I'm so excited for the show to start.

Me too.

Bugs has been practicing like crazy

ever since he bought that magic kit
at the toy store.

[kids cheering]

Introducing the one and only,

extra super-duper,
gigantical to the bazillionth power,

Bugs The Mag-Nifical Mag-Mystical
Magician!

[kids applauding]

[kids laughing]

[kids laughing]

Oh, ha, ha. Now, now.

Eh, heh, heh.

Uh, heh-heh-heh. Ahem.

And now for my first trick...

I will break these eggs into my hat,

wave my magic wand over them
and make them disappear.

Like your talent? Ha-ha-ha.

No. Like your manners.

[kids laughing]

Lola, if you would,
please break the eggs into my hat.

-One.
-[both gasp]

Two.

Uh, um...

Eh, three.

Oh, yeah.

Three.

Thank you, Lola.

Now, I simply wave my magic wand
over my hat

and say the magic words,
presto, change-o, alakazam!

-Ta-da!
-[kids laughing]

[kids laughing]

[sighs]

Bugs,
is that the end of the magic show, dear?

Granny, I don't even think
there is such a thing as magic.

Not anymore.

Of course there is, Bugs.

There's magic everywhere.

And with a little more practice,

I'll bet you could be
the best little magician there ever was.

Let me see your hands.

Hmm. Oh. Clear as day.

What is?

It's just plain easy to see
that these are the hands of a little one

who can do
just about anything he sets his mind to.

Really?

Oh, yes.
You just need a little inspiration.

What's "insaspration"?

Inspiration is a magic feeling
you get inside

that makes you want to do
something special.

And today is the perfect day
to go looking for it.

Hey, how'd you do that?

Magic, ha, ha.

-And today is especially magical.
-How come?

Because today is March 21st,
the first day of spring.

And that means there's magic in the air,
magic in the soil, and magic in the water.

Even in the trees.

There's magic everywhere you look, Bugs.

Hmm... First day of spring, huh?

Well, if there's so much magic,
how come I can't see it, Granny?

Huh? Granny?

I don't get it.

What did Granny mean when she said
there's magic everywhere I look?

[loud humming nearby]

Whoa!

[giggles]

Hey, wait up. Where you going?

Ooh.

Wow.

[laughing]

Hmm... This turns into this,
then this turns into this.

This tree knows
how to turn flowers into apples.

That's a pretty good trick.

How did you baby birds
get inside those eggs?

That's gotta be the best trick yet.

Whoa! [gasps]

-Ribbit.
-Eh, ribbit.

[chiming]

[loud chomping nearby]

[chiming]

[chiming]

[chirping]

[chirping]

Now, that's what I call magic.

Turning a plain old backyard
into a big symphony orchestra.

Hey there, little flower.

You're trying really hard

to grow out of that crack
in the sidewalk, aren't you?

Boy, if you can try that hard
to make magic happen, then so can I.

[Granny] You certainly can, Bugs.

Granny! You were right.

There is magic everywhere.

That's right, little one.

And the best part is that the special
magic of spring happens every year.

It never gives up trying.

But the magic of spring
and the magic in me

aren't the same kind of magic.

Aren't they, Bugs?

You mean like that magic feeling
we were talking about before?

Inspiration.

Yeah, "inspration."

-Where are you going, Bugs?
-Back inside.

Me and my "inspration"
have a magic show to do.

And now for my first trick,

I'm going to make my lovely assistant,
Lola, disappear.

Yeah.

Ala-ka-magic, alakazam
Say goodbye to Lola

And see what a good magician I am

[kids gasping]

-[kids cheering]
-All right.

Hey, Mr. Magic Pants,

if you're so mag-mystical,
then where's Lola?

Let's hear it for the lovely Lola.

Ta-da!

How'd you do that?

Easy. It's spring.

All I had to do
was find a little "inspration."

What's "inspration?"

Yeah. And where can we find some?

Come on outside. I'll show you.

[kids laughing]

[Granny] Hmm.

You wanna come, Granny? It's springtime.

And there's enough "inspration"
for us all.

I wouldn't miss it for the world.
