Pink Butterfly (2024)

Post by bunniefuu »

This is another Sheffy Productions.

[siren wailing]

[lively music playing]

[woman reporter] The new Inspector

General of police, Haruna Abubakar,

today while briefing the press

in his maiden press briefing,

assured the public of a new police force

that will serve, collaborate,

and protect the people.

A new police force with a new reputation.

Please take a listen to the IG

of police addressing the press.

[IG] And finally, to all my peers

in the various institutions

and parastatals,

I thank you for being here today.

And I assure you that a new day has come.

- What?

- Under my watch, the police force won't be

- seen as just a supporting player anymore.

- I will be right there.

We won't be on the sidelines

waiting to be called

after the action has taken place.

No, not anymore.

This time around, we mean business.

We have a blueprint

that if ex*cuted properly,

will redeem the glorious

reputation of the police force.

[vehicle engine roaring]

[lively music continues]

[car door opens]

[car door closes]

- Hello.

- [man] Good day, ma'am.

Good day.

Who is the officer in charge here?

That would be Corporal Wale.

But since you are here, you are, ma'am.

Okay, open that door for me.

[door opens]

[door closes]

- Good morning, Sergeant.

- [Sergeant] Morning.

What's the situation with the suspect?

The suspect is Akinwale Oshodi,

aka, Rising Money.

We have been on him for two weeks now.

We just intercepted a call on his phone.

We have reason to believe

all the evidence we need is on his laptop.

- May I have that?

- Oh!

- [comical music playing]

- [men giggle]

[man giggles]

[man moaning]

- [woman] Is everything okay?

- [man in Pidgin] Everything is okay.

- [man] Don't worry just Just be strong.

- [woman] Stop stirring me, okay?

[in English] Please,

I can't listen to this anymore.

Is there anything else I should know?

Given how difficult

it has been to track the suspect,

I think we should arrest him now.

Or we might risk

losing him and the laptop.

From the sound of things, this person

isn't going anywhere anytime soon.

What's the ETA on backup?

Fifteen minutes.

Fifteen minutes?

[sighs] I think we should

wait for backup then.

We have the chance now.

[hesitates] I think we should take him.

If backup is supposed to make the

arrest, then we wait for backup.

I will not break protocol

on my watch! Am I clear?

- Copied.

- [Sergeant] Great.

Okay, ma.

[door open, then closes]

[light music playing]

[motorbike engine roaring]

[motorbike hooting]

What part of we are waiting

for backup don't you understand?!

It's ASP Etim.

ASP!

[birds chirping]

Sir!

[ASP] What's the situation

of things there right now?

The suspect is still in the building

but we have reason to believe

he has incriminating

evidence on his laptop.

We are keeping an eye

on him until you get here.

Corporal Wale thinks

backup might not be necessary.

That you can make the arrest immediately.

[scoffs]

Sir, you know we haven't done

a proper sweep of the surroundings yet.

And this neighborhood

is known for being very rough. [tuts]

I'll advise that we just follow protocol

and wait for backup until we move in.

It's your call.

But if you think

here's any form of danger,

then hold on tight till we get there.

But keep an eye on the suspect.

Sir, I am certain that this suspect

is not going anywhere anytime soon.

Very well.

Our ETA is now ten minutes.

Over.

Yes sir.

Wale, you'll come with me while

I do a sweep of the surroundings.

You, keep an eye on the suspect

and make sure he doesn't go anywhere.

Let me know when he's done

with his business. Okay?

- [officer 2] Alright.

- Come with me.

[door opens, closes]

[zips]

[in Pidgin] Hello, Cash Money, what's up?

[tuts] I don't like your tactics.

Where is the money? I've already

This is what always

causes fights between us.

Where is my 50,000 dollars?

Don't give me excuses!

When?

Are you crazy?

- You playing with me?

- Babe.

- Sis, what's up?

- [woman in Pidgin] Babes, what's up?

- Please...

- Can't you see I'm?

- [in Yoruba] What's wrong with you?

- Please.

Get inside! I'm coming! Calm down.

What's wrong with her?

- [door closes]

- [Akinwale tuts]

Hello? I don't like this!

This is total rubbish.

Police!

- [exclaims]

- [apprehensive music playing]

[Akinwale] sh*t! Ah!

- What's happening?

- Oh!

- What's going on? Talk to me.

- [tuts] Oh!

- What's happening?

- Ah! [panting]

Talk to me.

[hasty mumbles]

Where is my money?

[in English] Talk to me,

I'm talking to you.

Where is my money?

- Talk to me. Where is my money?

- [in Pidgin] Calm down, please!

Take!

[apprehensive music continues]

[in English] Police. What room?

What room?!

- [reception lady] Four-one-nine.

- You, man the elevator.

I'll take the back stairs.

- [screaming]

- Don't run!

- [glass clinks]

- [vehicle alarm]

[apprehensive music continues]

Ah!

[yelps]

[music fades]

[phone alarm ringing]

[lively music playing]

[alarm continues]

[exhales]

- [birds chirping]

- [lively music continues]

[shower running]

[microwave alarm chimes]

[door opens]

[door closes]

[lively music fades out]

- Yetunde.

- [huffs mildly]

SP Williams is waiting

for you in the conference room.

Conference room?

Yes.

Now.

[background chatter]

[upbeat music playing]

Is she supposed to...?

Jesus f*cking Christ!

What is...?

[sighs]

[police lady] Yetunde.

Good to have you here.

Please, take a seat.

This is Agent Uche Kalu.

Special Unit.

We will be having a joint investigation.

It's a direct order from the IGP.

Agent Kalu will lead the investigation.

He will give resources and intel.

We will give assistance

and whatever they need.

Over to you, Agent Kalu.

Yetunde. [exhales] The word is,

you are a good detective.

I would like to believe so, sir.

Good.

The target of our investigation

is none other than

the notorious suspected cyber fraudster,

[mid tempo music playing]

Golden Chainz.

His reputation preceeds him.

So much so that my 7-year old daughter

and 75-year old grandmother

knows who this man is.

So does everyone else here.

Yes?

I'm sure you've heard of him.

Um, no.

Anyway, so as I was saying,

Golden Chainz,

suspected cyber fraudster posing

as a businessman and club owner.

Our job is to indict him

and get him locked up.

He has committed cyber fraud

on citizens from over 40 countries.

I am talking exploiting pensioners

and leaving their families in ruins

to destroy young business owners,

to the extent

they've gone on to commit suicide.

While he has lived in lavish,

claiming he's the king of Instagram,

whatever that means.

However,

we do not have enough evidence against him

to actually prove

he committed those crimes.

The Inspector General of police

along with the Interpol

have made him their top priority,

which means it's our responsibility

to make sure we gather

enough evidence against him

to build a case within the next month.

Our objective

is to have an agent go in undercover

and plant a bug on his computer

so we can clone his fraudulent

activities and obtain evidence.

Now, lucky for us,

our man Golden Chainz

has a weakness for beautiful women.

What a surprise.

Especially social media influencers.

This, uh, June Scorpion, Eighth Wonder...

These are some of the social media

influencers we've seen him with.

But what we are actually looking for

is someone unpopular.

Someone with little to no social

media presence so he can't track her.

Someone who can handle herself

in the field in case things get dangerous.

Someone who's smart,

friendly, focused,

and of course, beautiful.

Someone that we can trust to stick

to the plan and not break protocol.

[loud cynical laughter]

[comical music playing]

[sighs]

Wait, me?!

[splutters] I can't... I'm sorry, I can't.

It's not possible, I can't do it.

Yetunde Tejumola.

Twenty-six years old,

a good detective, I'm told.

Very organized, very focused,

no social media presence,

few friends,

and is known to never break protocol.

You are the perfect candidate.

I... I don't know. [splutters]

I don't do make-up.

I don't even wear a dress.

I have never owned a pair of heels.

[splutters] I don't fit this profile.

I can't do it.

Calm yourself.

Listen, all you have to do

is be beautiful and popular

enough to get his attention.

And as far as the hair

and clothes and all...

Well, obviously we'll have

to do a makeover.

And we have the perfect man for that job.

Yes?

Meet Demilade Oguntade.

AKA Anthony Drip.

He will be in charge of your makeover.

In fact, he will be making you

into Pink Butterfly.

He will also assist you

with your social media platform.

He will be your... how do I put it?

Your liaison into the world

of social media influencers.

He will also introduce you to the popular

influencers and so on and so forth.

Furthermore, we have a team

of computer hackers on deck. Yes?

They will be manning your page.

Making sure it's updated,

active and of course, it's believable.

Yes?

I'm sorry! We're just...

We're going to have to find someone else.

I cannot do this.

[hesitates] I don't fit the profile.

Yetunde.

I understand you aspire

to become a special field agent.

Agent Kalu has extended

that invaluable opportunity to you.

You have two choices.

One, take it

prove your capability.

Or spend the rest of your policing life

doing administrative duties, in Sapele.

Choose wisely.

Okay.

I'll... I'll do it.

[Agent Kalu] Excellent.

I believe you all remember

your assigned duties.

Because we will be beginning

the operation immediately.

SP Williams, please bring

Yetunde and Anthony Drip up to date

and make sure they

have everything they need.

[SP Williams] Yes, I'll have

to introduce them both.

Sure.

Tell him to come in.

[light music playing]

[door opens]

[door closes]

Drip, this is Yetunde.

Yetunde, that's Drip.

He'll be doing your makeover.

Alright.

Let's get straight to work.

According to Golden Chainz's

most recent Instagram post,

he'll be having a party

at his club in a weeks time.

Anthony Drip, I will need

Yetunde prepped

and ready as Pink Butterfly.

As we intend

to make contact at that event.

Any questions?

- No.

- No, sir.

Very well.

We will reconvene here a week

from now, on the day of the party.

SP Williams, please make sure

these two have everything they need.

To make sure that day

is believable and good.

- Copy that.

- Alright.

Let's get to it.

- Easy.

- Mm-hmm.

- I'm going to let go very soon.

- Mm-hmm.

- Head up, chin up.

- Okay.

- [Drip] Easy.

- I'm taking my time.

Put your hand on your waist.

Why is it in the air?

- [sighs] Okay, sorry.

- Okay.

Chin up! I'm letting go very soon.

Ah! No, don't let me go!

- Alright. I'm here. Calm down.

- Don't leave me alone. Okay.

Easy. Why is your leg shaking like that?

Because it's painful.

How do people stand on these sticks?

What is "stick"?

[in English] So there is certain social

media lingo that you need to know.

Alright, and

We'll start with... Are you ready?

- [exhales]

- "Tee."

Oh, I know that.

I drink tea every morning.

I'm actually a tea person.

- I like hibiscus.

- [comical music plays]

On some days,

I like moringa, but mostly hibiscus.

Okay. [sighs]

Nice.

- Let's move on. Right?

- Okay.

So the next one is...

That's it. I'm letting go now.

- Ah, Okay. Don't leave me alone!

- Okay, so...

- Stop looking. Okay.

- Don't leave me alone. Okay.

On period.

Like that's on period.

- On period.

- Yeah.

Ah, I don't know.

Isn't it a little rude to go

about announcing my period?

[in Pidgin] I don't know about that.

Going around telling everyone

it's the time of the month

even when I'm not on my period?!

[mumbling] Mmh.

I'm sorry I'm not comfortable

with that. What's the next one?

[in English] Oh, Lord!

That's not what it means.

- You know what? Let's just focus. Right?

- Alright. Okay.

[afro music plays]

So, this one is called, "Lit."

[sighs] I'm scared to say something.

- Why?

- Because I don't...

Your reaction to the last

two things I've said

- I don't know what to...

- No, go ahead.

[in Pidgin] It's to light

something on fire, right?

- How does it...

- [in English] Is there another meaning?

Why would you...?!

- [Drip whispers] What do you mean?

- It's okay.

[afro music continues]

[Yetunde screams loudly]

Yo! It's your boy, Golden Chainz!

You know how I do.

When you bling,

don't let it waste, let it show.

So you gotta pull up to Club Golden.

'Cause we doing it as usual, man.

You're getting the best

of the best, you know how I do it.

We stay bling-bling.

Gotta show that.

"Turn up! Turn up!" Golden says.

Gimme the bling-bling!

- Put your other hand on your waist.

- Okay.

Chin up, smile.

- There you go.

- [Yetunde giggles]

- Why is this hand hanging in the air?

- Okay.

Nice! Ooh!

You did a 180.

Nice, okay.

- Oh! Sorry.

- Easy! Must you spoil it? Huh?

[in Pidgin] Aren't you a woman?

Stand, then go.

[afro music continues]

[upbeat Nigerian hiphop music fades out]

[comical music playing]

- [in English] Careful.

- Mmh.

- Hey babe, one step at a time.

- Mmh.

- One step at... Are you okay?

- [Yetunde] Yes. I'm fine. [giggles]

- Breathe, breathe.

- [Yetunde heaving]

Chin up. Easy.

Ow! [grunts]

- [Yetunde heaving]

- [door opens]

Sorry. Excuse me, please.

[crickets chirping]

What's the problem?

I can't do this anymore.

[stutters] It's just too much to handle.

How do I convince anyone

that I'm an influencer,

when I can't even convince myself?

Listen Yetunde,

I don't know what your situation is

but I don't have a choice.

It's either I cooperate

with the police or I go to jail.

But you have a better choice,

and I'm sure there's a reason

you took up this case in the first place.

Eh? And please don't tell me

it's because you

didn't want to seat behind

a desk for the rest of your career.

I took this job so I could

prove my colleagues wrong.

[soft music playing]

They all think

I'm a stuck-up goody-two-shoes.

They don't respect me or give me

the same recognition they give themselves.

And they think I'm socially awkward.

And so what?

You want to quit because

of what your colleagues are saying?

I hate to break it to you,

but you'll not get the respect

or recognition you

are you looking for by quitting.

Heck, you'd be confirming

what they are saying.

And still won't get

the respect you deserve.

- So what do you want me to do?

- I need you to

I need you to solve this case,

no matter how difficult it might look.

No matter how long it takes.

Okay, seize the opportunity.

Okay, don't care what anybody has to say.

Listen.

You are not Pink Butterfly.

Pink Butterfly is you.

And you can do whatever you want

as long as you set your mind to it.

You know what?

You're right.

If I quit now, I'm only

going to make things worse.

And I will not amount to anything.

And I cannot let that happen.

[in Pidgin] Now you are talking.

And you've been acting silly.

If we have a party to attend

and you have to look sharp.

Get up, let's go.

Stand up! Must I beg you for everything?

Time is running.

[hip hop music playing]

[in English] Okay...

You did a 360. [laughing] I love it.

I'll do it again.

[Drip] I'm impressed! I like.

I love it.

Yes, queen!

Okay.

She's using her hands.

- What?!

- [laughs]

I'll be here for it.

I loved it.

- [hip hop music continues]

- [camera clicks]

[vehicle engine revving]

[indistinct chatter]

[Yetunde] Wait. Can we not take the back?

Listen, relax!

You've got this. What is it?

[in Pidgin] I've not got anything.

Hope we're not taking pictures.

[in English] How can you come

to an event like this

and not take pictures?

I have no time for that.

I have to finish my job.

The same job that needs you

to masquerade as an influencer.

Your point?...

My point is no real influencer passes up

on an opportunity to be in the media.

- Relax. Come on.

- [Yetunde grumbles]

Hey, hi. [laughs]

- Hi

- What's up with you? How are you doing?

- It's been a minute! You look nice.

- Yo, man!

- [Drip] Look at you! You look nice.

- Missed you so, bro.

- Cleaned up nice! Yeah.

- Guy, what's happening?

Okay, let's... Hey!

If it's not my guy, Tony!

My man! Brian, what's up?

How are you doing?

- Very well. You look great, man.

- I mean as always.

- You look nice as well.

- Thank you very much.

I'd like to introduce

you guys. So this is...

- Jessica, right?

- Yes. [giggles]

- Jessica! You look stunning.

- Hi.

[giggles]Thank you.

Wow! Your pictures

don't do you justice enough.

[all laugh]

Bayo, thank you.

That's enough.

- Bro, what's the matter?

- No problem.

I'm just being friendly

to the pretty lady.

I can see that.

We'll see inside.

- Are you going to do me like that?

- I've got you.

- You going to do me like that?

- Go inside.

- [Drip laughs] Go inside. Hmm.

- It's alright.

- I'll see youI'll see you around.

- Okay. Alright. Thank you.

- [Bayo] Beautiful!

- [Drip and Yetunde laugh]

- What was that about?

- I thought you had no time.

- I was just being nice.

- Really.

[in Pidgin] Now that you've seen

a fine guy, you've become a working girl.

[laughs] That will do. This way.

- Okay.

- Go on, go on!

[background chatter]

[Yetunde] Wow.

This music is too loud!

[in English] People don't have meetings

here. Okay? So calm down.

[tuts] Very funny.

Where are your people?

We don't do that at the VIP.

- Stop being annoying. Just go on.

- [Yetunde] Okay. Fine.

'Cause these heels

are k*lling me and I need to sit down.

Very quickly.

[background club music and chatter]

[Drip] That's my baby.

You got it? [mumbles]

- Hey, my babies!

- [woman excited] Hey Drip!

- Hey, my sis!

- [woman squeals excitedly]

- Ooh, you smell nice.

- Oh, thank you.

The Drip is back!

He is back! Look at you, dumb blonde!

- [Drip] How are you doing?

- I'm good.

[repeatedly] Sit.

- What are we drinking? Champagne?

- Of course.

I see the boobies are out tonight!

- I'm showing some cleavage as well.

- Mmh. I love...

- I like that.

- So let me to introduce you ladies.

Jessica, this is the very interesting

Tomi Dumb-Blonde.

She's nice like that.

- And of course the gorgeous...

- Mmh!

- Amazing Sarah!

- Mmh.

- Hi!

- [Sarah] Hi.

It's good to see you guys.

- So what's been going on?

- SoYou, where have you been?

Girl, if I told you...

- [Sarah] Okay.

- you wouldn't believe me.

- Tell me.

- [Drip] Very interesting

I want to hear everything.

- Golden Chainz is at that table.

- [Yetunde] Huh?

- Golden Chainz is at that table.

- [Yetunde]Uh. Yes.Oh.

[Yetunde] Ooh.

- I love your wig.

- Uh! [giggles]

[club music playing]

- [Yetunde] Mmh?

- You look so good.

- [giggles]

- [giggles] Yeah.

Rosco. That girl with Tony Drip.

I think I know her from somewhere man.

Yeah. That's that Pink Butterfly girl.

I can't remember her name,

but I started following

her on IG last week.

Oh yeah! Mmh-mmh-mmh! Bro.

[singing] She golden

Mmh! She bling-bling

She got me thinking

[in Pidgin] Which girl is that?

[in Pidgin] Get out of here.

You like women too much.

[laughs]

He that has eyes, let him see.

I'm not blind.

True, true. Brother ain't blind.

Know what I'm saying! Brother ain't blind.

I ain't blind, bro.

And neither am I! I ain't blind. [giggles]

Chill, babes.

Let's try something, you know.

Let's go golden.

[in Pidgin] My guy

is about to get crazy. [laughs]

- [in English] Let's do something, brother.

- [laughs]

Can you at least drink something?

- I'm working. [tuts]

- Jesus.

You need to loosen up.

You are too serious.

We are in a club, God damn it.

I just want to do my job

and get back to my life.

- [club music continues]

- [exhales]

Well, here's your chance, I guess.

- Tony!

- My man!

- [Golden Chainz] What it do?!

- You alright?

- Good.

- Mmh-mmh-mmh!

I don't eat your money anymore.

- You don't buy my clothes.

- Bro man,

on my last trip to Milan,

I over spoiled myself man.

I shopped till I dropped.

I can see! Designer everything.

You know how I do, I stay golden.

Everything bling-bling,

know what I'm saying.

- [Drip] It is what it is.

- [Golden Chainz] Ha ha!

- Ladies!

- Hi!

Are you all enjoying yourselves?

- Definitely.

- Yes, we are.

- [Golden Chainz] Oh, ladies.

- [ladies giggling] Yep!

And you, pretty lady?

- Are you enjoying yourself?

- Yes, I am.

Mmh. That's good.

You know how I do.

- Stay Golden!

- [ladies] Ah! Eeeh!

Stay bling-bling! [laughs]

Mmh! Pretty lady.

You looking at me

like you don't know who I is.

I go by the name Golden Chainz.

Excuse me?

- [snaps fingers]

- [music continues playing]

- [Tomi] Wow! Okay!

- [Sarah squeals] Yes! I like.

I stay golden.

I'm all about the bling-bling, baby.

I make things happen.

[laughs] What's your pretty name?

I'm Jessica.

Jessica.

Now that sounds golden.

Mmh-mmh-mmh!

Stay blinging, baby.

Stay golden.

Thank you.

- Tony!

- My man!

- Be seeing you.

- I'll see you around.

Stay bling-bling.

Catch ya.

- [happy squeals]

- I like it.

[thrilling club music playing]

[both laughing]

What?

- Yeah! That reminds me.

- Mmh!

I need to introduce you to someone.

Who?

An agent.

He will give you some influencing gigs,

and put you in the same circle

of really sexy influencers.

Why?

What do you mean, why?

I mean, if you are a bit

out there in an organic way,

You know and doing things

like collaborating

- with other influencers,

- Uhm.

Then, he just might notice you.

Huh!

Yeah?

Let's do it.

- Great. Cheers. [laughs]

- Yeah. [giggles]

Oh! You guys are in luck.

You know there is a popular

photoshoot tomorrow by a very big brand.

They would love to work with

a beautiful influencer like you.

Uh. Although a list has been made,

but, there is a way

we can still go around that.

Someone could fall sick

and we just slot you in

and then we will make the magic happen.

Okay. [laughs] That can be arranged.

Listen, we understand

that nothing goes for nothing so

how much exactly are we talking about?

Um...

I'm not saying I don't want money.

Money is good but uh,

it's something beyond money.

[spluttering] So what exactly

are we talking about?

Uh...

Something more sexy and softer, you know.

- You know what I'm talking about.

- [Yetunde giggles]

I see him.

You are the hands

on type of guy, aren't you?

- Mmh?

- What do you mean?

[man screaming]

- You should put some ice on it.

- Get out! [groans]

[man] Ifunaya, please step to the left.

[clicking camera]

Kim, please step forward.

Beautiful.

Yeah, like this.

Thank you.

Can I have Ifunaya alone on set?

Thank you. Yes.

Nice.

A bit to the left.

Chin up. Chin up.

[Kimberly] Hello, Tribe members!

Kimberly, your number one baby girl here.

And just like you imagined,

the sh**t is going on so well.

I mean, it's Akin.

And Akin is a genius.

As you can see.

And also, I made a friend today.

I think you should meet her.

No. scratch that.

You have to meet Jessica.

I mean I just met her today, and it

feels like I've known her my whole life.

We're practically sisters.

- Hey, Jessica.

- [Yetunde spits in surprise]

Oh, sorry darling.

- Jessica, say hi. [laughs]

- Hello.

Yes guys, so that's about it.

I'm going to keep you updated. [kisses]

That's an invasion of privacy.

Is she aware that I can arrest her?

Arrest who?

And SP Williams will sack you.

[grunts]

I can't wait to be done with this job.

I would have made good progress yesterday,

if someone's friend wasn't busy

throwing herself at Golden Chainz.

Hello? Uh,

I noticed you have not

followed me on Instagram yet

and I'll be posting my real video soon.

- How about you be a darling

- [Yetunde giggles]

And follow me before I post it.

- @Kimberly.

- Uh.

Thank you. Such a darling.

- You know you should do that right now.

- What?

- Follow her? Now?! [sneers]

- [phone buzzing]

I mean, she's going

to post the video very soon.

And besides,

you guys are "practically sisters."

- You are not serious.

- [phone continues buzzing]

[laughs]

I have clients to attend to. I'm coming.

- Hello?

- [mockingly] Hello?

[exhales]

[melodious music playing]

Yo, it's your boy, Golden Chainz,

know what I'm saying.

Preparing for the party out here.

Those of you

who got the invite, get ready.

Because you know how I do

what I do when I do what I do.

Know what I'm saying?

You got the Chainz, you've got me!

Blings of the bling-bling

'cause we stay golden, y'all.

That's it, that's it bro.

- That's is.

- That's it, let's roll it.

- That's it, man.

- Post it for me.

That's it, man.

- Uh-huhn! Uh-huhn!

- You see?

Oh, Curner, you k*lled it.

- Golden! Golden!

- This is bling, man! This stays golden.

- It's bling-bling, man. Nice, man.

- Oh!

Ooh.

Wow!

Mmh.

She golden.

She golden.

[upbeat music playing]

Yes! Tony! [chuckles]

Tony!

Hmm.

So it's either going

to be the purple dress

or the red night dress.

Some people are bold.

Look at the type of messages

people have been sending.

Look, and this one is saying,

I should let him know what it would take

for him to spend the whole day with me.

Another one is asking me

for my account details

that he would surprise me.

- Account details?

- Yes.

[in Pidgin] Send him your account details.

Don't you want to be surprised?

[huffs][in English] It's okay.

The message already did that. [giggles]

[in Pidgin] What you are running from,

others are searching for.

[exhales] Let them enjoy it, please.

- [in English] Okay...

- So which is calling unto thee?

Can you just pick one

so I can be done

with this as soon as possible?

You want me to choose for you?

Please, can you just pick something?

Okay uh

We'll go with any of these.

Okay. Alright, thanks.

Alright.

Do you mind showing skin?

Just a little cleavage? Just

Uh. Okay, sorry.

- No?

- [hangers clanging]

- [vehicles hooting]

- [music playing]

- [indistinct chatter]

- [club music playing in background]

[loud club music playing]

- Are you still occupied?

- I might as well not be here.

[Drip] Hm.

You know you should be doing

that if you want him to notice you.

Uh, yeah!

That's not happening.

So how do you intend

to complete your assignment?

Argh! Okay.

I don't have too many choices,

but I'm already in Golden Chainz's house.

What if I look around

to see if I can find the laptop?

[laughs] Like he's just going

to leave the laptop lying around.

Look, I know that.

But it could be in his bedroom.

Yetunde, stop. Uh uh!

Which bedroom?

You want to go and search his bedroom?

Calm down.

See, I can't come with you,

because if you are catch you [splutters]

They can't catch me.

I'm a police officer, remember?

And besides, you'll be on the lookout

for me in case anyone is coming.

Me?

Yes, so you hold.

And stop being dramatic. [tuts]

- [hesitating] Wait... Yetunde... Come!

- [Yetunde] Shh!

[tuts] Come now

[Drip's indistinct chatter

in Yetunde's earpiece]

I refuse to take part in this.

[Yetunde] I told you already.

Do you realize

what will happen if you get caught?

I'm not going to get caught.

Chill.

[suspenceful music playing]

- [Yetunde gasps]

- Yetunde! Yetunde, what's going on?!

[man panting]

[man grunts]

[both panting]

- I'm undercover. Special unit.

- What?!

[stutters] What's going on?

Special unit? What's that?!

- I know you are undercover too.

- Why should I believe you?

You are Yetunde Tejumola.

You are part of the joint task force

set up to indict Golden Chainz.

[Drip] Yetunde? Yetunde?

Anthony Drip is on the other end.

[Drip] If what he says is true,

then I'm bailing.

If what you are saying is true,

why did you stop me from doing my job?

[door opens]

There's a camera there. [exhales]

and a silent alarm.

I couldn't let you blow this case.

I was not going to blow it.

- Sir, she's going to blow this case.

- I am not going to blow this case.

And why was I not informed

that there was another agent in the field?

We didn't think that was necessary.

Agent Johnson Okoro

here has been undercover for over a year.

He was able to infiltrate

the cyber crime community as a fixer.

He provides safety accounts

for them to put their money.

That is the service he's providing

to Golden Chainz in this deal.

And he has been on this matter long

before the task force was formed.

We are working

with the information he's providing.

So on this one,

he's going to be your commanding officer.

What?!

That will be all.

- Alright.

- [Yetunde] Yes boss.

You two get back to work.

Look, I've been working

on this case for a long time.

You should let me help you.

As my commanding officer.

[exhales]

Let's look at the big picture.

Okay. Let's look at it.

We all want to play our part

in making this indictment happen.

Even if I provide

the account for the transfers,

we still can't arrest him

because we can't tie him to the transfer.

Okay.

And then?

We'll need to put the software

on his phone before the deal happens.

That's the only way

to get the information we need.

What I'm trying to say

is that we need

each other to make this work.

From where I am standing,

it seems like you need me

more to make this work.

What do I need you for?

To help you get him

to be interested in you.

Because clearly

that's not your area of expertise.

Look, Johnston...

- It's Johnson.

- Whatever.

I have everything under control.

- Okay?

- Do you?

Because it clearly looks like he's

more interested in the other girls.

[tense music plays]

[exhales]

The only way to get close enough

to him is to play the part.

You can't go sneaking

around trying to find the laptop.

I've tried it, I've tried it all.

He's covered all the angles.

The quickest way

is to exploit his weakness.

I don't understand.

Are you saying I should go shaking

my bum for him like the other girls?

- Just be more flexible.

- [comical music playing]

Are you saying I'm stiff?

[huffs]

[comical music intensifies and halts]

Hey.

Hey, you.

So apparently, somebody

decided not to show

for brunch and thought to not call me.

I'm sorry about that.

Are you having new boyfriend troubles?

What boyfriend?

[sighs]

It's just, for this whole thing to work,

I have to become someone I'm not.

I just want things to go back to normal.

Or maybe I should just quit.

This is not where I thought

I would be in my career.

[Drip laughs]

Quit? Girl, please.

You and I know

that you aren't going to quit.

You're not the type. Okay?

So suck it up,

we have work to do by the way.

And I need to get you

in the perfect swimsuit

for the pool party.

- So let's go.

- Swim what?!

Just wear a bikini

that reveals everything.

[upbeat music playing]

Mmh-mmh!

[Drip huffs] Nope.

I'm tired.

Girl, bye.

What? Come on out.

[upbeat music playing]

Come out!

Okay, let me see. Spin.

Girl, you look nice.

I mean, you're really looking nice.

- I like it.

- Thank you.

[upbeat music continues]

- [Yetunde humming]

- [crowd background chatter]

[upbeat music playing in the background]

Okay admit it,

you enjoy this, even if it's a little.

Hm! It was okay.

It was okay. [sniffs]

I mean, you see, being

an influencer is not such a bad thing.

Why are you not drinking though?

Argh! Anthony, not that again.

Listen girl, please drink a little.

Please.

And by the way,

your man is drinking.

So why not drink?

He's not my boyfriend!

[chuckles]

And besides, he's deep undercover.

He has to blend in.

Who told you I was talking about Johnson?

I didn't mention anybody's names so...

- Anthony, you are so annoying. [laughs]

- [laughs]

- Come on, drink.

- No, please.

Drink.

[exhales] I'm working.

What's up, my bro?

- [man] Gotcha!

- What's popping?

Stay golden, man. Stay bling-bling.

[in Pidgin] I think

I need to get in that pool. [laughs]

- [Chainz] I know, right?

- [giggles]

That Jessica girl

is not looking bad today.

That's sick.

[keypad typing]

[phone buzzes]

- [in English] That was Johnson.

- And?

Where are these waiters

when you need them?

I'm out of booze.

He's not making any progress on his end.

[upbeat music continues]

- What are you doing?

- Playing the part.

I'm going to place

an order for the drinks.

[pop music playing]

Hello. How are you doing?

Please can I have a bottle

of champagne for my table?

[waiter] Okay. I'll bring it right away.

- Put that on my tab, man.

- [waiter] Alright.

- Thanks.

- You're welcome, baby.

That's what we do, make things happen.

That's how we stay golden,

That's how we stay bling-bling, baby.

- [chuckles]

- Mmh-hmm.

So, I missed you at my party.

I mean, you had your hands full.

Didn't you?

- Yeah, guilty.

- [sly chuckle]

So, [clears throat]

What do you say

I make it up to you

tomorrow at my club, baby?

Only if you promise me that I get

to spend some alone time with you.

- Baby, you have it now.

- Mm-mmh!

But I can tell you that you're gonna

have my undivided attention.

- [hearty laugh]

- Mmmh!

Sure! Then it's a date.

- Okay, baby! That's golden.

- Yeah.

- Yeah.

- That's bling-bling.

So could you put it on his bill?

- Thank you.

- Yeah. Send it over to her, okay?

Don't keep a baby waiting.

Stay golden, baby.

Stay bling-bling.

Damn!

[lively music playing]

Big G has confirmed

we are going to receive the transfer.

[match strike]

I hope everything is ready.

We don't want any stories.

No issues.

[in Pidgin] It's alright

on my end. Don't worry.

[in English] Your account is covered.

We've got you, bro.

We stay golden.

We stay bling-bling. No worries.

As long as everything

runs smoothly, we're good to go.

We'll be seeing you tonight?

Yeah. I'll come through around midnight.

It's all good, bro.

It's all good. Stay golden, bro.

- Alright, guys.

- Yeah.

[door opens and closes]

Bling-bling.

- [ominous music playing]

- [door closes]

Okay.

We need to make sure.

We're very careful.

[door closes]

This money we are moving

cannot be traced back to us.

[in Pidgin] I've covered that.

See, Big G can never suspect us.

- Don't worry.

- Because we don't know his plans.

[in English] We can't afford

to get into anything messy.

I feel you.

Stay golden.

- We stay bling-bling.

- Bling-bling!

You're sure it was

the World Airbook you saw.

Hundred percent.

Okay. I'll go and modify

the bug we'll use to unlock it.

- Well done. Yeah.

- Thank you.

- [door opens and closes]

- What are you doing?

[Yetunde] This guy.

Why is no one looking into him?

Our target is Golden Chainz.

You should focus on that.

- [door opens and closes]

- [ominous music plays]

[mockingly] You should focus on that.

[hisses]

[line ringing]

Chidi Ojieh's office?

Yetunde Tejumola

calling from the Ikoyi precinct.

Okay. Yeah, I'll hold.

Hi, Chidi, how are you?

I'm great.

How's the NDLEA?

Lovely. Okay, please, quick one.

So I have a case I'm currently working on

and can't get any info on the suspect.

I was wondering. Could you please

just help me run it through your

database and see if you can find anything?

Okay.

Yes, I'll do that right away.

All right. Thank you.

Okay, Yeah have a good day. Bye.

Who are you?

- So that's what it is, you see.

- Nice.

It must be really amazing

owning your own night club.

Yeah you know, it's all bling-bling.

People come to work during the day.

But, [laughs] Golden Chainz, I

just show up at night and do my thing.

Wow! So you have a real office here,

- don't you?

- Yeah baby.

It's bling bling,

just like me. [hisses] Ow!

As I was thinking.

Can you take me to your real office?

- Sure baby.

- Yeah.

I've got you.

Bling-Bling's got this, bro.

I've got this. [laughs]

[in Pidgin] Guy! Guy!

- What's the matter?

- [hisses]

- What did he say happened?

- Ah ah!

[in English] Wow! Oh wow!

Look at that design.

- Yes. It's from Italy.

- [squeals]

- Interesting.

- I stay bling-bling, baby.

- Do you?

- I stay golden.

- [Yetunde laughs]

- I love good designs.

- Mm-hmm!

- I love sweet designs.

[squeals] You even have a bar!

Wow! Oh! In your office?!

- [Yetunde] Nice.

- That's how I roll, baby. Like I said,

- [awes]

- I stay bling-bling.

[door slams]

- [ominous music playing]

- [door slams]

Is it time?

Just give me a couple of minutes

downstairs, I'll be with you, baby.

Okay, no problem.

- Stay golden.

- Yeah.

- Stay bling-bling, darling.

- Yeah

[door slams]

[tense music plays]

[tense music fades]

The commisioner wants

this case successfully wrapped up

before the IGP's next conference

which is in seven days.

And the deal is going down in five days.

That gives us four days to install the

software on his laptop.

Which means you have two days.

But you just said I had four days.

You didn't really think

we'd wait till the last minute

before trying something else, did you?

Our team is already coming up

with a contingency plan.

So one way or the other,

Golden Chainz is going down.

Oh, by the way,

Mr. Drip's part in this case is over.

- What?!

- Excuse you!

I'm sorry, boss.

His job was to make sure Golden Chainz

has interest in you, and he has.

Why should we keep him?

- But...

- Listen to me now, Yetunde.

The commisioner is breathing down my neck.

The new IGP

is shaking up things really bad.

If you are taken off this case,

I can no longer guarantee your field work.

[pensive music playing]

[door opens and closes]

Thank you.

What do you have against desk duty?

[sighs]

When I was a child, my father

was in the Special Armed Forces.

He broke protocol during a mission

trying to save a team member

and got injured while on the mission.

He had to be assigned a desk job.

And my father loved the field.

It made him happy.

Or maybe my mother dying

during my birth

had something to do with it.

[wistful music playing]

I'm sorry about that.

All I heard every single day

until my father died

was how miserable

he was because of his injury.

That must have been terrible.

Uh, yeah. [sighs]

You find a way to cope with these things.

Listen.

I don't have anything against desk jobs.

I just don't want

to be as miserable as my father.

If I do get assigned a desk job,

I want it to be my choice.

Yetunde, you are not your father.

[Yetunde sighs]

Plus we still have two days.

We can't give up now.

You really think we can pull this off?

I think I misjudged you

when you came in bold.

You have everything it takes.

With your help,

we can actually close this case.

[wistful music continues]

Thank you for saying that.

So, what do you say?

Let's go finish this.

[exhales]

[auspicious music plays]

[laughs] You guys are in trouble.

You know what I'm saying?

Hope you got your transport fare saved up.

- [Chainz whoops]

- [background club music playing]

Let's see. [laughs]

[in Pidgin] My purse never gets exhausted.

[scoffs]

Ah! Are you sure you shuffled these cards?

[in English] Why does it feel like

I'm playing against my village people?

Moscow,

this better be good.

Um, [clears throat] baby,

I'm going to use the restroom.

- Okay.

- Make sure you win before I get back,

or not I'm going to have

to find another sugar baby.

- Mmh! I gotcha, baby. Go bling-bling.

- Yeah.

[both blowing kisses]

- [Yetunde giggling]

- [gasing up sounds]

[in Pidgin] That's your girl.

- That's your baby.

- Bling-bling, baby, know what I'm saying.

Let me put some gold up in 'em mine.

[all excited]

[music fades]

[club music continues]

[drawer opens]

[comical music playing]

[typing]

[beeping sound]

[club music continues]

[in English] Hold it! Hold it!

It's about to get golden. Bling-bling.

Last card... Check up!

Bling-bling, baby! Show me the money!

[Chainz cakles] The bling-bling.

No. It's for the golden girl, man.

Let's keep it golden, bling-bling.

- Bling-bling. Mm-hmm.

- Just go on.

- Ah, let's play another round.

- [Chainz laughs] Sure.

I need to make

a phone call somewhere quiet.

Use my office, man. You're free.

Go ahead. You're free.

Just one more round.

[club music playing]

[Chainz] Alright, Canada.

[sing song] Yeah, man.

Let me get your money.

[indistinct singing]

[phone buzzes]

[tense music playing]

Come on, come on, come on!

[Chainz] This round is golden.

It's all golden.

[eerie music continues]

- Hey, sweetie. You good. Alright.

- [chuckles] Mh-hmm. Yeah.

I thought we had him.

I had to get out.

A second more and

I'd have been discovered.

We have to come up

with something by tomorrow.

Tomorrow!

What about tonight?

I have to meet Golden Chainz.

I don't want him getting suspicious

this close to the transfer.

I have to leave. Good night.

- [door opens]

- [crickets chirping]

- [door closes]

- Yetunde.

You were great tonight.

We'll finish the job tomorrow.

[sentimental music plays]

[vehicle engine starts]

[phone buzzes]

[knocking at the door]

Is everything okay?

What happened to you?

I don't know what they put in my drink.

I think it's molly.

Johnson.

Are you high?

I'm sorry.

I just...

it's just this feeling.

I just feel like expressing myself.

Mmh!

I'll just sleep for a few hours.

Johnson!

Johnson! Wake up! We have a job to do.

Why did you let them drug you?

Wake up!

I didn't know

they put anything in my drink.

[sighs]

[sighs] You didn't know

they put something in your drink.

That's it!

Johnson! Johnson! Wake up!

Oh, hi.

Yeah I... I got your message.

- Okay.

- Uh, One minute please.

Let me look at it, yes!

This will knock him out in a few minutes.

It takes just five minutes

to start working.

So make sure you pick your timing wisely.

And it's tasteless?

And odorless.

He won't know anything hit him.

- Thanks.

- Mmh.

Uh A note of warning.

Make sure you give him just a drop.

A single drop!

What happens if I use more than a drop?

Then prepare to start changing the diapers

of a hibernating bear

for the next few months.

Thanks.

You're welcome.

[line ringing]

[phone buzzing]

Finally! You're alive.

- Where are you?

- [Yetunde] At the club.

I have a plan that I think will work.

- Alone?

- [Yetunda] Yes.

[sighs] But that's not a good idea.

Wait for me,

let me freshen up and I'll meet you.

What's the plan?

I told him I'm going

to finally have sex with him tonight.

What?! [clears throat]

- What?

- I told him I will have sex

with him tonight.

[phone beeps]

sh*t.

Yeah.

That's how we're chilling. We're golden.

- You know we're bad here.

- Cheers.

Yo, man. 'Cause it's us.

You know how I roll, man.

- It's golden, bling-bling.

- I swear, I make happen.

- I swear, I swear.

- [Chainz] Nothing happening.

- Yeah. You don't know what I represent?

- Nothing happening. [laughs]

- You know I'm bad. You know me, sh*t.

- But you know me.

- Golden, man. Bling-bling.

- I swear, Golden boy. [laughs]

- [Chainz indistinct chatters]

- [coughing]

- You're okay, baby?

- Yeah, I'm fine.

- I'm okay. I'm having fun.

- [chuckles] Uh?

- Remember to save some for later on.

- Yeah.

- Stay bling-bling, know what I'm saying.

- Yeah. [laughs]

Mmh! [chuckles]

[Chainz] Tell me about this deal.

Is my cut still the ten percent?

This stuff, I swear. Are we doing it?

- Mmh?

- This is sure, man.

[Chainz laughs]

Let them hook me up, man.

They can hook me up.

- You can say that again.

- Man, that's us. I'm clear about it.

- And this is golden, know what I'm saying.

- [Yetunde moans]

- Baby.

- Yeah, baby.

So I'm thinking we can

take all the fun upstairs.

- Oh really?

- Yeah.

Mmh-mmh-mmh!

Just give me five minutes

to quickly wrap up something here.

- Okay.

- I'll come meet you, yeah.

So, I'll just go and

freshen up and wait for you.

- That's good. You stay bling-bling, baby.

- Mh

- Stay bling-bling for Golden. Oh, yeah.

- Mmh. Yeah.

- Yes, papi. Okay.

- I'm gonna give you some Golden.

[Chainz whoops]

Hey. Wrap this up real quick.

Four minutes, baby. Look.

[tense music playing]

[line ringing]

- [door closes]

- [Yetunde moans]

- [Chainz] Baby, baby.

- Mmh.

- You're golden. You're bling-bling, babe.

- [laughs] Yeah.

- Mmh

- [chuckles]

So, you know what?

Yeah, it's about to get golden up in here.

- Mmh-mmh-mmh.Yeah.

- Mmh. Yeah.

So I'm feeling a little light headed.

And I was just thinking

maybe we could take

this back to your crib.

Uh, you're getting

a brother confused. You know...

You told Golden you wanted

to come get some fun up here.

- You're confused?

- Yeah.

No. Don't be.

I just want somewhere

more comfortable where I can, you know,

undress comfortably.

- Mmh? Or do you want me to go home?

- Mh-hmm. [heaves]

I don't know, mami.

[chuckling] Golden Chainz

is taking you home, baby!

It's gonna get jumping...

go get up in here, baby.

- Yeah.

- We're going home, baby.

- Mh-hmm.

- We're going home.

We're gonna make

it a gold mine up in there, baby.

Take it easy on yourself.

I've got this. Ha ha!

- Baby, baby. [chuckles, whoops]

- [laughs]

- So, let's go get golden, baby.

- Yeah. Yes.

Bling-bling,

know what I'm saying. Bling-bling.

[whoops] Shake

[suspenseful music plays]

Why?!

[indistinct chatter]

Ah, Moscow! What's up?

[laughs][in Pidgin] Seems like the drink

you had yesterday hit hard.

Uh huh! I haven't even recovered.

Uh! That's how it is. [laughs]

[in English] Guys.

I hope everything is set for tomorrow.

There can't be any stories.

[in Pidgin] It's all taken care of.

Don't worry. Relax.

[exclaims] Moscow.

What's wrong with you? [chuckles]

Nothing. Mmh.

Where's Golden Chainz?

Oh, weren't you here?

He's with Jessica.

She was all over him, touching him.

[laughs]

See. at first they went upstairs

to get it started.

Slow, steady. Slow, steady.

As if that wasn't enough,

they went to his house.

Game over. [laughs]

Ah! This is my jam! Let's dance! [cheers]

This is my song!

[ominous music playing]

Mmh. [kissing] Yeah, baby.

- [Chainz moans]

- [sighs]

The way you're acting...

You talk like those men

who are all talk but only last one minute.

[comical music plays]

Baby, I'm Golden Chainz.

I dig gold mines for a living.

I make it rain.

I've got a drill. I'll go, Grr, grr, grr.

I'm gonna drill you,

- I'm gonna make it golden.

- [scoffs]

I'm gonna make it bling-bling, baby.

That's what they always say.

- [chuckles] They ain't Golden, man.

- No no no.

When they start, everything crumbles.

- [laughs] Not me, baby.

- Look...

[hesitates] My drill is industrial.

I have something.

If you take it,

it will help you perform very well.

- Mmmh. See.

- Really?

You'll go for hours and be able

to take me in 70 positions in 70 minutes.

- Give it here!

- Wait! Just a drop!

sh*t, man!

- You're late.

- Where's Johnson?

It's done.

I was able to install

the software early this morning.

Uh. Well done.

- Good work.

- [panting]

- You heard her.

- Thank you.

What the hell are you still waiting for?

Get a move on!

- Well done.

- Thank you, boss.

Finally, I can make this arrest.

We are going

to arrest Big G as well, right?

No.

Just Golden Chainz.

Boss.

I found out that Big G is affiliated

with an international drug cartel.

- There's a lot that we are missing.

- [Wale clears throat]

You had clear instructions

on what your part was.

You had no business investigating Big G.

Maybe that's what took her so long.

It's my duty as an officer of the law

to keep criminals off the streets.

Don't take that tone with me, young lady.

That's enough, Yetunde. Enough.

[dark music plays]

You have your field duty.

The IGP has his scapegoat.

And I finally have my high profile arrest.

[gulps]

I can see the papers now.

"Infamous cyber fraudster arrested

after a year-long investigation."

So Big G just gets to walk free.

Because the IG wants his scapegoat.

And because you want

your name in the papers.

What happened to the oath

you took to serve and protect?

I will not accept this sort of behaviour.

You've done your job.

It's over.

I do not want you anywhere near this case.

We'll make the arrest tonight

once the deal is done.

[Agent Kalu] Once the money enters

the account that Johnson

provided them,

we'll freeze it immediately.

Before they know it,

we'll swoop in and arrest Golden Chainz.

What a befitting end.

He's going to be arrested in his own club.

Ha! Poetic.

Go back to your life. You are dismissed.

And where the hell is Johnson?

[door closes]

[phone buzzes]

Big G, what's popping, bro?

That's golden.

That's bling-bling, baby.

[in Pidgin] Don't worry,

I'll update you. That's golden!

- What's up?

- Check.

- The money is in the account.

- That's bling-bling, you know!

That's bling bling!

Guy, break up and send.

You know what to do.

[Chainz] Oh boy! [chuckles]

Cana.

[in Pidgin] Why do you squeeze

your face like spoiled soup?

Send it.

Huh! Boss, there's a problem.

I can't login to the account anymore.

What do you...?

[scoffs]

[sing song] Gotta stay golden, bro.

Got to... Gotta stay bling...

Me too!

[tense music playing]

Cana, do something. Try something!

Boss, there's nothing else I can do.

Something is wrong somewhere.

Guy, move aside. Please!

Guy, chill!

Do what you do!

That's what you are here for!

Oh boy!

It looks like this account

has been frozen by law enforcement.

Cana, what do you mean,

law enforcement froze the account?!

You know what to do.

What else are you here for?

Type what you type. You know!

I got in the bank server

through the back door.

There is a red cover on the account.

What do you mean,

"red cover." Is that a book?

Speak what I can understand!

What's happening?

[inhales] Boss, they don't do so unless

law enforcement asks them to.

[Cana tuts] There's trouble.

[heavy sigh] Woah!

[phone buzzing]

Ah! Big G!

[tense music playing]

Chainz?

It's not golden.

[in Pidgin] It's not golden anymore!

Nothing is bling-bling!

Beans, 500. And meat, 200.

[phone buzzing]

Please don't be upset, ma. I'm coming.

[ominous music playing]

Johnson!

Oh my God.

[line ringing]

Hey!

See them with g*ns!

Golden Chainz.

This ain't golden, man!

This ain't bling-bling, man!

[door opens]

- Move!

- Oh you! Move it!

- Move!

- [Chainz yelps]

- [in Pidgin] I beg you in God's name.

- Move!

Slowly, slowly. Alright, come on.

- [in English] Move!

- I'm moving, I'm moving.

[sighs]

Why, hello! So you remembered me.

Now is not the time.

Please, I need your help.

[apprehensive music plays]

I installed a software on his phone

when we were training.

That means I can track his phone.

He's in a warehouse somewhere in Sabo.

Why is he in a warehouse in Sabo?!

Why am I driving you there?!

Yes!

I have reason to believe that

Golden Chainz and Johnson

are in imminent danger.

I'm on my way with backup.

Don't go in till we get there.

[Johnson in Pidgin] Yetunde,

you can't put me in this sort of position.

What's all this? Where's my own vest?!

You'll be fine, okay.

Just stay put.

- Alone?!

- You are talking too much.

Just park the car there.

So they won't see me around there.

- You ready, boys?!

- Yes, sir!

We are going in and going in quick!

We are there to make a scene.

So if you see

anyone trying to take photographs

or record the vibe, let them.

Let's make all his fans

see him in handcuffs. [laughs]

- We all know what we are there to do?

- Yes, sir!

Alright, boys! Let's go!

[suspenseful music playing]

So what, I'm talking too much now?

Yetunde, what have you got me involved in?

- What's all this?

- Wait for backup.

Are you mad?! Wait for what backup?

- What is going on?

- Stay in the car.

Please. Wait, wait!

- You can't leave me here! You're wearing

- [indistinct]

- A bulletproof vest and I'm not!

- Trust me,

- you will be fine.

- How will I be fine?! Are you mad?!

[suspenseful music continues]

f*ck!

Moscow. sh*t, this ain't golden.

What's popping?

Damn, do something!

Jessica?!

- Yetunde! How?

- I tracked your phone.

Yetunde? Tracker?

Moscow, what's popping?

No. Backup is on the way.

Backup? Tracker? You are police!

Big G is a senior general

for a big drug lord. Mr. K.

- Ah! Drug Baron!

- He's after his pound of flesh.

It's his money

that got frozen in the account.

We've got to go!

[spluttering] Wait!

Wait! Wait for me! [whimpers]

I don't want to die.

I'm too golden to die!

Help me, man! I ain't gonna go down. Help!

- Wait, wait.

- What?!

- I think our hosts have arrived.

- What do we do?

- [whimpering] What do we do?

- [Johnson exclaims]

I don't want to die!

We'll have to hold

them down till backup comes.

- Come on, come on.

- You, hide behind the machine. Shh!

[suspenseful music playing]

Is this some kind of joke?

Because I'm not finding this funny.

[Big G] Where are they?

- [yells] Where are they?

- They were here just now.

Spread out and find them!

They can't have gone far.

Spread out!

If I don't find those jokers,

your head is going to go.

Is that understood? Mmh?

Yes, sir.

I am tired of your excuses.

What is the meaning of this?

[metal clangs]

Don't come any closer!

And why should we do that?

We are law enforcement officers!

The police are on their way.

It will be wise of you to put down

your weapons and surrender.

[sinister laughter] I'll tell you what.

Mmh? Why don't you just

hand over Golden Chainz to me,

and then maybe I'll k*ll you quickly.

Because nobody messes

with my money and lives to talk about it!

[g*nsh*t]

[g*nf*re exchange]

I knew there was something

fishy about you!

[yelps, speaks Edo prayer in fright]

Please God, man, if you save me, I know...

What is this nonsense I'm saying?

[in English] I will speak well.

In Jesus name...

So you slept with him?

What kind of inappropriate question

to be asking at an inappropriate moment?

Hm?

[apprehensive music playing]

So did you?

You already congratulated me.

Why does it matter?

So you did, eh?

So the only way I could have achieved

the assignment was by sleeping with him?

[praying] Father, my name is Emmanuel.

I'm not Golden Chainz! Save your son!

I promise to change my ways. [whimpers]

God please, I'm too golden to die!

- How did you do it?

- Easy. I drugged him.

I'm almost out.

- I only have one magazine left as well.

- Me too.

Ready?

[suspenseful music crescendos]

[man] Enter!

[sirens blaring]

[police] Go, go, go!

Where have you guys been?!

[sirens blaring]

Take it easy.

[calm music plays]

What you did was reckless, Yetunde.

Dangerous even!

How could you endanger

the lives of your colleagues?

- Ma, it was only...

- You should have told us

what you wanted to do!

- I'm sorry, there was no other...

- You know better than to break protocol!

What do you mean by that? I mean...

I think what she did

was very brave and courageous.

Who is this?

Mr. Drip. Your job here is done.

You have been given a new sheet.

Take advantage of it.

Fashola!

It was very nice working with you.

You are the best partner

I've ever had. Thank you.

And you are my best

achievement as a stylist as well.

I need to leave now.

Ma.

The criminals have been duly detained

and we are ready to head out.

Alright, ASP Atun.

- I'll join you shortly.

- Yes ma.

Ma.

I am not in trouble

because I broke protocol, am I?

- Of course not.

- [both laugh]

I'm glad you broke protocol.

If you hadn't, how would we have arrested

two big wanted criminals

all in the same day?

A cyber crime criminal

and a drug lord in one day.

You did well, kiddo.

Well done! Well done.

- Thank you, ma.

- Break more protocols.

I'm proud of you.

[triumphant music playing]

[comical music playing]

[romantic music playing]

Everybody, don't move!

This is the police!

Yeah, everybody, don't...

[comical music playing]

sh*t! [grumbles]

[stutters] You... There was nobody here?!

sh*t!

[charming music playing]

- [man] Hi

- [giggles] Hello?

You're going out already?

I thought you said you

weren't going to work today.

I'm not going to work. I have

that interview with @Kimberly by 11.

Mmh. There you go.

You look beautiful, Detective Yetunde.

Ah! Ah! Thank you.

Mr. Suspended Undercover Agent.

[laughs] Mmh.

Stay with me.

Mmh. You know I wish I could.

But I'm the latest top dog in town.

And I have a bunch of case files

and paperwork waiting on me. Okay?

- You gonna kiss me then.

- Uhn?

Kiss me.

- After you brush.

- [both laugh]

I'll see you soon.

- Alright, see you.

- Bye.

[music continues playing]

So, Pink Butterfly or Jessica.

Which other names do you go by nowadays?

- I am actually Yetunde Tejumola.

- Oh.

But a lot of people

know me by my alter-ego,

- Pink Butterfly. Yes

- Pink Butterfly. [laughs]

That is so beautiful.

And your name Yetunde,

- it suits you.

- Thank you.

So tell me, you are

a police-woman who went undercover...

- Mh-hmm.

- to bust the biggest

fraudster in the country.

- Mmh.

- And one of the biggest drug lords

- in the country.

- That's correct.

How exactly did you go

from being a regular police woman

to being one of the baddest

b*tches on social media?

And bringing down

two syndicates simultaneously.

- Can you tell me how?

- [Yetunde giggles]

[exhales] Of course.

[upbeat music playing]
