to choose him over Zach?

- I haven't chosen anything.

Hi, Charlie.

My mom just sent me in
to grab our take-out.

- Do you know what?

I'll go check your order to make
sure, uh, nothing's missing.

- Ha, I'll go make sure
she's not the reason,

uh, something's missing.

- So, I got that
email you sent me,

but I couldn't
open the pictures.

- Oh, I just wanted your
opinion on which pose

would be the best profile

And the last one,
which is a bit unconventional,

So, which one do you like?

- I don't know.

amazing in a different way.

totally giggle-flirting.

She's gonna pick Charlie.

the perfect distraction
from the Zach/Charlie debate.

those old-timey costumes.

We're gonna look so stupid.

We look like the curtains
in my grandma's house.

- [horse whinnying]

you look fantastic.

Now, part of immersing
yourself in the past

is ignoring your
futuristic devices.

If you are caught using a phone,

the Sheriff, that's me,
[chuckling]

be punished 1850s style.

- What if I listen to an mp3,
but it's a pioneer song?

- Ahhh...no.

Movin' on.

Now it's time to assign
the historical roles.

Now since Sawyer
is the spitting image

of our town's brave founder,

and America's premier
tumbleweed painter,

he will play Jonas Silverado.
- Woo! Starrin' role!

- And to play his caring,
devoted wife Abigail, um...

Sophie!
- Yippie ki-yay.

- Oh, who am I?

- Uh, you're Cousin Carol.

Yeah, you took ill with
cholera in the 1840s

and were never
quite the same.

- Oh.

- All right,
the rest of you,

follow me to the blacksmith's.
[claps hands]

- [cell phone vibrates,
text dings]

- Ooh, I got a message
from Charlie.

- Hey, Bella, it was good
running into you yesterday.

Every time that I see you,
I can't stop thinking about you.

So, I was wondering...

will you be my girlfriend?

Okay. Bye-bye.

- OMG--the girlfriend
question.

This is huge!
- It is. It's amazing.

And confusing.
I also like Zach.

What do I do?

- Well, I mean, you might as

- Yep, it's Asha's

and she likes a man
with hair on his chest.

Sadly, this is as close
as I could get.

I'm getting ready
to deliver her present.

- Ooh, what'd you get her?

- A gift card
to the Starcade.

- Ooh, no, no, no.

You can't get
her a gift card.

I mean, on your first date,
you took her out in a limo.

You can't just take
her to some pizza place.

That's a step back.
Don't do that.

- But Asha's not into
that fancy stuff.

And she likes the Starcade.

- I like toast, but I don't
want it for my birthday, man.

For Asha's birthday,

of his 13 children.

I have nine brothers,

[laughs]

Anyway, what's with
the chalkboard?

- I'm making two lists--

reasons I like Charlie,
and reasons I like Zach.

For instance, Zach is super
funny, so point for Zach.

And Charlie tries
to be super funny,

which is actually super sweet,
so point for Charlie.

Oh, I'm never
gonna figure this out.

- Bella, I'm sure you'll
make the right choice.

Now it's time for baby
Jebediah's bath--

in the creek, you know,
as if he's real.

- [neck squeaks]

- Bella?
- Zach, hi.

What are you doing here?

- My school's over in
the barn milking cows.

You know, I always
thought our locker room

was the worst smell
in the world.

Man, was I wrong.

Anyway, I'm supposed to deliver
this cream for butter churning.

- Oh, thanks.
Uh, hey, so...

I just wanted to say
I'm sorry about

what happened at Homecoming.

- No big deal.

You know, you and Charlie
make a great couple.

tumbleweed from memory.

gonna be of my new wife.

Jebediah down for his nap.

[straining, groaning]

- I just saw Zach
and he thinks

Charlie and I
are a perfect couple.

- [deep voice]

some bad advice

and things got
a little out of hand.

a long, hard day

but I don't have to!

the man of the house.

I have some very sad news.

On August 31st, 1850,
Abigail became ill.

with consumption.

So, Jonas tended to her and took
on all the household duties.

- I'll have chicken fingers
and a mango smoothie.

[clears throat]
[deep voice]

I'll have two corn dogs,
a side of curly fries,

sweet potato, not regular,

and we want lots of
hot sauce all up in here.

- Whatever.

- I just love that
deep voice, Newt.

- Oh, don't worry, baby, there's

[laughs]

[high-pitched screaming]
A spider! Asha, get it! Get it!

- ASHA: [smacks spider]

- [clears throat]
