hey Zoomers welcome to today's show can

you figure out why this team is called

tidal wave it's because when you shake

the sheet it looks like a really big

wave a tidal wave

this game was emailed to us by Jessica

to play you need a big sheet and a roll

a pair of socks for each player and

we're we're in color wristbands so you

can tell which sock is ours okay guys

first you're going to put your socks in

the middle of the sheet perfect and then

pull on the corn the edges so it's

really tight and you're going to shake

the sheet and try to get everyone else's

socks to knock off and the last player

was a sock left on the sheet is winner

right now

yellow is the winner so Matt you on that

round yeah okay so everyone saw you

talking

okay three two one oh that was so cool

this is a rocket powered by lemon juice

and baking soda sheriffy original in

South Carolina sent us these directions

you should probably do the Zoom sight

outdoors to make one you'll need an

empty soda or water bottle a course that

tightly fits the soda bottle if you

can't find one that fits then you might

want to wrap it in keep paper towels

toilet paper lemon juice baking soda

water and safety glasses first make

strips on paper towels and attach them

to the court like this this will make

the cork look more like a rocket then

cut a square out of toilet paper

then add about a teaspoon of baking soda

like this that's pretty good and you

have to make a little pack nice and

tight

then pour water and lemon juice into

your soda bottle right

SSO the bottle Thanks mmm then that's

pretty good yeah then add water until

it's a little less than halfway full

it's probably easier to use a funnel

second and want to be a little more yeah

put on your safety glasses and put the

baking soda packet into the bottle screw

on the court tightly shake the bottle

and stand back to lift off okay ready

yep okay we have to go wow did you see

the bottle go up in the air tail here's

the reason why the court shoots up

Cheryl says that when the water and

lemon juice oak through the toilet paper

the baking soda reacts to form carbon

dioxide see the bubble carbon dioxide is

a gas as more gas forms crushes those up

inside the bottle and sends the court

flying

we know that lemon juice is an acid and

baking soda is a base and when we mix

them together it produces carbon dioxide

now we're going to test out other acids

with baking soda and see what happens

it's all a process that the more acidic

a liquid is the more carbon dioxide it

will produce and the higher the rocket

will dock we have permission to use any

of these chemicals why aren't we tried

vinegar first okay we'll move the bottom

course every time do you think that the

bottle will go higher or lower than the

lower oh I think I think the vinegar

will probably go a little bit high

literally just because it's a stronger

acid yeah probably it might be a

stronger acid but want to find out okay

I'll hold the funnel thing uh yeah

that's pretty bad right

there we go do you want to add the water

water will you just tell me one yep a

little bit one that's good alright so

just grab the cork and get ready there

we go ready you're gonna add the baking

soda pack up oh it's leaking oh that was

wicked cool it was cool because it was

clear and a fully entering already

you wanna try orange juice jorssy orange

soda yeah yeah what do you think will

happen this I think it's an acid but

also I think it won't go as high as the

UM vinegar or lemon juice so yeah I

think so too

okay the vinegar one pretty hat if I'm

alone that's good that's good

it'll be full when it goes flying okay

put it in then you can shake it if you

want they might take it a little here

maybe we should take it might take a

while cuz I don't think orange showed as

strong as it's an acid no it doesn't

seem like it's doing anything just seem

like it's fooling around

just kind of went a little bit higher

than the vinegar because I think it's a

with acid

but a piece of lettuce onto a plate then

take half a pair and put it on the

lettuce we're using pairs on my can but

you can use fresh positive light and

take three raisins and put two on to the

eyes there we go one for the nose phone

next take two almonds and stick them on

to the side these are going to be the

ears here we go

now take a spoonful of cottage cheese

put it behind the pair okay there we go

this is going to be the tail all right

now take a baby carrot and put it by the

side of the pit and there is your bunny

salad

recently visited South Dakota she sent

us this home video about her trip this

past spring my mom and I took a trip to

South Dakota for my granddad's bull sale

each year he sells his gold to other

farmers and ranchers who raise cattle

our first day there a man was washing

the Bulls to clean their hair and make

them look nice

one of these ba*ls is mine and I will

sell him in the sale on Saturday

every time we visit my granddad's ranch

we rush to get our cowboy boots and go

outside there are dogs to play with oh

we got audience steers to look at we

call it pink horses division

there are always new baby cap some of

these cute baby calves will grow to be

comfortable scannable sell in Ceylon

expert we saw this calf right after it

was born this is an orphan calf I mean

15 he's a boy cat boy cats are called

pulse this straw is for his bed and

sometimes he snacks a little bit on it

Andy gets his milk from this cow over

here as you see she has a captain Brown

but Chad nut milk for two calves so she

accepted him as her own bundle it was

Saturday field day that's my Uncle John

helping with the Bulls in the ring and

then who are yelling are taking and

asking for bids when a buyer nods it

means he wants to buy the bull since

lemon juice works the best because it's

most acidic when we use lemon juice the

rocket went really high

we think that vinegar is lots of fitness

because when we use it in our rocket the

rocket shouldn't all the time and orange

soda didn't really react so we think

that's the least acidic we're going to

test our hypothesis to see if we're

right remember when we showed you how to

use cabbage juice and baking soda to

tell how acidic a chemical is well when

you add baking soda which is a B to run

cabbage juice the red cabbage juice

turns whoops when you add an acid to the

red cabbage juice and baking soda

mixture the mixture turns red like the

plain old red cabbage see so we think

that when we add lemon juice to the

cabbage juice and baking soda the color

should be the reddest because the lemon

juice is the most acidic when we add

vinegar the color should be less red

because the vinegar is less acidic and

when we add orange soda the color should

be the least red because it's the least

acidic let's check it out

okay so so you get the sure cheese

whoops there you go now just dirt you

can stir it around a little bit you want

really really close that is it's a

little bit lighter than hey I don't know

later huh that's really cool that's

funny but that means that shows that

lemon juice is pretty acidic I know okay

so you want your chest open vinegar now

yeah okay you want a whole thing
