hey everybody welcome to the show we're

about to play a game called I never

emailed to us by patency of St Anthony

Idaho

all right all right here's Peyton's

directions

think of something that you've done or

you think somebody else might have done

okay and then write it down on a cart

okay if it slept in till 3 P.M then

you'd write I've never slept until 3 P.M

why it's your worst kind of yeah if

somebody has slept in that late then

they'd raise their hand and if you're

reading the cards and you've slept in

that late you have to raise your hand

all right okay all right I'll go first

I've never eaten a bug

someone tripped me into thinking that if

you eat a worm you get super powers and

you know I was like I was a really

little kid so I was like super powers

yeah I've never thought about mangoes

before going to sleep to prevent

nightmares

more exotic

I've never tried to cut my own hair oh I

didn't think when I was little and it

was all crooked like Jagged teeth or

something I would always have like hair

on the side so I always like try to cut

it yeah after a haircut has just been

done the barber missed like that little

piece right there so I'm trying to like

cut it off and I accidentally cut off

another answer

I've never crashed my bike into a parked

car

I was trying to tape with my car because

my dad was leaving business trip so I

was chasing the car down the street and

also my damn computer I was looking at

him

all right mine I've never gotten gum

stuck in my hair oh

I hate when that happens gum in your

mouth one time like it got stuck like

right at its very end so I just cleaned

it I just don't stuck in my hair and we

tried to get it out with peanut butter

water mayonnaise all the good stuff

until we had to cut it cut it off I've

never caught my teacher mom or dad I

called my girl teacher a dad

I put my teacher grandma once I'm the

only one that didn't call someone

something weird I was in like a thing

called voltage where I had the same

teacher so three years straight no don't

you just seen them for a long time and

then like I think I might have been a

fourth person like hey Mom what's the

answer to this Mom

what's up you can spend one minute with

the president what would you say I would

ask him if he ever got lost in the White

House they'll keep doing anything fun if

he would want to play one-on-one

basketball with me I would tell the

president I have friends who that are

from the United States why can't they

run for president when they get older

about the decisions he makes I'm

probably ask you if I can go swimming in

school and the have some of his money I

would ask the president if his job is

hard and what does he do throughout the

day and I will ask him to take us out to

dinner

the most important thing you're going to

need if you're going to survive on a

deserted island is water but what if you

can't find any water that's clean

Helen G of Cape Coral Florida says that

we can filter clean water from Dirty

Water using materials like gravel

sand and cotton like from this bandana

but before we build our filter we're

going to have to make the dirty water

okay so since we're on a deserted island

I think probably be certain bite

saltwater so you can probably add some

salt

whoa that's a lot of salt I'm gonna sit

around a little okay so how much dirt do

you think we need I think okay

well at least this will really test our

filter to see if it works

all right so how do you think we should

use these materials we should probably

like pile them on top of each other why

don't we test each one of them one for a

bandana one for gravel or any filter

yeah maybe filter all right so let's see

okay we should probably poke holes in

them at the bottom over

apply me

so if you make four holes in each

that'll let the water get through

actually

so that's the last hole so let's cut the

bandana

and then we can put it in the cup

yeah look at that oh it's like clear oh

whoa wow it takes almost completely

clear okay so what should we try next

oh the sand is kind of absorbing the

water I think some of this band also got

down because look at the color it's kind

of tan

it looks kind of like coffee yeah so the

sand got rid of the dirt really well but

it got some of the sand in it too see

the bandana got pretty much both yeah

bandanas but it was kind of close like

and the gravel is really fast so maybe

the gravel catches the big chunks of

dirt so maybe we should put the bandana

at the bottom and then sand sand and

then for that one so okay what if you

want bandanas bandana gravel

all right and gravel yeah

that's good

okay let's review this bandana stand

stand down

I think we're gonna work let's try it

oh almost at the bottom

oh it's gonna come down too yeah

it's pretty good though

kind of looks like um

but

this doesn't yeah but look this one has

less bands yep it doesn't have anything

actually

so why don't we try redesigning these

okay so our old design was bandana band

the bandana gravel and that thing was

because the stands just because I think

it's too close to the bottom yeah so in

the new design we're gonna have bandana

gravel bandana Stanton put the standard

for those up see that

oh and

that looks good okay all right

banana gravel bandana yeah

I just I don't like the fan

oh what if I just didn't use the sand

so what if they just did bandana bandana

okay

still working so far it looks like it's

working

here are the three filters that we just

built so I think that you can definitely

see that the third in our last filter

the water came out to be the clearest

okay but I think that they're all

equally clean it's just that these are

more like yellow because there's sand in

these two and there's not sand this in

the sand got into that water when we

first poured the water into the filter

some of the water molecules got stuck to

the bandana and the gravel and got some

wet once the filter was wet the rest of

the water molecules flip through your

faces in between the bandana and to the

gravel then through the bandana at the

bottom of the filter deer particles are

bigger than water molecules so they got

stuck at the bandana see

can I make new on water filter at home

use the materials you find around the

house once you use the sock instead of a

bandana the different fabric filter

better than others we can see that our

filters remove the dirt but we can't

toggle looking whether it moved itself

so keep watching because later in the

show we'll show you the text you can do

and see if the sauce is gone too

hey guys you know I love to cook

and you know I love to eat too

today I'm at the blue bins restaurant my

family name is I want to make one of my

favorite meals wonton soup but I'm gonna

need a little help bang sure

so ming is an awesome Chef he even has

his own cooking show I love wonton soup

but I have no idea how to make it can

you help me absolutely so easy first of

all you know what wonton wonton actually

is this is Chinese right yeah one twin

in Mandarin it literally means Cloud

swallow so the translation actually to

swallow a cloud so this dumpling is so

light it's like a we're gonna make some

dumplings okay earlier Ming and I went

food shopping at this huge Asian food

grocery store in Boston's Chinatown look

at this place Shanghai yeah

got a couple cats I got the big one I'm

gonna do something really funky too all

right a couple bunch of scallions

there you go all right there's some

ginger over here grab a big can have you

ever seen this before this is called

Lotus fruit did you see that oh my mommy

all right let's get some cabbage this is

called still cabbage or Chinese cabbage

the heck yeah awesome look at all these

other cabbages out there this is garlic

chives great flavor they're awesome they

taste like God very sweet have you ever

seen these Chinese Laundry

and now it's time to go get the ground

pork

in about a pound

and have you seen this much fish look at

all those fish I mean

they got red snapper they got tuna they

got flounder they got skates all right

you hear the wonton wrappers okay yeah

we got nice and thin you ready to go

make some wontons yeah let's go

all right so let's go ahead and actually

I want you to peel this carrot first get

out of field carrot right yeah because

we're going to do carrot and cabbage for

uh the garnish in the soup and ginger

you know right it's one of those yeah

most flavorful Roots at a Chinese

cuisine good food it's very good for you

very good chicken take this out you

k*lled Ginger by these you just spill it

so for the kids that are out there use a

spilled which won't cut you and then to

minced ginger so you're gonna do a

couple of nice long slices like that and

those you stack up

and you do what's called Juliet which is

just really really long and then you

turn it and then that's how you get a

fine mix right we do this you need a

sharp knife you got to make sure you

have uh one of your parents around all

right all right come on

taking any breaks here now this is our

filling all right this is ground pork

yeah we're gonna add some scallions all

right and add a little bit of soy sauce

this is natural Roots soy sauce cool and

the ginger that we just minced up and a

touch of sesame oil and that is the

filling we'll mix this up and this is

what we're gonna make the dumpling with

now let's make some wine tops we'll

drink tea yeah dumpling wrap is super

thick and that's what you use to make

wontons take about a heaping teaspoon

yeah it's plenty then take a magic glue

which is just water put it on two sides

and then you've pulled it out into a

triangle obviously keep the water side

hitting the dry side

yeah that's good

thank you this is not as easy as it

looks you guys steal it see that nice

and sealed all right then a little bit

more water on the corner okay

now here you bring it underneath and

then you stick it all right there you go

yeah and squeeze it

beautiful all right and we're going to

cook this and some chicken stock there

right so this is a lot I don't know

check out that one this is 80 000 BTU

flush very hot in the chicken stock

we're going to cook the wontons and

because it's pork you want to make sure

you cook it at least five to six minutes

all right now the garnish with your

beautiful carrots this is called a

turning Spicer kabuku slice which I love

and what we'll do and the bigger the

carrot the better if you put this thing

in and you turn this spaghetti

well what we're going to do then is add

a little bit of the carrot here and

cabbage to The Wonton and then we're

done beat this up that's so simple is

that amazing so simple we're going to

take the wonton some carrot out it's

okay that the carrots are still somewhat

raw because you want that crunch they're

good to go all right so long it's like

longer than extra spaghetti it is and

better for you now to eat something like

this it's better to just bring it to

your mouth and suck air and as you're

sucking the hot liquid

so you don't burn yourself and even in

Japan they say the more slurping noise

you make that means the better you're

enjoying it now with the wine time be

careful you can kind of stab it and only

bite a little bit because it's going to

be really hot

but good what do you think

I think I might come back here for

dinner one time yeah you should you know

okay bring a hot date or your parents

are both

you know how to make wonton soups and if

what do you call a Fly With No Wings

we took a picture of dirty salty water

and using this filter you got this

it wasn't so far it looks like it's

working

oh

it looks like your filter got rid of

most of the dirt

but what about the

sauce in there and we don't want to

taste it because it's still not

completely clear

so we're gonna use a salt water tester

instead watch this when you put in the

fresh water

nothing happens

when you put in salt water the buzzer

buzzes leaner will tell you why this

works but first here's how to make one

take two popsicle sticks and wrap them

in metal we use aluminum foil then get a

buzzer you can find one at electronic

stores and take the red wire of the

buzzer to the positive end of the

battery the positive end will have a

plus sign on it

okay then you want to take a metal

covered popsicle stick and tape it

through the black wire on the bucket

it's pretty good now take the other foil

covered popsicle stick and tape it to

the negative end of the battery the

negative end will have a minus sign on

it

to test it you can touch the metal

together

this completes the circuit and makes the

buzzer Buzz cool if it doesn't Buzz

check your connections and make sure you

tape everything the right way so the

electricity flows through the battery

then through the metal sticks to the

buzzer and back to the battery and it

just keeps on going around

now to use your salt water tester put

just the tips of the metal into the salt

water

make sure the two metal Parts don't

touch the salt water will act as a wire

connecting the two metal Parts

completing the circuit and making the

bugger buns here's what salt water acts

like an invisible wire when you add salt

to water the salt dissolves and breaks

down to smaller parts called ions means

ions carry the electricity with the

water fresh water doesn't have these

ions so it's a lot harder for

electricity to pass through it doesn't

complete the circuit so the buzzer

doesn't Buzz okay so let's see the salt

water test we just made to see if the

filter we made boots about not only dirt

but the salt as well what do you think

it'll do I don't think that the salt got

filtered out either because it dissolves

so I don't think any of the things would

be small actually any of the holes would

be small enough yeah ready

oh the prediction was right the water is

still salty yeah so I guess if we're on

a deserted island we wouldn't want to

drink it because it's still has a lot of

salt in it yeah make your own water

tester at home what other things besides

salt water do you think will conduct

electricity and make the Buzzy Buzz try

sugar water vinegar or whatever else you

can think of check it out and send

I volunteer by making dishes for food

pantry every few weeks my mom and I said

no this is

what foods are needed there is a big

recipe file from the church kitchen so

we take the one we made go home and get

started I hope by cracking them green

tea and making sure that we cook the

food for the right amount of time after

we finish we take the dish out of the

oven refer to cool down and then lock it

over to the church do you volunteer in
