Kids today don't know how good
they have it with all these gizmos.

It's time we got back
to basics around here.

You kids don't need all this stuff.

Everybody grab your toothbrushes.

We're going away for the weekend.

like it was over 200 years ago."

We'll get back to basics
just like the folks lived in olden times.

Gosh. It's not exactly the Ritz.

Welcome to the 1800's Log Cabin.

Everything here
is just like it was back in history.

As you can see, they were simpler times,
without your electricity or phones.

I never took a tour
of what isn't there before.

That's what the 1800s is all about,
small gray rabbit.

It may not be the stuff you're used to,
but it sure has everything you'll need.

-No refrigerator?
-Nope.

-No microwave?
-No.

Internet?

Afraid not.

There's a fishing net, though, a good one.

Well, is there soap?

No.

Just kidding. But back in 1800,
y'all'd have to make that too.

Make-y soap?

Good luck.

And have fun.

Fat chance of that.

[Granny] Oh, sunset.

You kids better get to bed.

I don't know why we have
to go to bed so early, Taz.

We didn't do anything wrong.

What kind of vacation is this?

We better get to sleep since Granny says.
She's always got her reasons.

We all have to work together
to make breakfast.

Well, Sylvester dear,
the milk's in the barn.

Floyd, why don't you
help the boys fetch it

while the girls and I get started
here in the kitchen?

That's the way it was
all those years ago in the 1800s.

-We're all going to pitch in, guys.
-[door closes]

What's all this stuff for, Granny?

That's a churn to make butter, Lola,
and wax and string for candles,

which, Petunia and Melissa,
I need you to do.

Tweety will help me grind wheat
to make bread, okay?

Okay.

[Floyd] Milking is a snap
once you get the hang of it.

'Course, this cow is an older model
than I'm used to.

[Sylvester & Taz laughing]

Tell Granny I helped.

It's my turn already.

Remember, this is a team effort.

Now, if you'll excuse me,
I have an outhouse to clean.

[both] Yuck!

[humming]

I wanted a saucer of milk.

But this is ridiculous.

This is hard work, isn't it?

[Tweety snoring]

Ooh! I tested the dough for softness.
It's just fine.

That's nice, dear.

You take a break.

Potatoes ready to peel.

This afternoon, we'll all work together
fair and square.

These days, everyone knows

girls and boys can do
whatever they put their minds to.

[Floyd] Daffy! Bugs! Hey!

Go see Granny right now.

Sorry about all the mess, Granny.
We really wanna help, really.

Well, I'm glad to hear it.

Will you two please fetch water
from the well to drink with supper?

Before we eat,
I'd like to take a moment for us all

to be thankful for this wonderful meal.

And be thankful for great friends.

They're what matters.

Aw, shucks, Bugs.

Suffering succotash.

What? I hate succotash! Ew!

[Granny] Eat your vegetables, Sylvester.

After supper,
we'll all work together to clean up.

Then, we'll have lovely peach cobbler
and fresh whipped cream

-for dessert around the fire.
-[all] Ooh.

Now, how does that sound?

That sounds great, Granny,
except one little thing.

Oh. Well, what's that, Bugs, darling?

We think it's time you got a break.
And we'll do all the cleaning up.

[upbeat music playing]

Now you all see why we went
to bed before sundown.

[yawning]

Goodness. Even I'm ready to call it a day.

And what a wonderful day it was.

Time to get to sleep, everybody.

Will you look at that?

[snoring]

[rooster crowing]

I never knew how much fun
we could have without all our stuff.

I'm very proud of all of you
for giving up your gizmos for a while,
