[angry mutters]

on the scene
of a major traffic disaster

in downtown Grutely.

[Pamela] And now,
an exclusive interview with the innocent

victim of this senseless tragedy.

-It's Anita.
-[gasps]

Really, Pamela, one stalled car

is hardly a senseless tragedy.

It is in Grutely.

Now tell us exactly what happened

after your car screeched
to a terrifying halt.

It didn't screech,
and I wasn't terrified.

I just ran out of gas,
and when I went for help,

I accidentally locked my keys in the car.

There you have it, a car, a key,

a careless moment,

and life for this motorist
will never be the same.

[grunts]

in Grutely's fast-growing,
major gridlock disaster.

Anita's car just missed
getting smashed.

We've got to help her.

Meanwhile, we're missing
the cheddar cheese awards.

My cousin Queenie down the road

is getting a golden bucket

for best butter fat performance
in a domestic dairy.

You know, since I was a little heifer,

I dreamed of making
it big in the dairy biz,

but I couldn't have done it
without the warm fingers

of my milker.

you curdle yourselves!

[bellows]

Ooh, this is almost as exciting

as the time Lance Brama broke up
the Colombian alfalfa cartel.

late-breaking news bulletin.

-Oh! Not again!
-Oh, not again.

We are live from
the Greater Grutely Gridlock Disaster,

where ace locksmith Horace is attempting

to unlock Anita Dearly's stalled car
by going through the trunk.

Wait a minute, this just in:

two notorious burglars have escaped

from Stifle State prison this morning

and were seen heading this way.

Lock your doors and windows,

and do not confront
these dangerous crooks.

If you see them,
call the Grutely police department.

And here he is!

Hi, Pop.

[panting]

I thought they'd chase us forever.

[panting]

[echoed panting]

[Spot] I'm pooped.

There's no way
I can stagger any further.

-[car honks]
-[screams]

[engine revving]

-Out of the way, road hog!

Maybe we can catch a ride on that truck.

[engine sputters]

We should have stole
a faster get-away car.

This'll get us to Grutely.
We'll rob the bank,

and the cops won't even notice us.

from the Great Grutely Gridlock.

In attempting to gain access

to Anita Dearly's car,
well-known locksmith Horace

has locked himself in the trunk.

[Horace knocking] Jasper?

Hello? Somebody?

Anybody?

Am I on TV?

-[engine revs]
-[tires screech]

Are you listening out there?

We have actual news
right here in Grutely,

and you saw it here first.

[snoring]

And now, an exclusive interview
with Grutely's leading citizen

Cruella De Vil.

[snoring]

Tell us, Ms. De Vil,

out of the open vault

in the Grutely Bank?

Well, it's mostly mine, anyway.

Consider it a cash withdrawal.

I'll fill out the tedious forms.

Yeah, I know what you're thinking.

This'll be the easiest caper
we ever pulled.

[both laughing]

with a bunch of crooks!

-[engine starts]

We'll figure out some way to stop 'em.

this namby-pamby tripe?

the Militaristic Runts Channel,

and now it's time
for "Small Blowhards in Uniform."

[sighs]

For the first time in local history,

we are able to bring you
a live broadcast

of a crime in progress.

Moments ago,
the escaped cons arrived on the scene

and tied up several
of our leading citizens.

According to Mom,
the Grutely police force

will be here right after his nap.

[Horace] Help! I need to go
to the little boys' room!

The situation is too dangerous.

[whimpers] Okay, please hurry.

I mean it.

Hey, the crooks
are stealing Cruella's car

with all the money
from the bank vault.

We've got to stop 'em.

-[car engine revs]

We just run 60 miles an hour
and keep yelling, "Halt!"

I've got a better idea. Come on!

They're headed out of town!

Rolly, bombs away!

You're under arrest for prison escape,

bank robbery,
and disturbing my nap.

Don't move or I'll call out
the Grutely SWAT team.

[laughs] You know,
this was a lot more fun

than vegging out and watching TV,

even The Gravy Channel.

of these four brave creatures

the most exciting news day
in Grutely history

has come to a happy end.

they get all the glory?

Maybe 'cause they were
doing something

instead of sitting around
all day watching TV.
