid of the dark sometimes.

Don't be such a scaredy-cat.

Watch what you're saying!

Now, Daffy, being afraid
is nothing to be ashamed of.

It takes a very brave person
to admit he's afraid.

Now get a good night's sleep.
We have an early swim lesson tomorrow.

Broccoli. Blech!

Taz is afraid of broccoli.

How can you be afraid of a vegetable?

Granny will make it for lunch.

I was kind of afraid our first swimming
lesson. What about you, Daffy?

I'm not scared.
I just decided I don't like swimming.

But you like bath time.

Oh.

Yeah, but there's not as much water,
and there's lots of bubbles.

But the pool's really fun.

Once you get used to it,
it isn't so frightening.

I'm not going swimming and that's final.

[Bugs] Come on, Daffy.

You should at least try again.

I bet tomorrow
that old pool won't seem so scary.

I doubt it.

I'm gonna be
the only duck who is a chicken.

This should do the trick.

Now, Taz!

This time, I think
you're gonna like the pool.

Say, that looks just like bath time.

Go ahead.
Just pretend you're taking a bath.

Hey. [chuckles] I'm floating.
Just like in the bathtub.

[chuckles] This swimming thing is a cinch.

I bet soon
you won't even need the bubbles.

[all laughing]

Last one in is a rubber ducky.

I liked it better
when he didn't like to swim.

[giggles] Come on, rubber ducky.

As I was saying,

we ducks are natural-born swimmers.
