Oh, come on. Go, go, go.

[cars whizzing by over TV]

[people cheering over TV]

[cheers]

What a finish.

-Hi, Granny.
-What you doing?

Making cookies

and watching the end
of the Pawtucket 500 car race.

Cookies?

Car race? That sounds exciting.

Oh, it was.

And look. There's the winner.

[cheering over TV]

[Lola] Wow. Look at that trophy!

Look at those cars!

Oh, look at the time.

I've got to get these cookies in the oven.

Hey, Lo,
let's get the rest of the g*ng together

and see if they wanna build racecars.

-Then we can race them.
-Yeah.

And the winner can win a great big trophy.

Granny, do you have a trophy
we can borrow?

I have better than that, Bugs.

I'll make the winner of your little race
a trophy out of my freshly baked cookies.

The winner gets a cookie trophy? Wow.

Come on, Bugs. Let's get started.

[metal clicking]

-Thanks, Lola.
-Don't mention it.

Plunger.

Plunger.

-Finger-paint.
-Finger-paint.

Ooh! Pretty.

-Squeaky hammer.
-Squeaky hammer.

[squeaking]

Congratulations, Lola.

We are now the proud parents
of a brand-new, bright-blue racing car.

Ooh! It looks like it's really fast.

It sure does.

This little beauty's sure to win the race.

That's what you think, bunny boy.

My duck-mobile
is sure to win Granny's prize.

Mm. I can almost taste that trophy now.

Nah-uh-uh. Sorry, Taz.

You can't eat the trophy
unless you win the car race.

[grumbles indistinctly] Really?

Yes, really.

Ha. [grumbles indistinctly]

I wanted to win. Hmph.

Almost finished.

[grunting]

Ha!

There. Got it.

Ah. What's the point?
I never win anything anyway.

Sylvester.

If you give up before the race,
there's no way you're going to win.

Come on. You can do it.

[sighs] Very well. If you insist.

[Taz humming]

[laughs] Taz win race. Ha-ha.

[chuckles] Win race? With that log?

-Not a chance.
-Be nice, Daffy.

Taz has just as much chance
as everyone else does.

Sure he does.

I guess we all have
our little dreams, don't we?

Ah, Taz win race.

[laughs]

Vroom, vroom!

I've been
looking forward to this race all morning.

Vroom, vroom!

[panting]

Slow down. You're going too fast.

This is a racecar.
It's supposed to go fast.

That's no excuse
for unsafe toy-car driving.

Beep, beep. Coming through.

Make way for Daffy Duck's
fuel-injected, nitro-burning funny car.

That just means it's really, really fast.

Oh.

Oh, heck.

Watch out for those toys.

I see them.

-Gee, thanks.
-Don't mention it.

Ladies and gentle-babies,
I am proud to announce

that the First Annual
Granny's Cookie Trophy Little Toy Car Race

is about to begin.

You're lost, aren't you?

Why don't you just admit it
and ask for directions?

I am not lost.

Then why are we all the way over here
and the slide is all the way over there?

Eh...

I'm not lost,
I'm just taking the scenic route.

Gee, isn't it pretty over here?

Men.

Would the racers please bring the cars
to the starting line?

[excited chattering]

Where's Taz?

[grumbling indistinctly]

[both grunt]

[grunts]

[gasps, then gulps]

[sobbing]

Taz no win race!

Taz no eat trophy!

When I have a car in my tummy,
I can't even think about dessert.

[burps]

[sighs]

Looks like
I'm out of the running too, pal.

Typical. This cat never lands on his feet.

[burps]

Poor little guys.

They both could use some help.

That gives me an idea.

-Come on, Bugs.
-Whoa.

Look, you two, why don't you
team together like Bugs and me?

-Team?
-Sure.

If you use some of Taz's wheels,

then you'll have
a working car you can share.

All Taz has to do
is burp up a couple of more wheels

and you can still be in the race.

Eh, so, what do you say, Taz?
Do you wanna be Sylvester's partner?

[stomach grumbles]

[burps]

Thanks, partner.

I don't know
why any of you are even bothering.

My car is a guaranteed winner.

Oh, yeah? We'll see about that.

Yep, there's nothing like a good
old Taz-hammer to fix things up.

Yee!

Racers, start your engines.

[all] Huh?

We don't have any engines.

Humor me.

[all imitating engines]

On your marks, get set, roll!

[all chattering]

Whoo-hoo!

Go, duck, go!

-Come on, speedy.
-Go, go, go!

Oh, if I would've known
our car was this slow

I would've brought a sack lunch.

[grumbles indistinctly]

If you surrender now,
I might give you a bite of the trophy.

Surrender? Never.

Yeah. Never.

[screeching]

Uh-oh.

What do you say when "sorry" isn't enough?

The winner!

-We won. We won.
-[laughing]

I can't believe we actually won.

I can't believe I lost
to a junky car with burped-up wheels.
