Time hi I'm Rachel Coleman co-creator of

signing time when my daughter Leah was

one-year-old we discovered that she was

deaf that same month her cousin Alex was

born we began signing with Leah and

Alex's family started to sign with him

so that he could communicate with his

cousin that was a few years ago since

then we've seen plenty of research on

the benefits of signing with your child

even if they can hear such as a larger

vocabulary higher IQ scores and

virtually eliminating the terrible twos

your child can use a sign instead of a

tantrum it's amazing to watch their

first signs emerge long before they

develop speech American sign language is

a beautiful language signing comes

fun it's exciting to find that your

little one has a lot to tell you you and

that you don't have to wait until they
