while she was gone the grasshopper

borrowed the trombone but she didn't ask

the ostrich or anything when grasshopper

brought the trombone back the ostrich

was there to greet her oh how listen I

borrowed your trombone I hope it's okay

fine thank you ostrich was really angry

that grasshopper didn't ask to borrow

the trombone but OST didn't say anything

she just kept it to herself and steamed

about it is anything wrong no

everything's fine but everything wasn't

fine ostrich got angrier and angrier and

she refused to talk about it are you

sure nothing's wrong until the ostrich

couldn't hold it in any longer of course

something is wrong you borrowed my

drumbone without asking me it makes me

so mad I never want to talk to you

again well I was going to wait for your

birth C but I'll tell you now I borrowed

your trombone to get you this I wanted

to get through a new case but I had to

borrow the trombone to be sure it's F

there's your last I love it oh I'm sorry

I should have said something I didn't

tell you cuz I wanted it to be a

surprise I was so mad I didn't talk to

you I should have said something listen

next time bothering you talk about it

okay what happened was I played t-ball

yesterday yeah and after the game was

over

yeah I didn't get my ice cream sunday

yeah I said I didn't get my ice cream

sunday uh uh uh that that's awful oh

it that's why you're so down in the

dumps uh maybe getting ice cream after

table is very important to

Jodie everybody has things that are

really special to them even if they're

not so special to anyone

else yeah how about you what's really

important to you that may not be such a

big deal to

others I love it when my mom takes me to

get my nails painted every day at the

basketball camp I go to the park with my

father I really like it when my dad and

I play build little airplanes together

every time I do well on my test my mom

takes me out to

eat I see what you mean I'm sorry Jody I

didn't realize how important ice cream

after te- ball was to you it's not just

the ice

cream there's something

else I just live with my dad cuz my

parents are divorced you all know what

that means right oh yeah sometimes

parents decide not to live with each

other

anymore is that what you feeling bad oh

no no my dad and I have lots of fun

together like during te- ball season

whenever I have a game we always wake up

and have cereal with bananas for

breakfast and then we go to the game

dating I would I would feel happy but I

wouldn't want him to marry her I think

it's just that I don't want to get I

don't want her to get married with that

gentleman some of those kids felt like I

have to tell your dad how you

feel it won't do any good because I mean

what if he does love Debbie more than me

think it's always good to tell your

parents what's on your mind because then

then they know how you feel if you keep

your feelings inside of yourself like

you start to feel bad and like you feel

like your life's a mess when you talk to

parents you feel much more better inside

when I talk about things with my mom and

my dad makes me feel a lot better like I

know more about what's going to happen

between them if you talk with your

parents you'll understand why they

date it's because they want they like

the person that they're dating and it's

not because they don't like you anymore
