Scallop, have you seen my...? Whoa!

Kelp!

You squished Indy Maria.

Huh?

I'm sorry, Indy Maria.

Huh. You sure do have a lot of toys.

I know. Isn't it great?

Will you ever have time
to play with all these?

Not that many toys.

Well, I can't remember the last time
I saw you play with Indy Maria.

She's my favorite.

Oh.

You're not here all the time.

I play with her when you're not here.

What in the ocean happened in here?

Nothing. I'm just playing.

Why don't we put the ones
you're not playing with in the chest?

Okay, Mom.

Not playing with that or that.

[humming]

[grunting]

I'll just hold on to Indy Maria
because I love her so much.

If you say so.

Wow. I haven't seen her in a while.

You're not here all the time.
I play with her when you're not here.

I play with her all the time.

-Dad knows.
-What does Dad know?

Everything.

'Cause you're the best dad ever.

We're going out to play. Bye.

-[Kelp] Bye.
-What was all that about?

Well, I'm pretty sure our daughter thinks
I'm the best dad ever.

[giggling]

Hi, Mrs. Polypdopoulos.

Hi, Mr... Huh?

Where's Mr. Pearly?

Yeah. Where's Mr. Pearly?

Oh, he's off
in his secret cave of treasures.

What's a secret cave of treasures?

A place where you keep
all your treasures, of course.

-Where is it?
-Yeah. Where is it?

It's a secret.

Aw.

Just kidding.

He always swims off in that direction.
You'll find it.

It's not that much of a secret.

-Thanks, Mrs. Polypdopoulos.
-Bye.

-Wait. You forgot this.
-Huh?

Oops.

Thanks.

[grunting]

[Scallop] Hi, Waverly's moms.

Hi, Scallop. Hi, Kelp.

Ooh. That looks like very hard work.

It sure would be easier
gardening with a rake.

But you work with what you've got.

Are you looking for Waverly?
She's playing with Shark and Pilot Fish.

That's okay.

We're actually looking for Mr. Pearly.

Have you seen him swim past?

Uh-huh. And not that long ago.

-You're headed the right way.
-Bye.

-Thanks.
-Bye, kids.

Bye.

[grunting]

Hi, Otis.

Oh, no. Your foot.

Is there anything we can do?

Mm... Mm-mm.

Okay. Hey, have you seen Mr. Pearly?

Mm-hm.

[grunting]

Thanks, Otis.

Aw.

Hi, turtles.

Have you seen Mr. Pearly?

[both gasping]

Thanks.

What's he doing?

I think he's...

Nope, no clue.

[gasps] That must be where
his secret cave of treasures is.

Come on.

[clears throat] Forget something?

[chuckles nervously]

Oops. Again.

Mr. Pearly's secret cave of treasures.

Whoa. Look at all this cool stuff.

See? Mr. Pearly has lots of toys too.

He sure does.

Oh, hi, kids.

I guess my secret cave of treasures
is not so secret, huh?

[all laugh]

We're sorry, Mr. Pearly.
We didn't mean to intrude.

We were so excited
when Mrs. Polypdopoulos told us about it.

It's magnificent.

Oh, no, I'm thrilled.

Excited.

Delighted.

Besides, it's really not
that much of a secret.

Oh, you kids are gonna love it here.

Here, allow me to show you around.

These are my rugs.

[whistles]

Look at all them rugs.

Yep. You never know when
you're gonna need a rug, am I right?

Totally.

Uh, I don't think I've ever needed a rug.

Whoa.

One, two, three, four, five,

six, seven, eight, nine, ten.

Ten spoons?

-That's a lot of spoons.
-Well, sure.

-But...
-[wood clatters]

But what if an octopus
is coming for dinner?

Scallop, Kelp, this is Zips.
He keeps an eye on the place for me.

-Hi.
-Hello, Zips.

Nice to meet you.

Mm-hm.

Uh, Zips, can I borrow you for a sec?

See? One, two, three,
four, five, six, seven, eight.

A spoon for each arm and two to spare.

Yeah, but Zips only has one mouth.

Uh-huh.

Good point.

Thanks for your help, Zips.

Now, where are my buckets?

Let's see...

Uh, fin cream, no.

Mirror, no.

That's where that went.

Ah, the more treasures I get,

the harder and harder it is to find
the exact thing that I'm looking for.

Do you want us to help you look?

That would be swell. Thanks, kids.

Cool. What's this?

[all shouting]

Hey, one of my buckets.

Well, look at that.

I never knew, I...

I had a giant sea sponge in there.

Mr. Pearly, I think
you may have too much stuff.

But everything has its place.

I see your point.

It's just, I don't wanna say goodbye
to any of my treasures.

What if I need them one day?

[gasps] I know of some creatures
who could use your stuff today.

Waverly's moms could give their fins
a break and use this rake in their garden.

Well, that's a nifty idea.

I'd love to help out the Shellskas.

My brother's got lots of nifty ideas.

Well, I believe it.

Not your average narwhal, are you?

Nope. He's part unicorn too.

And because I get to spend time
in two worlds,

I get twice as many nifty ideas.

Like these rings.

I bet Otis the Snail
could use them to help get around.

He hurt his foot.

Did you know sea snails have a foot?

I did not know that.

That is actually really fascinating.

And true.

And I bet the turtles
might like to give each other flowers.

I think they're in love.

But these are my favorite flowers.

Wait. Are these my favorite?

[giggles] That's what I think
about my favorite toy, Indy Maria, too.

Where is she, anyway?

Between us, Kelp's right.

I don't even really play with her anymore.

But you might, one day.

Yeah, but maybe it's time

I give Indy Maria to someone
who will play with her today.

That's really brave of you, sis.

Well, if you can be brave, I can too.

-Yay!
-Woo-hoo!

Yeah!

You could see that this side
just looks like a shell. But...

Here. Here, take two.

Thank you. Just what we needed.

And there's plenty to go around.

Whoo, whoo, whoo!

You really helped Otis get around.

I did, didn't I? Oh.

Who knew giving away your extra things
could make you feel this good?

[Scallop laughing]

[Kelp] "Campout."

Tonight is going to be
a super-special night,

especially for Kelp.

This is my first campout ever.

And I'll make sure
it's the best one you'll ever have.

Riki promised there will be
a meteor shower tonight.

-Cool.
-Wow.

It was a little more of a hope
than a promise.

I don't like taking showers.

Do I have to?

[laughs] A meteor shower
is a different kind of shower.

Huh?

It's where there are
a lot of sh**ting stars,

and it usually happens
around this time of year.

So, hopefully, we will see some tonight.

Of course we will.

-I even wore these for good luck.
-[Kelp] Wow.

It'll be my first sh**ting star ever too.

Well, you'll definitely see one tonight.

-Riki guaranteed it.
-Hoped.

Whoo! I wanna see the first one.

Well, this isn't happening.

I'm sure we'll see some soon.

Until then,
I've got lots of fun activities planned.

Let's start with...

[gasps] Porfwobblers!

Porfwobblers!

Yay.

-[Riki] Yum.
-My favorite.

What's a porfwobbler?

They're the best.

But first,
you need your porfwobbler stick.

[Kelp] Thank you.

Whoa!

Yours is so pretty.

Oh, take mine, then.

Okay. Thanks.

You roast it over a campsparkler,
and then you get to eat it.

Sounds fun.

What's a campsparkler?

You're gonna like this.

Watch Riki.

[all] Whoa. Wow.

Whoa.

It's so pretty.

Go on, Kelp.

Hold your porfwobbler
close to the sparks so it can roast.

The longer you roast it,
the more wobbly it gets.

And the wobbling makes them yummier.

[gasps] Perfect.

Mm, yum.

-Careful not to roast it too long or...
-Uh-oh.

Huh?

Or that happens.

[laughs] That was pretty fun.

But I'm not sure about the yummy part.

Kelp, I'm so sorry.

Nothing's worse than a sticky mane.

It's okay, Ollie.
It'll wash off in the ocean.

Speaking of the ocean,
I brought a snack for us too.

It's my dad's famous recipe:

seaweed marinated in plankton.

Yes!

Great idea, Kelp.
This should cheer things up.

Come on, everybody.
Let's try Kelp's yummy snack.

[sniffs, then chuckles nervously]

Mm...

It's really, um, uh...

interesting, Kelp.

I think it's groovy to try new things.

Well, it sure is, um... seaweedy.

Do I have to?

It's a bit strange at first.

You don't have to eat it
if you don't want to.

Phew.

I'm sorry your snack
isn't exactly everybody's favorite, Kelp.

Don't worry about it, Ollie.

I'm happy just to show everyone
what my family likes to snack on.

But you always like our food.

Oh. Where are the sh**ting stars already?

Okay.

Uh, I can fix this.

For our next super-fun campout activity,
it's story time.

Me too, Leroy. I love stories.

While someone tells a story,
the others will act it out.

And since we're at a campout,
it has to be a scary story.

Ooh. I love scary stories the best.

Can I go first?

Of course.

After all,
it is your special first campout.

You tell the story,
and I'll direct the actors.

[all giggling]

But don't make it too scary.

-Okay?
-Sure.

Scary but not too scary.

Hmm. Let's see...

Got it.

Once upon a time,
there was a little baby narwhal.

Ooh. Can I be the little baby narwhal?

Sure.

[singsongy] Wha! I'm a baby narwhal.

[all giggling]

[Tutu] I'm a baby narwhal.

As the little baby narwhal swims along,

he suddenly comes upon...
a giant scary squid!

What's a squib?

No, not squib.

You don't know what a giant squid is?

Well, squids aren't actually scary.

They're pretty friendly.

But for the story, this one is scary.

They live in the ocean

and look like
they've got lots of wavy legs

coming out of their faces.

[both] Whoa.

Legs out of the face. Got it.

Okay, here we go. Action.

[Kelp] Suddenly,
the baby narwhal comes upon

a giant squid.

[all laughing]

No, no, no. Don't laugh.

It's supposed to be scary.

Ooh. Rawr.

You're ruining Kelp's scary story.

-Watch out for my face legs.
-Oh.

Even story time didn't work.

Huh?

Hey, Ollie, what's wrong?

Oh, Kelp,

I'm so sorry.

Why?

Everything went wrong.

It did?

Yes.

The porfwobblers wrecked your mane,
no one liked your snack,

and we made your scary story funny.

And look.

There are still no sh**ting stars.

I wanted your first campout
to be really special,

but it's a disaster.

Do you wanna go home?

No way. I'm having too much fun.

You are?

Yeah. I don't mind a messy mane,

and I loved how funny
the giant-squid actors were.

-You did?
-Yep.

And I'll keep trying with the seaweed.

Someday they'll learn to like it, or not.

But what about the sh**ting stars?

Well, it would've been neat to see one,
but I'm sure I'll see one someday.

Really? You're not disappointed?

Not at all.

The only thing is...

Is what?

I wish that my friend Ollie
was having as much fun as I am.

Tonight is a special night.

-Look around.
