one well today on Zoom we will be making

sort of like the exact same thing except

it's upside down Diego s of Longford

Connecticut built went at home and gave

us a helpful hint use lots of clay now

lenise and I are going to be making one

using

straws

pencils

scissors

string

tape clay a lot of clay a lot of clay

and construction paper cut out in

different kinds of shape uh let's use

the clay as a base and the pencil as a

string string yeah you're right all

right

stick the Eraser of the pencil in the

center saying it's a

string and

using straw no no no no using a straw

you should put another piece of um clay

at the top so why don't we just wrap

clay around um the center of the straw

okay so that it balances and then we'll

stick it on the point of the pencil all

right we'll put string through the straw

but make sure it hangs off the edges of

the straw that way it can be like a

scale and balance like this

two shapes to the ends of the string

top the tip of the pencil and then you

have your first level now this is a hard

part building your second level you see

have to take some and add weight to the

other side oh you already have it great

program I am black I am B I am red and I

am white but hold on we are all

different but our so are still the same

no matter what color we are or what we

look like now but what's our main

message out there to them

people but our soul are still the same I

can't hear you but our soul are still

the same say what

but y y

y m potatoes are my favorite food so I'm

going to show you how to make make

homemade potato chips what you need are

vegetable oil salt and

potatoes first preheat your oven to

375° and then wash and peel your potato

like this one and you cut it up in very

small slices you may want your parents

help on this one and the way that you

should hold your potato while you're

cutting it is you put your fingers like

this so won't get cut all right right

the thinner the potatoes are the easier

they will bake so they're going to be

crunchier

okay and I'll just leave it like that

and then put that aside and then you

brush on some vegetable oil onto your

baking

sheet fill up the whole thing okay and

then you put on all of your potato

slices onto the

sheet

okay I'm putting on a

lot

okay then you sprinkle on some

salt all right

when that's done you put them into the

oven for about 10 minutes until they're

golden

brown and

then when 10 minutes is up you check on

them flip them over and put a little

more salt on them for five more minutes

until they're golden brown and then it

should look like this

and then let him cool off and then when

that's done you take a big

bite they

Carolina long long ago so long that I

can barely remember it there was no

color on the earth yes that's right the

trees were black and white the plants

were black and white and the animals

were black and white everywhere you

looked and everything you saw was the

same in this black and white World there

was an artist he was such a good artist

that when you looked at his pictures it

seemed like everything was real he

painted everything just the way he saw

it in black and white but the artist was

bored oh how he wished he could make his

pictures look different from his black

and white

world one day the artist drew a picture

of something he had never seen before

the picture had lots of lines and they

were curved like the bow he used to

sh**t his arrows but he was angry at the

picture because even though it was

different it was the same it was still

black and

white that night while the artist was

asleep a big wind swept through his

house and blew the picture out the

window up up up it flew into a

tree the rains began have you ever

looked at a raindrop if you look closely

you'll see it's not just black white you

see something people now call purple and

red and blue you see color the color

from The Ring dropped onto the picture

the black and white lines weren't the

same anymore they had

color when the rains dried up and the

picture floated back to the artist he

touched the color on the picture he was

so excited he felt like waking the whole

town the artist put the picture on his

shoulder and ran out the door

outside as he touched plants people and

water everything began to have color it

was

beautiful what should I name this

picture that brought color to our world

the artist asked I know he said I'll

call it a

rainbow it was a long long time ago the

end remember when we asked you to count

the bugs you found around your house

well here's what some of you have found

out about bugs Mr tillet's class in

Fairbanks Alaska took a nature hike and

spotted lots of bugs they looked on the

ground in old tree stumps and on

branches and each kid kept track of what

they saw they found over 10 different

types of bugs like butterflies ladybugs

spiders and ants 23% of the bugs they

saw were mosquitoes I wonder why there

were so many mosquitoes that must have

been an itchy hike keep counting those

Zoom my mom is nice she is special to me

we talk about a lot of things some

things are personal we are close

together we argue a lot but we're still

friends I get on her nerves sometimes

sometimes she gets on my nerves but but

guess what we're still friends sincerely

good yeah I have a story about my mommy

um me and my dad we went to Canada and

when we came back like um I went to my

mom's house and she had like a piece of

paper for me and it had a poem on it

like a riddle and it said look behind

the couch or something and it all rhymed

and behind the couch there was like um a

bunch of flowers and inside the flowers

there was a card which led to another

clue which led me to a new sweater and

then it like it kept on going and then

the last card said like I love you and

I'm so glad you're home I missed you um

while I was alone and things like that

and it was like really sweet and it

ended like so

yeah mommies are

special like my mom good some things you

can talk to moms about and some things

you can't talk to Dad some things you

can talk to dads about yeah like and I

think I'm not saying like a son dad

mother daughter relationship is better

I'm just saying like if you're if you're

a boy it's more likely you can talk to

your dad about things because he would

generally know and the same thing with

doger and your mom it's just far easier

um me and my mom we like go shopping a

lot and we like talk and me and my dad

are more of the like you know um rent

movies and like um like we fight with

each other like you know like play fight

and everything and rough housing and

everything and I can't picture doing

that with my mom but like

my dad is like a lot easier on me than

my mom is if I'm like

um Mom can I have a sleepover it's like

a Monday night she's like she's like um

I don't know I'm like Dad can I have a

sleepover he's like yeah sure whatever

sometimes my dad's like ask your mother

yeah and then my mom's like ask your dad

before my mom used to like you know like

baby me and everything but now she let

Alles me to do my own thing more often

and she like um she like um tells me the

truth when I do something wrong instead

like oh it's beautiful and things like

that she'd be like well it's okay but I

think you could do better than that and

things like that and she acts toothful

with me now that I'm getting older I get

him like now that I'm getting older I

getting a lot more fights with my mom

and stuff like

that that's healthy though too my mom

she treats me like um

like I'm still a little kid well I am a

little kid but like

like you're a little little kid yeah my

mom still wants me to like we'd go to a

store to see cute little PR pink Philly

dress she's like Al Lea try this on I'm

like no yeah and she still expects me to

be a little kid and my parents like

they're like oh my gosh you started out

this big and now you're like this big

that's the thing with mothers like um

they they love it when they're like

little kids and they don't have to grow

up and now and now that they're all

grown up and everything and that we want

our own like Styles and everything um I

guess they're kind of like oh well we

have to let the little birdie
